Over all it was a pleasant experience. However. for just 2 small loads of laundry we were charged $111.50 USD which is absolutely ridiculous! Also there were communication challenges with some of the resort staff who understood very little English; the power in our room flickered off and on several times for the first couple of days and the AC in the room was not cool enough
I had 2 rooms and had to switch one of the rooms since bathroom was leaking and couldn’t use it. New room AC was very noisy. I had a handicapped person and to get into the shower tub for a shower was a nightmare. Need to accommodate disabled guests. I also asked for a connected room but did not get that. Both the rooms were not disabled friendly. Food options were terrible for vegetarian and vegan folks. Often times I did not know which one was without meat and sea food.No transportation was available for disabled.
My kids liked the kids club. Nice evening shows. Needs some renovation
It was absolutely amazing. The resort is wonderful, the service was great, the room is very comfortable, the food is delicious and the bars have many drink options.

is a nice place most of the staff was nice and friendly, the buffet was good if you went right after they open other wise it would be messy, they need to clean more often, if you ask an employee for information about the items they did not to know. you had to tip them to get good service even though the tips are included on the price of the rooms. I would rate this place average compare to other all inclusive resorts I have visited
Amazing location, Expedia Correspondent Mr. Jose Ramon was so helpful and able to get everything including restaurants and excursions arranged along with 2 rooms right beside each other. I will return and Mr. Jose Ramon had a big part to play in it.

What we liked was everyone as far staff was Professional Courteous Helpful & Friendly. All the food was delicious. Our Resort was Great clean they had EVERY & ANYTHING YOU WANTED. WE WILL DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THE GRAND PALLADIUM PUNTA CANA RESORT & SPA. WE DEFINITELY COMING BACK. THANK YOU DOMINICAN REPUBLIC/FAMILY.

I didn't like that my room AC wasn't working the night I arrived . I immediately when to the front desk to report it and it wasn't taken care until the next day around 8:00 pm. also in the front desk a lady name Nuris was so rude that I have to ask for her supervisor.

The staff at the resort were absolutely amazing, made us feel like family and we didn’t want to say goodbye. This was our first trip outside of Canada and we will be returning as soon as we can.

I was robbed in the room by the clean lady she stole $900 dollars from my pocketbook the safe said that I had to enter a 4 digit code and at the end I was 6 numbers I was in room 7407 it was reported and the hotel didn’t do anything they ruined my vacation I told them to show me the video from the camera and they didn’t I did a report and didn’t do anything to help at all

The gardens are really beautiful and well kept. Service by waiters, bartenders, housekeeping was exceptional. Swimming pools are nice. Adults only has a nice vibe. Beach is gr8 for walks. Some sargassum but the water was enjoyable. What I did not like at all was the constant approach of travel club guys to sell upgrades and memberships. Annoying to say the least. Everyday. That is one of the main reasons we are doubting to return to this resort. Restaurants were ok. Buffet was good. Many many options. Rooms could use some more love and public bathrooms really need to be dealt with. Most have broken parts, don't work well, loose tiles etc. Nightly entertainment was ok. Was expecting little bands however none during our stay. Some amateur dj's and shows. It was a nice stay.

I stayed at the Grand Palladium for 4 nights in July 24’. Overall my experience was great, however of the 15 parties in my group several had complaints of malfunctioning AC units that were not repaired after repeated requests. Some complained of not having their mini bars restocked until day 2 of their stay. Shuttle service between several locations at the resort were long wait at times depending on peak hours of the day. The property is cleaned well and is pristine and for the most part staff is polite. Several women in the group did not feel the same level of hospitality from the female staff which did leave a somewhat bitter taste in their mouths.

i would give this a 0 star this hotel was beyond humid from the lobby to the smell of the rooms…front lobby staff was horrible…i would give Walter a 5 star at front lobby for helping me with the many situations from day of arrive, however managers were difficult and did not seem to care the overall food sucked and everything was limited …worst part is me being of a spanish culture the staff treats you poorly if you not light blue eyes and blond …👎👎👎

This was the worse experience I have had and I have traveled to DR multiple times this year. My first room had power issues. They moved me to another room. We returned from the store to find ants all over the desk and in our food that was in bags. Ants were on the walls and ceiling and bed. We had bites. Housekeeping had to come and spray repellent while we were there. Mold on wall, son sneezed entire visit. Phone, tv stopped working. No hot water in room for 4 days. We showered in cold water!!! Power went out in 2nd room. Food was not good at all. Will not recommend although staff tried to contact me daily due to so many issues. Waste of my hard earned money there! Never again
Staff members are rude if you don’t buy their membership they make me lost 1/2 my day try to sell this plus the room smell humidity and something bite my 2 year old so restaurant never have availability for reservations plus more
I chose the property because it looked very good in the pictures but the reality is that it is outdated and worn out. The refrigerators in both rooms did not cool. It was nearly impossible to get a decent reservation for dinner, we had to get whatever was available. We ordered room service once it was below standards. We found that most of the staff are rude and obnoxious with the exception of the entertainment staff and some of the waiters in the restaurants. I have stayed in cheaper places in Punta Cana where the service, amenities and rooms are 10 times better. In my opinion, it was a waste of time and money.
Very nice resort
We had a wonderful stay at Grand Palladium Punthacana. All the staff are very friendly they go above and beyond to help you!! We had our lunches at Behique restaurant, chef Jorge Tec, was so nice and extremely sweet he accommodated our dietary limitations. Big thanks to Freilin &Yahaira they were always smiling and took care of us during our lunches.
TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE! I’m not sure how you can miss the dead bugs on the floor when cleaning the room for 3 days in a row. If you’re looking for a weight loss program, this will not disappoint since I disliked all the food especially at the buffets. All the rooms have a frosted glass wall separating the bathroom from the beds so your kids can see you showering. Bites all over my back and my granddaughter’s side probably from their beds. And are you ready for the best one yet, the waiter grabbed my teenager’s phone from her and said it was rude to not eat and be on the phone. Hide your kids, hide your wife…the female workers are rude and the male workers are perverts!
The Expedia check in was nice! Amenities are great, staff is great, activities, multiple pools and swim up bars, access to private beach, room service great, restaurants yummy, and events/parties great. Rating a 4 because the checkout was a nightmare. As an Expedia VIP guest we got coupons which we used for lobster dinner and massages and this wasn’t related to the check out desk. It took 1.5 hours for them to validate the coupons and we almost missed our flights. In addition; we had to pay $45 dollars more for our airport tranaport to wait around while the staff figured it out. Very frustrating ending to a great stay. Never will stay again because of this.
When I arrived to the hotel the rooms ( 2 rooms) I rented were suppose to be junior suite poolside. They were not. The hotel said travelocity sold me false information. Travelocity sold me rooms that did nt have direct pool access. My entire family got sick vomiting and diarrhea don't know if it was the food or water. That never happened to us in DR. We've been here mutiple times. Not to the resort but to Punta Cana.
I didn't like booking through travelocity. I booked junior suite poolside ( 2 rooms). When I got to the resort they said the hotel I booked didn't have that. The resort said travelocity sold me false information.

The food was awful. The food at the buffet was cold. The best thing at lunch was hamburgers, and nd one day were so rare they couldn’t be eaten. On the beach, there were so many people trying to sell you souvenirs, it was a nuisance. The hotel workers were not friendly

The grounds on this property were immaculate! The variety of flora was stunning. The careful consideration that went into the layout and design was beautifully done. I especially loved the palm tree leaves woven into the roof of the shaded walkways that were available for those of us who preferred strolling throughout the property instead of taking one of the continuous trains that provided a quicker method of getting from one place to another. I would like to express my appreciation to the people who diligently kept the property up to and above my expectations. Just for this reason, I would wholeheartedly return.

Relaxing, fun and exciting
Customer service was terrible. Going out the country and staying on resorts are for the experience. The experience we received was very unacceptable. It’s a shame because there were 2 employees Juan and Jose who were magnificent but without them working nothing was going right. One of the two rooms we booked had no power source to charge our devices, mini fridge did not work nor did the air conditioning. Toilet seat was not installed properly causing my 73 year old grandmother - in- law to fall off the toilet. We informed the front desk of all the issues and no one ever came to the room to check things out until we decided to check out a day early. Would not recommend this property to anyone and definitely will not be coming back.
The transportation around the property was nice, although the communication between the staff and guests was just awful. We had to move rooms twice in 2 days! It took a full day of our trip to check in. our room was only cleaned 3 days. The dive shop manager screwed up 2 days of prepaid planned dives. The food was sub par (except the Teppanyaki). We will not return.
Very nice place
The rooms were not family friendly, the bathroom had a jacuzzi bathtub and a glass door that allowed visibility to anyone in the room. With my son and daughter in our trip, we had to take turns to leave the room to shower and dressing which was very uncomfortable and inconvenient.
It was really easy to book a la cart restaurants and the grounds are beautiful. The beach and pools are incredible. The room was incredibly musty smelling. So much so we were getting headaches. Our toilet seat kept falling off. Having said all that though, the lobbies and common areas were well taken care of. I’m not sure we’d come back and stay again due to the musty smell. I figure it can’t be good for the health but most other things were great if you don’t mind that.
Very nice well kept property … food and dining options are excellent, kids loved the amenities in the splash pad kids club area, staff was very friendly… only knock is the amount of sales people around the pool areas … we see them all over the beaches they are in the pools areas too..

Everybody was very kind and the food in abundance.
We went to the resort in March 2024. The resort has good amenities and activities. However there are areas where hey can definitely improve. Some of the problems we faced - Room cleaning could have been better - Room service once took 3 hour to deliver water bottles - Not many options in room's mini bar - Room service is chargable between 10 pm to 10 am (17 USD) - If your baby needs warm milk, there is only one option after 10 pm - sports bar. Depending on where your room is, it can be very far at 2 am - Room service will.not give you warm milk, they will give you a milk tetra pack - Hotel reservations become available if you show some bills - Long wait for golf cartsnand mini train to take you from one place to another

This property needs a full renovation- especially the rooms and the kids area- including the kids club. Staff only plays around and has no time for anyone- staff is either underpaid or they just don’t care for customer service- we will not recommend nor will we come to this resort. Very disappointed.

Poor service and overall experience. Paid for a king room and received 2 doubles - with no desire to try and get us into our originally reserved and paid for room. The property and staff do not care for or respect Expedia customers. We will not stay here again and don’t recommend others to stay at this property. Overall very disappointing. Select another location!
We couldn’t get a reservation for any of the restaurants do to being booked all up. The water to shower was not hot. Most of the staff couldn’t speak English.
When we arrived they gave us a room with no AC, bathroom was dirty, beds were dirty, no lighting, no hot water the entire stay. We had to keep complaining about our room before they changed it. We were told the first day we got there all of the restaurants were full and we could not book anywhere. We tried everyday and could not eat anything. The main dinning food was horrible. I would not recommend staying here.
I loved how spread out it was and having access to all three Palladium’s. The beach was just far enough away within walking distance. The beach vendors weren’t horrible or in your face. One of our rooms was fantastic, the other we needed to change.

The property, all the staff we had the pleasure of interacting with, the pools & especially the BEACH!! were all absolutely amazing! If you enjoy beautiful sunrises & long beach walks, this is the place. The resort was beautiful, very safe & all so well manicured. If you want a ‘Cruise’ like experience, but prefer beach & land, this Resort is the spot. Tips: - Book dinner reservations for your stay when you first arrive. El Dorado steakhouse was my favorite. - Hemingways for pre & post dinner drinks. - Breakfast & lunch buffets were always best when they first begin service. - Explore ALL the pools. They’re all beautiful in there own way. - Beach, beach, Beach!! - & tip the staff!! They’re all so helpful & nice. That much more when you tip. Thank you for a wonderful week!! 🌴☀️🥂
I was not happy with staff , there were times I had no water to shower. The food was ok I would not recommend this place .
I booked a Junior Suite w/ 2 double beds Poolside for 3. We got a regular room with a King bed and sofa bed. The pool was not visible from the room. It was 50 ft to the nearest pool. In front of our room was a childrens play ground where events were held early every morning. There are only 2 restaurants that do not requiere reservations. Of the 5 nights I was only able to get 2 reservations. We ate at the buffet on New Years Eve. I had to go to 4 hotels before finding the one we were registered in. They ara all Pladium. I was lucky I had a rental car. I stood in line 3 times for check in, 3 times I was told to go to another hotel. They have no central booking. The personel were atentive and very well trained. When we finally arrived at the correct hotel they tried to sell me a time share! I complained about the room and on the 3rd day the Expedia agent contacted me and offered to find us a better room if available. I thanked him and but to move our clothes was not an option.
This property and its staff were so wonderful,we are already looking up deals for 2024 same hotel and this time we’re bringing the whole family! We loved it. It was so romantic how the grounds were lit up every night ain’t really felt magical.

Horrible checkout experience. The hotel did not allow my cab to come in and made me wait for over 30 mins in the lobby. Barely got to my flight due to their random rules which allow cabs to come in and drop passengers but not pick them

The best part of my stay was my concierge Juan he was absolutely amazing with checking in on me to see if there was anything I needed and when I gave him a difficult task of getting reservations for my group of 21 he did it for not just one night but 3 night!!! Juan de Leon was the best!!

The palladium Punta Cana was phenomenal! Tons of restaurants and pools and amazing staff that made our trip great! Fernando and Sandra at the Saona pool were the best! Highly recommend. The only downside was the vendors allowed on resort property that would sell products 10 times the price in town. Walk the 5 minutes to the town near the Turquesa and go to shops with labelled prices. Would definitely come back again, great resort!
The tropical part was great. The pools and our butler Starling was fantastic. The food was not great. Service in restaurants was not good. Didn't receive the room we booked and had to pay a lot to be upgraded to a better room at TRS adults only. Almost all the restaurants we ate at were kid friendly. Property caters to spanish speaking people more than anyone else.
I didnt like adults talking loudly in the halls at 1 and 2 am when we were sleeping. Or housekeeping talking in the halls at 8am, it was loud and prevented a good sleep. I did enjoy the facility and friendliness of the staff. Juan our expedia representative was awesome and always available to help with concerns or provide best options for food etc. I would definitely return and recommend the facility to others. My daughter and I had a great time!

I would like to say thanks to Juan de León who helped us very much with the things we needed at the resort. All we had to do was text him and he would get things ready for us, like the shuttles, restaurants and all. We had a great time at the resort because of him. We really enjoyed the pool and beach! What a beautiful vacation.

The restort it very beautiful, swimming pools, gardens and beach beautiful but the rooms standard is unfortunatelly terrible, they are very dirty, we changed the room cus in first one the smell was terrible and very dirty, but the new one was not better, but I didn’t want to complain more and say it was ok but in last days then I got bites on my neck and on my arms and I think it was bedbugs :/ Overall the resort is beautiful, the service desk is nice but the room made my holidays not good. The restaurants good is not tasty, but show cooking is tasty.

We stayed this hotel with one kids and one baby. The staff were friendly and I could communicate with them smoothly because we could use whatsapp. The rooms were clean. The kids room was great. But I had to wait for 45 mins to go to my room. And the room was different from a room that I had booked. I booked junior suite garden view for two nights. The first room was deluxe room. It is smaller than junior suite room and beds are also smaller. So I asked my concierge to change to junior suite room and he said he got a new room for us. At specified time I went to the reception to get new keys, but there was not my room on their system. I had to wait 15 minutes to get my new room again. Junior suite room was great. I wanted to stay at junior suite from the first day. And I had another problem. I made dinner reservations at reception when checking in. At dinner I told staff my room number and they said my number was not on the list. It’s just my guess that my room was originally junior suite room but the room could not be cleaned by my checking in, so my room was changed but the new room number was not updated on their system. Anyway it was uncomfortable. If I had gone to junior suite room after checking in, my stay could be the best.
