This was an incredible stay, our first time doing half board and we weren't disappointed. Options were always varied and delicious every night. There are many facilities to use including at least 3 swimming pools. The sky restaurant is fantastic and you get some surreal views. Most importantly staff give the place a heart, they're incredibly friendly and helpful. We want to recognise Ghazi, Joyce and one half Nigerian/Jamaican guy (sorry we couldn't remember his name) and countless others we'd like to thank and applaud. We would highly recommend this stay for anyone in the future as well as us coming back to stay.

I love the inside pool (spa & wellness). The room was the best, we book a standard room but when we arrived we had the premium room and we fell more in love with the room/hotel. :)

Very nice clean and modern hotel. Junior Suite was not as described in the photos when I booked the room. Nowhere to sit other than a hard desk chair but all suites show a sofa in the room which was not the case.

Beautiful, clean and comfortable hotel. Staff were so lovely and provided us with an upgraded suite for our honeymoon with a semi-private pool. We purchased massages and they were excellent, as were the indoor spa pools. A 5-10 minute walk to the beach. We really enjoyed our stay!

Fab

Such a fabulous start at this hotel, all staff without fail are there to help, breakfast is amazing a d the spa wonderful. The seafront wasn’t for us but there are some fabulous typical Spanish restaurants in walking distance and the hotel itself has a fabulous skybar restaurant whereby we paid €26 to eat there. Whilst the promenade was not our gig, we would definitely return to this hotel without hesitation.

Great hotel

Overall a great stay. Room was better than I expected, great value for the money. Fantastic facilities especially the large pools. Good food. Some staff are pleasant, however some let it down. Not sure if it’s because we didn’t speak any German at all. But some staff unfortunately came across as a bit rude and not pleasant to talk to. A few times this occurred at breakfast or dinner it felt almost as if they didn’t want to be there and didn’t want to serve us and quite frankly missing the basics of customer service such simply saying “Hello” and ensuring we feel welcome. A part from that everything else was great and I would return!!

Excellent all around

I really enjoyed my stay. The room was spacious, had a great balcony, great beds and a great bathroom/ shower. Not only that, but the pools were the right temperature, the gym was in good condition and the breakfasts had a variety of options. Will recommend

Great hotel, facilities are fantastic with a choice of pools. Excellent spa too. Staff are brilliant, every one of them helpful and friendly. We only had breakfast but that was amazing, a great choice of food. My only negative is a lack of restaurants and shops close to the hotel, that said, you have the beach and the cheap shops down there. We got a taxi into and back from Palma most nights.

The hotel in a nice location minutes walk from the beach and multiple restaurants. The hotel has nice facilities. Great breakfast and dinner options, I did half board. The issue I had was there was large moulding my bathroom and I asked to move rooms as I am asthmatic and it can cause serious issues, they said no and call maintenance who was shocked and let a gasp out and then proceeded to just paint over it. The air conditioning wasn’t working in my room and I had to get the reception to get it fixed again. A middle age, European server who wore glasses was so rude, she asked for what drink I wanted and as she could understand I had to repeat it the best I could so she could grasp what I was asking for, she then when over to another sever to talk poorly about me within earshot. Apart from there unfortunate event it was a good stay. I wound not come back to recommend unfortunately.

For the price range the service was not good, especially the cleaning service. They didn’t change the linen even when we asked. Didn’t replace the towels and when we asked they took 2 hours to give to us. On the last day we didn’t have cleaning service at all. I was really hoping a good experience which was not provided. Also we didn’t get to experience in dinner because the quality of the food on the breakfast didn’t reach our expectations. Overall the hotel is beautiful and the facility’s are pretty good. Hoping that this review helps you to improve.

Hotel was excellent, quiet, clean, loved the huge room with big bathroom and terrace, stayed in a Junior Prestige Suite, Staff were great, very friendly. Plenty of sunbeds and no one taking them and leaving towels out. Hotel is 5 mins walk to beach, away from the noise, its in the German quater so can be very noisy beach side by the MEGAPARK but move away from that and it gets quieter.

Pretty basic, room smelt stale, surrounding area isn’t the best and the beach was fairly grim. Reasonable value and close to the airport.

Excellent experience. Lovely staff and great facilities. Main hotel and communal areas are great, but some rooms could do with a small amount of maintenance, some missing grout around tiles on the terrace and a loose tap in the bathroom. Otherwise first class.

Relaxed Serenity

The hotel and it's environment was just perfect and enjoyable.

This property was beautiful. Very nice staff and the Turkish baths were insanely relaxing and enjoyable. Palma is a short drive and there is a grocery store on the corner making it convenient if you forgot to pack anything. We loved our stay here and would absolutely come back.

Lovely hotel

Stayed here for one night as I thought it was quite close to the airport after being at a wedding near Soller. Wish we had been staying longer the hotel was so good! Great pool and the spa looked amazing. Dinner at night excellent as was breakfast.

This accommodation was very clean and safe place. Only one staff(reception) was a bit rude, because she didn't try to help us. But all staff (except this staff) was very very kind to the reception, bar and restaurant. Highly recommend this place!!!

Very very nice short stay at this hotel. Extremely satisfied with the experience. A couple of very small areas for improvement. 1. More readily available and clearer information in rooms about facilities and pool opening times. 2. Some staff would immediately presume we were German and greet us in the German language. A Spanish greeting would be more appropriate. Lovely hotel and a special mention for lifeguard Tony who should get an instant pay increase for being the most friendly welcoming and helpful person we came across. What an incredible asset to the hotel he is.

The hotel was lovely , staff were generally friendly & helpful . However it was annoying that tea & coffee in room was not replenished, even upon request and it was hard to get a big bottle of water. The food was generally very good with lots of choice, but the meat and fish tended to be overcooked and veggie options were disappointing. The Spa was lovely with a big indoor pool. This hotel is not really in Palma , it’s really in Arenal , which is party town for 1000s of inebriated German youth. Walking to the beach was very unpleasant due to this and the noise of them very noticeable, especially when dining in the lovely Sky restaurant in the hotel .

Surprisingly amazing at an affordable price

I just chose a hotel on our last day at the island that’s close to the airport but still in Palma. We stayed in Alcudia for a week prior to checking in Grupotel.I was surprised the hotel has a lot more than I expected - free parking, free breakfast (which was delicious with all kinds of choices), amazing spa and wellness center, very clean room and hotel and the staff are all friendly and helpful. I chose the cheapest room but was surprised to find our room had a living room, a small kitchen and all the amenities I need - tea maker, pots and complete with plates and silvers. And what a comfortable bed! Not to mention the big marble bathroom! All at a very affordable price! I just love it! Will definitely come back.

Relaxing atmosphere

Enjoyed our stay very much. Very well run hotel, clean, relaxed atmosphere, everything is big. Room, bed, balcony, pools. Only niggle would be the hot drinks in the morning, not self service and sometimes took too long to order and being brought to the table. Would definitely recommend and hope to be back soon.

Everything about this hotel was amazing except for the dinner service at the sky restaurant. The options were not that good, and the waitresses were very rude and seemed impatient and bothered when we asked for help. This was very upsetting considering we payed €90 for two adults and a small child. My advice if staying here is to eat breakfast at the hotel, but avoid paying for the dinner when you can get better food and better service within walking distance.

The Breakfast was nice good and parking was on the street. We were first put into a room above the SPA and it was about 90 Degrees F. We drop off the bags and turn on the A/C thinking that the room would cool off in a few minutes. Only to find out the A/C was blowing off hot air from the SPA. After complaining and reaching out to a supervisor we were able to get a room relocated to a different building. I would not recommend the rooms above the SPA.

Superb, relaxing hotel

Superb hotel, very comfortable, spacious room, good shower, excellent service and breakfast. Much better than any other 4-star hotels I stayed in Mallorca (though I only stayed in this one in Palma - where there are more options). Location is good if you have a car (though I didn’t check the local beach, only used it to stay overnight). It’s located relatively close to the airport (8’ by car) and about 15’ to Palma.

Lovely hotel with great facilities

Great hotel and location. Breakfast was amazing. Service was fantastic, however, room cleaning wasn't great, they didn't change the sheets and they took away the robes and never replaced them! Loads of German tourists though... Room view was facing the road and was a bit dark but they accommodated a late check out

Great resort

Great resort style hotel with beautiful furnishings. It felt however as if it was a resort that no one left to experience the local area with everyone staying around the pool and bar all day. It was ok for us as we mainly were catching up on things we could not do at our previous location on another part of the island. The restaurant was good and had a variety of offerings, but not inspired. The staff truly made it special though and always had smiles and positive feelings for everyone. I really enjoyed the personalities of the head waiters, truly wonderful people. The bed was very comfortable and the room nicely appointed. The only negative was that it was a balcony above the bar and so smoke from cigarettes would come in frequently. WiFi was good in the rooms and the rest of the property. Decent speed and signal.

They could do with tea and coffee in the rooms. Cleaners need to wash glasses used in the room and change shower gel daily. Excellent staff who are really friendly

Pool area lovely, staff friendly. Room was in new part, upgraded our suite on arrival...it was a fab room, very large as was the bathroom. Good breakfast.

Lovely hotel in quiet area

Really is a lovely hotel with first class facilities. Food excellent. Unfortunately our room was very dark and shadowed by the neighbouring building work. It got no sun or light all day and was therefore a little gloomy. On a couple of occasions staff could have been more friendly. Spa is great though but beware some people were wandering around in the nude.

Great hotel worth a visit

Our stay in Grupotel Playa de Palma suites and spa was amazing. hotel was lovely rooms very clean and breakfast great with lots of choice. The outdoor pool was large with plenty of sun loungers. We made great use of the spa several times a day and all the staff were friendly and extremely helpful. It is only a 10 min walk to the beach and promenade which had a large selection of restaurants and shops. The area was very much geared for German tourists but this did not affect our stay in any way as there was a good selection of restaurants to cater for all tastes. Also only 15 mins from airport and 30 mins bus journey into Palma. Highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

Calm hotel amidst the busy tourist area

We stayed in Grupotel Playa de Palma for 4 nights. We had a great time there. We actually just stayed in the hotel for 2 days - they have everything you need for a time away from everything. Large pool that wasn't too busy, a spa with an indoor pool, etc, "treatments" - we had the full body "Orange" relaxing massage, nice buffet breakfast, and a buffet dinner. The room was spacious enough and we had a balcony overlooking the pool. It's a bit of a walk from the beach - which was full of bars catered for teenagers and young people, but there are some good restaurants around too. It's an easy bus ride to Palma and a €20 taxi ride to the airport. All in all, I enjoyed my stay here - if you want peace an quiet. The hotel bar closes a bit early but drinks are decently priced. The wifi didn't work for me - I had to use my mobile internet the whole time I was there.

The best!

We loved this hotel, quiet comfortable and very efficient and friendly staff. The rooms were a little dated but very clean & comfortable with everything you could wish for. Poolside clean with super efficient staff. Breakfast and evening dinner was faultless even with a surprise glass or two of fizz with b'fast. We hope to return yearly (which is a first for us) as it was so chilled, comfortable & relaxing. Truly loved it!!

Hotel was amazing, facilities great but the some staff were not that friendly... Hotel was full of Germans except maybe 2 couples. They would just stare at you which is uncomfortable. Wouldn't go back, couldn't relax without being stared at constantly.

North facing room overlooking a construction site

Checked into this well appointed spa hotel. They are in the process of doubling the size of the place so my room with a lovely balcony overlooked this construction site. Huge disappointment. Checked out and moved hotels. First impressions are sometimes irreversible. Facilities themselves very good. Bar and restaurant staff friendly and professional

Staff, setting and location all perfect for a couples break!

The quality generally in the hotel is very high, the staff were excellent, they were helpful, friendly and professional at all times. The breakfast is fantastic, although it’s a bit repetitive there is plenty to choose from and all high quality produce.

Tolle Hotelanlage, grosszügige Zimmer. Gratis Parkplätze und WiFi. Freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Toller Wellnessbereich, einziger Nachteil ist, dass Kinder sich dort nur von 10-12 Uhr aufhalten dürfen.

Besuch in der Nebensaison war die richtige Wahl. Saubere und große Zimmer, grosser Spa-Bereich, Einrichtung im Allgemeinen sehr gut. Sehr nettes Personal (Rezeption, Spa, Service, Reinigungskräfte). Oftmals auch deutschsprachig. Kostenlose Parkplätze vor dem Hotel. Einzig das Abendbuffet für 26,-€ p.P. lässt in der Qualität zu wünschen übrig und ist verbesserungsbedürftig.

Sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt, Wiederholung folgt.

Tolles Hotel, wenn auch die Einrichtung der Zimmer bereits etwas älter sind. Schöner Pool. Hervorragendes Frühstück. Sehr gute Lage für Ausflüge mit dem Auto - Gratisparkplätze vor dem Hotel. Wir kommen definitiv wieder.

Sauberes Hotel, durch ein Upgrade hatten wir ein riesiges Zimmer, sehr sauber. Insgesamt wirkt das Hotel unfashioned. Nachts sehr laut durch Gäste in den Gängen und Musik von draußen. Sehr sehr weite Wege vom Zimmer zur Rezeption. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Für eine Nacht würden wir wieder dort übernachten.

Wir hatten das Glück, im hinteren Teil der Anlage untergebracht gewesen zu sein. Das Essen wurde im Sky-Restaurant eingenommen. Hier war es sehr angenehm. Das letzte Frühstück nahmen wir dann im unteren Restaurant ein, da die hintere Anlage über Winter schließt. Hier war es im Verhältnis deutlich lauter und voller. Insgesamt hinterließ das Hotel aber einen hervorragenden Eindruck bei uns, trotzdem man zum Strand einige Minuten läuft.

Das Hotel ist top! Essen super, Lage toll und in den Herbstferien war es super angenehm ruhig. Was uns nicht so gut gefallen hat, war , dass der warme Pool ausschließlich Erwachsenen vorbehalten war und der sehr kalte Pool für Kinder und Erwachsene.

Kjekt hotell med hyggelig personale

Fint hotell med fine bassengområder. Greie rom, mye bråk fra varmepumper o.l. hele døgnet. Hyggelige ansatte. Veldig god mat i bassengbaren. Hotellet ligger i et område med bare tyske utesteder og restauranter.

Ein grundsätzlich gelungener Urlaub. Das Personal an der Rezeption empfanden wir als hochnäsig und abwertend. Das ist natürlich direkt nach der Ankunft kein guter Eindruck. Das restliche Personal (Bar, Restaurant, Putzfrau) war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Gäste im Hotel sind größtenteils älter. Keine Familien mit kleinen Kindern. Wir waren in den neuen Wohneinheiten und diese waren schön und alles sauber. Der Weg ist nur sehr lang bis man dann auf dem Zimmer ist. Und das geht auch nur über 2 verschiedene Fahrstühle pro Weg. Das Essen morgens war sehr gut. Geschmacklich sowie von Auswahl und Qualität. Abends war es ebenfalls sehr reichhaltig und qualitativ hochwertig. Man könnte lediglich etwas mehr würzen für meinen Geschmack. Für ruhige Urlauber ist das Hotel auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen. Für jemand der Action im Hotel haben will, ist es auf jeden Fall das falsche Hotel.

The hotel was good but big and massive. Limited floor plans to reach the room in a maze of corridors with several elevators. Searched for a long time for the room: no service with luggage to reach it. Corridors draughty. No good information in the rooms where the different parts were located. Limited possibilities for smokers. Snacks were only available in a limited area on the windy corner. You could not take these to the smoking area, you were not allowed to eat there. My daughter got seriously ill, no opti4esw to extend the room. Layed on a couch in the hallway for 3 hours. Doctor had to give injections in this draughty hallway.... Room was fine, but no overview during our stay for the rest in this hotel. You really need a car here. Breakfast next to skybar, noisy, overcrowded with waiters who ran up and down and had no overview. I finally got coffee at the end of my breakfast.

Leider zu wenig Personal im Service. Dadurch wird das vorhandene Personal teilweise überfordertund verschlissen. Schade. Bei mehr Personal auch dort 5 Punkte.

Eine hervorragende Unterkunft. Kurze Wege zum Bierkönig und Megapark. Das Hotel ist etwas gehobener und deswegen nicht für Saufgelage vor Ort geeignet. Aber der beste Kontrast zu den Saufhotels. Gepflegt am Strand einen heben und dann in ein perfektes Hotel zurückkommen.

Kein Wasserspender in der Sauna, schade. Ansonsten war es sehr schön

Ruhige Hotelanlage, mit gutem Spa-Angebot.

Sehr schöne Zimmer, großzügige Anlage mit großen Pools. Trotz Vollbelegung des Hotels, war es nicht überlaufen. Schade, dass der Pool um 18 Uhr, der Spa-Bereich um 20 Uhr sowie die Bars schon um 22 Uhr geschlossen wurden.

Wir waren sehr begeister von der Unterkunft, unser Zimmer war sehr geräumig. Absoultes , dass wir 2 Zimmer hatten und das Schlafzimmer somit ruhig und weg vom Flur gelegen hat. Wir haben jede Nacht gut geschlafen? 2 Nächte sogar mit offenen Fenster und das obwohl ist sehr empfindlich bin. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Allt var toppen, frukosten var riktigt bra, det var bra kvalite på maten. Städning va mycket bra, rummet städades varje dag, alla ytor i hotellet var väldigt rena, sängarna och kuddarna var väldigt sköna, personalen var väldigt trevliga särskilt kocken Pepe som tillagade frukosten som va superduktig och lagade riktigt goda omeletter. Hotellet riktigt fin Spa anläggning och mycket fina och tena Pooler. Poolen uppe i skybaren rekomenderas verkligen, väldgit avslappnande. Kommer bo på det här hotellet igen utan tvekan. Enda dåliga är att vi fick dålig info om hotellet i receptionen.

Sehr schönes, ruhiges Hotel ohne viele Kinder. Kommen gerne wieder.
