Beautiful building and apartment. I like the big windows. Comfortable bed and great television! I enjoyed my stay at the apartment.

The location is the selling point, walkable everywhere. Rooms are big and clean, the beds are fairly comfy and its quiet for sleeping. Outside shared terrace is good. But there a few small niggles.....no fridge in the room, no spare plugs for gadgets etc (you have to unplug the aircon or TV) no shower gels. Just basic stuff these days. However, the main thing is that it implies there is nearby free parking.........there isn't, and its an expensive place to park. Just beware if you take a car for a few days.

I really enjoyed my stay. The guesthouse was excellent value, comfortable and welcoming and a convenient location.

A Hidden Treasure

There was a blip with my booking as never received the call from the owner to check if I was still to be coming and my credit card had been updated since I first booked so he thought I was a time waster. However, when I arrived on his doorstep, we soon resolved the issue and I was able to stay (but just for one night). He could not book a taxi in advance for me for the following morning so was so obliging that he said, if I went outside in the morning and runs his front door bell, he would know it was me and would order a taxi immediately. That is what I consider brilliant service and would recommend the Guest Rooms to anyone who loves older property, with character (and can manage the stairs).

Decent no frills accommodation

This is a decent budget accommodation. It’s not luxurious, but it is clean and functional and the staff are helpful and friendly. Rooms are reasonably spacious, the wifi signal is good and it’s centrally located so it’s an easy walk to both the bus station and the centre of town. Bathrooms are basic and while they have showers, there are no cubicles so water goes everywhere. Breakfast isn’t available, but there is a common kettle and microwave. I would choose to stay there again.

A nice affordable place

A very nice place to stay. Definitely a guest house, not a hotel/hostel or anything like that. There's a fridge to use and some plates, etc. but no sink to wash up in. The room was comfortable and the bathroom was ok. Our room had a balcony and there's a larger communal balcony that can be used as well. The owner is very friendly and had lots of information about the local area. A short walk to one of the large parks in the city and then on to the main pedestrianised area and the old town.

Loved it great price and just what we wanted

Absolutely brilliant. Just what we wanted, large room with a balcony that was spotlessly clean. Place to make a cup of coffee and the opportunity to get our clothes washed.

Anazing house

Affordable, close to transportation, not to sites

I actually booked this lodging by mistake, and walked from the bus station 40 min uphill to the old town, went to where I thought I had a reservation. They looked at my Expedia written reservation, and said, no, that it was at another place, similar name, down by the bus station! So back down I went. This was was basic but comfortable, very affordable, and easily accessible to train and bus stations. I walked up several nice wide flights of stairs to my room. Great value for the low price! Few eating options nearby though.

Great staff and clean room.

Although Bulgarians were all smiley and friendly, a male staff in this guest house was the best I've ever encountered. He was super friendly and helpful and he deserved many many stars! The guest house was newley restored, so the room was clean, and it was even equipped an air conditioner.The condition of bathroom was fair with unconventional positioning of shower. Overall, nice staff and condition, definately worth of the price you pay.

Within walking distance to everything.

I visited Plovdiv to see the Roman ruins. The guest house could not have had a better location. I could, and did, walk to ruins, gardens, food, shops and the river. My room was clean and comfortable. The staff and other guests were just the correct degree of available. They left you alone until you needed them. I will definitely stay there again if I get back to Plovdiv.

Nice, quiet, convenient!

Very convenient to both bus and train stations. Very close to the old town and parks but quiet as though out of the city.

Loved I

This stay was amazing, the hotel is one street away from the park and a short walk from anything you'd want to see in the city! I loved it and had the contest room with a balcony in the center. I would definitely stay here again.

Would not book again....

Hotel was dark and dingy....first room we were almost sleeping on the bed springs....changed rooms and a little better. Worse room we have ever stayed in. Would not stay again. However, we loved Plovdiv and the location was good.

Great location and nice staff. My only minor complaint was that coffee wasn't started until 8am, which is a bit late for those of us travelling early.

The property is very cozy, the neighborhood very friendly and cozy as well surrounded by trees and nice shops and good walking distance to the center. It felt safe and the inside of the house is classic, quiet and clean. The only minus is that there was zero tolerance on our 15 minute delay of our checkout time due to packing by the owner.

Das Einchecken war etwas schwierig, weil der Eingang nicht klar als solcher zu erkennen ist. Eine Rezeption gibt es nicht. Man wird vom Eigentümer eingewiesen. Die Immeneinrichtung ist in bestem Zustand. Die Sanitäranlagen wären noch zu verbessern Súper gelegenes schönes Haus mit Zugang zu Bahnhof und Zentrum,

Prima kamer in het centrum van Plovdiv!

Schone kamers midden in het centrum van Plovdiv. De badruimte is gezamenlijk maar brandschoon en ook het personeel is zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam!

旁邊就是公園， 公園再過去就是最熱鬧的市中心， 在市中心想要購買各類的玫瑰精油產品都有， 吃的喝的很多， 距離古城也非常近， 飯店的地點位置很好， 唯一就是因為可能就是不能改建沒有電梯， 如果是住在三樓搬行李比較麻煩

An average stay

The room and common areas were tidy. But shower had barely a drip of water coming out, also it was difficult to get warm (not hot, not cold) water and the sink was the size of my palm. Shower was right next to toilet and there was nothing to wipe the floor with. Bed was creaky, but pillows good. Air-con worked. Enough space to put luggage in the room. My reservation mentioned room with a balcony, but I was not given one. I don't mind. But if you book, make sure you get a balcony if that's what you'd like. Area was ok. Close to transport and sights.

バスターミナルや駅から徒歩圏内。チェックイン・アウト時以外にもバチコヴォ僧院へのバスに乗るにも便利。旧市街の邸宅や古代劇場・モスクなどへの観光も徒歩圏内で、近くの公園を通り抜け歩行者天国の通りをまっすぐ歩けば簡単にたどり着ける。部屋にはエアコン・テレビがある。また同じフロアの共用スペースに冷蔵庫・電子レンジ・電気ポット・食器類がある。モスクのそばには大型スーパーマーケット(BILLA)があり、安価な惣菜も計り売りで売られているので、少量買って帰りホテルで電子レンジで温めて食べればコスパが良い。3種類の紅茶がいつでも無料で飲めるし、朝は無料のドリップコーヒーが用意されているのがありがたい。

Unreliable reservation and no air conditioning, do

We booked a twin room 6 months before arrival; got a confirmation but when we arrived a room with a double bed was prepared for us. The lady did not speak one word of English and some younger girl came to explain us everything. They were fully aware of the fact that we had booked a room with 2 separate beds! They said we had to sleep in the double room this night and they would give us a twin room tomorrow. We did not agree with this, as we booked 6 months in advance and had received multiple confirmations for the separate beds. We told the young lady to find a solution for the mistake that they had made. She said that the boss ‘is always like that’. Clearly somebody else also booked a twin room and 'the boss' decided to move us to the double room and give us the twin room when the other people checked out next day, hoping we would not care. Ultimately an uncomfortable folding bed was placed in the room for my daughter. We stayed in this room for 4 nights as we didn’t want to pack and unpack again next day to change rooms. The bathroom was very primitive: one tap for both the sink and the shower tube. The shower was just a showerhead next to the toilet, no curtains, no drainage. There was an air conditioning system, but no cold air came out of the system. As the rooms are under the roof it remained around 30° C the whole night. If you appreciate reliable reservations and decent working air conditioning, do not choose this hostel.

Beaucoup de charme

Très bel immeuble art déco, façade et escalier intérieur impressionnants, accès sécurisé. De beaux volumes pour la chambre, la salle de bain commune, la terrasse, le coin salon. Balcon sympa avec vue plongeante du 3ème étage.

적당한 가격에 좋은 서비스

관광 중심지와 버스 터미널의 중간 지점에 있어서 이 숙소를 선택했다. 전자레인지, 다양한 티, 커피가 구비되어 있었고, 숙소 내에 엘레베이터는 없었지만 호스트가 짐을 다 올려다 주었다. 세탁기가 있어서 세탁할 수 있어서 좋았는데 거스름돈이 없다고 세탁비용을 받지 않는 등 서비스가 굉장히 좋았다. 화장실이 딸려 있는 방을 선택했는데, 방도 넓고 깨끗했다.

現在改装中の楽しみなホテル

いわゆるペンションタイプのホテルで民家を改造して、アットホームな雰囲気。 炊事場や有料だが洗濯機も使える。 周辺の環境は余り宜しく無いが、ホテルの防犯面はしっかりしている。 駅からホテルまで10分位ですが、歩道がガタガタなので、キャリーバックは少々辛い。 喫煙所は外では無くテラスにあるのが嬉しい。 プロヴディフではホテルとせずにゲストルームズとしている宿泊場所が多いのでやや注意が必要です。

Une expérience assez neutre.

Une expérience assez neutre. L'accueil du propriétaire est très chaleureux, la maison est belle, les chambres spacieuses mais nous étions côté rue et le bruit est assez important. La SDB est irréprochable mais le petit déjeuner inexistant à part un café ou un thé. Bien pour une étape mais il y a mieux dans la ville si on reste plusieurs jours.

Достойные условия за бюджетные деньги в центре Пловдива. Отдельное спасибо персоналу за то, что нагрели номер к приезду, несмотря на то, что въезжал глубокой ночью.

Looks great, but the beds are horrible.

The hotel is pretty close to the center, which is good. The hotel looks great from the outside. But. The beds we had in the tiny room were horrible. Small and one of the two was completely worn out. The worst hotel we had in Bulgaria.

CASA CON ESCALERAS ,PERO .......SIN ASCENSOR!!!!!

La casona donde funciona esta en plena tarea de restauración,sobre todo la fachada,caños,albañiles,cemento,etc.La habitacion es discreta pero el problema es que estan hubicadas en la parte mas alta del edificio(boardilla o techo...)para llegar hasta allí no existe ascensor,por lo tanto HAY QUE SUBIR MUCHISIMOS TRAMOS DE ESCALERAS.......SE HACE COMPLICADO Y DIFICULTOSO SUBIRLAS,MAS AUN CUANDO SE LLEVAN MALETAS,ES EXTENUANTE ......NO HAY AIRE ACONDICIONADO Y EL CALOR EN VERANO EN PLOVDIV ES IMPORTANTE,NO SE PUEDE DESCANSAR .NO LO DESCARTO, PERO SI CONSIDERO QUE ES UN "ALBERGUE"PARA JOVENES ,ESTUDIANTES O VIAJEROS CON BAJO PRESUPUESTO Y MUCHAS ENERGIAS!!!!!......ESTOS DATOS DEBERIAN FIGURAR EN LOS COMENTARIOS PREVIOS A LA RESERVA EN LA PAGINA WEB DE EXPEDIA,ASI COMO SUGIEREN :CAMA DOBLE O SINGLE ,BAÑO,ETC,ES NECESARIO QUE AGREGUEN QUE SE TRATA DE UN HOSTAL,HOSPEDAJE O ALBERGUE Y QUE NO ALCANZA EL NIVEL DE HOTEL,PERO SOBRE TODO LA DIFICULTAD QUE PRESENTAN LAS ESCALERAS.POR OTRO LADO LA JOVENCITA QUE SE ENCARGA DEL CHEKC INN ES UN ENCANTO.POR FAVOR ESCUCHEN LOS COMENTARIOS DE LOS USUARIOS:CONTRIBUIRAN A MEJORAR LOS SERVICIOS QUE OFRECEN.GRACIAS
