Yes, recommended!

The hotel is great. It was November, off season and it was just amazing! Pretty quiet and very comfortable. We enjoyed the location. The staff was very nice and accommodating. The restaurants were ok but I think the food could at Entre Vientos restaurant could have been better for the price. It was nice though. Breakfasts are amazing! So are the views from the rooms if you see the ocean. The coast line great! We will come back!

A brilliant facility, wonderful staff and great location to the beach.

Almost perfect

The location was quite secluded and service amazing. The only nuisance was thin walls, hence your rest at the mercy of your neighbours.

Melia with good beach location

Upmarket hotel with friendly staff, room upgrade offered, due to late season and possibly corona, the hotel felt deserted, very few visitors, no entertainment, too few snack and food choices in snack lounge. Drinks only at beach club High cleaning standard

It’s the second time I’ve stayed at this hotel The beach is beyond beautiful the beach restaurant amazing and the hotel staff bend over backwards to help in anyway they can ! I’d recommend having a car as parking easy and you can drive down to Terifa and up to Cádiz and Seville

Lovely courtyard for dining with comfortable seats and soft lighting. Bar area comfortable and tasteful. Plenty of comfortable loungers around the pool. No deposit for pool towels. Would have preferred a bigger choice of snack options on lunch menu - more choice of sandwiches and rolls. You don’t want a main meal for lunch and dinner! The Michelin star restaurant only serves fish with a choice of 2 tasting menus. Would have liked an a la carte menu and some meat options. If you want to eat in the a la carte restaurant book before you arrive, it was full on the Saturday night when we arrived. Great hotel, lovely location next to the beach, would return.

The location directly on the beach, along with the beach bar and lounge chairs were perfect situated. The steak at the BBQ restaurant was one of the best we’ve had in a long time. The only con would be that there is no room service however with such beautiful grounds and good food it only motivated us to explore when we would have otherwise tiredly stayed in our room after a long journey.

Place to relax

Beautiful hotel with location right on the beach. 2 pools very clean. Nice service in the a la carte restaurant. Very quiet area, not much nearby makes it perfect for a relaxing break. This was my 3rd visit.

Great place to stay

Lovely hotel on a beautiful beach. From the minute we arrived we felt relaxed. Lovely entrance and very helpful and professional staff. Great breakfast and dinner buffet with the option of an a la carte restaurant with some wonderful food. Michelin starred restaurant was closed when we were there.

Beautiful Oasis

I had an amazing stay at the Meli Sancti Petri. It's a lovely peaceful oasis. The staff is overly helpful and attentive. The breakfast was over the top! I enjoyed the peacefulness of the beaches and pools. I wish I could have stayed longer!

Good hotel but a little pretenious

Hotel is nice, but check-in process is on the long side. Staff are friendly, but on the formal side. They try to upsell you for a room with a better view upon check-in. If you don't agree, you end up with a room that does not view the ocean or the courtyard. They also requested us to forward our Hotels.com confirmation to them when we checked in, which was a little strange. Overall is is a nice hotel with good surroundings.

Nice hotel on the beach

Good location directly on the beach. Good just ok. Better eat fresh caught fish in small town down the street. Nice clean rooms. Try to get sea-view room. Beach quite windy.

Beautiful place

Great potential, but not yet great.

This hotel seriously under-performs and does not justify its 5 star rating or its prices. Facilities are great, and so is the beach. Front desk staff, as well as restaurant supervisors/maitre d's - tends to start every response with a "No". Breakfast buffet is served from 7:30 to 10:30 - which in a resort hotel at the beach seems way to short, especially for families with kids who get exhausted and during the day and tend to sleep late. The only place open for lunch between 12noon and 1:30 is the Bar where they serve a very limited menu of tapas so it seems like this place expects its non-spanish guests to switch to the Spanish meal times during their stay at the hotel. Again, somthing that affects a family's daily rhythm, if you can't eat properly at your usual meal time so you're basically forced to get in a car and drive somewhere else for lunch. Dinner options are plenty, and food quality is OK, but in our opinion do not justify the prices.

Average not much atmosphere

Average 5 star hotel nothing special in an average resort. The hotel was very quiet with few guests - it may have been better in the height of the season.

NOT 5* Grand Luxe in this universe

The Melia SP is a solid 4 star european hotel and the best hotel in the ghetto of hotels that service euro middle-class package tour clientele. This would be fine, but this hotel bills itself as a 5 star GL hotel which is an insult on many levels. We were asked to pay for the REQUIRED shower shoes to use the spa. Our shower had leaving from the last guests. The phones in the room were ancient. If you want a real 5 star GL experience look to Esteponna or Marbella. Long story short, this hotel is great if you're paying a 4 star price. Otherwise you should avoid it.

Un vrai 5 étoiles avec le service qui va avec. Tout le staff est disponible. Les chambres sont spacieuses. La piscine de l’hôtel et l’accès à la plage en font un lieu privilégié. La salle de sport dispose de tous les elements. Les restaurants sont de bonne qualité.

Cet hotel est tout simplement exceptionnel par son archtecture et la qualite du service et des prestation.

Un hotel para quedarse a vivir.

Es sencillamente perfecto. Todas las comodidades y atenciones que puedas imaginar. Las habitaciones son muy muy cómodas, camas extragrandes. El buffet de desayunos no tiene un pero, tiene todo lo que puedas desear. El personal es muy profesional y agradable. Un hotel para quedarse a vivir.

Una Estancia Agradable

Ha sido un placer total, sobre todo debajo de la situación de Covid. Gran Meliá Sancti Petri tiene un servicio inmejorable, tanto los saludos sinceros y cortes, como las ayudas profesionales. Tiene un protocolo efectivo de la prevención de Covid, mientras haciendo los viajeros disfrutan todos los servicios. La limpieza también es un 10/10. Sin duda, volveré pronto.

Increíble hotel, la habitación totalmente renovada, exquisita, todos los elementos de baño de excelente marca mundial, estuvimos tres dias y hubiéramos querido estar 7, el personal SÚPER atento y AMABLE, el servicio en los restaurantes y el desayuno de primer nivel, ni que decir la atención en la playa y en el Chiringuito.
