Celebrated our 10th anniversary at a beautiful resort with wonderful people. We'll definitely do this again, no special occasion necessary.
Enjoyed our stay. Security at the pool needs to come out from behind the bar area and check that folks are following the AN rules. Even after bringing it to someones attention they did not address the issue of some not being AN.
The service was excellent
Issues with reservations…had to ask for towels numerous times and several days the bars didn’t have the top shelf liquor as advertised
From the start there was no signage telling you which of the alleys to turn down so turned around several times and the correct one really did look like a service alleyway. I was in the "presidential suite". And the whole experience could be described as underwhelming. I paid $950 a night. Mostly for the private pool. It was cold and the jets didn't work. The phone didn't work. The room service menu is very limited and does not allow for any drinks outside of breakfast hours. So they sent someone to fix the pool and they sent someone to "fix" the phone and butler brought up juice for mixers but all that meant was constant interruptions the first night. The pool stayed warm for that night only then was cold the rest of the stay. The phone never did work right. Room service is included but very limited, takes a minimum of 45 minutes, was out of several things and never once got the order correct. We left the room one night to go to dinner, for my birthday. Nothing special. No presidential service, they tried to give us a crowded table in the middle of the room, drinks were slow to come, the food was mediocre and made my fiance sick so that was the end of the birthday night fun. Not that the restaurant even knew it was my birthday. The room was clean enough but all the corners were dirty many things old and worn and in ill repair. The jets on the jacuzzi inside only worked for a short time and wouldn't start up again. The second day was constant knocks at the door

The one thing I did not like about the property and the reason I would not return is that the au naturel side does not have its own beach. The hot tub never got hot enough! But the staff are just amazing.

Beautiful resort! We had a swim out suite and it was perfect! Most of the staff were amazing, especially our butlers Condley and Roman who went over and above for us. The food overall was disappointing.

Staff was wonderful. I was greeted with a smiles and welcome beverage. Check in was swift and easy. Staff was very attentive to needs and very kind and polite. Property and rooms are extremely well maintained and are spacious and beautiful. The dining had exceptional options and the food and beverages were exceptional as well. The proptery holds many options for activities as well. I would definitely return and definitely recommend this hotel to everyone.
Our butlers were amazing. We loved the resort and the exclusivity and the privileges that this portion of the resort provided.
Great experience, friendly and very helpful staff, beautiful views, good selection of restaurants with Diamond Club. Butler service was excellent. We will definitely come back. There were some cosmetic flaws, but with the recent hurricane you have to expect some of that. The pool decking was slippery, and stairs/ramps edges were not well marked so navigation after sunset was a bit harrowing after a few drinks.
The property was beautiful but a little dated. The majority (not all) of staff was rude and not willing to " go the extra mile" as was expected at an all inclusive resort . Was told certain items not available (food and drinks) only to see others get them immediately after. Our butlers, Michelle and Condley, did provide great attention to us. Queen Dee of the Vibe team was amazing and made us feel like family.The bartender Michael was over the top with his service and kindness. Limited pool service for drinks, only 2 of our 7 day stay did we get pool side service from Shawna K, she did work hard both days to get us drinks pool side. Overall experience was subpar, and were it not for Michelle, Conley, Queen D, Michael and Shawna K the trip definitely would not have been worth the money that we spent.

The room was well maintained with the walk out pool. The view was beautiful. The putside pool area couls use some touch ups other than that no complaints.
The staff at the Grand Lido was exceptional. I was privileged to hav the butler service which added more flavor to the punch. My butlers Condely and Michelle made sure all my accommodations were met and went above and beyond. My bar server Felicia was the best as well. She provided as warm welcome and conversations to match. They are all great additions to the community as far as I’m concerned. They made my last minute visit well worth the experience. The property in itself was definitely an added bonus.
Privacy was the key and the resort pulled it off. Me and my wife were allowed to be free without being uncomfortable. Staff was very friendly and respectful. Our butlers Conley and Michell were so helpful to assist as needed. One thing we took back from Jamaica was Respect man..
Amazing stay
The Grand Lido was nice. Pool has missing tiles that need replacing. Patio screen is too loose. Room service was the worst! Order never right. Order never confirmed as they were overwhelmed. Food takes too long too receive. More food options are needed for room service and restaurants. NO MORE INSTANT POTATOES!! Bartenders are not great at making drinks. They need training bad! Grand Lido staff were amazing! I will try again. I hope this review finds its way to actions. Food and drinks are important! Need to spray for bugs with a higher potency. Hard to eat with little bugs landing in your drinks and food! I know its Jamaica, but Ive been before and didn't have this bug problem. New white towels are needed. Towels are beige and yellowish. Hunters steakhouse was my favorite. Ate there 2 nights in a row.
Beautiful resort but need a night life
My husband and I enjoyed our honeymoon here. It was absolutely wonderful! Relaxing, beautiful views, and delicious food. We had an amazing butler, Michelle, who went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. We will definitely be returning in the future.
It’s a beautiful place to relax and be away from everything and everyone even thou there’s many activities thru out the resort the staff was amazing our butler Michell was incredible we will be back
Staff at Grand Lido (Royalton) has been si accommodating and exceptionally nice
We stayed at the Au natural adult only side. Even though the property shares space with the Hideaway and the Royalton (for kids) it was still a quiet stay. We like the fact we could be natural and have quiet time. Our butler Leshan wad perfect! Made our food reservations. Hunters steakhouse is the absolute best! The breakfast buffet is good. Staff friendly and check in was smooth. We will be back!
Beautiful property, but unfortunately not nearly worth the price. I was disappointed with the lack of information on which amenities are available through which resort, not realizing that most everything listed is on the Royalton side. I was really excited about the restaurant variety, however only 3-5 of these are open per meal and they require reservations. I was unable to get a reservation past 7 the entire visit. The food was also unbelievably terrible, even worse than most sub-par resort food. I also wasn't really interested in receiving the butlers service, however they were very pushy and intrusive about being available. They add you on a whatsapp group upon arrival, which is heavily utilized. I understand they are trying to do their job well, however it was clear that I wasn't interested in any services and they were very persistent on checking in, asking where I was and when I would be back, etc. Even if I didn't answer, there would still be follow up messages until I replied. I was definitely not interested in having someone to report to, and the expected structure kind of defeats what I feel is one of the highlights of all inclusive. All around the amenities are very overstated. The gym is really just a weightlifting room with a few machines the fitness class room. Low quality liquor, plus very little options for wine. The crowd was also not what I was looking for - overwhelmingly Americans, the same scene you would see at a resort in Florida or Alabama.
Loved the staff. Simon is the best !! What I didn’t appreciate was people in the swim up rooms being allowed outside with bathing suits on !! That is no different than them staying at the hideaway ! We are sitting in lounge chairs about 5 feet from them and they have clothes on watching everyone. If Grand Lido is advertised as a nude resort then I believe everyone outside their room should be nude ! This was very uncomfortable to myself and others. When I questioned my butler and front desk clerk I was told them didn’t have to be nude. You may contact me if you have any questions.

We really enjoyed our overall stay. The staff was amazing. A special shout to Conely he was the absolute best! Some of the food could have been better but overall it was amazing.
Peaches was the best at the au natural pool and whoever was on the grill their was spectacular. Also Lady Tenay from the Vibe team. Restaurant staff could have been better but overall an amazing trip
This resort was more magnificent, then when I stayed at the Conrad when I went to Bora Bora. The only “con” I have, they could offer more Jamaican dishes so that folk can truly experience the Jamaican culture.

Fairly small nude area and part of a large hotel complex where most meals were taken. Main restaurant drink service poor at lunchtime. Facilities good, very friendly staff. Scenic setting and a marvellous suite. Will return next year
Grand lido was over all a really nice stay. Unfortunately there were a few minor inconveniences during our stay. Room service was terrible, items were often out or forgotten, food arrived cold. The movies on our TV also did not work throughout our entire stay. Aside from these couple issues, I would recommend.

An unfortunate room leak and slow resolution set the tone of our 5 day stay. Assigned two butlers who were helpful at times but busy with other guests. Raining when we arrived so no tour of property with needed information on facility and options. Ocean Pt restaurant on site was great. Property connected to two sister properties with full access to all other restaurants including buffet.

This property over exceeded our expectations. We loved everything about it. Some food were a hit or miss. The excursions & daily special events were awesome. There was always something to do. Our room was immaculate (huge bed, double shower heads, big jetted tub, mini bar was stocked everyday, swim up pool leading to an infinity pool. A jerk hut & bar was near. The beach was extremely close as well. We were on the nude side so it was different but afterwards was very comfortable. Our butler was A1 amazing he helped with any and everything we needed. Definitely enjoyed our time.
View was amazing staff and service was amazing. Delicious food and wonderful drinks. Definitely coming back.

Amazing view, staff was excellent including the butler service that I was not aware of, actually made the vacation so much smoother. The best part was having access to the two other properties and their pools beaches. It’s a little bit of a walk from the restaurants and main attractions but not such a big deal. Will def return
Grand Lido Braca Negril resort was everything I expected. My Suite was awesome, Huge. I stayed for 5 nights. Anna Marie cleaned my room daily and took so much care and pride in her work and attention to detail. Nightly turn down was excellent The room had quite a musty mildew smile that lingered for days. The air conditioner stayed very cold and everything on the room worked perfectly! My check in and check out and daily interaction with all 3 ladies was very good though during check in they neglected to mention diamond guest have 1 hour access to hydrotherapy pool, sauna and hot tub with reservations per availability. I happen to look in the check in papers and saw it on day 4. The Culinary experience was good, but the room was hot and muggy and the wines used for the 7 courses was very cheap and the steak alleged to be filet mIgnon was not even close and we all asked for medium they all cooked well. The young boy was not a chef at all only a line cook if that. The nightly theme entertainment if they happen where boring. The Michael Jackson show was the best I had ever seen all the dancers, lightning and custom’s were excellent, the night beach party was awesome too. Booking excursions in hotel was good except they leave a lot of detail about Chuka out which costed extra $25. All restaurants very good. My Butler Conley was very good and complimenting. The property is showing it’s age but I would highly recommend!

Super friendly stay
The property was super clean and sanitized regularly. The staff were always welcoming and inviting. The weather was amazing in the month of November. Our butlers, Ricky and Condey were very attentive throughout our stay. The entertainment lineup each night were pretty entertaining. I think our favorite was the Silent Party. I’d like to highlight that the property offered free COVID-19 testing prior to departure, which was mandatory at the time. My ONLY complaint is about room service. It takes a really long time to arrive to the room. More than usually arrived cold. Lastly, the options could be better. However, I think about Jamaica, this property and staff quite frequently.
I just can’t say enough about this resort. Absolutely gorgeous, the food is impeccable, the staff is absolutely wonderful. Shout out to Betina she is great she made sure we had everything we needed. I cannot wait to come back to this resort.

You get the sun in the afternoon. You can also catch the sun in the morning on the east side using a cabana. Very beautiful. Service can be better. Morning crew should go around and remove all dirty dishes from the night before left around the property by the guests, rightfully so, the night before. Ordered room service twice, first time it took more than an hour, which is ok, I guess. The second time the order never came.
The suite has a beautiful view. The room was clean thought it was hard to get fresh towels and restock of the mini fridge. We had a beautiful heated pool that we could only use once out of our four days because it was not cleaned then stopped working. The restaurants were ok, I really enjoyed Calypso, food truck and jerk hut. We also had a butler who was hard to reach but was very nice.
Everything was great. A few hiccups with our butlers but nothing to impact our stay. Mistakes happen! Thank you orane and Tina, & front desk. We felt like we were home away from home. Great food & variety!

Nice resort and great people. A special shout out to Simone, Kevon, and the others that provided service to the Grand Lido pool area. Our only complaint was that they allowed people to go to the "au natural" pool with clothes on. They also had cell phones and were taking pictures of each other, and even guests that had not given permission. The instructions on their website, and on the sheet they gave us at check-in, were very explicit and clear that this behavior was not "ok", yet the first day we we're there we faced both. But, the resort did begin to enforce their rules, and things were ok after that.
The people really make this place! Mr. Ricky G, Orane, and Anna are the main reason I’m already booking my trip for next year. Came here to celebrate my birthday and they made sure I had the time of my life.
