Nice spacious rooms to stay at on western side of the city. Self check-in and rooms aren't serviced with multiple night stays but can requested at no cost. Well equipped for meal preps with microwave, crockery, cutlery and toaster. Limited breakfast menu available to order. TV reception and wifi needs improvement.Overall good value for money.

This property uses contactless checkin which was so easy. We had no problems getting our key. Communication was very good from venue. Room was spacious & very clean.

Excellent staff although we never saw anyone. Clean towels and bed made every day, as requested.

Nice to find an intimate setting, lots of trees and bushes around the carpark perimeter, and the pool in a literal central location. Room was spacious, well-lit, clean and well-appointed. Close to a large shopping centre and fuel outlet.

Nice and clean I didn’t have any problems and it’s the first time that I’ve stayed at a hotel with out any human interaction I had the in the locker and when I left I put the key back in the locker box would stay there again

This was our second time staying at this motor inn. The self check-in was nice and easy. The area was safe and quiet. I would recommend for a couples stay.

Nice place to stay on our first to Broken Hill

I was so grateful to get a room last minute and the owner was very accommodating! I will be back, also absolutely loved the bathroom and the makeup remover face cloth, I was very impressed!

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and very spacious. Would highly recommend.

Three nights in the Gateway was a pleasure, comfortable bed, nice & clean & a huge room. Very happy to stay here again. Lovely stay.

Property was perfect, Only that it was quite far from the food places, transportation was an issue and walking isn't an option.

WELL KEPT CLEAN AND REASONABLY PRICED

The parking is a bit squeezy, especially with the pool fence right in the middle. Do people not use flannels anymore, usually there is one for body wash? But a huge thank you for the fly spray, as our car was filled with flies after being at the Camel Farm & consequently the car alarm kept going off thanks to the flies. We have learnt something new when it comes to flies in cars.......thank you.

Gateway motel

Spacious and clean room. We stayed 5 days but room not serviced during our stay. The staff asked if we need anything and provided what we needed. The bed felt like a water bed, not good for people with back problems. The area was quiet and ease to park a car.

Worth consideration

We loved our stay at Gateway. Only stayed a couple of nights but would happily stay here for a longer visit. Loved the contactless check-in, access was so easy and seamless. The room itself was very spacious. We had planned to spend some time in Silverton and the hotel was well placed being on the main road that led there. Also close to shopping centre and a short drive to some lovely dining options. Disappointed we didn’t have time to enjoy a dip in the pool, maybe next time!

Clean and spacious

Didn’t see any staff at all. Key in security box. Some of the furnishings were a bit dated. In saying all that it was probably reasonable value for money. All bushes need a trim once you park you are lucky to get in your rooms as bushes were thorny. Parking is a quite tight.

Great location and nice stay in a great motel

Large room was impressive upon arrival, furniture retro style, with big comfortable lounge chairs. Self check in worked well, the grounds were well maintained with colourful plantings.

I love the location, quiet, and only a few minutes from main area of Broken Hill. The owners and staff are wonderful, very quick to help with queries! One of the best motels in the area, and I've stayed in quite a few of them over the years!

We would definitely return to this place next time we are in Broken Hill. It was so clean and amenities were in excellent condition. The room was spacious and well set out. It was so quiet, being a close drive into the centre of town but away enough to not have all the noise.

Rooms were large, clean and quiet. Had enough crockery etc for the number of guest the room could accommodate. Easy check in and out.

The hotel is close to shopping and main highways. The management kept their car parked in the middle of the driveway so, you had to drive around the entryway through a makeshift roadway.

The property was a bit hard to find as the sign was obscured by tree branches & other road signs. Parking was a bit tight. The impersonal contact free approach does not really suit me. The room was clean and spacious but was otherwise quite basic. The property is also on the outskirts of the town.

Easy check in. Good size room with parking outside door Quick little survey request shortly after arriving. My wife whinged about no body wash with only block of soap provided. A bottle of body wash was given to my wife a few minutes later with an apology plus an apology the following morning. Very pleasing. Bowls, microwave and toaster provided. Wi fi deteriorated during the evening. Neighbouring bathroom noise not bad given the type of property but you must hope that you don’t get a tradie having a shower at 5 in the morning. We would stay there next time we are in Broken Hill.

Clean and spacious room. Easy park and drive 5 minutes to town centre. Hosting couple are very friendly, Liz called me to care if we flooded along the way home. Will stay if go to Broken Hill again.

Very accomodating

We originally booked for two nights. Due to weather conditions preventing us from doing some of the local sights, we asked if we could extend for an extra night. They accommodated our request with no fuss and we enjoyed an extra night with them. Check in and out was easy and the owners/managers were friendly and helpful. The location was quiet and convenient to shops and major roads to tourist sites.

This is the place to stay when staying over night in Broken Hill

Second stay here. It’s nice and quiet. Only bad thing was that we could only get in here one night of our three night stay! It’s clearly very popular. No vacancy sign lit up last night too.

Just a good Motel

The Gateway Motor inn has become our go to for accommodation when we are in Broken Hill. It's has good size rooms, the beds are comfortable, showers are great and is located a short drive to the city centre. We would highly recommend the Gateway Motor inn if you are travelling in the area.

The room was quiet, great size with all the items needed including a microwave. Really great room! Contactless check-in was not what we wanted as would have preferred to pay with cash. Stay NSW voucher was not accepted although still being displayed on the NSW website as a participating business. Cold shower on first day as did not realize how long it took for the water to heat up! took a while. Stayed 2 nights and room was not made up due to covid I guess. Location was ideal.

Booked online. On arrival at property we found they were booked out. No room available for us. Obviously something went wrong with the booking system. We were forced to find other accommodation in a very busy Broken Hill.
