Staff service and cleanliness of the property

Clean room and comfortably bed. Great location on the water front.

Rooms around and hallways noisy till 3 am and got random call to roo at 330 noone there which ruined a night sleep.was surprised for price of room there wasnt a complementary breakfast as in other hotels

We'd come back, but will pass on the amenities

Staff were all lovely. Check in easy. Great location for downtown. Nice rooms. Loved the showers . Noise from the hallway felt like people walking by were right in the room with us. Only real disappointment was the room service. $76 for 2 breakfast after tip and they show to the door with our breakfasts in take out containers and plastic cutlery. Not exactly the indulgence we were hoping for. Food was fine, but the delivery was what you expect from highway hotel with a Denny's attached to it. In general, food on site was a let down. Step out and grab something downtown. The valet set up is a bit of a jumble. Though the hotel was pretty full, so to be expected.

Great location , clean rooms and comfortable beds

The place is beautifully but pool was closed due to renovations which we didnt known until we got here

Had a great time, pool was under maintenance, but that didn’t affect my stay, convenient spot and very friendly staff. Only concern was very small parking garage for my lifted truck, there was only about 1 and 1/2 inches of clearance from the top of the garage, so if your vehicle is on the taller side you definitely won’t fit!

Marriott Harbourfront is always my hotel of choice when staying in Halifax. Love that it is right on the boardwalk and close to everything!

Great view. Staff are excellent.

Nowhere to park for our pickup truck as it’s “oversized”. It’s a regular truck, but will not fit in the parkade and there is no space to park so we had to park many blocks away.

No microwave in the room

We were looking forward to staying here since we stayed in the past and it was lovely. The entire purpose of this trip was to enjoy the pool with the kids. Upon arrival they informed us that many amenities wouldn’t be available during our stay, including the pool. This was a huge disappointment and we scrambled to find another place to stay. The staff was understanding and provided a full refund which was appreciated. It would have been helpful to know the pool would be closed for our stay during the booking process. Hopefully more effort will be made to warn guests prior to booking or arrival at the very least.

Wife’s birthday asked for nice room got 3rd floor view of a derilict restaurant not what I expected. Parking cost as a guest was ridiculous

Great stay. Fitness centre great and opened 24 hrs. The only unfortunate thing was the pool was closed due to construction

great location amazing service

Room was spacious, clean and bed was extremely comfortable. Shower had good water pressure. Front desk staff were quick and efficient both when checking in and when calling. We stayed for 2 nights and was asked if we needed anything restocked after the first night. Overall great experience!

Overall it's a pleasant hotel, and we've stayed there a few times because it's very close to the Casino. However, it surprises me that they supply most toiletries (including makeup remover wipes) but not shower caps. Also there are no hooks in the bathroom, which is not convenient. (And don't even get me started on the silly design of the sliding bathroom entrance door -- which is identical in all the rooms we've stayed in -- which I hurt my fingers on at least once each time we stay at the hotel because the recessed handle goes partway into the wall when you open the door.)

Beautiful hotel, friendly staff efficient check in.

Room heating/cooling system was set to 16C but room temperature was actually 23C. It was an awful night sleep in that heat.

Great location in downtown Halifax... close to everything. Rooms were large and clean, staff was friendly and helpful and our experience was wonderful. Will definitely stay there on our next visit.

Halifax cocktail festival

We came for the Halifax cocktail festival and this was a great venue for it .

Cheaper out on the small things. Tried to get a bottle of pop but they only had cans. Cheaping out to save a few pennies

Staff at reception were terrific. However our room was very noisy at night. We also werent facing the harbour in our harbour view room. Instead we faced a building where there was a party directly across from our room meaning we had zero privacy unless drapes were closed. Would not recommend this hotel.

Fabulous Location

A fabulous hotel in an amazing location!

Client service was excellent, we had a room that overlooked the harbour and the various ships. Restaurant staff were courteous and attentive and the food was delicious.

My issue is that I made a reservation with harbour view and we did not get it.

Such a wonderful place to stay with the friendliest staff. It was beautiful and convenient to be on the harbour.

The Marriott Harbourfront was superb. Great location right on the boardwalk, the staff were great and nothing was too much trouble. It was my wife’s birthday and she got a fantastic gift basket. The coffee from the place in the lobby was very good and the food in the restaurant was very very good. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Perfect location

Great location on the water. Walked along the boadwalk which is next to the hotel. Easy walk to the museums and restaurants Friendly people. The ferry across to Dartmouth was on the boardwalk. I highly recommend this hotel

Amazing hotel, couldn’t fault any of it. Lovely bed and spotlessly clean room. Great amenities and location on the Halifax waterfront. Very walkable to all attractions. Didn’t eat in hotel so cannot comment on food, but it looked good!

Ideally situated for us. Access to the waterfront was terrific as well as the myriad of local restaurants within walking distance. Housekeeping staff looking after us were exceptional; would definitely return to this property.

This is the perfect hotel stay in Halifax! It’s a beautiful hotel with large rooms, comfortable beds and an exquisite shower! The staff was amazing, check in and out was easy and the location couldn’t be beat. We’d definitely stay here again.

This hotel would improve a lot if they used their wonderful waterfront location for the public areas. There is nowhere to eat, sit, drink etc. other than in dark depressing spaces. Great shame but they need a better interior designer.

room was pricey 500.00 a night with taxes and fees. convenient to the harbor walk. the room was ok. clean. beds were comfortable. the bathroom needs a remodel no one needs a bathtub anymore and there was no exhaust fan. basically my wife and I said “meh” when we walked in
