Nice Hotel

Very nice, great staff

Wonderful, central location, great facilities

I had a great experience during my stay in Hyatt Amman, every service is impeccable including security, reception, my room was perfect every day and of course, food in the restaurants. My special thanks to Odai Issa at front desk for his advices and support. Also many thanks Mr Essam, house keeping, my room was wonderful every day. Hope to come back soon!

Polite and helpful staff

Best place to stay in jordan , staff are very friendly and helpful , room cleaning was top nothch and bedroom and sleep was perfect.

I stayed here for 4 nights. Room was nice, bed was comfortable. There were only 2 channels in English and neither had good content so I used my laptop to watch YouTube. Breakfast was good, variety of food and attentive staff. Sameers team were great. Reception staff were very helpful also. Had an issue with one of the staff members in the gym but this was quickly resolved by the hotel. They definitely pay attention to customer service.

From the moment I checked in to the moment I checked out. I stayed three days at this property and had a fantastic experience. If there any negative reviews, I cannot imagine why however, everybody’s experience is their own individual experience. I not only enjoyed a delicious breakfast buffet, but every staff member made sure I was comfortable as I was traveling alone. If you’re looking to work out, enjoy very private women’s locker room that has its own whirl, pool, dry and wet sauna and showers. This is the place to be. I also enjoyed the Turkish bath and had a Dead Sea mud wrap a few days later before I left. Exceptional. It was great great experience thank you again Grand Hyatt. I will see you again.

The property in good place not far from city center and local markets. Easy to get taxi to move around.

This is a real five star hotel, very clean. High technology was services and you feel like your home. I will give it more than five star seven.

Rooms are old and definitely not worthy of a 5 star rating. I would not recommend it.

The hotel is in a central location. Easy pickup for tours. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable I can’t say much about the area since I was there for a tour and to relax. The hotel was a great place to relax

The service was exceptional, especially the front desk manager Mamduh who went extra mile to make our stay pleasant. All other services were excellent too.

I might not stay there again

To start with, no one helped me to carry my bags, instead, the security simply remind me ( carry your bags ). Check in was very slow. The receptionest was not professional in the communication. You can expect more from a 5 stars hotel staff . Very nice breakfast with a lot of tasty food to select from. The lady at eggs station was kind and professional. GYM, SPA and swimming pool was amazing. Room was good. Pillows are not comfortable. Overall. Room. Breakfast and spa were good. But check in was much below than average . In conclusion. For such price you pay. You can get much better options with better service

Disappointing for a Grand Hyatt

Very dirty, beddings and walls and walls of bathroom had a lot of stain and overall upkeep is poor, totally out of expectation given the branding and price!

Great place to stay very good service and amazing location

When we arrived in Amman we booked this hotel for 3 nights. It exceeded our expectations. It was clean, accommodating, beautiful and just relaxing. We was able to do our site seeing’s and then come back and relax /unwind. Khaled, Umar and Ahmad was exceptional. They was always so attentive and making sure we was always happy. They made the hotel a 5 star experience. Abdullah, always helped us with our luggage with a smile and super friendly. I forgot the staff names in breakfast buffet but they was ALWAYS so accommodating. Asking me for what drinks/ coffee I would like. They was easy to spot and call if I needed anything. Service was 10/10. Overall loved my experience at the grand Hyatt. I would be definitely coming back and telling all my friends and family to come and stay here. Also the Italian restaurant, the food is delicious. You have to try it. The restaurant itself of gorgeous.

We had a problem with our room when we checked in but the manager and front desk resolved it swiftly and very efficiently. They treated us great and made up for it…had a very nice stay!

Air Conditioning did NOT work well. The room was NEVER COOL. I shared with front desk but never addressed.

It was a lovely stay

OK for a bed but that's about it. The stay was nothing short of a nightmare. If you book make sure you know of restaurants in the city as we were unable to eat dinner at the hotel due to outside reservations. We chose this hotel because of the location in the city, the amenities and the dining options. This hotel was great for the first hour, it looks very grand and the front desk staff are courteous. After booking in we went to our spacious King room and bathroom, as we flown in quite late I wanted to take a shower and have dinner. The shower didn't drain well and the hotel did not resolve the issue in our 5 days there. I made my way down to the main dining room and was turned away due to bookings. I was advised that I was required to do this via the phone in my room. When calling customer services I was told that I could book for 8:30pm the following day, which I was unable to accept due to plans, or next week as they were fully booked until then. Obviously I was dissatisfied but just needed food, I then ordered room service. This was delivered by a guy who announced he was the person I spoke to in customer services. He proceeded to tell me its our fault for not making arrangements for dinner and "he could not let down people with bookings for hotel guests". We ordered room service on another occasion, delivered by the same guy, again looking to cause an argument and tell us that the dinning room issue is ours and we should have been prepared.

Enjoyed my second stay at this hotel and dining at The Lombard Italian restaurant. One repeat issue is that the hot pot did not work again for in room coffee and tea! There wasn’t even an outlet that fit for the hotpot. Second time in a row and I like to enjoy this amenity in my room.

It’s a lovely hotel situated close enough to walk to the city’s main attractions, however the outside pool was closed which was a bit disappointing.

Need to have A/C clean, with A/C running i a got soar throath. Turned off a/c and problem went away.

The toilet seat lid flops down on you while you are sitting there. We duct taped it to the wall.

Immaculate hotel. Well-equipped and well-maintained gym with a sauna, steam room, indoor and outdoor pools, spa service and nice little amenities. Great city view. The breakfast buffet was phenomenal. We absolutely enjoyed staying at the Grand Hyatt and would stay here again if we return to Amman.

Very noisy

Staying in the hotel is very noisy due to long hours of maintenance work in the rooms which is protecting my room

Great hotel with attentive staff and excellent spa. Only problem was Hotel did not collect me from the airport when I arrived in Amman and I had to purchase an Uber.

This property had a great location. Staff was excellent and exceeded expectations. Special shout out to Clemence Armbruster for her wonderful service. She was super helpful with numerous requests we had during our stay.

I like the stay and services Sometimes I did not like the way of the security check for each time we come in !! One of the security women touched my hole body and deeply while I was carrying my sleeping baby!!! And she was so harsh !!!

This was our first time staying at the Hyatt Amman. The quality of the rooms and the facility was one of the best we have seen here in Amman, very well done and maintained. I recommend getting the breakfast with your stay- many more options than comparable hotels and it was all very fresh. At the time of our stay they served breakfast until noon, which is great! The rooms were clean, beds comfortable, the bathroom had a tub and shower. The pool was not as big as other hotels but the view was amazing and it was heated. Also, cold drinking water is provided at the pool so you don’t have to keep on buying more water. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The service was great. Emad at the front desk was so helpful! Highly recommended.

Nice stay !

It was great except, nice hotel but it s a shame to have the swimming pool in the shades.

The hotel doesn’t look much like the online pictures, the rooms old and the bed is very uncomfortable.

Everything was very good.. staff were friendly, room was clean and in a very good condition. Minor thing: one of the lights in the bathroom stopped working.. I asked reception people to fix it 2 times and was not done.

Its excellent experience

It is a quite place abs accessible to all city center area. It is 30m walk to the oldest place in town .

For a Jordanian who has never lived locally and with no local relatives too, the Grand Hyatt Team definitely made us feel at home. From check-in to check-out, the service was immaculate. To the Reception Team, the Restaurant Teams at the Lounge and Lombard, Security and Bellmen, THANK YOU very much for your hospitality and for constantly checking in on us. Every single staff member we came in contact with was very helpful and accommodating. In terms of the Facility, Food and Services, a 5 Star hotel indeed. I'd like to thank the entire Team at the Grand Hyatt for making our visit a memorable one! We'll certainly visit again. Thank you very much!

A pleasant stay consists of thr hospitality of the the people working there...and with Ala and Diana i felt just like being home

The reception staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. It wasnt mentioned on booking that we coukdnt use the facilities such as swimming pool, as we were not double jabbed.

Good hotel but limited Club Lounge benifits

It was a nice stay but we were gone most of the 2 days of our stay. We had club rooms...2 of them...one for ourselves and one for our teenage grandson. Apparently the norm there is too allow only either 2 beer or 2 wine or 2 hard alcohol drinks for their two hour HAPPY HOUR.... So we missed the rest of the day and had a nice breakfast. We had a bar bill for Thursday night but had our drinks waived Friday night...so thanks to the hotel for that ...hopefully they update their practise to other Hyatts...and we have stayed in many

Very nice service. Front desk is extremely helpful And nice. They treated us with respect and care. The room was clean and they respected our request for privacy. We rented a car and the brought up the car almost immediately every time. I will be staying here again for sure. It was a little hard to get a hold of room service directly but front desk was always available to help. The food was good a little bit overpriced compared to the food you get outside of the hotel etc.

This is an excellent hotel in a very good location. We stayed here for 3 nights at the beginning of our trip to Jordan. The room was a good size for tourists, with a good bathroom. Excellent pools (indoor and outdoor), good breakfast (though we chose to eat-in on only one day).

The service at this property is impeccable !!! Dalia at the front desk was attentive and helpful, as well as the other staff. The breakfast was excellent as well, and all the facilities and other common areas were beautiful. Their new restaurant, the Lombard, is a must!!!!

It was nice to be in Amman during our stay. It was convenient and close toamy stores. The only thing is that being that there was a curfew imposed, ans foe the price we paid, breakfast should have been included.

Great and easy experience

Great hotel! Staff was hospitable, attentive and clearly cared about providing the best service to guests. My wife an I enjoyed our stay in this hotel, and if we ever found ourselves back in Amman this is likely the only hotel that we would stay in. The rooms were very clean and a very nice size. The spa has a wide arrays of services, a nice gm, jacuzzi, and pool. The breakfast was fantastic and the food options within the hotel are plenty and tasty.

This is my favorite hotel in Amman, best view in town!

The staff were very accommodating. We had an evening flight and were given a late checkout without any problem. They arranged transportation to the airport. The spa is excellent.

Small room compared to other Grand Hyatt’s. I think hotel assigns smaller, back/corner rooms if rooms are booked through third party sites vs their own websites. I had a club room reserved - it was small and very tight - compared to other locations. I am going to try Intercontinental next time. Heard great things about that while there. Obviously occupancy wasn’t an issue while I was there. That tells me most rooms are small. Hope this helps the next guest.

Staff were really nice on the check in and I was expecting very nice hotel room and service following the promises booking such a hotel room. I was chocked that towels were not clean with lipstick clearly visible on them. The next day my very important notes on papers I left on the desk disappeared and when I asked the reception about they agreed that the cleaning stuff through them to trash for that's their strategy and I should when leaving the room tell them not to touch my work stuff and papers. Also every single morning at 8 am or before the cleaning stuff knock the door to go out so they clean the room. I don't think people go to upscaled hotels so as they wakeup very early. Another thing that realy annoyed me is the smell of smoke I havd to stand every now and then I walk in and out my room although I asked for a non smoking room area. I travelled to so many places and was never annoyed by smoking like in Amman. I think no respect is given to non smoking community. I was also expecting a spa at the hotel though was out for renovation with no previous notice and no differentiation in prices.

All of the staff was very nice and helpful! Including front desk, food, etc.
