it cost us Eu260 from the airport to the Resort , there is no Uber , the pool was clean but sometimes we saw bugs in the water and that was not a pleasant experience

We had a nice time in Gennadi but it’s a good but not great hotel with some major flaws. Positives; buffet and all inclusive drinks are excellent, restaurant staff are nice and very attentive (Anna), the rooms and pool areas feel clean and modern. There is live music at breakfast, lunch and dinner which is very nice. Negatives; the hotel has no atmosphere as every available space is filled with so much furniture but almost no decorations/ cheap fake plants. So the lobby and bar area feel corporate, the main restaurant feels like a canteen with ridiculously bright lights and the grounds have neglected planting areas. The a la carte food was a bit hit and miss and there is very limited drink choice at the buffet dinner. The reception service was shockingly bad; took forever to get an answer and was dismissive. E.g, I told reception that I hurt my foot, could barely walk and asked for first aid bandage and I was told I should go to the mini mart as they had run out !! Some of the rooms have bad views, either over adjacent scrub land or directly onto a bush. And for families with babies there are NO rooms with baths, so you are given a tiny baby bath that you need to use in the shower. The rooms are fully open plan to the bathroom so once your baby is asleep in the room you cannot do anything in the bathroom without waking them up. Overall, I am sure if you go to Gennadi Grand resort you will have a nice time but all the negatives add up and prevent it from being a great hotel.

I had a wonderful time at Gennadi, the rooms were great, had everything I needed and the terrific staff kindly upgraded me (thank you so much). Plentiful dining options and the food was always excellent. This is a fantastic place to decompress and relax. I want to give a special shout out to Carla, Yiannis and Konstantina (at the front desk) who went above and beyond to make my stay amazing, their positive and joyful energy was a delight to be around.

My wife & I spent our honeymoon here in August and had an amazing time. The staff were extremely friendly & helpful, the food was great and the resort was great. Multiple pool areas, plenty of sun loungers and swim up rooms available. Lots of food choices and bars on site. The resort also has a convenience store that's open all day, thats fairly priced. The resort offers excursions each day, which include cruises, trips to different islands and much more. The spa is amazing! We definitely plan to visit again.

Perfect stay. Everything you would expect from a 5* resort. Definitely recommend.

Great rooms and service by the staff

Stayed for one week all inclusive in early June. Very little to fault at this hotel, rooms are brilliant. Food options are great and buffet is varied and of amazing quality. Evening entertainment was good as was the bar. All staff were great and service was brilliant, never had to wait for a drink in any area of the hotel. Would highly recommend.

Positives 1. Most of the staff were very friendly and accommodating, especially the girls working the main bar in the evening and those at the customer service desk. 2. The à la carte restaurant food was amazing. 3. The cocktails at the evening bar were fabulous. 4. The desserts were incredible every single day and beautifully designed. 5. The hotel is very modern, and ordering to your sunbed via the app is great. 6. The beds and pillows were extremely comfortable. 7. The spa is gorgeous, and the gym is well-equipped. 8. There's a good shop on-site for anything you might need. Negatives 1. The buffet, especially dinner, was never warm enough. 2. There were ants throughout the resort. We had to move rooms because of this issue and were downgraded from a suite to a junior suite without a refund. Upon checkout, they gave us a late checkout worth 40 euros, which didn't cover the cost difference but was better than nothing. I understand this is nature and they are trying to address it, but it was very annoying when outside. 3. The room design was odd. The shower is right by the door entrance with no ventilation, and the toilet is separate with a sewage drain that had a bad smell. The cleaners kept putting the bin over the drain to block the smell. 4. There wasn't enough storage in the rooms for two people, with only one drawer available. 5. The staff at the front desk were not very friendly and a bit dismissive. 6. The rooms were not super clean. Although modern, we noticed that

Relaxed atmosphere. Everything was kept clean, spotless inside our room aswell as around the resort. The staff were very friendly & made you feel welcome. We ate in all the restaurants & also had room service & the food was excellent. I had a lovely relaxing holiday but there was also the option for my 13 year old son to be entertained. We will definitely be returning next year.

Airport terminal meets goldfish bowl - yuk

The resort is far from 5 star. It resembles an airport terminal departure lounge with absolutely no ambience whatsoever. Every restaurant feels the same with zero investment in the accessories that make a space special- be that your room where the furniture was sparse and cheap through to the public spaces and restaurants where you were treated to some variant of garden furniture on which to sit.

It was amazing

This hotel is the ultimate choice for relaxation in style, in rhodes. We absolutely loved the rooms ( two-bedroom garden suite with pool) and the food was incredible. All the staff are so helpful, friendly and funny. The only thing missing is evening entertainment, just not once central place for everyone to get her every evening, almost too relaxing and quiet, especially with three rowdy kids in tow.

Beautifully designed architecture, wonderful staff, gorgeous food.

The hotel is very modern. Staff and super friendly and helpful. There very a couple things that made my stay absolutely fantastic. Firstly the piano music being played during breakfast and in the main bar after dinner, beautiful. Amounts many others the fact that the hotel has a mobile app I could use to make restaurant bookings and order drinks/food to be delivered to my umbrella at the beach or around the main pool was a great touch. Except for the dinner time in the main restaurant the place didn’t seem very busy, as most of the rooms have there own private pools the beach was mostly empty. I would definitely recommend it. For anyone considering booking I would strongly recommend going All inclusive as otherwise the prices are very high and there is nowhere else around the hotel to eat/drink.

Good but not great sadly.

The Gennadi Grand has potential to be a great hotel, the rooms and pool areas are excellent, however the grounds in general are still very immature and in need of significant work. Our trip got off to a bad start when we were allocated different rooms to those booked through Hotels.com and as the hotel was full there was no option to change. The reception staff handled this awkward situation as well as possible, but ultimately weren't able to resolve. The rooms we had were clean and well equipped with a (distant) sea view, all be it one that was across what looked like wasteland and slightly obscured by other rooms. The staff were friendly but lacking some of the customer care and attention you would expect from a 5 star hotel. Buffet breakfasts were excellent and the two pool restaurants we tried were good - again though, as the pool restaurants were only feet apart but offered different menus the lack of flexibility from staff, allowing guests to order from the different menus and eat on either side of the kitchen was frustrating and more problematic than necessary. Overall the Gennadi Grand was OK for a relaxing week in the sun, but definitely not a 5 star experience.

Wir waren total begeistert und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Absolut weiter zu empfehlen. Einziger Kritikpunkt, dass das Wasser im privaten Pool etwas zu kalt war. Ansonsten stimmte alles. Das Essen war hervorragend. Auch die Livemusik jeden Tag war toll. Super freundliches und kompetentes Personal.

Super freundlich Personal. Buffet wir immer reichlich nachgefüllt und benutzte Teller am Tisch werden super schnell weggeräumt. Wir würden sofort wieder kommen. Das Zimmer war schön und wurden regelmäßig auf wunsch aufgeräumt und Handtücher getauscht.

Wir hatten eine Woche einen Wunderschönen Auffenthalt in diesem Hotel. Pool Anlage Top, der Privatstrand super und immer genug Liegen. Das Frühstücksangebot war super und man wurde jeden Morgen zum Tisch begleitet. Man konnte verschiedene Auswahl an Restaurants Buchen,wir hatten nur Frühstück gebucht und sind Auswärts in die Heimischen Tavernen gegangen. Ein Auto wäre Praktisch kann aber auch im Hotel gemietet werden. Der Zimmerservice der Frauen war Herzlich und freundlich auch im Restaurant und an der Rezeption. Die Massage war auch sehr gut. Alles in allem hatten wur eine Tolle Woche in diesem Hotel.

Sehr gutes Essen und sehr schöne Anlage. Besonders hervorzuheben sind die Restaurants innerhalb des Geländes, die man bei All-inklusive Buchung ebenfalls benutzen kann. Lediglich die Anreise vom Flughafen dauert sehr lange (ca. 75 Minuten).

Amazing own Poolrooms, great food

Amazing Resort, de food is outstsnding and the service staff very lovely. I got a free upgrade to seaview with my own pool instead of own pool without seaview. Cause of the locations of the room you don't have sun for too long in October on your terrasse which I found very sad, about lunchtime will be shade, but pool still in the sun. The rooms are so nice, very comfortable bed. They sadly don't refill the minibar. The one thing I didn't like, after checkin, I had to get my stuff from the parkinglot. Than they explained me where my room is, without telling me about the upgrade why I was double confused where to find my room. The seaview rolms are not visible from the main area and I walked around, completely lost with all my baggage. That is not 5star service A guy from the pool Restaurant than brought me to my room as you need to know where to go down on that level where these rooms are. Beside this, everything was very nice, also good evening programms. The buffetrestaurant had a bit special food, was sometimes hard to find things I liked and sometimes not that warm. For 6 nights I could go to one of the a la carte Restaurants for dinner 2. The food you get there, also lunchoptions was very good! Beach is not nice, not like on pictures, wouldn't stay for beachvacations, but the poolrooms are cool, no besch needed.

Ich möchte all jenen, die Bedenken wegen der jüngsten Waldbrände haben, sofort die Sorge nehmen. Es gibt absolut keine Schäden in der gesamten Hotelanlage. Wir haben die Suite mit privatem Pool gebucht und es war alles sehr sauber. Auch zu viert gemeinsam mit unseren beiden kleinen Kindern (3 Jahre und 1 Jahr alt) fühlte sich das Zimmer geräumig und komfortabel an. Wir haben es wirklich genossen, den direkten Zugang zum Pool zu haben. Ein kleiner Hinweis an zukünftige Gäste und an das Management: Es gab keinen Kleiderschrank im Zimmer, was ein wenig unpraktisch war. Zudem kühlte der Mini-Kühlschrank nicht besonders gut und bei einer All-Inclusive-Buchung wurde sein Inhalt leider nicht nachgefüllt. Was jedoch ganz besonders hervorzuheben ist, ist das überaus freundliche und hilfsbereite Hotelpersonal. Sie waren nicht nur professionell, sondern auch besonders kinderlieb, was für Eltern wie uns einen riesigen Unterschied macht. Unseren Kindern hat es gefallen, und das hat unseren Aufenthalt noch angenehmer gemacht. Das kulinarische Erlebnis im Gennadi Grand Resort war ein echtes Highlight. Das Speisen- und Getränkeangebot war erstklassig und die A-la-Carte Restaurants haben unsere Erwartungen bei Weitem übertroffen. Egal ob Frühstück, Mittag- oder Abendessen - alles war köstlich und von hoher Qualität. Abschließend kann ich das Hotel Gennadi Grand Resort nur wärmstens empfehlen. Es war ein Urlaub, den wir so schnell nicht vergessen werden

Nowy Hotel z ogromnym potencjałem. Pięknie pomyślany i zaprojektowany - jednopiętrowe bungalowy rozmieszczone na dużym terenie stwarzają prywatność i komfort wypoczynku. Zwłaszcza pokoje w części parterowej, dysponujące prywatnymi basenami. Pokoje czyste, pachnące, codziennie sprzątane. Do dyspozycji gości bardzo dobrej klasy ręczniki, szlafroki oraz kapcie. Bardzo wygodne łóżka oraz czysta pościel. W łazienkach podstawowe kosmetyki. Na wyposażeniu pokoju duży płaski telewizor, ekspres do kawy, lodówka codziennie uzupełniana w wodę. Na powitanie gościa w pokoju czeka butelka białego wina oraz talerz z owocami. Hotel dysponuje sześcioma restauracjami: ogólną "Filoxenia" - z międzynarodową i śródziemnomorską kuchnią, grecką - "Ouzo", włoską - "Alati", stek haus - "STK", przy basenie - "Ble" oraz "Level2" płatną - wyłącznie śniadania. Posiłki smaczne, przygotowywane są na bieżąco. Poza restauracją "Filoxenia" i "Level2" wszystkie pozostałe nie są klimatyzowane. W mojej ocenie jest to poważnym minusem. Tym bardziej, że lunch (nie wiadomo dlaczego) jest proponowany wyłącznie w Ouzo, Alati i Ble. Jedzenie posiłku - lunchu, w 40-stopniowym upale nie jest komfortowe, a na dodatek jeszcze trzeba czekać na wolny stolik. Zarówno dla gości jak i bardzo uprzejmej obsługi są to niezwykle trudne warunki i czas oczekiwania na posiłek jest zwielokrotniony. Słabą stroną Hotelu jest też system informatyczny oraz wolne wifi, natomiast mocną - niezwykle uprzejma obsługa.

Best Resort Ever!

This was the best hotel/resort that I've been to! It is amazing, so beautiful and clean. The staff are wonderful, happy, and very helpful and accommodating. The food was great! I loved how eco friendly the hotel is. The spa is amazing! I enjoyed most of their treatments and facilities. There are many activities and excursions for everyone. I am obsessed with this place and I will be back again and again!

Rapporto qualità prezzo eccellente. Non credo però che merita categoria 5 stelle, direi è più un 4 stelle. Buona cucina, ampi spazi, personale presente e cordiale senza essere invadente. Lo consiglio vivamente!

Super freundliches Personal! Wirklich tolle Stimmung. Jedoch braucht das Hotel noch einiges um wirklich zu überzeugen. Die

Zimmer war wie beschrieben und auf den Fotos abgebildet, sehr sauber und alles da was man braucht. Das einzige was uns gestört hat ist das so viele Restaurants angeschrieben sind, allerdings haben meist 2 Restaurants eine Küche. Am ersten Abend (wir sind spät angekommen) wollten wir dann noch etwas essen gehen, wobei der "Restaurantleiter" des Steaklokals gesagt hat das dies nur mit Reservierung geht (es waren nur die Hälfte der Tische gedeckt), nach Rücksprache mit der Rezeption haben wir dann im Nebenlokal (selber Leiter) einen Platz bekommen (auch selbe Küche) und bis wir gegangen sind waren bei weitem nicht alle Tische belegt, aber ein schwarzes Schaf hat man wohl überall! Alles in Allem kann man die Unterkunft aber sehr weiterempfehlen ;)
