Walking distance to the shops

Great

Nice location, easy to get to, but the Wi-Fi was down from the time I checked in till the time I checked out, so no way for me to work on big projects and no TV to watch due to their issue with their Internet provider. It was not the Hotel‘s fault But now I’m leaving early in the morning to get work done or I hang and get a strong enough Wi-Fi connection, because my phone hotspot is not strong enough.

Great stay!

We chose to stay here so that we could walk to a variety of restaurants during our visit. The variety of walkable options exceeded our expectations -- we enjoyed Mexican, some of the best Indian food we'd ever had, and Greek cuisines. The staff were also very friendly, and the in-hotel snack bar and morning breakfast were nicely stocked.

BEWARE WHAT COULD HAPPEN

Only problem was someone was smoking in a non smoking hotel. The smell of smoke came thur the bathroom vent. It was not corrected when spoke to front desk clerk on duty.

Hotel located in a great location.

Staff was very friendly and the hotel was clean amd maintained. Dealing with the mall traffic was the only drawback, but you habe mamy options to walk to.

Very clean, looks new, good breakfast, nice room and quiet. The staff was very professional and kind. We were in a handicapped accessible room and it was laid out well.

Never stayed at a Hampton Inn before. The room was comfortable and spacious. Hotel staff very nice and helpful. Breakfast was awesome. We never once considered going out for breakfast. Right next to shopping area which I walked to daily. Felt very safe in the area

Overall well-managed hotel! Staff was friendly and helpful, staff were constantly cleaning and the hotel breakfasts are great with plenty of options.

The hotel said they were over booked and canceled my reservation

Power was out for two days and they still tried to charge me full price. I was hot and muggy and smelled of mildew

It was a okay stay, upon arrival we were assigned room 422 and when we walked into the room it smelled like mold! Room was clean however so we just rode it out since it was one night. Breakfast was good, we tried to request a late checkout for 12pm and was told flat out “NO” by Leslie at the front desk. Just wanted extra time to go for a dip in the pool so we lost out on that. Overall just okay not worth the price we paid.

Georgia, who works at Fronr Desk was so incredible getting us settled during Hurricane Helene. She went above and beyond to make sure we were ok and safe as well a great stay. My wife and I stayed at alot of hotels but never enjoyed our stay as much as at the Hampton. Thank you so much! This is why we are Hilton honors member.

Honest and patient

The Guest services gentleman was very patient and kind dealing with our payment not showing although we did pay. The honesty of housekeeping is very much appreciated as they turned in my necklace a earrings I had forgotten, when I called it was an easy process to have them shipped to me, please let the staff know how much we appreciate them.

It's a very nice hotel. Clean rooms, friendly staff, and decent breakfast. My only complaint was the room air conditioner didn't work very well so the room was a bit warm. May not have been an issue if it hadn't been so hot outside.

Staff members were always welcoming. Rooms were clean and quiet.

Great stay, prices were inflated because of some events in the area. If the price had been more reasonable I would have given 5 stars

The hotel is in a busy mall parking lot and they had one of the entrances blocked by construction and the other one was blocked by delivery trucks. Absolutely unsafe for an emergency access.

The hotel was nice and the staff friendly but the best thing was the great location. Super convenient to the interstate as well as lots dining and shopping all with 5 to 10 minutes of the hotel.. will definitely stay here again next time

Fantastic hotel. Front desk staff is amazing and the little dog on the office was a wonderful bright spot tbag made me smile. The hotel itself is immaculate . Clean up to date EXCELLENT food and coffee. Above and beyond .

Whenever we are in Lakewood Ranch we stay at the Hampton. Nice facilities, great location, friendly people. The breakfast is good, the rooms clean and well maintained. A quiet, restful night.

I loved the staff- particularly Parker, the young man at the desk when we (myself and my dog Spencer="we") checked in. The only disappointment was that the pool was closed. I'd have liked an evening swim. After a long travel day and cramped airplane seat a hot tub and/or cool pool water would've made the room cost more acceptable. I think a slight FEE reduction for the lack of that (advertised) amenity would've been in order! Perhaps offer a room-rate reduction for my next visit , based on the undisclosed lack of pool when the room was reserved (and pre-paid for!). Joy Bang. But again, the STAFF were exemplary. From the housekeeping folks that I met, to the woman who helped to make breakfast a pleasure, and let's not forget John- he helped me "work" my TV without making me feel stupid. Thanks you'all

I enjoyed the quality and variety of options for breakfast. I did not care for the bed. It was soft and dipped in the middle.

The hotel was great. The night staff at checkin was a little difficult. Our redeye flight from LAX to Tampa was late so we didnt arrive until 2:00AM. We booked through a 3rd party and the desk staff said he didnt have our reservation. He said the system downloaded and wiped it out so he wanted to charge our card for the room. He finally gave us a room and said we'd handle it in the morning. When we opened our room door there was someone in the room. So we had to go back down to the front desk to get another room. The next morning the daytime desk clerk said everything was fine and our room was on our 3rd party reservation and we checked out.

The bed and pillows were very uncomfortable. But overall I loved the hotel room size, shower had great water pressure, breakfast was good. Highly recommend this area.

Convenient location

We loved our stay at this Hampton. Rooms were clean and upscale. Very sound proof.The breakfast was excellent with different variety each day. The lobby or foyer is lovely to lounge in. The 24hr fruit and beverages were nice. They offered a large selection of items for purchase of food , drinks or incidentals. The pool araa is very lovely with very nice lounge chairs and areas for sun or shade. We have no complaints and would love to stay again.

My wife and I were delighted with the high standard of care especially with housekeeping daily at a high level. Reception was especially good and there were no difficulties only a caring attitude. We are happy to give a top rating throughout.

Calm During the Storm

Most of the guests staying in the hotel were, like us, evacuating during Hurricane Ian. The staff was amazing in this very stressful situation. They were working on little sleep and yet showed patience, kindness and competence while we guests worried about our homes and families and heard the howling winds outside. Amazing. Thank you so very much!!!!

Very good place around and perfect hotel

Rachel at the front desk was friendly and welcoming. Overall the hotel was great, room was clean and smelled fresh, the breakfast was good, the facilities are kept up and clean, The coffee in the lobby offered 24/7 was great since travelers get what I call travelers lag and this pick me up was very welcomed. Bed was comfortable although the pillows, though soft, were a bit too soft. No real complaints at all. Would def visit again and also recommend to anyone coming to this area

The hotel overall was great! But coming in with two toddlers it made things very hard for me when the rooms didn’t even have a microwave to heat up their food. I initially downloaded their app to be able to skip check in and get digital keys but that didn’t work either. I ended up going to the front desk with two toddlers to check in. Only one elevator was working. I would say for adults is okay but I don’t find it to be family friendly.

AC in the room was horrible! Checked in at 3pm after working all day set thermostat at 70. Showered went to dinner came back several hours later room temperature was still reading 75 degrees it never changed. No I didn’t go tell anyone at the front desk as I was only there for one night and worked and drove all day so just didn’t want to have to move everything to another room.

Completely updated hotel! The walk in shower was so nice. Everything was clean and the front desk service was phenomenal. You can’t beat then location for shopping and great food, especially since everything is within walking distance. The bed was a bit hard but everything else was perfect!

Breakfast and cleanliness were good. A little expensive.

The property was great. Expedia was awful. Messed up our reservation and provided no help in fixing it. I’ll always book direct with hotel (and air lines) after this!

Great rom. Door knob was too tight. Door could not easily. Reported and friendly front desk staff was able to help me. She couldn’t open the door first try. All in all great room. Very pleased.

We love this Hampton Inn & Suites. This was our second time staying and the hotel is so nice and clean. The staff are great also. The location is wonderful. I can't say enough good things about this place!

This is a great location to Nathan Benderson Park as well as more shopping & restaurants than you can count. Wonderful, quiet area. The room is perfect except for one thing; they have, in my opinion, horrible pillows. I'll definitely stay there again but I will bring my own pillows. They are too small & no support.

Property is newly renovated, clean and very well positioned in the town center, with easy access to everything. Staff is very pleasant.

Lighting in room was very dim, hard to see the thermostat.
