One of the most beautiful places to stay near Ubud. The spa facilities and staff are exceptional. The bathtub overlooking the rice paddy fields are an absolute beauty! The rooms are spacious and wonderful facilities throughout.

I simply can not find the words to describe our experience. The attention to detail, peace vibrating from the earth, vegan options that are better than a southern soul food Thanksgiving dinner (southern certified girl)!! If you get an opportunity GOOOO! I loved that it ia understated on social media which made rhe exlerience EVEN better. Simply sublime.

Amazing place. Staff was great... and we meet Russell Simmons, the owner and hip hop mogul. Only meh thing was restaurant is vegan only, but you can get food delivered from Grab.

Every member of the Gdas staff went above and beyond for us during our stay. They were all very kind and went out of their way to make sure we were always taken care of. I would definitely stay here again in the future.

Even though our stay was during the soft opening period... the noise was construction noise was minimum and relatively unobtrusive. Surrounded by rice paddies and rain forest and beside the fresh bubbling brook, the room was peaceful and relaxing. We walked to the Ubud Yoga Centre daily - approx 25-30 min walk. The staff were exceptional during our 6 nights stay, only wish we could have stayed longer. Not accomodating a late check-out in our own room, was our only criticism as the midnight flight back to Australia requires some support, yet the continued access to pool, shower and facilities in our last few hours was wonderful even without our own extended room.

Fabulous

GDAS is a wonderful hotel - everything from the rooms to the pool and restaurant (delicious vegan food). The staff was especially friendly and helpful. Note that the hotel is still under construction - did not interfere with our stay of 5 days. We had access to nearby private club to use the facilities. The gym at GDAS was partially open - beautiful gym with all kinds of equipment. There's a shuttle to Ubud center.

The property was based on the vegan philosophy which was great!

Exceptional stay

The place is beautiful! My room was stunning I had one of the villas. The only annoying thing was the spa wasn’t open (still not built ) and that was one of the reasons I chose to go there and was told only after I made the payment. Other than that it was great and Juan assisted me and was a great help taking me to the temple etc. lovely staff and beautiful location and rooms

From my arrival up to my check out time was seamless, Eka and Ari made my stay super amazing .

The Only problem is the EXPEDIA APP, it doesn't work while traveling unless there is WiFi access. However NO WiFi in the airport, sea port or in a Taxi.

Absolutely beautiful hotel and amazing staff. Our room was so nice and comfortable. The staff went above and beyond for us. There was construction going on the grounds of the hotel, but we did not really notice it when we were in our room. The resort is 100% vegan. I didn’t realize this until we arrived. Everyone kept saying you won’t tell the difference with their food. As an avid meat eater I definitely could tell the difference, but the food was still good.

This property was amazing. The decor, the esthetics, the food and the staff were beyond anything I could have expected. Even though there is some construction going on it was still serene. There was not one staff member that wasn’t pleasant and helpful. Agung, Ria, Felia, Degung, Nita and so many more. I can’t remember all the names. I tried vegan meals for first time. I enjoyed everything I only ate outside of resort once. I have already booked another stay.

Our stay at GDAS gave us a new perspective and appreciation for a resort experience. GDAS is where to stay when visiting Bali. The attention to details and guest preferences is outstanding. From the airport pick up to departure, we felt like VIPs. Actually, more like family!! Everyone greeted us by name and with a welcoming smile. You can tell that GDAS is ranked high among the best places to work in Ubud (perhaps all of Bali) and it shows by the staff’s energy and enthusiasm to service each guest. The environment is serene and calming. Gracefully situated overlooking rice fields, there is a peace and calm that overcomes you. The rooms are meticulously kept and offers a warmness just like you’re at home. The connectedness that GDAS has within the village is felt throughout. Every transaction was genuinely authentic and heartfelt. The food at Tangi is satisfying and “clean eating” at its finest. Talk about tickling the taste buds. Every dish was tasty and full of fabulous flavors. We highly recommend GDAS, even if for one night. The standards are so high that future stays anywhere else won’t be the same.
