Great service, genuinely nice rooms. Excellent location.
Grand Hotel Palace is a wonderful experience. The staff are friendly and helpful. The location is convenient to the train station, the beautiful Borghese Gardens, Trevi Fountain, the Spanish Steps and other sites of interest to tourists. There are many restaurants, fancy and plain nearby. The hotel's restaurant is nice. Comfortable bed. Highly recommended.
Very clean. Staff are all very professional & attentive
Beautiful building. Cozy room. Very nice interior with murals in the restaurant. Complimentary spa. Friendly staff.
Perfect location and only a short walk to the major attractions,The staff were so friendly. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
Very convenient walking distance to lots of attractions and restaurants
Convenient
A beautiful hotel, about 10 minutes walk away from the Spanish Steps and easy reach to great restaurants. Thank you for the room upgrade, and the cake and champagne for my birthday. We had a wonderful stay.
Our overall stay was perfect , beautiful hotel amazing staff . While I was staying there it was my birthday they left me a birthday note in my room , chocolates. Rooms are pretty large . I highly recommend this hotel
Friendly staff. Nice room and sufficient for us to put 2 huge luggage. Location is walkable to town and there is a bus stop nearby which is convenient
The staff was great. Very friendly and attentive. The hotel was very clean. I highly recommend.
Great location. Friendly staff. Good room and balcony. Spa was good.
A room had a wonderful balcony very nice view and the staff were super helpful. Everything you would expect from a high-end hotel.
Great stay here, staff were very friendly, they couldn’t do enough for you making our stay very enjoyable.
Made two days in Rome very doable! We walked to almost every area.
Great Hotel and staff very helpful. Easy to walk to everything. Shopping and restaurants. Very close to parks. Have stayed here many times.
The staff was very friendly
high class stay in Rome
We have been to this hotel several times over the last 5 five years or so, The reception staff is very, very helpful and has great style, Needed help woth the charging of my iphone and Claudia solved the issue quickly. The service level at the restaurant is high grade and very accomodating.
It was perfect for my 3 nights in Rome
Good stay
Excellent
Property was in the perfect location for walking to many restaurants, museums and other popular attractions. Would recommend and definitely stay again.
Lovely hotel and very welcoming staff. Chose this hotel as had stayed previously and was handy for the metro stop to get connect with Termini and the express airport train.
was fine
Awesome

Super property in great location and all was perfect will always stay there in future
Great hotel
Beautiful hotel walkable to many sites. The staff was always accommodating and kind. We walked and did as many sites as possible, enjoyed returning to a room that was ready for our arrival with the turn down service and treats. We received a complimentary upgrade to a suite with a large balcony. The room was nice and spacious. Would love to stay here again.
Great views and central safe location
Quiet upscale neighborhood next to USA embassy and nice neighborhoods to explore.
Excellent service from the staff.
Voltaria com certeza
O hotel é bem localizado. Limpo , bonito e confortável. Quartos e banheiros limpos e bom tamanho. Os funcionários são educados, prestativos e bem humorados. Tudo muito bom.
The Grand Hotel
Hotel staff friendly, however housekeeping was not very attentive. Had to ask for the complimentary waters every day and our used glasses were not taking away.
We really enjoyed our stay! The staff was wonderful and our room with patio was beautiful.
Worth visit especially for the wonderful conceige
Wonderful staff, beautiful hotel thank you so much for making me feel so welcome. I feel very relaxed.
Good
Other than the musty smell throughout the hotel it was amazing.
A really great property- close to everything , restaurants especially, service was outstanding Breakfast was good, not great, beds and pillows too firm for us but high quality. Had 1 dinner , sat outside and was very good. Restaurant recommendations were both outstanding! Would stay here again!
Great Staff!
We had amazing stay and can’t wait to go back! It was our 30th Wedding Anniversary and we got a beautiful and unexpected up grade! The staff was attentive, professional and kind! Very well trained! We had a perfect little breakfast prior to our departure! The hotel is in the perfect location for the sites in Rome!
A beautiful hotel with a wonderful, helpful staff that tries to accommodate your every need. I will definitely return!
Great location. Pleasant staff!
The hotel was in a great location and staff is very friendly. We did notice that when we ate breakfast at the hotel, the staff was very unorganized and did not seem to know what they were doing. They seemed lost and overwhelmed. But overall we had a good stay.
Beautiful Room with the amazing view from our balcony. Service was very good, especially in the restaurant.
Great experience & amazing staffs
The service staff are really nice people Very helpful. The hotel rooms are so relaxing and the bed are Amassing
Best staff ever
The best about this hotel was the staff, hands down, super nice, helpful and friendly. Would go back again just to meet them again
Wonderful staff and rooms. Room upgrade and VIP gift very much appreciated.
Love the property and staff! If back in Rome, will definitely say there!
The staff was very friendly, helpful and professional. I would give the staff a10 STAR if that was possible.
The staff was so friendly to us and so helpful. My wife and I came for our honeymoon and had excellent service. Everyone was so kind to us, even with us speaking very little Italian. We will definitely stay at the Grand Hotel Palace again some day!
I didn’t like the hotel. The area was kind of dirty. A hotel is outdated .carpets in the hallways aren’t very clean. The bathroom didn’t have adequate window covering so the building across The rooms Across the alley could completely see you while you’re showering. We had to shower with the lights off. I could see in their rooms with the lights on so they could definitely see in our bathroom with our light on . the hotel is outdated and they have carpeting in the hallways. It’s really like a mishmash. It’s not very nice.
Beautiful property. The staff was great and any isdues was addressed promptly. Thank you!
I would definitely stay here again. Great breakfast options. Use of the indoor pool, depending on the room you reserve. Easy walk to Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps and shops.
Great location.
Great experience
It was fine.
Great comfortable hotel and extra friendly host.
Outstanding!
Not a true 5 star. Had to call daily to get water coffee cups Had to make reserved times to use the pool Overpriced for service received
Beautiful and great location
Lovely hotel in the center of town close to the gardens. Helpful and attentive staff.
The hotel was a five-star hotel at one time but its glory is fading... I was never offered the VIP upgrade that was supposed to be included, and the 20-minute check-in did not help.
Great classy experience
Rooms we outdated and not very clean bed sheets smelled No fridge in the room and AC didn’t work
Beautiful hotel with excellent service
Beautiful hotel with excellent service. Try the hotel’s pizza,, it was fantastic!
A true palace. First rate.
Beautiful palace/mansion with great history across from the US Embassy. The hotel staff was on it from checkin to checkout. Amazing, huge balcony overlooking tree lined street. Word of caution in summer, don’t leave balcony doors open at night because the mosquitos will love you. Sopratutto, era magnifico! 🇮🇹

Nice
It was very quiet. Room was much larger than expected, and very clean. Almost everything we wanted to experience in Rome was in walking distance, and I was really happy that we were a very short distance from bars and restaurants. It was perfect for our short stay.
This hotel is in a convenient central location but it’s a 3 star at most. No lobby, basic rooms, no real amenities to speak of.
Old hotel. Doesn’t feel like 5 star. Area around the hotel is okay. Needs quite a bit of walk. Staff is excellent. Will I stay here again? Probably not though.
Excellent and well maintained hotel, great location. Clean spacious rooms with very friendly staff
Convenient location
Good location for sites and food.
No glass or coffee cutlery, no face cloths available
Everything is nice Staff is excellent Bathroom needs shower doors or shower curtains Location is great
Outstanding hotel.
Whilst the hotel was generally very nice, we were not able to use the swimming pool which was one of the main reasons we booked the hotel. We apparently had to book which we were not told and this was very disappointing to my son in particular who has looked forward to it. Given what we paid, the fact we did not have access made it very poor value.
Lovely stay
Lovely room, amazing balcony with great views. Very friendly reception. Great breakfast.
The hotel staff were beyond amazing. Exceed our expectations. The location of this hotel perfect. Would say there again.
Close and convenient to qhat we wanted to do. Staff is amazing. Just getting older room wise. The water changed tempatures in middle of shower the whole trip. Had to jump in and out of water
This hotel is beautiful and in a perfect location for sightseeing. It’s near the Villa Borghese and right across the street from the American Embassy. But our stay was not without some problems. We booked the room well in advance of our stay but the room we were given was an “attic” room with a sloping ceiling taking up 1/3 of the space. I was exhausted from the trip and didn’t say anything until later in the stay when I had hit my head on the ceiling for the 5th time. Management was very responsive, offering a different room and a bottle of brut. Water in the shower ran hot and cold and there was no drawer space at all. Website pictures are very misleading and certainly no mention of an attic room. Had dinner one night in the dining room which was very nice. I love Rome and I’ll be back but it will be a different hotel.
First of all - don't pay extra for an 'Acropolis view'. You have to go out on your balcony to see it. Mostly you look at the strip clubs across the busy 8 lane roadway. If you do go out on the balcony it is incredibly loud with road noise. As a side note - the door to my balcony didn't seal well so the room was noisy as well. Changing rooms wasn't an option for me as the hotel was full (big American brand - lots of bookings even in the early season). The front desk did say they would check for me and get back to me later in the day. Which they didn't. You can walk to many tourist sites from the hotel - it's only about a mile down a very busy road. Sure the sidewalks are filthy and the buildings graffiti laden - but I didn't get killed so you might not either. I was however extremely careful when anywhere near the street - the cars and motorbikes go really fast and don't seem to mind giving pedestrians a scare. When housekeeping came to clean the room on day two we asked them to return later as we were napping. They said they could come back at 5. Apparently they couldn't because we never saw them again. There are lots of local restaurants in the surrounding neighborhoods. Not so much in the hotel. If you stay here with one of the many big tour groups you probably don't have a choice - so just try to enjoy it. Plan to head for the elevators early. Or get on the first one even if it is going up when you want to go down. Eventually you'll make it to the lobby. Good luck!
the location of the hotel was excellent almost center ,close to the Spanish steps and Trevi Fountain and the main shopping center .breakfast was good and we had dinner in the hotel which was excellent, all in all highly recommended.
The staff was great.
The shower water occasionally was hot then cold then hot then cold. It did not always maintain constant temperature. Other than that, it was great and right across from the American Consulate.
Very convenient getting around to the attractions in Rome. Front desk was very helpful with Restaurant recommendations. Would definitely recommend this hotel!
A good hotel with good rooms and very friendly staff however there is no atmosphere in the reception area
Great Staff Service and very nice buffet
Friendly service, great location
Hotel is walking distance to many sites and is across from the US Embassy Great location in a safe and walkable neighberhood Staff is friendly and helpful Rooms are nice and the bathrooms are modern I highly recommend this property
Booking system swimming pool horrible - should state no swimming pool - because there was nothing complementary about it. - Poor gym facilities. Extra taxes 10 euros per day per guest - why? It should be already included on the reservation fees. Your hotel is not worth because has it hides the reality.
Great location, helpful staff and rooms are perfect for a long weekend break.
We appreciated the upgraded room at no cost!
It feels like they are stuck in the past. The decor was dated, and the stained wallpaper was older than my grandparents. There was no WiFi outside of the lobby, and I had to go get a sim card just to keep connected. In this modern time, wifi should be a basic essential, especially for when you have guests travelling from all around the world. There was no kettle or iron in the room, and I had to ask for it several times. We also had to constantly ask for a restocking of coffee and tea for our room and was not filled up daily. The only redeeming factor was the location and the staff. Kevin was extremely helpful and gave us some great recommendations for restaurants around the area. Besides this, nothing else screams 5 star.
It was Okay, friendly staff. good Service But they Charged me taxes twice 10 Euros per night at the start and 10 Euros Taxes at the end what added 120Euros by the trip unannounced at the reservation.
Need to be clearer with your mini bar pricing.
The hotel was l centrally located . Walking distance from the Trevi Fountain and the Spanish Steps. The staff was friendly . There were really good restaurants within walking distance
I learned through a tour it is the street featured in the film “La Vita Dolce”. It’s also one of the most luxurious streets in Rome, very wide. Filled with great hotels. The hotel itself is spacious and very accommodating. Staff was super friendly, and very helpful with planning and organizing my stay.
Very attentive staff
We arrived at this (5*) hotel with a pre booked deluxe double room for a stay of 3 nights. On arrival we were told our room wasn’t ready yet but we could opt to upgrade to a deluxe suite for an additional €85 per night. We accepted the upgrade. The suite was strange in the sense you were greeted by a glass table with 4 chairs (nothing luxurious). As you turned into the room you were in a corridor with 2 doors on the right, the 1st door opened onto a kitchenette with some snacks that were chargeable with the minibar. 4/5 cleanliness 2nd door opened onto the bathroom which was a glass shower, simple sink,WC & a bidet on the opposite wall to the WC. 4/5 cleanliness The corridor then opened onto the bedroom which was an odd pentagon shape. A large bed on one wall, a huge suitcase looking wardrobe with dangerous sharp edges & a short air seat & an air bench at the bottom of the bed We had problems sleeping each night due to a very noisy air con unit. In the morning after using the shower we were facing a safety issue as the water had poured out of the shower, all over the bathroom floor and was now in the corridor. The shower gel dispenser in the shower was broken. The issue were not resolved after being reported each morning. The room had flaking paint. The included breakfast had an extremely poor selection for a 5* hotel, with the hot food being offered being luke warm at best. Additional€85 per night were waived on checkout but our stay there was less than satisfactory for a 5*
Great place in the centre of Roma

I like the hotel. It’s very nice. We had the superior room on the 7th floor with a small balcony overlooking the city. Great views of the Pantheon. I don’t particularly love the neighborhood though because it feels very not like Rome, lots of large boulevard. Feels more like mainstream Paris which I guess couldn’t be helped. The shower in our room was meh at best. No overhead shower. We only one small hold spray with a lose holder. Every time we turn on the shower it sprays the ceiling of the shower. The glass panel didn’t do anything to stop water so the floor including in front of the toilet and bidet ended up wet which would have been fine if not for the slippery floor that can be hazardous. Luckily only had to stay for one night before departure, otherwise would have asked for a different room. Staff is lovely. Food option is a bit more scared and the crowds are much less if you like to people watch.
