Great service and professionalism
be careful- don't book this hotel through wikipedia - we booked n payed for the deluxe room but they gave us the standard room and no refund- not right
The space was really dirty, furnitures and bathroom were falling apart. The hotel and space around was really noisy.
I made the mistake of booking on this hotel. Its dirty, bugs, flying rochas.sheets had stains. The staff n security were very nice. I couldn't change rooms, since all were booked. Sister hotel was same except no wifi. I had to leave the next morning to a different hotel.
Fantastic highly recommend
Central to town and shopping market area out front. Food was very good.
Great staff great service
Excellent and nice knowledge staff.
It is a nice setting around the pool. However the hotel has decided to open the bar and this pool area to the public, which is fine, but this area is very close to superior rooms. There were large groups sitting around the pool, drinking beer, in the evenings. I found the noise and the amount of large groups sitting around outside my room, to be quite uncomfortable. Added to this the superior room does not have glass windows. It has wooden shutters which means, even when closed, it is very hard to block the noise from pool area out. I have to say the staff were lovely. I do think the hotel needs to consider it policies in balancing the needs of guests with the opening of the bar to the public. Perhaps consider a specified area for outside guests who want to access the bar.
Very good and safe to stay everything near by shopping transport and walking distance every quiet I not need to contact any staff for my stay in the hotel
Property is in dire need for renovation; bathroom tiles are falling/missing, old tapware, chest freezer rusted. Simply, property would do well with thorough renovation.
Swimming pool open to non guests very dirty
The rooms are very dirty and simple like poos no sink to fill water in the kettles .very very dirty hotel .
Time to change mattresses and linens, too many bed bugs
Older property but enjoyed the stay there, nice staff.
Very dirty, they do not clean the restroom and rooms properly.
A bit noisy at night as they have the Family room right next to their wine and dine, otherwise it is a great Vacation facility. Overall we enjoyed our stay at this hotel.
The bathroom and toilet not in good condition, curtains dirty, Old tiles. The shower very small and slow. No microwave to heat food. Thanks
It was nice experience
convenient if you are staying for couple days. everthing was close by for food and shopping. facility needs some work. thing are kind of out dated otherwise evertning was good.
The Room was good....However...the Washroom was terrible. It badly needs a major upgrade. Not impressed .
Location, neatness,friendly staffs
Walking distance to township
For some reason whole tiles on the floor get wet through out the night
Good
Great customer service from pre check in to dining staff and from check out.
The pool was dirty and the water had a smell. Even the shower water had a smell. We ended up going to another place for shower.
Pool is welcome
The staff are lovely and helpful. The place is simply run down. Needs a good overall sprucing and major scrub. Bed is not too comfy. It is nicely located in city centre.
Liked location and they provide shuttle service to abd and fro to airport. Had cold showers hot water was not available. Advised front desk. Bar staff not friendly. Ordered meal and she said once ready restaurant staff will deliver in the bar .waited for half and hour than had to go to the restaurant to pick it myself.
Condition of the hotel is pretty appalling. Bathrooms are pathetic. Nothing has improved since my last visit 5 years back. In fact it may have become worse. Staff are super slow, and they didn’t even give towels or blankets. Had to ask multiple times. On the last day, the housekeeper was nice and finally gave us everything. Wouldn’t recommend the place but then there are no other places in the area. Hope they improve the facilities.
I came for work, so found the hotel ideal for the purpose. Bed was nice and room was clean. The food is good too. Apart from some noise from neighbors is was a good stay. Id go again.
One sentence ..,. Hotel needs upgrade
The hotel needs to be upgraded . Found cockroach by the coffee maker . The tiles in the bathroom needs changing . I booked a so called presidential suite but this room was no where near a motel 6 room. This is misleading and it should not be advertised as a presidential suite
The first night we tried to go to bed. There was a big yellow stain on the bed sheet. We call the front desk and told them what had happened. They came and changed the bed sheet. Told them about the tap on top of the sink in the washroom. There was algae under the tap. It was so grouse. The shower came out of the wall. Terrible customer service. The TV wasn't working properly too. Called the front desk and complained about the tv. One of the channels wasn't working. Nobody came to our room and tried to fix our TV.
No hot water and no water pressure shower not good
Nothing unique. Cheap grade amenities. Needs a lot of maintenance.
Standard basic property.
Needs renovation. Bathroom crap.
The property was as advertised, the general condition was ok and expected for Fiji standard, a bit tired and passable for NZ / Aus standards. The staff were really friendly. The general area was ok, I wouldn't feel safe going out after dark though.
Not recommended m
The kitchen staff was not good service we have wait for 1 and half hours for them to serve as we were only sitting down to eat the restaurant was empty even we ordered juice and water it was not serve their serve food we have to ask for spoons to eat which was given 10 minutes later i did complain to front desk so no good experiences. The last order said 9.30pm but the kitchen stove was closed at 7.45 pm which we told that their cant cook .out side te room people make noise up to 10pm drinking and using fouls languages we went with family which is not good to listen .
The property has no WiFi. Water likings and no rails in the bathroom. The mansger has no experience in customer service.
I checked in on 3rd February around 1pm. As soon as we arrived, we were treated horribly by the indo-fijian girl checking us in at the reception. It was pouring with rain that afternoon and we kindly requested that we get a porter to assist with our luggage. The lady rudely replied that there are no porters or any employees that can help and we have to do it by ourselves. My wife and I didn't think much of this interaction until the next morning when we saw a porter helping new guests arriving with their luggage. We were also told by the same lady at the reception that we would have been entitled to a complimentary breakfast if we booked directly on their website but since we booked our stay through booking Expedia, we were not entitled to it. Not to mention that we also were denied a room upgrade although it was available as we booked our stay through booking Expedia. I don't know whether this indifferent treatment towards us was due to booking through booking Expedia but the way we were treated was absolutely terrible and disheartening. Please improve your service or provide customer service training to your employees. I will not be recommending this hotel to any friends or families.
Nothing pleasing on this site.
Great location, next to a supermarket and easy easy access to Labasa town. Good at the restaurant is delicious
This property has deteriorated terribly. We stayed here several years back and it was a nice place. This stay has shown how little the owners care about the facilities. On the outside it looks nice and appealing but, the rooms are sorely outdated and in need of complete updating. There were so many things wrong. We didn't have hot water for a shower until our last day. We stayed 3 nights. The staff did there best to provide a friendly environment. The towels were very worn out and the bathroom mats we stained and worn as well. The dining room table cloths were dirty and stained. They advertise this as the pride of the North. I would be ashamed to advertise like that with the condition of this hotel.
Where to start? Possibly one of the worst places i have stayed. The smell of river at the back of our room was disgusting. The floors of the room was so dirty which isn't ideal with little kids. You ask for towels and it takes more than an hour to arrive. My 3 year old daughter got locked in the room when she was sleeping. My husband run around looking for help and we were told managment doesn't have keys to the back door. Front door had to broken down in order for us to get it. Considering this is the one expensive hotels in labasa it's just in horrible shape. The staff are friendly however managment needs to take better care or stop charging so much. We ended up checking out 2 days earlier. Will not recommend this to anyone.
Excellent service Employees like Ashoka : Awesome/very friendly and professional.
Pool wasn’t great, room had a weird smell and didn’t complain but no one did anything
Value for money, friendly staff, highly recommended
