Outstanding Hotel Experience

Best hotel experience ever. They are the most amazing people and hotel in the city. Made me feel so comfortable and taken care of during my surgery healing process. There was also room cleaning service everyday which was very nice while recovering in a room. Love them!

I didn’t like the location of the hotel, the carpet is very dirty, the room is small and the breakfast buffet is very limited and boring! I wouldn’t choose to stay there again!

The property itself is nice looking, appears to be clean and the decor is nice. When you take a closer look though, things are broken such as key card scanners and such. The pros are that it was fairly clean, nice decor, breakfast was very good and my favourite part was how quiet the rooms were. Cons, I had A bad experience. The man who checked me in was very rude, no smile and was being really condescending when I was asking questions. Secondly, my room smelled like there was.a leak, you know like wet socks. The staff changed my room but same issue in the next room. Lastly the “room service” is subpar, and actually is not even delivered to your room. You need to go to the lobby to pick it up which defeats the purpose of calling it room service. The smell was pretty bothersome so I ended up switching hotels.

I recently stayed at [Hampton by Hilton Istanbul Atakoy] and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The hotel's location was ideal, situated in a nice neighborhood. Upon arrival, I was greeted by the friendly and professional staff who made the check-in process a breeze. The room itself was spacious, clean, and well-appointed with a comfortable bed. I also appreciated the complimentary [bottled waters, coffee & tea bags]. Overall, I would highly recommend [Hampton by Hilton Istanbul Atakoy] to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay in Istanbul. The combination of great location, friendly staff, and excellent facilities made for a truly memorable experience.

I have photos that shows the stain and the dirt on the carpet and on the sofa. Also the air coming out of the a/c smells so bad. There is also a bad smell in the hallways. And when you leave the room the AC stops working so when you get back the room is so hot. I just want to point out that I made the reservation through Expedia and I paid Expedia. The service I received was not equal to the money I paid Expedia It was not even close. The place was dirty and it smelled so bad. I didn’t sleep the whole night because of the smell. If I stayed I would had gotten sick. I stayed 1 night out of 5 and I booked a replacement hotel. Expedia didn’t help at all they wouldn’t refund me the 4 nights I didn’t stay at this dirty smelly hotel. Expedia service was as bad as the hotel This will be the last time I book through Expedia

Good value city centre hotel. The room was clean and well furnished. Nice to get free wifi and daily room service.

The hotel was clean. Breakfast wasnt something i would lose my sleep over. About 8 miles to the centre of istanbul which wasnt bad. Was annoyed on one occasion when i had been out all day with my family and mine and my daughters room had been cleaned but the doors had been left open. Was very annoyed at that.

Excellent hotel but main problem is getting a taxi. Even when you request a taxi at the concierge it takes at least 30-45 minutes for a taxi. Why? Taxi shortages due to domestic politics (local municipality is run by the opposition mayor but municipality parliament is controlled by the ruling party), the number of medallion taxis is the same since 1990. Bill to increase medallion taxis has been rebuffed by the ruling party thus tourists have to suffer.

The room and bed were much smaller than described. The staff are dismissive and inflexible. The hotel food is awful.

I enjoyed my stay at Hampton by Hilton. I stayed for 6 nights and the staff was great. The accommodation matched what is expected by Hilton-- but the food was even better than Stateside. The breakfast staff was the greatest... overly accommodating and made me feel right at home. The front desk reception was pleasant and attempted to assist me with all my requests... despite my deficiency with the Turkish language. POINTER: For English speakers, I found that if you know Spanish, many of the Turkish understood Spanish better than English. If you like being around action, this is not the hotel for you. It is quite some distance away from the livelier parts of Istanbul. I found myself in Ubers often. It is situated in a residential area with a little shopping area conveniently located next door (which was a BIG plus). This shopping area has stores, restaurants, barbers, etc. Even being away from a lot of the activity, I'd probably opt to stay at this hotel again if ever in Istanbul. Overall... Istanbul had beautiful people, excellent food, and good times!

The Hotel was nice in general but the problem was the location close to the airport take off and landing especially during the night and early morning it was disturbing.

If the location Works for you, don't look at anywhere else. Our bed was comfy, the night was quiet and breakfast was more than good.

Amazing stay

Amazing experience in this hotel. I cancelled my booking from deluxe golden horn sultanahmet hotel and booked in Hampton and I was so excited although I paid cancellation fee of 120 US$. The staff are very welcoming. The area is so quite and nice. The room is fantastic compared to the price. Breakfast was good. Overall I would recommend it highly

The communication was a little bit difficult due to the receptionists don't know English very well

It was my fourth stay in this hotel. I normally really like the hotel in terms of its cleanness and comfort, however, I was not very impressed during my last stay. The issue was that hotel had a major issue with its ventilation system and we experienced a very strong smell in our room constantly. It was not like a light odour, it really felt like as if we have been smoking packages of cigarette inside our room everytime the aircon was on. When I spoke to the reception, they were happy to change the room however, we were given two separate beds. Furthermore, hotel did not offer any kind of compensation for that. This strong smell also triggered my migraine and ruined my stay. I did not get a proper explanation why this happened. I heard from another friend who also recently stayed there experienced exactly same problem room after room after they were given different rooms. I personally had a very bad experience this time and not planning to stay there until they fix the issue.

It would be a good idea if they have leaflets and maps about different tourists attractions.

+ Decent size rooms and response from the staff. + quite location. +good atmosphere around the hotel. _ Breakfast is not good. - Just couple of staff on reception speaks English. - Far away from the historic places and the airports.

Suitable for long stay

Suitable location, close to supermarkets, restaurants and main road. Very calm place in very nice region of istanbul. We stayed for 9 nights and most of the things were acceptable. Staffs, services, room size and comfort.

I loved the hotel. Location is great next to the metro. Main things are around. Like grocery. Money exchange. And close to couple of malls. The staff was GREAT. They speake english too which is rare.

Close to the airport, large room, very clean, spacious bathroom, 24 hour reception. I can’t remember places to eat close by but wasn’t paying attention. The lobby is a bit small. They graciously allowed me a late checkout. Was too sleepy to eat breakfast 😊

Me and my wife stayed 3 night ,it was clean hotel thought we come late for a sleep .I noticed they keep the same bed sheet the second and third day

Value for money

Very nice hotel with lots of nearby restaurants and shops. Midway between airport and city center. The only problem I had was booking confirmation was not sent to hotel on time.

Great place for layover

My wife and kids stayed at the hotel, it's nice and clean. They were welcomed with a nice smile after a crappy 15 minutes ride from the airport because there taxi driver wanted a further ride and not such a short one. The flat rate for the rate according to him was 50 TYR which is around 10$. The room is spacious and the bed was really comfy after a long 9 hours flight from the US. Breakfast was good had a mix of traditional Turkish and international foods with a make your own waffle machine. All in all it was a good stay, they got to shower and freshen up before our second leg of the trip. NOTE: DO NOT ORDER UBER, it's currently illegal in Turkey.

My flights was delayed so I did not arrive until 4am. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The room was very new and clean. The curtains blocked out the morning sun and the bed and pillows were comfortable. I will definitely stay here again. 12min ride from Atatürk airport. 25-30tl Trip.

Great breakfast

Operation manager did not know how to talk with their client. Reseption even can not order the taxi. Thats the bed repotation under the name of Hilton. Was ask them my invoice and they advise me to ask where I made my reservation. I m not the one running after my invoice some one have to give me thats simple all over the world. They give me moorning lesson. If like this I will never use again this aplication for my hotel reservation.

This hotel is so very nice, staff is very friendly and helpful. Very good English by the desk staff. There's parking in the front of the hotel (limited) . Rooms are very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great combination of Turkish and western .

The primary issue with this hotel is the management. They show a blatant disregard for customer rights, prioritizing their own preferences instead. Despite numerous follow-ups, including phone calls and a detailed email sent two weeks ago, I received no response. Additionally, I had outlined specific requests for my check-in, but unfortunately, these were completely ignored, showcasing a lack of professionalism and respect.

Hotel de bır gece kaldık, sessız sorunsuz bır oda talep ettık fakat hotelın odasında ses gelıyordu, su boru sesıydı sanırım ve sabaha kadar devam eden bır ses oldu. Lobıyı aradıgımızda bunun ıcın yapabıleceklerı bır sey olmadıgını soyledıler ve bız o ses ıle sabaha kadar kalmak zorunda kaldık.

Konakladığımız süre boyunca her şey çok güzeldi tek sıkıntı 3. Kişi yatağı çek yat gerçekten kötü ötesi rahatsız edici insanı sakat bırakır cinstendi. Tek ama tek kusur bir an önce iyileştirilmesini temenni ediyoruz.

Daha önceden de konaklamıştım. Yine yanıltmadılar. Temizlik ve odanın durumu gayet iyiydi. Çok iyi bir fiyat performans oteli. Teşekkür ederim.

Otel meydana çok yakın bir muhitteydi. Sessiz, sakin ve konforluydu. Odada kettle ve sıcak içecek ikramı mevcuttu. Ayrıca dolapta ütü ve ütü masası bulunuyordu. Yatak özellikle fazlasıyla rahattı. Konaklamamdan keyif aldım ve genel anlamda memnun kaldım. Sadece saç kurutma makinesi gibi bazı ufak tefek ekipmanın yenilenme zamanı geldiğini ve otele ilk girişteki temizliğin daha iyi olabileceğini düşünüyorum. Sonraki günlerde temizlikten de oldukça memnun kaldım.

Hallo, wir sind für eine Woche aus Deutschland in Istanbul gewesen und haben dieses Hotel ausgewählt. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist der Wahnsinn. Für jeden was dabei. Würde das Hotel definitiv weiter empfehlen und genießt Istanbul in vollen Zügen :))
