Friendly , fast check in and check out staff. Very Friendly breakfast staff. Disappointments: common hallways needed vacuuming. Morning shower never got hot.

It was a clean and friendly environment. Which i enjoyed. The staff was attentive, honest and knew there job well. Will use this hotel again if im in this area.

What we needed at the time

We selected this hotel at the very last minute, en route to a family emergency. We checked in late at night. The front desk clerk was friendly, helpful, and respectful. The room was clean, and decent. It provided what my family, and I needed in the mist of our emergency. The breakfast was a huge plus.

The breakfast was really good and had a good variety. The bed was very comfortable and the cable had pretty good channels for entertainment. I didn’t get to use the pool but it seemed really nice as well. For the price was very reasonable

Disapointed

While all the employees were wonderful, attentive and polite we found the room so so. The beds and pillows were too soft, it was hard to maintain even temp in the room. One minute it was cold and then whenthe heat kicked in it was stifling. The hallways and the elevator were freezing as was the lobby except when you got that blast of hot air from the electric heater plugged in. The main reason we booked this hotel was because it had an indoor pool. We were really looking forward to that. It did not say that it was an UNHEATED pool. That was very disapointing.

The continental breakfast left a lot to be desired. There was only decaffeinated coffee available in the room and when we asked for regular coffee we were told there wasn’t any. The one and only treadmill in the fitness room did not work. The only ice maker in the hotel was on the 2nd floor.

I stayed over for a cheer competition everything was clean and the beds were super comfortable and their pool was open! Loved that for the kids

Terrible experience

I made a reservation for a 1 room Studio, King Bed, Non Smoking when I went to check in at the front desk they told me that the only room they had available was a queen 2 double bed and that in the system it was dirty and that I had to go check and that if it was dirty I had to look for another hotel when she went she said it was clean, when I went to the room the room smelled like a dog and I had to stay because it was late at night and how was I going to find somewhere to stay. Terrible experience and I paid for a studio king bed and ended up sleeping in a double room and it smelled bad. The room number was 313

Great Location - Room was outstanding, Breakfast was fresh and filling, and Front desk staff were pleasant and very accommodating . Only negative was the in-room coffee service only had "decaf" , NO regular brew.

It was close to our relatives. Fitness center could use work on the treadmill and other things no water was available no cleaning wipes for before and after use of machines.

Disappointing, the outside area had trash and plastic bottles laying about the front entrance. The hotel is due for a big renovation and the inside carpets are dirty the elevators are dirty and the rooms were uunclean. The breakfast in the AM had no forks, no syrup and the fruit appeared to be old. I would not stay here again unless changes are made.T

Hotel is decent. Breakfast is poor.

Room was clean. Beds comfortable. Room was noisy. Hotel washing machines were running across the hall with the door open. Children in the next room were very loud in evening and morning. Breakfast was poor on this trip. No normal tea bags. Tea water was not hot. No half n half only the chemical brand of creamery Egg cheese offering was disgusting. Sausage was good. No forks available. Everyone ate with spoons and plastic knives. The breakfast lady only made excuses.

We liked the room and room arrangement. The room needed a little work but okay. We were disappointed the pool was closed for maintenance.

Property is worn looking with ragged and stained carpets. They Do Not provide daily housekeeping. Unimpressive to say the least.

The host was very nice and was very clear on the instructions.

Clean spartan room. Friendly front desk staff. Decent breakfast. But the maid service was nonexistent. Stayed for three nights, sign in the bathroom said service every other day. But not any of the days we stayed.

Our reservation was canceled and the staff did not accommodate me with another room at my expense.

The property is great. I've stayed here several times and have never had a complaint. Expedia didn't send the reservation to the hotel so it took us close to an hour to check in because Expedia has the worst agent's working for them.

It was convenient, right off the highway.

I made sure I put two queen beds when I booked this hotel. My 20 yr old daughter had to sleep on a roll away cot. She did not sleep one wink with springs sticking out. They said there was nothing they could do for us. just bad! i wont' book through expedia anymore. the room was dreary and the tv was on the right side and the bed was not facing it. Jut not comfortable for all the money we spent.

I don’t usually sleep well, but this was amazing! It was quiet with a fabulous bed. Breakfast was delicious with lots of choices. Tables are spread out so you aren’t on top of others. Probably my favorite Hampton Inn to date.

The room was great! There was no shower curtain hung in the bathroom. There was a shower curtain folded up on the counter. We didn’t shower because was uncertain if it was clean or not. Otherwise, very nice.

Attempted to check in and reception advised me they didn’t have a room for us even though we booked through Expedia a month ago. They had a large group of bicyclists occupying the the motel and probably got more $ from that booking than from Expedia. We were left hanging and had to find another motel, Holiday Inn Express located in Woonsocket RI which was very clean and hospitable. Will never book through Expedia nor will I book directly with Hampton Inn and Suites again!

The property needs upgrading, floor in lobby needs repairs, carpets in hallways definitely need a deep steam cleaning! Breakfast while welcoming, it definitely could be better! Food quality is good but options are minimal…

Paid for 2 queen beds and got 1 queen and a pull out couch without any notice.

Tequana at the front desk was amazing. She was professional and welcoming every day! The hotel is nice, but the carpet on the 4th floor was not in good shape as it had stains all over.

The girl who was at the check-in was very rude, she has no respect for the guests.

Excellent my room was clean and spacious. Staff was friendly, check out was easy and late check out is a plus! I would recommend staying here. Stayed for a wedding most guests were next door at Home 2Suites but im my opinion Hampton was better!

Loved our stay here. The room was clean, hotel was clean, breakfast was good. Would definitely stay here again, if in the area. Felt safe the entire 3 day stay. The restaurant just before the hotel is great. Amazing beer selection. Laura's bar and grill.

Our stay was very good. However, the Hampton Inn could not find the confirmed reservation we received from Hotels.com, but the manager was able to provide the room we requested.

Poorly Run Property

No one told us that our room would not be serviced. When I asked, I was told it was due to Covid changes. For what I pd. I expected service. When will the property understand that using Covid as an excuse is no longer the norm…. I called front desk for towels at 5:30 on a Saturday night and was told I had to get them since she was the only one on the property. Parking lot was full, $350 night, again not acceptable.

This hotel was fine for a one-night stopover. It was clean and there were many restaurant choices within a half mile. The coffee pot in the room did not work, and the view of the adjoining sand piles was unimpressive.

If you want somewhere nice with freindly staff and great value for money, no other choices. Next to Laura Bar and Grill

The notice on the bathroom mirror said it was cleaned every other day and we were not told that you had to call the front desk. Twice we needed help at the front desk and there was no one there. No hot water for tea several times. Twice coffee was cold. Each night we left for dinner and when we came back there wasn’t any parking for us as the manager doesn’t have a problem with people that went to Laura’s Bar and Grill use the Hampton Inn’s parking lot. Last but not least, there was not a bottom sheet on the bed and they did’t give hand towels, on the one time in the six nights we were there.

My son and I were in town for a wedding. We were checked in by a friendly and polite and very informative desk reservation specialist. Our room was very large, comfortable and very clean. We had a great nights sleep! The amenities in the bathroom were eco friendly.

All the staff I encountered were awesome! Friendly and funny!

This Hampton Inn seemed to be a newer property as everything was very well maintained and updated. Staff was nice and helpful. The only reason this property did not receive 5 stars is the breakfast ran out of breakfast way before 9:30am. We did not arrive to the hotel from traveling until after 12am due to travel delays and was at breakfast between 8:30-9 and there was no juice left, no waffle mix to make waffles, no fruit or yogurt and no breakfast meat left. Raisin brain cereal and toast was not a big hit with us.

Good and bad qualities.

The room was quiet and clean. I was surprised that they don't use top sheets there, as I prefer it, knowing it's been washed daily. Not sure they wash the light comforters each day. The toilet was very old and low to the ground and the plastic seat was loose and dangerous. My phone didn't work and there was no hairdryer in the room and there should have been. The front desk brought up a dryer and offered to send maintenance for the phone, but we were checking out the next day anyway. The hot breakfast was very sparse and had signs that said, "Due to circumstances beyond our control, breakfast options are limited." And they certainly were. I don't understand why they couldn't get more in from a grocery store if necessary. The staff was polite, but the hotel itself can use some updating with rugs and furniture for sure. We heard that the restaurant in front of the hotel is very good, but we didn't try it.

There was no water pressure in the shower it was horrible and when I called down to let somebody know they acted like they really didn’t care

Overall the hotel was okay. The staff was nice and super helpful. Breakfast could have been better, it was great to have the restaurant next door. The bed was super comfy.

Request what you want or you’ll get what you get.

We got a handicapped room- we’re not handicapped. The room was by the elevator and was loud. There was no view the window faced a concrete wall. Breakfast was shut down at 9:00am, it should have gone until 10:00. At 8:30 they didn’t have yogurt or boiled eggs.

It was adequate.

The staff was so so. Asked for a late check out, but the desk clerk quibbled over 1/2 hr. Then they’re banging on our door one hour before check out, it was off putting. The buffet breakfast was decent enough.

We stayed four days, our room was NEVER cleaned, not even trash taken out or towels changed at all. After the first day we asked why our room wasn't cleaned, we were told because we needed to ask for it so we asked at that moment to be done the next day, next day we got to our room not cleaned at all, and we where told they were short on staff, girl at front desk told me it's wasn't her job so she couldn't do anything about it, she was very rude, she even told me to stand next to the front desk and tell arriving guest the situation. We were attending a school event, so there were at least 20 more rooms attending the same event, same happened to them. We're going bak in a couple of weeks to the area, not stying there anymore, we prefer to stay little bit farther, in Providence.

I have stayed here several and I’m disappointed this stay. The breakfast staff was friendly and very helpful and a good breakfast. Someone came into our room while we were out and went through our luggage that person took antibiotics from my bag. The hotel made a charge on my discover card and when I ask about it Maria the staff at the front dest was very rude when I left the desk she made a rude comment behind my back. I will not stay at this Hampton again.
