Perfect for a getaway with friends

A really beautiful place to stay and perfect for a group of friends as there are separate bedrooms and cooking facilities, balconies to enjoy a glass of wine and cheese

The property has been recently renovated and had a major update. It is very comfortable and pleasant. Very happy with our stay

Perfect getaway, great service and information on arrival. Departure team were a bit off though.

Check-in was delayed, with no form of recompense offered, but otherwise the property itself was lovely. Clean, spacious, pretty surroundings and access to 2 pools, which was much valued in the hot weather. We would return again.

This is a stunningly beautiful place, everything has been perfect

Our room had 2 bathrooms both with lovely deep baths. I would have liked it even more if a bath bomb or bubble bath was provided to use with bath. A trip into town was needed for this to make best use of the bath… I’ve added it to my packing list. Would stay here again was close to wineries.

Grand Mecure Apartments The Vintage Hunter Valley, was one of the best accommodation venues, I have stayed in, including worldwide. Five-star accommodation including every aspect of decor, linen, toiletries, privacy and ambience. Regards Debbie

Overall environment is perfect for holidays

We have stayed at the grand mecure 3 bedroom apartments about 4 times now. There is a lot of space for a family to relax and enjoy. The kitchen is big and fitted out to cook different meals every night if you like. There is also a good Webber bbq on the back patio. The lounge area is very comfortable with ample seating and the dining table is big. Each room has an ensuite and there is a fourth toilet with a fully fitted laundry next door with washer and dryer. Showers are beautiful with rain shower heads. The back patio is lovely with a table to eat at and also outdoor lounge setting. The patio overlooks one of the golf greens so it feels very open and a lovely view. The beautiful kangaroos graze right in the back yard area. Such a highlight! I love them. Kangaroos are everywhere on this large estate if you’re willing to walk around looking for them. The whole place is very very quiet. Check in is easy. Staff very polite. The onsite restaurant ‘seventeen’ has great food. There are 2 pools to access. The kids love it everyday. There is a gym which is quite basic but ok. Sadly they used to have 3 treadmills and now only 1 so we all have to tag team to use it. Grounds are just stunning. Coles, dominoes, KFC, McDonald’s, chemist etc about 10 mins drive. Hunter valley we love you and keep coming back but definitely book the 3 bedroom apartment as you won’t be disappointed. It’s fantastic. Thanks grand mecure!

Nice place

Beautiful property The restaurant had great food options for adults and children. Everything we needed was in our apartment.

Our second trip to Grand Mecure Apartments in few years. Overall stay in Hunter Valley was good. Really impressed with the early check-in. Few wow factors that was missing this time were, room though was good but felt weathered. Doors with card slots weren't operating well and lock did not feel secure from inside though overall a safe place. Upgrades were declined straight away sadly and was told all booked but when walking around the place did not feel too busy or booked as restaurants and traffic was really quiet.

The property is great. All in one spot and lots to do. Nice and quiet.

It was an amazing 2 bedroom apartment that had all the comforts of home. Right in the middle of the Polkibin area it was a great place to relax in.

This is a place we regularly visit with our family. It's convenient to have amenities nearby.

Our accommodation at the Grand Mercure Apartments was new and clean, bright and spacious, furniture was in great condition. the kitchen was fully equipped. In a great location, close to restaurants, loved our stay, will definitely be booking again.

It was well presented and had plenty of on-site ammenities.

Second stay and it was as good as the first. The happy hour at the Nineteen Sports Bar was great.

The property was very clean.It was convenient and local to everything.

We have stayed at Grand Mercure The Vintage a few times now and it never disappoints, wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else in the Hunter Valley

Excellent. Booked the vintage by chance as I normally stay at the other mecure down the road.

The house is quite new and was spacious with 3 large insuites and a particular big dining table and couch.

We organised accommodation at this property for our wedding and the days leading up to. We couldn’t have asked for better accommodation. The staff were very accommodating and made everything so easy! Would easily recommend this property and will be returning in the future!

Great house for a family or group get together, golf course right at your back door. Short walk to Nineteen for happy hour and for events at Chateau Elan or a round of golf or two. Thd house was very clean and spacious and had everything you need for a great stay. A pod coffee machine would of been a great addition for our stay but not a deal breaker as was able to get takeaway coffee up thd road.

Loved our stay here - highlight of our around Oz travels. Clean, spacious, so comfortable and a home away from home. Fabulous kitchen / cooking and laundry facilities. So peaceful, two wonderful balconies to relax and lovely pool. Amazingly comfortable beds and pillows and beaut bathrooms. Great lighting and air-con systems. Loved access to local gym and larger swimming pool / spa. The restaurant ‘Nineteen’ is fantastic! Garage was a bit tight for our 4WD and roof-top tent but receptionist suggested the nearby car park - thank you! Wanted to stay longer but will definitely be back for week long stay. So much to do and see. Thank you for an incredible time!

Great property immaculately maintained and close to quite a few wineries. Nineteen restaurant has amazing ambiance and great food selection.

We had a most enjoyable stay at The Grand Mercure Apartments. The staff were outstanding, friendly, efficient and very welcoming. Our accommodation was clean, comfortable, spacious, and well equiped for longer stays if required. The area was quiet, relaxing, and well located being only minutes from the main activities in the Hunter Valley. With the addition of the new purpose built 'Nineteen' restaurant/bar/activity centre etc we thoroughly recommend The Vintage and look forward to our next visit.

Great apartment perfect for families. Generally clean although a few of the dining chairs were quite dirty. Great amenities with tennis courts pools restaurants on site.

it was great unit and i had a wonderful time. Next time i would not recommend being near the garage where the laundry is because a truck parked across the garage driveway and kept the motor running! i nearly opened the garage door just to get him to move but didnt. He finally unloaded and left so all peaceful again. It was very very quiet apart from that. thanks it was a great stay! Nineteen is a wonderful addition too! really enjoyed it.

Great space for 2 couples/groups. Loved having 2 bathrooms so we werent in each others space. Bed was comfortable enough. Had everything we needed. Would love to come back again. Plenty of parking.

The apartments were very comfortable and in a beautiful location. Well worth the money.

We got the last room available which was wheelchair access. However the tiles in the bathroom did not have good fall so the water was flooding the bathroom. We had to use towels to contain the water. I know it’s a big job but should be fixed.

Great location and facilities. Units are exceptional and the ability to join 2 units is great for extended or larger families. Restaurant Nineteen is also ideal for dining options.

Always a pleasure staying here, it’s our go-to in the Hunter. 2 bed apartments are perfect for two couples to share over a weekend, each bedroom private and quiet. Great kitchen amenities, love the open gas fireplace, always clean and tidy.

Although located in a quite and safe golfing resort you don’t have to be a golfer to enjoy the serenity available in this accommodation.
