The room stank really bad, the AC unit sounded like a semi driving through the room & when checking I told the 2 guys at the front desk I wanted to check out at 4:30-5am & they said no problem, just call front desk for damage deposit refund. Nobody answered the call when trying to check out at 4:35am, didn’t get checked out until 6am. Put me way behind schedule
Felt unsafe walking there. Very run down building, furniture. Needs a complete overhaul. Ice layer which was of a dark colour, was built up in fridge. The people, however, were polite and helpful.
Half smoked ciggerate in the sink so cleaning wasnt a priority. Staff lied about airport shuttle so had to pay for taxi. Staff was not around to check out at 830. Even the hot and cold water taps were on backwards. Tub hot water didnt work. I understand at that price you get what you pay for but come on.
It was ok! Clean and relatively quiet, but was surprised being asked to pay $100 for damages. Never had that happen before at other places. They returned the charge but still…. Wondering why they do that because they didn’t check the room as I checked out anyway. Doesn’t make sense
Room smells of wet dog even though no pets allowed in room Very worn down, could use at least a coat of paint. Dirt on floors & bed Won’t be staying here again
I'll start by recognizing that I chose this place because it was the cheapest option in PG. That said, while the floors had been swept, they were noticeably dirty when walking with socks and there were burn holes in multiple spots. The bedframe was put together with seemingly random pieces of wood, as well as the shelf beside the bed. The room had an overpowering smell of cleaning products and cigarettes. The bedding and towels were clean, and the bathroom was acceptable. The check-in was great, and the staff were pleasant. If I were to stay in PG again, I would spend a few extra bucks to stay somewhere else, but if you want to stay somewhere cheap, this spot will be fine.
noisy all hours of the night
Price is reasonable but be mindful, property offers no transfer from or to the airport.
they do not offer shuttle service tho adverised
Great value
Clean, comfy and had extreme value with a hot plate, microwave, utility sink and fridge all built in!
The room was quite nice, although it hadn’t been kept in perfect condition. It was not very clean, though. The receptionist was very helpful and friendly.
Easy access to room
Fast service and friendly staff. Very helpful
Everything!
If you are traveling through Prince George and want to stay in clean place and reasonably priced than this is the place.
It’s ok only if you are looking for a budget friendly one.
Staff was friendly and helpful. Room had hot stovetop but no microwave or plaatic cups for deinking. Fridge had no shelfs
Double billed. No light in bathroom. No towels. Thin blanket tucked in underneath sheet? Front desk difficult to understand. Run down facility.
Staff very polite and friendly.
Terrible experience
THE ROOM WAS SMELLY, BEDDINGS LOOKS LIKE IT WAS NOT WASH, ROOM WAS DIRTY, LEAK ON THE SINK, A LOT OF BUM ROAMING AROUND THE HOTEL. NOT SAFE I WOULD NOT COME BACK TO THIS HOTEL
Good
Clean
The air conditioner was so loud we needed to watch TV with CC since the room was hot and there was only one window without safety bars. There were people in the church yard across from us who were shooting up. The bathroom also in need of repairs.
I booked from the U.S because the border required it. The border turned us away because my child wasn’t vaccinated. I tried to cancel because we wouldn’t even be in the country (ahead of time) and I was refused a refund.
Walls painted, but not cut in. Fridge didn't work. Sheets were stained. Only two thin pillows. No shampoo. Toilet leaked. Office and staff smelled strongly of pot. Definitely would not stay here again.
The room given to us was supposed to be a non-smoking one. When we checked-in, the room was full of smoke smell—on the mattress/ sheets etc. My partner had even noted some uncleaned red spots on the floor—and the smoke detector was loosened; possibly shut off. Clearly shows the housekeeping work wasn't done thoroughly after the previous guest left. The front desk/ manager never picks up calls (called several times for room change) when we dial "0" from room or call the direct hotel number—goes to voicemail with no space to leave a message. Poor service and dirty place. We were so tired after all day of traveling on 4 different flights to get to Prince George and hence we had no energy to waste our time much longer!
Drug area
People were nice, bed comfortable and bathroom clean. Floor in room was dirty blackened my feet.
Clean place with friendly and helpful manager for a quick overnight but wifi isn’t great and air conditioner is loud. Neighborhood is a bit rough too but management makes an effort with great security
Checked in later at night there was no one in the office after I buzzed….. lots of people outside drinking and partying. Manager finally came over he said sorry I was smoking a joint. Very creepy place with a lot of addicts around. Didn’t feel safe at all. Room was horrible, old and not clean, reeked of a strange smell as soon as you opened the door. The place looked like a run down hotel you would see on a horror movie. Not a safe place to stay with a lot of drug addicts around I stayed for 1/2 an hour then took off after I realized how bad of a location this was. DO NOT STAY HERE
Don’t stay here!!
Really old uncared for building. The “No refund” SHOULD HAVE MADE ME AWARE. The bug spray with dead bugs on the sheets also the bug spray odor was extensive. It too 2 hours to clear the smell out of the room. I had requested a king bed but we were given a queen with no discount. Unfinished woodwork with all water lines open to the eye. Pluses was a new commode and new mattress that was solid as a board.
Staff were amazing, helpful and friendly. Beds were super high up and we needed a chair to get on lol. Price was great, got a small kitchenette with random kitchen items (toaster, kettle, plasticware) no pots or pans, it does have a microwave, stove and mini fridge. The shower curtain was not clean (shampoo crusted to it, blood was visibly sprayed on curtain, looked above and there was blood on the ceiling). Shower itself had a hair and was not wiped. Price was great, staff amazing.
The worst ever stay
this by far is the worst experience i ever had.i was sworn at by both managers, treated very badly almost 2 weeks no cleaning, i had to do myself,if you like to stay where drug dealers and pimps this the place.also witnessed a killing infront of me,they also ripped me off last four days refund. "Bad bad motel "
Awesome management staff who treated us to incredible hospitality… made us feel more than just welcome. Older downtown facility, but clean and serviceable… well managed!
We didn’t get to stay there after all because they double booked us. They transferred us to the Econo Lodge, which was very good. We have no complaints. The venue was much closer to the conference venue.
It met our needs for this stay. Could have used another lamp by the bed and another chair for sitting would have been welcome. Otherwise it served us well.
The property is close to a lovely Memorial Park along the Fraser River.
Gems of Managers
The absolute best thing about the hotel are the amazing managers!! They really care about having good customers taken care of very well. Crystal and Guy are absolute gems. The hotel needs work but these managers are working hard to improve the property and assure customers safety and comfort
There is a kitchenette in the room including some pots and pans. Bed was comfortable, everything worked.
Lady that ran the place was nice enough but the place is old AF and has long term renters staying in it. Not only are they all loud but quite a sketchy place at best. We had some woman hunting down her man in one of the rooms in a violent rage and some crackhead looking for “her cousin”. I am not looking to judge people for how they choose to live but I will say, if your facility is a long term rental keep it that only, do not advertise it as a hotel!
I reserved a room to stay in after my 9.5 hour drive from Alberta and apon my arrival they tell me they had to sell my room to another person that came in only minutes before me even tho I had reserved the room. But the place was very gross and was falling apart in the outside so kidna glad I didn’t have to pay to stay there.
It think more attention needs to be paid on cleanness. Washroom wasnot properly cleaned.
Friendly staff, rooms are clean and recently updated.AC was working but noisy fan. Parking lot entrance was extremely rough with large pot holes, definitely in need of attention
Great place to stay walkable to down town, really nice staff!
People next door were noisy at 2am. Bathroom could have used washcloths and an extra bath towel. Receptionist was very friendly and helpful. We did, however, get a room that had a sink and cooktop which was pleasantly unexpected.
Room needed work - gouges in the walls, chair was missing an armrest, had to physically pick up the microwave and move it because the cord did not reach a power outlet, non-smoking room but the desk was covered in burn marks.
This place was very professional and clean. The staff are very friendly and family oriented. They provide wonderful service. I was also really impressed with their pet friendly policy and the fact that there is an off leash dog park one street over! They made us feel so welcome and appreciated. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Fraser Inn.
The pictures online did not show the state of the property. It was filthy and we were not able to stay there. The staff did understand and helped us get in at the econo lodge
It is an inexpensive hotel that has some questionable painting but until new management has been adequate. Staffing may be an issue.
Nothing Poor condition
Gross
This place was very filthy, the towels were full of brown stains. The bed had stains.
Best deal I've ever had on a room.
The best price in Prince George. I expected way worse than I found. I've paid much more in much smaller towns for a lot less. Very personable staff, modernized room. Sadly was cleaned poorly, apparently the cleaning staff didn't know how to rinse out the washcloth or change out the mop water. Told front desk the next morning and they assured me it would be rectified.
We booked at the Fraser but were re routed to a sister hotel. I booked a kitchenette, did not get one, even got a broken coffee pot. Homeless and street people constantly in parking lot, garbage lit on fire. Key cards constantly need to be re done. Room was half finished.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean and comfortable room. Great value. Not unexpectedly for this price range, room was not perfect. Minor things like ink stains on blanket, loose towel rack. I’d be glad to stay there again. Expedia listing mentioned free airport shuttle which is not the case. However there are easy options available in Prince George - taxis, shuttle buses etc.
Nice guy at the front. Decent cheap stay.
Well first of all the tv didn't work, the east Indian girl was rude and ignorant and completely unhelpful. And my favorite is that they didn't want to refund me when I tried checking out an hour later after sitting there with a broken tv. Thankfully Expedia made it right and checked me into the super 8 instead. Oh and yes one more thing. Unless you actually want to be asked if you are interested in a $50 date every 5 minutes I would avoid this location. Every 5 minutes the hookers and crackheads walk by. This is literally located in the hooker and crackhead heart of the city. Never again
The room smelled like old stale tobacco smoke. The walls were half painted and the walls are paper thin.
Pleasant stay
Very nice stay. The owner was very kind and quickly helped us get stuff for our room when we needed it. Room was tidy. Road here is less busy/noisy than other hotels nearby
worked well for me
Dissappointed about being lied to by staff.
I was told by the hotel office Clerk I could have the same room next day for the same price then they chagred me $75 instead of $63. Ceiling fan in bathroom was loud and screaming when turned on and the toilet seat was falling off the toilet.
Nothing fancy but clean and friendly.
Check in terrible. Arrived 8:15 pm went to check in nobody on desk. Phone intercom not working. Stood outside in rain five phone calls later girl answers phone told her I was there to check in. Completed that finally with very cold reception Good thing showered before going to town two hand towels in bathroom. Not very excited about returning if ever
my stay was good but because of my feeble health condition, the height of the bed was challenging. owners were friendly and helpful. couldn't figure out how to turn the tv off, so it stayed on my full time there.
Sketchy
Sketchy! Wouldn't even give me a key to my room. Was worried the sheets hadn't been washed. Had a pretty high rating on here! Never would have booked here otherwise
Advertised as non smoking. Rooms smelled so bad with smoke we could not stay there. Advertised as free cancellation but my visa was charged $75.00 which I am going to fight
clean appealing as soon as you walk in
Very professional, helpful and pleasant front desk staff considering the ungodly time of my late arrival. Thank you very much sir. K Cuthill
The amount of drug addicts around the building
Clean, convenient
Smell of the room was terrible, not related to smell of pulp mills in area. Bed springs were broken in bed, making it slope and uneven. Very obvious drug/prostitution activity in rooms adjacent to ours. Would avoid this motel unless you can’t afford another.
Staff is very helpful and friendly. Great location and easy to get to.
Exactly what you can expect for its price. Showing its age, but still fine. Not a lot of parking, nothing interesting in the immediate vicinity tho close to a nice-looking park.
extremely poor customer service
This place was awesome!

Pretty decent, got what I paid for.
Staff was helpful, rooms were certainly worn but not filthy.
