First, this is a smoking property. There is nowhere on the property that you cannot smell the smoke. This is not disclosed on their website. The staff at the check-in desk were slow and borderline rude. This hotel supposedly has arrangements with local golf courses, but only the "supervisor" has this information. The rooms were in poor condition, most of the lamps broken and only one outlet on a surge strip hidden in the cabinet would hold onto a device charging adapter. It would just fall out of the other outlets because they were so worn out. The shower would not turn on unless you put your weight into the control handle, then it was virtually impossible to turn off. Countless other problems and inconveniences. I will never return to this property.

Enjoyed our stay at this property, Staff friendly and professional, Amber was awesome at check in... Large clean room, beds comfy.. Slots are EXTREMELY tight.. Had to visit other casinos to win any money....

The bed was hard and uncomfortable. Not enough light in room.

The tub had dirt in it. The sink was stopped up holding water . Over all the bsthroom could have been cleaner .

Always a pleasure to stay at the Golden Nugget. Friendly staff and lots of different things to do. A big shout out to the VIP check in staff. The regular check in line was about 6 deep. They would come out and take the next person in line and check them in via the VIP office.

They charge $19/day “resort” fee. Calling this hotel/casino a resort is an exaggeration. There is no housekeeping service if your stay is shorter than 4 days (we were not informed when we checked in), we had to ask for a refrigerator for our room (we were surprised on check out to be charged $11/day for it) and the WiFi was useless. The cheap room rate on Expedia is a loss leader.

The blow dryer almost caught fire. Was blow drying my hair and it started smoking. The jacuzzi in the room jets did not work which messed up my stay. I had high hopes for a jacuzzi experience which was ruined. The fridge barely worked. It did not keep our items cool enough. The house keeping was terrible. When we asked for items considering we were staying more than one night the staff stated no hablo engles meaning they didn’t speak English. This was my 10 yr wedding anniversary that was somewhat ruined due to the issues. Other than that it was an okay experience

Disgusting not clean at all

The dirtiest place I’ve ever attempted to stay at because I left and went to Harrahs and did not stay at the place at all. I was moved to 2 rooms and both were disgusting. Shower has not been cleaned is months. Floors sticky with something splattered all over and drops of blood they were not swept or mopped.

Late night noise

We enjoy this hotel and stay here every time we come to Biloxi. This trip, we had a room on the 12th floor and late-night guests were loud and yelling and slamming doors and partying in the hallway at 1:30 a.m. Called the front desk to have security come and quiet them down and had to make a second call at 3 a.m. before they showed up to quiet everyone down. We had hoped that at that late hour, it would have been addressed immediately.

Husband birthday trip

Hotel said they were full to capacity so I couldn't switch my room it was not clean dust on the chandeliers bathroom shower head goofy on it just wasn't clean it all the first time for the day I paid $268 a night totally disappointed ‼️‼️

Not what we expected

Very few amenities for a resort fee; no room service; no valet service; buffet is no longer in existence; first room had cosmetic issues; second room was somewhat better--in major need of renovation; hotel front desk manager was very nice and assisted us greatly;

There wasn’t a fridge or microwave in the room. My room’s toilet had issues and we had to ask for refills of soap

One night stay on our road trip. Clean,nice room. Bed was extremely hard. Would stay again.

Our room was not very clean. Had hair on the sheets. Poorly swept. Bathroom floor had dirt in the corners. Shower wasn’t very clean. Housekeeping was rude when called from our hotel room phone. Wish it would’ve been better for us.

I liked that the property was close to everything but I didn't like the rooms, for the price i paid you would have thought that it would be upscale, but it was disappointing and we changed rooms and the second room wasn't any better. I Don't think that they clean the balcony at all..and my niece had some kind of bites on her skin

First and foremost this hotel is a casino. If you like a casino atmosphere, then you might love it. We stayed here for other reasons and were horrified to find smoking is allowed on the casino floor, which permeates the entire property. We were also lead to believe the pool/hot tub were open by Expedia etc, yet when we used the hot tub (which we accessed with a keycard, which worked…) we were kicked out by a very rude employee. I still don’t know if it was actually closed since there was absolutely nothing indicating that was true. Overall we found the place very off-putting and would not go back.

Nice place. Would stay again. Casino was a little slow but there weren’t that many people on a Thursday night.

Stayed on the “Gold Floor” love the jacuzzi and the quietness! The only thing i dislike is the hotel doesn't have nor offer microwaves.

Everyone we encountered was very friendly and helpful. Staff at check in were very professional and knowledgeable. Staff we encountered in hallways and throughout the property all greeted us and were very friendly.

Awesome stay! My room had a great view of the beach, which I always enjoy. The room was clean and neatly organized. I will definitely be coming back.

Everything was great, but the parking garage can get a little confusing, but it is manageable for sure

The only problem I had was no perks for being a new nugget players card holder. They could’ve at least given a free meal.

Celebrating Banks

My daughter loved the jetted tub and pool. She said it was so relaxing. It was close to the base where we visited family. We came to celebrate a cousin’s second birthday.

Girls trip

The hotel and casino itself is nice. The bedding in our room was not very clean and we had to be moved to a different room. They do not offer valet service as advertised; it is self parking. The food in the sports bar and grille was good.

The best thing I like about the overall stay is the supervisor QuaShay customer service skills. She was very nice and professional. I wish every supervisor could teach their team good customer support skills!

Check in easy. Staff vert efficient and friendly. Lint on floor of room. Used bar of soap in the shower.

Parking was horrible. You had to park walk to an elevator and take that elevator to the hotel check and then another elevator to your room. They had no carts around to help with your luggage. We had to take several trip up and down the same two elevator routes. The room was nice. My wife is diabetic and no mini fridge in the room. We contacted the front desk and they brought us one. They do not offer everyday maid service so we had to swap dirty towels for clean ones by finding a maid in the hallway. Upon leaving the elevators do not go the to parking garage early in the mornings so we had to take the escalator down and walk a distance to our car.

Where do i start? The water in the tib wouldn't shut off. Called maintenance, they said they couldn't fix it, 2nd day the toilet would've flush, the guy brought us a plunger, it didnt need plunging .the part with the chain broke . The floors were filthy. My white socks were black .Beds and pillows were ok ..WAY TO MUCH MONEY FOR WHAT WE RECEIVED!!! The view wasnt that great either it was across from the amusement park at marguitaville. Better off staying someone cheaper and save your money for gambling

As soon as u get on the elevator it smelled like an ashtray! The entire place stunk and the staff was rude due to us having kids and it being a casino.

It was filthy to begin with. The shower leaked and made a horrible noise all night and the front desk didnt care whatsoever. There was an overall lack of urgency when we asked for anything. The casino had most of the table games closed all night while the slots were basically just video games that could be played just about anywhere. I think the hotel rating that was given you was very generous and not even close to the 4 star rating the hotel claims to have. Overall, it was not a great experience and not likely to return...

The mattress was to hard on the beds and they don’t come clean the rooms everyday.

The whole casino and property smell musty. The floor in my room was dirty snd apoears to not be swept or vaccummed regularly. That sectional couch inbthe rokm looked nasty. Probably would not stay here again

Property is very dated needs a complete renovation. Carpet was taped down in some areas where it was torn. It smelled like cheap perfume and cigarette smoke. The only good thing was the view from the balcony was beautiful otherwise very disappointed.

I did not get offered an upgrade. The room was just okay. Bed was comfortable. Plug in did not work except box on one night stand and bathroom. No safe in the room! Had to bring one in and remove the cabinet door to install it after staff at the front acted like it was in the room and we just could not find it! No conditioner or body wash in the shower. My friend had to use shampoo. When the room was cleaned the despensers were not refilled! I called the front desk and nothing was done about this. Not fridge in the room. You have to request one, be put on a waiting list and then get charged 11.20$ a day for a small square one. Also when it was put in it was turned all the way up and froze everything! We had to take it out of the cabinet to ajust it from the back. The pool area was nice. But not for a resort fee of 19.02 a day! The shower was nice with Plenty of hot water and pressure. The bathroom had a loose board that kept falling off and inside was about and inch of dust! Also, no exhaust fan but a vent in the ceiling covered in dust. Yuk. Very noisy in the halls. We stayed from Monday till Sunday. Not worth the expense!!!! The slots were awful. I will stay elsewhere with a much better value for my money.

It was a great stay.

Very friendly and helpful staff. The room was very nice as was the bathroom. We were surprised by how comfortable the bed was. Dining options were not great, we ate at Bubba Gumps and the food and service was subpar.

Golden Nugget Biloxi Mississippi First Stay Bad

My stay at the Golden Nugget Biloxi Mississippi was not a good stay. The rooms clean enough to my standards. The pools closed early. I didn’t get to enjoy getting in the pools. The food in some of the restaurants were terrible. They didn’t have valet parking something I’m use to. When I was in the casino gambling no one came to ask if I wanted anything to drink.

Casino was good but as far as staying, will not happen again. During the week, restaurants close at 9, had to leave to sit down & eat.

This was a nice hotel for a long weekend type getaway.

Everything was great other than the fact that the next room had a big party being loud until 3 AM, receptionist said they would send someone but never did. The jacuzzi tub had not been cleaned but other than that it was great. The location was great and the bed was very comfortable. Room was very spacious.

It was our first visit/stay at the Golden Nugget in Biloxi..we totally enjoyed our room(s), the view we had was fantastic, especially at night!

Ok place to stay

Stayed 3 nights, didn’t clean the room or bring clean towels had to call for them.

The room was great. Was disappointed in the patty melt I had at the Sports Bar.

Water stinks, room very noisy. Can hear next door talking and tv. Extra pay for a refrigerator if you can get one. Bed is very comfortable.

The staff was nice, other than that not much to say good about it. The parking garage stays full of water and smells horrible. Took the kids to the pool which is probably the nicest area on the property but there were no towels available for people to use so when it’s out of season you need to bring them from your room. After booking reservation I called the property via 800 number and requested two joining rooms. Apparently the 800 number was not the number to call to do so and it was only noted on the reservation and not actually setup that way. I was lucky to get this after arriving at the property as there was only two options left. The room quality was not good. The shower head came off in one room while trying to change the setting on the head. The phone was broken. The power supply sockets on the lamps didn’t work. There was no coffee pod trays for the coffee machine in either room. Had to go down to Starbucks just to get coffee. No microwave or refrigerator in either room which I believe I read something after the fact that these are available for extra cost? Lol. I’ve stayed here a few times before in the past but I think I would explore other options before doing so again. Honestly the holiday inn would have been better in my opinion.
