Staff were unprofessional starting at check in; cleanliness was sub-par and staff would not acknowledge the same - in fact, I was unable to use towels because I questioned their cleanliness; apartments are not serviced during the stay; furniture and amenities are old; WiFi connection was not always good; despite being quoted $40 for my airport transfer, the staff shockingly wanted to add additional costs for using the Kampala Expressway … furthermore, the driver was late and I almost missed my flight! Overall, it was a disappointing and sometimes a rather unpleasant experience. I do not recommend this property to anyone expecting comfort and decent hospitality.
I like the location and accessibility to places I wanted to go to or visit. For me Primo Location with very quiet evenings and the ability to lounge in relative obscurity. Travel support is a mere 100m from the access road to the Apartments at Hospital entrance road ... very nice. Plus I have met a few of the drivers VERY helpful. Area power failures cascades to WiFi's non-availability, thus one needs to acquire a local SIM card or turn on your Global Roaming. Thankfully GCA has backup poser that they can employ.
Feels like the property is falling apart: :(
The receptionist is not aware of the booking and was confused of the booking he later found. We were given one unit (2 rooms), and I had to insist that I booked for two units. The person (receptionist) is courteous, though. We were later given two units. The apartment units and the rooms are spacious. Unfortunately, being old, extra effort is needed to keep it up. The linens were not all clean. I notified the front desk about the stain on the duvet, discoloration on bed sheets (as if previously used) and requested for a change on the following day. Unfortunately, it was not done. On the booking information, it was mentioned that daily cleaning service is provided. But for us, one apartment unit was cleaned, the other was not. Also, old fans were provided in two rooms in one apartment unit; but almost broken (with cover of the fan dynamo broken exposing user to risk of serious electric shock). Most internal doors (bedrooms, toilets) don’t have keys nor locks to close it for privacy. Curtains on windows don’t fully cover windows. It is a pity that maintenance and services could really disappoint clients given that the property (holel/apartment) is located in a strategic location of the city, spacious, quiet and have good garden around to provide comfort. It gives guests the impression that the property is falling apart.

The location is very good. The property requires updating. Surrounded by Full of Greenery. The staff is supportive. well secured place located in KOLOLO area.
In the room where I stayed one of the seats was broken but was placed against the wall to look ok and it almost threw me down when I sat. Toilet flushing knob requires repair. I stayed next to very noisy neighbors Otherwise all else was fine.
I've stayed at Golf Course Apartments a couple of times. What is advertised is actually what you'll get. Very secure and family friendly. What you get for your money is hard to beat with friendly and helpful staff. However, this is an older property and could benefit for some minor maintenance. Nevertheless, I would stay here again and highly recommend it.
Most of the amenities are old and not so good. Especially the utensils in the kitchen
This is the worst decision i have ever made to rent this apartment. First of all, when i arrived at the Reception, the receptionist didn't have my details or any idea that i was checking in! Then she just gave an apartment that was not cleaned, one bed missing. I called them about this issue but she kept on playing me. The other bed was brought in on the 2nd day. On the 4th day, my child was in a bedroom sleeping and all of a sudden a blast happened and i ran to the bedroom only to find out the hot water was flowing from the ceiling which was caused by blasted water pipe.(i have videos and pictures for verification). I called the receptionist and i was running around to take my things out of flooded apartment, i asked for help and she said that the people need money to help me. As if it was my problem. My suitcases had water and the entire apartment was flooded. This is the worst place to stay. People pay their money to have a best holiday only to end up in old, dirty and unprofessional serviced apartments.
A really good option
Look, the property is 20 years old and feels it........BUT it´s brilliantly located, quiet, peaceful and clean. The staff all try hard and it´s close enough to a number of good restaurants and the central business district. And you get what you pay for and this is very, very competitively priced. A good option
Nothing more than a place to lay your head........
Very quiet, very secure, very well located for access to central Kampala. But also very old and desperately in need of major refurbishment. It was good value but you should only stay here if you are looking for nothing more than a place to lay your head.
from check in to check out Every think was good Service
Great value for this price point in Kampala. Surroundings are beautiful, and the location is very convenient for shopping, business, and restaurants/nightlife in Kololo. Would definitely stay again.
belle environnement, personnel aimable, bon petit déjeuner, piscine, spatieux. Le jardin était jonché de quelques déchets
Det var bra. Men köket är fortfarande sliten.
it was my best choice in kampala!
calm and nice place! want to stay here again!
Helt greit, hvis du lilker kalerlakker
Helt ok leiligheter med bra beliggenhet. Standarden er noe sliten, det største problemet er den store mengden med kalerlakker og maur i leiligheten.

Safe and quiet, the units at golf course apartments are spacious, functional and uncluttered. The staff are warm and welcoming and the property is kept neat and tidy. There is a pool, gym, tennis court and squash court and nice gardens and walkways to satisfy your exercise needs. Its located very near restaurants and malls in an upscale area. Its also conveniently located beside the Kampala Hospital.
