It was ok

Loved being right on the beach, with shaded lounge chairs to relax on. The staff was so friendly and helpful.

It is barely an all-inclusive. Breakfast and dinner time were too late. The reception desk especially in the morning is unattended. I left my wallet for a second there and was stolen. The cameras did not work. We lost the money and credit cards we had for the rest of my holidays. I returned with a sad memory.

Good for stop overs

We booked the hotel because it was cheap and on the seven miles beach. Our purpose for being in Jamaica was for business so we were out during the days and back late at night. However if we had booked the hotel as a holiday accommodation we would have been very disappointed. The rooms require upgrading as the furniture was old and had missing draws pictures old fashioned. There was not a fridge or kettle in the room. After asking they found a kettle for us with no cups no tea bags. We were told they do not provide fridges in rooms, we would have to rent one if we need one. We had no choice by to rent a fridge due to the hot climate we were in. They provide hand soap, but did not provide a soap dish to put the soap so it melted all over the top of the sink. I asked for a soap dish, I am yet to receive it. Soap was the only thing give i.e. no glasses, places to put tooth brush etc The shower was leaking and the bathroom floor was mainly wet all the time. Most of the towels we received were old. They are not generous with their towels. Overall our stay at the hotel was OK as we were out most of the time and tolerated our discomforts at the hotel. It is a good hotel for a stop over, but for a holiday accommodation this would not be my first choice

The property was a budget property not much inside of the rooms. If you’re seeking luxury this isn’t the place for you. However, the staff is very friendly with over all great hospitality.

TERRIBLE. STAY AWAY

Terrible Terrible Place. Don't go. Don't believe positive reviews-fake reviews. Front desk-terrible and no professional service. No help with luggage. Rooms terrible. No refrigerators. If you need it-pay extra. No blankets in rooms. Not enough towels. No beach towels. Food is terrible and never on-time. The breakfast, lunch and dinner can be delayed for up to 2 hours. never on time. Food is terrible and very limited and same every day as in prison. Soup is as water and not every day. Daily cabbage salat, chicken and rice. Coffee is never hot or never available. Bar is not bar at all. There is nothing drinkable in the bar. Just empty or terrible quality. Stuff not responsible and not helpful. And rude. No WIFI. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE.

The most terrible vacation EVER. Don't believe pictures. Don't believe good reviews-they are fake. Don't believe anything this place put in the advertisement. NOTHING is there. Food is terrible and extremely limited. YOU CAN CALL IT NO FOOD PLACE. IT IS NOT ALL INCLUSIVE. It is absences of anything and everything. No liquors in bar. 3 bottles of terrible rums that you can't drink. No wine. 1 bottle of red and 1 bottle of white wine barman have to go and buy in local store daily. No even coffee or hot water for tea. So called coffee is brown water and warm water. No service. No refrigerators in rooms. No blankets. No bedding changes. No towels in rooms and no beach towels. THERE IS NOTHING IN THIS OWFULL PLACE. The stuff is not helpful. If you ask for anything they say: go complain to the boss. And there is no any boss. There is no even front desk that is trained to help you or even check you in in correct way. This is just fantastically terrible place. You name any bad thing and you have it there. Even for money you can't get what you need. You need to take taxi to local supermarket to buy decent food. You need refrigerator in the room you have to pay for it extra. You pay just for terrible room, terrible service that is no service, terrible food. Food is same every day: salat, chicken/beef and rise. There is no working WIFI also. It is there but signal is of not working quality. The workers just have fun of guests and monitor your suffering.

You get what you pay for.

The property needs a remodel. We paid for an oceanview room, but didn't get. No shower head, no garbage pail, no refridgerator. The tap beer was $6, the most expensive on the beach. Other nicer places were $4 and $5. I would not recommend this resort.

For the location and the price, it had everything I needed. It was clean, the staff really looked out for us, the room was nice, had everything I needed, including an ocean view from the lovely balcony, and a hot shower, though some other guests said they weren’t getting any. We didn’t get all inclusive, but the meals I ate were delicious. The beach was amazing, of course, and there are a ton of great places to eat, drink and be merry all around. We didn’t stay long enough to try them all. I loved my stay, and if I’m back in Negril, I know I’ll be having a Fun Holiday. Ask for room A106

From time we arrived to the time we left we did not have hot water for showers. We alerted the front desk and they fixed it long enough for one hot shower. Both pool and hot tub were dirty and of course the hot tub was not hot. The staff were awesome and helpful. And is located right next to three of the busiest bars. But that also means you hear music all night long. I would compare this to a motel six on the side of the highway in a small town. Not much to look at but it was safe and the beds were clean. Food daily but don’t have much of a schedule.

The property is conveniently located about mid point along the 7 mile beach. The staff is friendly and courteous. My room was clean and well kept. Internet service was non-existent from my room and the cable tv was grainy. Dining options are minimal if you do not take the ‘All Inclusive’ option. The pool and beach view from my room was great.

I like this establishment I like the fact that I felt safe. I did not like the fact that ice was not readily available. I did not like the fact that one morning I did not have water that set activities back for the day. it was clean and it was safe and I will book again, there’s always room for improvement .

Very Basic hotel. Worth $50 a stay - not more.

Very basic hotel. Not worth $100 per night more like $50. Cat was drinking from a cup near where the tea was put off for guests. Pool was dirty. Beach was lovely. Bedroom needs updating. Only a sheet on it. No blankets. Needs pillows. 3 small flats ones on a king size bed. Not very comfortable. Takes 5 mins for hot water to kick in. Was not offered all inclusive deal but the I can see the food and drinks are very limited. Dinner wasn’t ready at 8pm. They were still cooking the buffet.

This property is dilapidated, filthy and felt unsafe . The staff at front desk was nice HOWEVER we were mislead about the pricing and when we decided to cancel the reservation they refused and charged our credit card anyway . I tried speaking with the manager/owner and he refused to help and even turned his back on me while talking and trying to resolve . I had to call my bank to cancel the charges. DO NOT BOOK!

Had bed bugs

It was nice to walk out to the beautiful white sand beach. Rooms were clean. Dining was not ok.

Good for short stay

No frills hotel, but room clean, good hot water, excellent AC, and great wi-fi. Beach front is breath taking. Walking distance to other restaurants and bars. Mattress, linens, and towels not so comfy. But, for price it’s fine. Stood here in a pinch would stay again if need be :)

The 1st room the air conditioning did not work. The 2nd room was not clean at all. There were hairs in the shower. Soap left on window.I paid for ocean view and was giving a garden view. There was no bottle water or fliter3

Bad experience

I checkin with my baby and my husband. I ask for a refrigerated at check in she said tomorrow someone will bring the refrigerator I went back to the desk three times and I still did not get the refrigerator for my baby milk. I had to buy icebox for milk and juice for my baby . Two of the lights was out in the room. I told the person that check me in it take a week for them to put bulbs in the room .The housekeeping and the guy who clean up around the pool was very nice and friendly. The people at the front desk didn’t have any personality and the ladies who work in the restaurant had no personality. I would never stay here again. My experience was not good at all.

Check in was rough we carried our luggage upstairs the air conditioning was broke so they put us in another room for the night down stairs, the next day they fixed the air so we carried everything back up stairs. The rooms are ok, but not as nice as when we stayed here a few years back

Not enough towels, dirty sheets.. house keeping refusing to change them.. to much going on. Hated this for my kids.

The beach area was good, the food was nice, the staff tried their best but the facility is a far cry from the pictures online - in fact, the pictures must have been when it was just built, but it current condition is horrendous. The facility was disappointing and while we liked the food and the beach, we would not stay there again.

The units need major upgrades especially the bathrooms. The bathtub and sink are so stained they looked dirty. We booked two rooms and both of them had inoperable remote controls to the televisions. They didn't have enough washcloths and there was no complementary shampoo or soap. In addition, there's no blankets only sheet set. If you're on a budget there's plenty other resorts in the area that are 4/5 stars for the same price. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this resort to anyone.

Boring hotel ever

Stay was ok the hotel is very boring and expensive was not please with my stay had to walk along the beach to have fun and visit over by roots cafe to get little enjoyment.

Steve, Kali, Sherise (masseuse) and both bartenders were great! House manager (Janet) was not friendly. Beach was beautiful. Housekeeping was acceptable. Food was pretty good but could use some variety especially in vegetables. Overall it was good and I would go back!

Not worth it, barely tolerable at best

Not good, owner did not respect my gold member status, made me to wait longer than neccessary in hot outdoor lobby and has no bottle water on property, tubs are horrible toilets have rust, no hand towels provided.

Amenities such as pool was not usable. All inclusive was extra unlike what was said on website. I had to pay extra for my little kids as well

Poor condition the bathroom tap did not work so i had to used the tap over the bath. Over-all the place is in very poor condition needs painting and urgent renovation. In my opinion it should be removed from listing until renovations are done!

Check in took forever. Room is bare basics. Two little bars of soap. Nothing else. They charge extra if you want a mini fridge or room safe key. Beds very uncomfortable. There was a door connecting my room to room next door and could hear voices all night long that sounded like they were in room with me. The property needs major updates. The BEST thing about this hotel is it’s beach front location.Nice spot on 7 Mile beach to watch sunsets. (Though beach loungers falling apart). They have live entertainment in evenings which is great. Walking distance to Margaritaville, Woodstock and Roots Bamboo . Ok for a no frills place for the price

The condition of the hotel was very poor to be a tourist accomodation facility, unprofessional, disorganized, they have fraud all inclusive offer and the food was always the same and very poor.

Fun Holiday Resort

Perfect location right on the beach front. Excellent service nice and friendly staff. The Entertainment is fantastic. The DJ (Country) know how to work the guest. Promote interaction.

Right spot

Location is great. Property is nice. Wifi didn’t work much of the time. Pool was green the whole stay. No beach towels as advertised. AC/water worked most/some of the time. Rooms could use some updating. People were pretty nice.

Check in service was ok, they only had 1 person working and he was doing everything. Forgot to give us our all inclusive band (maybe for the best) and did not tell us what we are entitled to. The room was big and spacious but it looked old, curtains we old, lamps did not work and we only got 2 flat sheets on the bed. The bed itself felt horrible, we could feel every spring that was in that mattress. The food, terrible couldn’t eat it at all. The one good thing about my stay at this hotel was the beach front, clean and nice.

The staff is great and went out of the way to make our trip good. The food choices were limited because the owner only allowed them to spend so much. We didn't have a safe for 5 days and no water repeatedly throughout the stay.

The service from hotel management was poor. This is a scam. Guests are hit with unexpected fees and rates even after we fully book online and confirm arrival before arriving. Stay far from this property

I read some of the reviews on fun holiday before I booked this hotel and did a video also If it was once a resort,its not because of how covid 19 has done to Jamaica The pictures of the rooms and the material used are not new anymore so expect standard service Fun holiday is a standard family own,great staff who has been working there for decades The food is good,better than many all inclusive, the price overall is reasonable I found one large ant,once inside of the sink,that seems to come up from the drain,and there still seems to be a plumbing problem,when turning on water but that is all of negril Tbe view you get his priceless,you dont need Ricks cafe to see the most amazing sunsets anymore You see the sunset right from fun holiday On the all inclusive,you need to change up what you want,if you order rice and peas and chicken they will give you that every single night until you order something else,they also cook what you want and its best to order early in the day or the day before your meals Fun holiday is for families on a budget,there were quite a few returning families there with kids And families are kept separate from single guest Janet and the young lady at front desk will help you with any problems you may have Credit cards often times dont work in Jamaica so pay in advance before you go,cash is king in Jamaica and saved your receipts I would most definitely stay there again

Stayed for 2 nights. Had a problem checking in, with my room but they manager finally worked it so I got what I reserved which was the All Inclusive Stay. The staff was very friendly and the Sheff Andrae was fabulous. Loved everything her cooked. The hotel has great potential to be a wonderful fun environment for friends and family. I just needs some Love and Care. I'm sure once the pandemic is over this place will be popping again for sure!!! I will be coming back for sure.

Unpolished Treasure

The hotel's location is the selling point, it right on the beach and close to lots of entertainment and any activity you desire. It needs some TLC, however; if your plan is to just sleep here, it's worth it and its affordable. The staff was very nice especially Andre and Orlando. We really enjoyed our week.

Great Place!

Great place, convienient to everything!

It was right on beach and Country was an excellent asset to Fun Holiday during this difficult time of covid 19. Social distancing was practiced along with hand sanitizing. A female manager of the kitchen etc made sure to cook us really good meals after offering us a few choices.

The staff were very nice. When i had a problem with stopped up drain in tub and ants in bathroom, they didn't handle the situation in a timely manner.

Liked closeness to beach, friendly staff, yard between two buildings, balcony to view sea from, the spacious room and bath room, (stayed only 0ne night, did not get to try food or pool. Not liked; Jacuzzi not working, ganga smoking outside of specified area (up stairs so that it smelled in the area by room)

I enjoyed the effort put into entertainment and every aspect of service but the parking situation was aggravating. The security guard on duty tried his best to accomodate me and that was appreciated.

We are repeat customers to Fun Holiday. The food is delicious the staff are great. It's not a 5 star hotel but it's cozy and comfortable. The price is why we started going and we keep returning.

WOW Beach Front

I had a wonderful trip and the beach was amazing!

Staff and Management were awesome pool very dirty hot tub dirty no swim-up bar. If you looking for a 3 or 4-star resort this is not for you it is a 2 star but you get what you pay for.

The worst experience. My room smelled like sewage for 5 days until they moved me. The food was poor quality and the same everyday. The best thing they is Country who planned us an excellent party for our daughter and Kept us entertain during our trip. If u stay they don’t do all inclusive it is not worth it.

Stay was horrible only thing that was good was the hot water

First of all the pictures u see looks amazing but when u actually go its different the pool needs cleaning or paint or something but it looks dirty the bed is old spring bed from the 80s and they dont change the sheets on a daily basis they only remade the bed we had to pay deposit for beach towels and when we got the towels they were so old battered worn and torn to the point where we didnt even use them the staff eats breakfast in guest area in front of the guest they talk whatever in front of the guest...overall the dining room area needs to redone oh and the bar is a sick joke of a bar we didn't even tried to get anything there because of how it looks this resort needs a lot of fixing up or new management and there were times we saw peope at the resort which werent checked in the resort so is that place really safe???

Cleanliness and response to issues. Broken pipes and ants

The location of this property is perfect. The staff are friendly. The food is ok. This resort needs a lot of TLC. I visited this resort 5 years ago and it really has diminished. If you are a no frills traveller this resort is for you but if you expecting more than this resort is not for you.

Staff is extremely nice and polite and friendly, Miss Val is one of the nicest lady I’ve meet . Went in March, April and August that time with my kids and ive always been welcomed with open arms. Small beautiful comfy friendly are adjectives that fits the fun holiday 😎😎😎

Everything was misleading and not what I was looking for

My room had ants, the shower curtain had mole on it. The staff was very friendly and food was great.

The meals were basic and lacked balance, it was also difficult to serve ourselves because if the set up. The wi-fi didn’t work at all and when I complained all I got was it’s not our fault it’s the internet providers.

I liked that it catered to families as I was travelling with my child. I didn't like that from the day we checked in the toilet was backed up and so we couldn't use it

This property was the most unsanitary and worst experience of my travels. There was mold growing on the walls in the rooms. A broken window as you come in. The beds were hard and dirty. The walls were stained with bleach spots and The staff acted as if it was common. I had to advise them of the health problems that can come from mold exposure and I had an infant with me. They could not provide another room for the night so we spent one night then paid 100 more per night to move to another hotel the next day to finish our trip. Then I had to argue with them and wait for hours for confirmation that we would get a refund on the rooms

Very quiet and nice staff very helpful food was the same almost every night but it was good

Ioved our roim n the staff were friendly. Just a bad experience with the security guard becuase im married to local jamaica guy n stopped n questioned us. He did apologize later.

To whom it may concern, The staff were amazing! They went above and beyond to help us through our last minute situation. But other than the flatscreen tv, the room needed updating. The toilet we had to pour water in it to get it to flush properly and stop making noise. The headboards that were attached to the walls were filled with dust and set off my allergies. Safes looked broken, bathroom counter was uneven, didn't come with shampoo/ conditioner/ lotion, just bar soap. Labeled as a resort, it creates certain expectations that were not met. The pool and hot tub were great, beachfront location was awesome, the food was regular resort food with a splash of Jamaica. The staff were the best, most hospitable service providers I've had on the island this far. They made the experience so much better than it should have been. Nathaniel

I loved that it was right on beach all though it's a small beach area and the chairs and umbrellas get taken right away. I also noticed that people put their towels or stuff on the chairs and didn't use them for hours. I think the hotel should move items form the beach chairs if no one returns after two hours or so. You also should bring your own beach towels because they ran out and you also have to pay $5 to use their towels but you get that $5 back so it's like a deposit to use their towels if they have them.. The rooms are ok, you get charged $5 a day to use the safe and the fridge. The front desk staff is nice especially Nykesha (I think I spelled her name wrong). Overall decent hotel.

The room had no amenities. ( No refrigerator, no microwave, no working A/C) Bugs in the room, mosquito and ants. Never changed towels. Ran out of water. No ice. Not a secure room. Online images were extremely misleading. Not worth the price.

Smelly pillows...leaking a/c....room and my clothes smells of cigarettes or whatever who was there before smoking...i ask for non smoking room..but i end up getting a room with ashtray on the patio...i just shake my head...I realky like the place...just a few mishaps

Probable one of the best spots in all of Jamaica as far as the beach and ocean conditions with the water being calm. But it is in a area that has a lot of locals selling anything and everything and the security as far as not letting them linger needs to be improved.

Lovely hotel, can see renovation has started. Bar man is great as well as the restaurant staff, they made my stay welcoming. The manager who recently started believe from England, very unprofessional. Spoke to her staff in a very demeaning way and vwry rude knowing guests were around, she could try to smile a little and at least look haply around guest. Was a slight put off.

This was our third trip, and will continue to be our resort of choice. The staff is incredible, the rooms are clean and well air conditioned. The beds are comfortable. The beach remains amazing! And so close. This place feels like home away from home. The food is sometimes repetitive, but if you ask, they’ll make you almost anything! And the value is so great that if you want to check out another place for dinner, you don’t feel guilty. The entertainment provided by our guy “Country” is fun and great, and bartender Shaggy will always take care of your drink needs! Try the Blue Lagoon! SO good!

Noisy. Under construction. All day hammering and noisy. starting at 6AM. Paper thin walls. Could hear neighbor coughing hacking and snoring and all conversations. Nice beach. Terrible pool.

A gem on the beach

This was a little gem ... the rooms are simple not luxurious like other resorts but it’s clean has AC and it’s right on 7 mile beach in Negril The staff are awesome especially the front desk .. very accommodating .. your right smack in the middle of everything Walking distance from the nightclub Jungle ... amazing food look for “the sweet spot “ their oxtails and stew beef omg Overall I would def stay here again The price is unbeatable and the facility charming Will be back

motel was overall ok staff was very friendly and helpfull, all in option is not worth the money because very limited variation on food almost every day same items same with the bar drinks looks great but almost to not any alcohol mixed in
