Beautiful Suite. Great location for Whitehouse sightseeing. Suite 1206 w balcony. Views of Dc
Location was Great! Very easy to check in! Great underground parking! Great experience.
Safe, clean, good location... highly recommend!
Safe location with many food options and tourist attractions within walking distance, and also easy to access the metro. We had relatives living in the building that we rented from which was also a huge positive for us. We rented a 1 bedroom which is perfect for a small family with young kids. The building was accommodating and friendly and everything was ready for us when we arrived. The only negative was that the toilet didn't work that well, but it wasn't a big deal to us. Overall, highly recommend and we will be back!
Great Great Great
Great place, friendly staff, amazing location
Great hotel/apartment style. Would stay again. Uber friendly location.
People were rude, not much direction or help. Important information was not told to us Like needing the key fob to get to higher floors in elevator, waiting at parking gate for 30minutes until someone woke up and opened it or i had to drive back around to front let them know i had been waiting and drive back to gate hoping they open it, noone informed us where trash room was. Although we paid a cleaning fee we had to clean all trash cans , fridge , dishes and dispose our bags. Apartment has potential but it was poorly maintained. Back room missing a window shade to a very large window. No privacy and sun beaming in very early in morning. Mattress sunken in . Hole in middle. Most uncomfortable sleep ever. 2nd bedroom had connections for a TV but it was missing. I requested and got no response .Walls need a good painting. Fridge damaged inside. Balcony door broken. Letting hot air in and bugs. Sheets and pillow cases smelled rancid. Tried washing clothes Then when i go to dry filter in dryer is broken. Absolute dissatisfaction with this very expensive rental.
THE AIRCONDITIONER WAS NOT WORKING AND DC WAS UNDER A HEATWAVE OF 98+++
Great stay
Everything exceeded expectations- room was bigger and nicer, roof area was perfect; and garage parking was a plus. One downside was the beds/mattresses were NOT comfortable.
We had a great stay. The apartment was super spacious and we had enough room for everyone to be comfortable. The master bed could have been more comfortable. The middle sagged and I felt like I was sleeping on a slant. I loved the complimentary toiletry and kitchen stuff they included. I do wish they'd had hot pads, salt and pepper and hand soap available because I didn't think to bring those. CVS is right across the street so you can get pretty much anything there. It is less than 10 min to get to the subway. WiFi was included and we paid for the parking under the apartment and that made things easier. The location was great! We would definitely stay here again.
Comfy Cozy Stay
It could have been a little cleaner but I’m not complaining. I straightened up as soon as I got in and I enjoyed my stay, even booked an extra night. The view is beautiful and the neighborhood just as wonderful. I will consider staying again.
Everything was great except for parking underground
Adequate, but not great.
Price was good. Location was good for meetings in the Convention Center. Check-in took about 45 minutes to an hour and I ended up being put into a different apartment than the one I had been informed about and they only had one key to give me to use between me and my colleague. Only one key caused many logistical issues since we weren't planning to come and go as group. They finally got me a second key two days later. Apartment was ok but in need of some love. There were lots of marks on the walls and missing door knobs. A little paint would do wonders. Concierge services at the apartment were not good because it is one person serving the entire building and you always had to wait on them. Elevator malfunctioned badly and trapped us for a bit, Concierge was not concerned about it or had other things to do.
Not bad
Good experience for my first time staying at a apartment hotel. Concierge was nice . Parking was easy since it was underground. Very spacious 2 bedroom and 2 full bathrooms. No complaints. Would stay here again. Only thing I don't like is the fact you only get one apartment key.
Check in
Quirky. They wanted you to fill in a form. It did not take, so I called and was told to complete it there. No-one available to take info so I was given my keys and went to the room. It was really nice and clean. Spacious and warm. The set-up wonderful. I would stay again.
The bed in the master room was wore out and my wife and I rolled to the center each night. Restless nights!! Great location, awesome service, and room other than the bed!!
Wrong place to stay
The issues where as follows: - Didn’t know how to check us in - didn’t have a way to get us in and out of the parking garage - the place smelled bad - didn’t have a check out process
Nice
It was very nice experience! Never stay in a hotel apartment before and I like it!
nice apartment
We loved everything about our stay including convenient location.
Good location, that's about it
Upon arrival we were told by staff we weren't supposed to be staying less than two months. Very awkward and uncomfortable. Unit was rough, washing machine panel broken, doors w/ holes in them, walls and baseboards unclean. Do you're homework before staying here
Great experience.
Trouble with the internet, first receptionist was great, second one was difficult and unfriendly , apartment was very good choice
Sightseeeing trip to Washington DC with family
Had a great time, the apartment was in the newer part of town, walking distance to everything.
Great location.Nice option for DC
Room was large, clean and well-appointed. Good option to a hotel in this city.
Nice units, HORRIBLE management
I am not one to complain, but this was hands down the worst lodging experience I have had while traveling. It started right after booking the unit having to scan and send forms directly to the company (weird) and continues well after the trip (not being refunded for multiple problems). The completely unnecessary stress and complication that Global Luxury Suites placed on my family is beyond frustrating. The units are nice enough, but the company is not structured to be in the business of booking rooms for only a few nights. Between emails and phone calls I dealt with at least 10 different people (10!!) for a 3 night stay, all of whom seemed confused and several who couldn't care less to help. They randomly changed us to different properties 3 times after booking and downgraded us from a 2 bedroom to 1 bedroom unit without my consent 30 minutes before we arrived- and have still not reimbursed me. They didn't even have consensus within the company on where to park or if they even handled it- AFTER they charged me for parking. I genuinely felt as though we were being scammed. It was that bad.
Great location, excellent room deco, friendly staff, the kitchen, washer/dryer, utensils were very helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Never again
Horrible customer service. Forget getting someone on the phone after you book. Apartment was large but worn. Could use paint and new furniture. Dirty dishes in dishwasher when we arrived. Could never get someone on the phone to set up parking so had to stay in a lot on our own .25 miles away for$55
Priced fair with a good location
The building overall was good however I felt that the rooms could use a little sprucing up. Walls were in need of painting, carpet needed to be cleaned and more importantly several outlets didn't have covers on them. One of the bedroom doors even needed a door knob (see photo). It should also be easier to get into the parking deck. I probably would recommend this to a friend but with a warning.
Luxury apartment, not a hotel
The apartment is in a secured high rise building on Mass Avenue. There is underground parking available for $10/day. This was equivalent in cost to renting a hotel family suite. I rented a two bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment with laundry machines in the apartment. A full sized kitchen and living room with a pull out sofa bed. Cable and wifi included. It was a spacious apartment. The building has two pools on the roof and access to grills on the roof as well. It's in walking distance from restaurants, China town and a few blocks from the museums etc. I would highly recommend.
Unexpected value and amenities.
Was an unexpected surprise to have this last minute reservation become such a great stay. I wasnt sure what to what to expect with an apartment rental but this was above any 4 star hotel or have ever stayed in. Great building, great amenities, and the best value you can get for where you stay and what included!
Unsatisfied customer
I was totally unhappy...1st on my confirmation I was suppose to have a bedroom with 2 queen...when I arrived the second bedroom had two twins..2nd ...I was not given a key to get into the garage. I was charged a daily rate to park in it...I called The global luxurysuites only never to receive a call back stating that they were closed on weekends...I then called back on Monday & still have not received a callback regarding a discount for the bedroom...I have been charged a cleaning fee but yet had to get rid of my own trash..I will never recommend this facility to anyone ever again...
Spacious and Comfortable
Nice big apartment well located near grocery stores and restaurants. Lots of room for our family of 5 to spread out while there on a week's vacation. Good kitchen and barbecues on the rooftop deck made it easy to cook meals in. Note: You need a fire starter to light the grill. The rooftop deck was amazing. Very spacious and gorgeous views of the capital. Building was nice but mostly inhabited by 20-30 somethings. We weren't really able to take advantage of swimming in the roof top pool because it was taken over by a large group of guys and the kids didn't feel comfortable. It was a holiday weekend though so people were probably a little more festive than usual. Otherwise it was a great experience overall.
Great for long business or pleasure trip!
It is not clear from the listing that this is an apartment complex with no business traveler amenities, such as coffee in the lobby or the ability to have your bag held at the desk. This would be a great place for a longer-term business traveler or a trip for pleasure. For a one night business trip, it's a bit of a hassle since it lacks the business amenities listed above. Great cafe right next door for a meal and coffee!
Excellent lodging in DC.
Lots of room for working and relaxing. Anyone needing space to work or meet with others would like this location.
Walking distance to Capital, National Mall
Car not necessary, walk to restaurants, Smithsonian, Capital
Nice home away from home.
Apartment was very spacious and centrally located. Good eats walking distance. The washer and dryer in unit was nice. Cons: no daily cleaning service, master bed mattress was entirely too thin. Also a change of Carpet would be nice. I would stay here again as the spacious apartment and location was worth it. The unit comes with everything you would have at your home.
Nice apartment in Washington DC
I was in DC partly on business but did take advantage of touring around. The thing I like about this place is the price compared to some of the better hotels in DC, and the comfort of the apartment. Lots of space with the living room and convenient kitchen and bath. Did not take advantage of the washer and dryer in the unit, but it certainly is a nice amenity. Walls were a bit bare, but it was really comfortable and in great condition. Also a nice secure building with someone at the front security desk 24 X 7. Electronic access control to the entrance as well as the elevators which made you feel pretty secure.
Excellent Apartment Short walk to attractions
The staff are very friendly and helpful. There are a variety of restaurants nearby, Walmart & pharmacy short walk.
Global Luxury Aparments, 425 Massachusetts Ave, NW
Perfect place in DC to move around and with a stay longer than three days, much better choice than a hotel
clean and good location for convention center.
no soap or refills of shampoo and conditioner and no maid service for the three days. No second key provided even though requested days earlier. Staff at desk pleasant ,but could not get soap or keys. Ended up using dish soap from kitchen.
Comfortable Room in a Residence Property
This was a nice, clean property. However, please note that it is NOT a hotel, but a residence property that rents out some rooms. There is no daily housekeeping and you will be charged a $100 cleaning fee for your stay. That said, if that's what you are looking for, this is a nice place. The rooms were comfortable and the kitchenette was up-to-date and nice. The location is great- near Chinatown and an easy walk to a lot of DC's museums and monuments.
This 'luxury' condo was average at best. It had a lovely kitchen but if the appliances were used, we were expected to clean them and pay ad'l' cleaning fee? The walls were dirty, furnishings were tired and old, particle board vanity, mirror medicine cabinet that would not close properly, bathroom lights did not work - when we arrived and reported the issue we were told a work order had been submitted but 3 days later the lights were still not working? The door to bedroom could not be completely opened, blocked by end table. NO cell phone reception, had to step out on balcony for cell service. Only one key provided.
Not again.
We got there, and we could not leave bags for 2 hours as we were 2 hours early for check-in. Then, we had to clean the room (empty garbage cans, do the dishes, etc. ) before check-out. What? And, we had to buy dish soap and detergent to do laundry in the convenient washer/dryer.
Fully Furnished Apartment is the way to go!
Best place ever. This place was huge for our family of 4. 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, full kitchen to make meals and keep expenses down, plenty of room to relax. It felt like home away from home. Could not have asked for anything better. Truly hope to be able to come back and stay here again!
Convient and comfortable. Great rooftop.
The room was excellent. Worked very well. A slight disappointment was the person at the front desk. We arrived early and the person originally told us there was no place to store our suitcase. After waiting several minutes she did come back and provided a secure place for the luggage. Otherwise I would have given the property a perfect score.
Plenty of space and a lovely place to stay
Everything was excellent. I would recommend this to anyone, especially if attending a nearby conference. My only complaints are that I wasn't sure if the in-room welcome baskets were free or had secret charges and the bed was very uncomfortable. It was roadside motel uncomfortable. If replaced, this would be a 5-star across the board as the location, roof, and amenities were great!
The apartment we stayed in was nice but the rented furniture and carpet really need a cleaning. The cleaning fee is not being used to clean that's for sure. We liked the full kitchen and closet the bedroom was small but suited our needs
Good Price & Apartment. Service Needs to Improve.
The apartment was very nice & cozy but the front desk can't help us much. They can only allow us to check-in exactly 4:00 pm or after. Can't even check-in 5 or 10 minutes before 4:00 pm. It took them almost 1 hour to give us the room keys when they could have prepared for it earlier. There's no daily cleaner to clean up the apartment.
Wonderful home away from home!
We are a family of four so the 2 bedroom/2 bathroom apartment was perfect for us. There was plenty of room for everyone and it was very clean. The welcome kits in the kitchen and bathrooms were a very nice touch with sample sizes of toiletries and dish soap etc. Having a full kitchen was excellent and helped us save on meal expense (with Walmart being so close by). Also, the rooftop amenities are superb! There are 3 bar-b-q grills, a couple of pools, and lots of seating and dining areas. We cooked out and watched the sun set over the Capitol! There are also a couple of computers in the lobby area for public use which is handy. All in all, it was a very enjoyable experience and we would definitely stay there again.
Furnished Apartment in Downtown Washington.
This place was a full 2 bedroom 1100sq foot furnished apartment. There was plenty of room for our family of 4 to spread out and relax during our 5 night stay. I would highly recommend this type of accommodation vs. a traditional hotel room that offers limited space. Given the fact it had a full kitchen we went to a grocery store. Even though this place may have been a bit more than a traditional hotel room we saved by making many of our own meals rather than going out to eat all the time. Tip...when you exit the front door I'd suggest turning left, rather than right, to avoid the small parkette at the end of the block as it tends to be a homeless gathering spot. Otherwise I'd always stay in this building when vacationing or on Business in Washington.
Overall OK but could be improved.
The good: 1. The location is perfect. 2. The kitchen is decent and has all the essentials for cooking. 3. I requested parking, and the the underground garage has ample spaces for my 7 seater. The bad: 1. The room is not clean at all. The carpet for the living room is very dirty. The floor is full of dirt. There are small pieces of animal waste on the carpet of bedroom. The walking closet corner has some black stuff I don't even want to guess what it is. 2. They did not offer me parking remote for the garage. So I have to talk to the concierge every single time if I want to enter the garage.

Looks great in photos - disappointing in person
The photos are nothing like where you'll be staying, there was a single towel in the unit, blinds didn't work, small dining table, uncomfortable bed, overpriced, took me 2 hours to get into my unit upon arrival... they don't have anyone on site, so contacted their customer service and they proposed 10% off a future stay - they give this to anyone just for signing up on their website, so it wasn't really an offer at all. Will not ever stay here again!!!
