Very thing is excellent especially with the size of the room. But the room has cigarette small .

Just average

The east tower is the old building, not updated renovation. Breakfast is so so.

The attitude of the front desk is to be improved. Compared to as other hotel i lived such as Ritz Carlton, the front desk persons lack friendly and warm speaking tune. The way they picked up the phone and the tune did not sound like they are friendly.

We have stayed at Furama Hotel Dalian a few times and, having tried others for a bit of variety, we prefer to stay here. The staff provide customers with 5-star treatment and are very friendly. The facilities are good and the room/bed very comfortable.

The hotel is 5 star in all respects. The staff are very helpful, respectful and polite. The hotel is located in a respectable area in which top designer shops as Armani, Gucci, etc, are based.

I made decision to move from old building to new as condition in t old Reno was bad. But t price diff is almost double.

Attitude

The receptionist and guest center do not look friendly. When I asked some questions, they answered without smile. I have been living in Beijing and Shanghai big hotels and felt the difference of the level of services

Short stay in dalian

The hotel is conveniently located in the center of the city with easy access to all local destinations. The best part is the room size which is bigger than most hotels around. And the hotel is clean with an upscale atmosphere.

Great hotel!

Overall very good hotel and in a great location. The only part is the free airport shuttle which was stated on Kayak. There is no free airport shuttle and the hotel car costs 200 yuan.

Over priced. A bottle of water in-room of 38 RMB. There’s only one set of couches at lobby for you to sit free. The rest are for those have to buy drinks, 68 RMB for tea, 45 RMB for soft drinks, etc.

Hotel is close to the subway

Hotel room is very spacious and clean. The bed and pillow are very clean and comfortable too. The bathroom is very spacious and clean as well. Is a walking distance to Time's Square and the subway

Fantastic toilet

The toilet in the west wing is really nice. Love the toilet. The room is nice. however i was quite disappointed that they do not have usb port for charging phone in the room.

The TV reception is very bad and the wifi is worst. Seems like no one is noticing the complains raised by many business people who stayed in this hotel before

Worth Checking Out!

HIstoric hotel with modern facilities and very well staffed. My only concern was the inconsistency of the Wifi which was frustrating at times even in the business Centre. Otherwise strongly recommended.

Nice hotel

Very good location and clean. Like the toilet seat that installed with the bidet. Very quiet.

I was staying at the west wing of the hotel. The room is very big, and very comfortable. Only problem is the WIFI signal, it is very weak, and inconsistent. That maybe the only con for my staying.

Good hotel needs to clean up mold in bathroom. Beds were very comfortable and the staff was outstanding . The concierge gave us directions to get a key duplicated and was patient with us to find this location. Perfect duplicate key was made.

Aging hotel

Second stay at Furama, but will likely not return, even though I got a good rate. Check in was fine, but had to change room. Old worn out and stinking carpet. Internet did not work at first, but staff provided a router and that helped. Second room was better, but still worn out. Bed and pillows uncomfortable. Staff are nice and helpful. A real pity -- they need to upgrade facilities.

Very old, musty rooms w/ worst pillows on earth

Both my son's room and our room were very old and dated, had strong musty smell. We got grain pillows. They were hard as rock. I called to ask for softer pillows, was told that they had pillow menu. But everything I ask for was out, not sure why even bother to tell me about the pillow menu. I was promised that they would give us softer pillows next day. When we came back from sightseeing following day, we found 2 extra grain pillows on our bed!!! We have 3 people booked 2 rooms with breakfast. But the hotel only gives 1 breakfast per room. So we have to pay an extra breakfast every day not to mention food was very poor quality. We almost only ate fruits and yogurt. I have never heard of any high end hotel that offers only 1 breakfast/room, not even 3 stars. The carpet in the rooms have many holes. Internet almost unusable. The check-in staff was really unfriendly. There is nothing in this hotel gives 5 star quality.

Worthless Interent

If you're here for business, don't expect any internet. They have wifi, but it was interniddent and painfully slow. It is absolutely impossible to do business in this hotel.

House keeping was excellent with Rebecca.

Head of housekeeping was very responsive to our requests. The beds were harder than we were used to. They tried to fix them. They provided an English printed newspaper each day. The staff was helpful and professional. The hotel caters to Chinese. Very few if any other people stay at the hotel. It was very clean and did have BBC & RT on the television.

Downtown Dalian for 3 day sightseeing.

The hotel itself, whilst 5 star, felt a little "worn". Carpet could do with replacement. Overall I had a pleasant stay and would happily choose to stay here again. I found the buffet breakfast a little disappointing...... but, seriously, if that's is the biggest problem then I really didn't have much to complain about, aye! Overall great value for money for a 5 star hotel.

Hotel Furama Dalian, excellent choice

One week stay in Hotel Furama in Dalian. Excellent choice, good situated in the center of the city. Top class hotel, worth 5 star rating.

Hotel facilities excellent, room big, comfortable

Everything was terrific until my Chinese wife went to breakfast on her own. She was treated very poorly, her food was removed from the table while she was getting a beverage not once but twice and she was even asked if she was one of the kitchen staff. We have lived and stayed in many 5 star Hotels around the world and never has she been insulted in such a way and it happens in the city she was born in, unbelievable. An apology was offered by management later in the morning after I made a formal complaint, but to little to late.

Nice and large rooms. Good breakfast but a bit crowdy at times. Internet speed both for cable and wifi was among some of the worst China can offer

Best hotel shower

It's not fancy or super new hotel, but its got the most powerful shower (double shower heads) in bathroom. A couple of staff when hearing our wish to watch Liverpool game live on TV, phoned several places in town and even local TV station about the broadcast time to find out when and where the best chance could be. That's what counts for us - great service.

Suitable for business trip

Dalian Stay

The hotel was very nice and comfortable. For the price it was a great value. We enjoyed our short time there. Highly recommend the stay.

Nice experience!

Stayed in the older east wing where prices were a little cheaper. Room was very nice, big, clean and well maintained despite its age. Room service costs cheaper than other for five star place we have stayed.

Great Stay at the Furama

The hotel is very nice and the room was spacious. the only down point is the level of English at the reception that was really low when i checked in. I could barely understand the instructions given. You expect a better level in an hotel with that standing. Beside that everybody was very friendly and supportive there.

Nice hotel, convenient location

The location is perfect, and convenient to get anywhere by taxi or bus. You can find nice restaurants within walking distance. The wiki connection is free but not working all the time. They add a private router into my room but connection is still slow.

Massive clean rooms

Brilliant hotel. Centrally located in the banking/wealthy district, but not to far to walk to everything of importance. Most impressive was the size of the room, which was clean and stacked with everything you could need including a view. Great gym, great food, I could have just stayed in the hotel.

Good location in town centre

Staff trying hard to replicate service levels of branded hotel chains, good levels of English spoken compared with more traditional Chinese hotels. Not all restaurants etc were open each day.

LOCATION VERY CENTRAL , BEAUTIFUL WALKS NEAR BY AT CONFERENCE AND NEW SEA WALK PROMINADE, ALL TOP NAME SHOPS AND SHOPING CENTRES WITHIN 5 MINUTES WALK OF HOTEL.

Good hotel

Everything is perfect except the car park area is too crowded and noizy.

Excellent hotel, excellent value.

Stayed 4 weeks at this hotel while on a work assignment. Staff all polite and helpful, but only a few spoke much English. Concierge (2 with fairly good English) very helpful when I had computer and other problems. Big comfortable room, shower & separate big bath, even a bidet on the toilet (which I was never brave enough to try). Breakfasts (not included in base rate) cheaper if prepaid as part of package, extensive Chinese and western buffet, with good coffee and varieties of cappuccinos etc, not always available in China. Very good exercise room, pool, sauna. In-house restaurants OK but pricey, lots of cheaper and better alternatives. For about $100 / night it was a very good deal. Restaurants nearby - I enjoyed the Olive Garden (not one of the chain, this one is Greek food), Tiantian Seafood (Chinese), Copenhagen Café (Italian food, not Danish!), The Sushi Bar.

Air condition temperature

The air conditioner is not powerful during summer season. Please take note of that. Overall the service is good.

Great hotel, great service

We had three nights in a suite on the east wing. The check in was done on the forth floor, with extension for late check out to 4 pm which was just fantastic and allowed us to see some extra sites in the morning. The concierge was amazing providing us with great places to visit and see, and providing us with some very good eating places near by, fantastic service that was greatly appreciated, well done. House keeping services were equally good in providing us extra items when we needed them and very promptly, noting the room was spotless every time we came back to our room, great service. Tip 1. go through the shops to the side entrance of the hotel and there is a little store across the road to buy drinks and snacks at local prices. ( about 60 metres) Tip 2. There is a thai massage place across the road to the right of the front entrance which is very very good.

Wonderful stay

Everything is just perfect, as good as my last visit ten years ago. If I have to name a negative point that the trafic at the hotel entrance is terrible. The bell counter should figure out how to manage.

concierge service was fantastic

When my lugguage did not arrive with me on the plane. The concierge staff were very helpful in contacting the airline and made arrangements for my luagguage to be delivered to the Hotel by the following day. They even contacted me when it finally arrived. Well done.

Not so good 5 star

West wing has need renovated in 2009 and is very nice modern rooms. But I would expect more service and cleanses from a 5 star hotel. Reception staff or restaurant staff never smiles at you nor provide any extra service for a guest staying 24 days with them. I felt very unwelcome there. It's good for business as its located in a very convenient location but if you're looking for a relaxed stay I would not recommend it. Better stay next door in Shingrila. Much better service and atmosphere.

Great renovated room in west wing; great deal (which included breakfast); but breakfast very poor compared with its next door neighbour, Shangri La, which we rate as a much better hotel over-all - with the staff @ Shangr La being the real standout

Very satisfied

My family and I had a positive experience at the hotel. Will definitely recommend it to other travellers. One recommendation for the staff - improve the parking outside the lobby. There were cars everywhere, parking every each way - difficult and dangerous to enter the hotel.

Great hotel for business travel

Truly 5 star hotel. Excellent location and service. Hotel staff met my taxi at the hotel entrance and handed me a card of the hotel with the license plate of the taxi. This is in case I left something in the taxi, I could call the concierge with the taxi plate number and have them track my belongings my room is at least 500 square feet, with enough work surface and electrical outlets for 2 PC, between the two of us. We had 4 cell phones that need to be charged every night, and we did not have to take turns. WiFi is reliable and fast, and it is free. Buffet breakfast is of quality ingredients. Rapid check out

Nice hotel, but stiff and smoky

The bed was great. The room size was also good. However, for a non-smoking room it was barely tolerable. It absolutely reeked of smoke. Most of the staff seemed friendly but I had a few awkward encounters inquiring about things like the breakfast I had paid for (solution: go to bar and pay nearly $9 for a cup of instant coffee?) I think it is a decent place, but I ended up cancelling the rest of my reservation and moving to another local hotel (NIkko) where colleagues were staying. I ended up paying about 30% less and got a much cleaner (and smoke-free room). I felt more comfortable asking basic questions in English after I moved as well. If smoke does not bother you and you are already very comfortable in Dalian, you might enjoy this hotel.

A pleasant change from my usual Dalian base.

A very enjoyable base for 3 days of business in Dalian and definitely provides better value for money than other nearby hotels that I have used in the past.

Furama hotel dalian

This hotel i would recommend very highly. The staff where very quick to respond if there was any thing to go wrong,the internet cable in my room was bad, and before i could hang up the phone, someone was there to replace it,also if you needed more water or any other thing,it was taken care of very quickly.I think this hotel is in a very good place,with many things very handy.The food in the resturants was of very high standard. Over all if i return to Dalian again,i will will book this hotel again for sure!!!

We had a lovely room that was big enough to relax and enjoy our time in Dalian. The bathroom was unbelievable with a huge rain shower, a very deep bathtub, and a very special toilet with heat, sensor, and water to clean yourself and a television into the mirror.The buffet breakfast was fantastic with Japanese, Asian and Western food. We were impressed with the number of dishes and choices we could make. All in all we were extremely satisfied and would go back for sure. The price was low comparing with everything we had. We were in the new tower which I think is better than the older one.

Hotel Furama is full value for money, 5 Star Hotel. Excellent location and just next to hotel Shangri La, but price 40% less. I was amazed by the latest technologies in place at hotel. I have travelled to 20+ countries, but Furama stands amongst the best.

Stayed at Furama (Deluxe room/

Stayed at Furama (Deluxe room/ west-wing)on both my visits to Dalian. One of the best value five-star establishments you can find in the city. Autumn/Winter room rates hover around US$ 90, which is exceptional value. Staff are very polite and helpful and the rooms (renovated in 2009) are clean, well-equipped and spacious. Bathroom has twin sinks, a separate bath and a rain shower. A huge, comfortable bed, writing desk and free high-speed internet makes it one if the best equipped rooms in town. Location-wise, the hotel is just next to the equally swanky (but more expensive) Shangri-La and surrounded by high-end malls that carry mainly international high-fashion branded labels. It's a short 20 minute walk to Zhongshan Square and 40 minutes to the Qing Ni Wa Qiao shopping area. Both places are a breeze to walk to, especially if you're visiting during the cooler months between September and March.

Very good hotel

I stayed in Furama for several times and the recent one in January surprised me - the West Wing deluxe room was refurbished last year and truly great. Very modern and luxury. Big (really big) screen TV can be adjusted to different directions and there is even a DVD player. The bath room is spacious and there is even a TV in the bathroom mirror... and the price is good, with free internet and free breakfast, really a good deal

90分のマッサージと宿泊代が同じ価格！

部屋も綺麗にされており、スタッフも親切に対応していて総体的に満足しました。しかし、部屋に置いてある広告のマッサージを内線電話で呼んだところ、90分の全身マッサージ（アロマ）で800元も取られました。料金表の提示もなく、言い値のような対応は最低でした。本当にホテル公認のマッサージ師なのか疑います。

東館の部屋古いので、部屋も臭い

両替の際領収書がなく、依頼して発行してもらったら30元ごまかされていることに気づき抗議しました。 そもそも依頼しない限り領収書が発行されないという時点で5つ星ホテルとして信用できません。 宿泊客はビジネスセンターが利用できるようなことが書いてありましたが、入室が拒否されました。 部屋はきれいでしたが、以上により残念ながらビジネスで顧客や同僚に利用を勧めることはできません。

매번 출장 시 묵는 호텔인데, 이번에도 잘 묵고 왔습니다. 대략 출장 후 잠만 자는 형태라 주변 지역이나 다른 부분들을 챙겨보진 못 했지만 매번 가는만큼 그리 나쁘지 않은 곳 입니다.
