Will stay again! Excellent hotel, clean, comfortable rooms and beds.
Had a good stay
I took my family for a night and was very pleased with my stay. I really liked the style of the room and cleanliness. The beds were super comfy and the staff no issues with. The pool was ok but small. At least there was a waterslide. I’d come back :)
Was ok. Could use some maintenance. My partner had to shovel the snow off the main entrance in the morning though cuz no staff at the hotel did it.
Pool had some kind of chemical that gave a rash and was dirty
Very loud, people partying all night and the staff wouldn’t do anything.
Check i.n was fast and professionally done..desk clerk was friendly n kind..
Enjoyed our stay
Our stay was ok. Check-in and check-out great. Restaurant hours are screwy. Sign said “open at 7 for breakfast”. Went for breakfast. Not open. Finally opened at 8. Good breakfast & nice and hot & fresh. NO 24 hour coffee station, yet they have a place for it. Not impressed. Have coffee in room , crappy coffee. Beds & pillows comfy, shower good.
Disappointed- hotel needs a refresh.
The hotel USED to be a fantastic place to stay. Our hotel room was very well used. There was crayon on the walls and the lamp shade, the remote and phone were FILTHY. The tile in the bathroom cracked and so was the sink. the trim around the door in the bathroom was moldy from the shower. The linin was clean, however the mattresses when pulled back the sheet we noticed was grossly stained!!. It also was a stifling 72F in there when we walked in. To top it all off - nothing but young hockey players running up and down the hall until 2am, and the alarm clock was set for 6am! So thanks for that. we got little sleep in a very gross uncomfortable room. What happened to the Sheraton?!!! In the am the kids went swimming. I have never witnessed a grosser pool. cracked, and filthy lining. the hot tub had scum floating. The water slide was out of order dispite a note on the door saying "turned on upon request". we asked the front desk employee twice to turn it on. It was not busy so not sure why our request was ignored. I wish the front desk employee would've asked how our stay was. I don't think we will ever stay there again. It used to be nice and comfortable, in a convenient location in the city. Very unfortunate.
Happy with our experience.
Was quite and safe. Like the underground parking
My stay was good, may return next time I’m in the city. Was disappointed with the hot tub though, heat was almost adequate but the jets did not work.
Nice stay. Front staff and waitress very accommodating
Maintence of the room was poor. Textured wall had a patch that had been poorly glued over top of whatever issue was existing and was lifting at the edges. The light fixture cover in the shower was not sealed. Light could be seen between the fixture cover and the ceiling. Walls and shower showed poor cleanliness, with pink mold and scale/build up around the edges of the shower glass.
We enjoyed our stay, but the hotel looks tired. Missing knobs on doors, tiles looking like there about to fall off the shower, and holes that need patching as well as a patch in the wall appear where it looks like they’ve cut a hole in behind that was poorly patched. The beds were super comfortable and rooms were clean.
Good hotek
Awesome
They were accommodating to my needs
Room was clean and bed was comfortable
Overall is was excellent except for a qroup of indigenous individuals being loud outside in the parking lot.
We stayed here when it was new, several years ago. The service and cleanliness was good, and no issues, but it doesn’t appear much work has been done over the years to update or repair minor things like chips to moulding, stains , or scratches in elevators and on other shiny surfaces. Minor, but noticed.
Great place, a tad out dated, staff amazing!
I thought our room was dated and dirty. Not worth the money I spent.
Not so Great
Upon arrive you are greeted by the glorious smell of weed… The bathroom had mold in it… that should have been our first clue. The mini fridge leaked all night long and there was a huge puddle in the morning—we didn’t even use the fridge. The cold water tap leaked like no tomorrow when trying to wash our hands. The bathroom fan took forever to turn on. Just pick another hotel. This one isn’t worth it for the price.
meh
no free breakfast, and hot tub's jets weren't working properly. otherwise, zero complaints, love that the place actually SMELLS CLEAN once the cleaners are done.
👌👍
Great
Once we were in the room, this place was great. There were many people there when we stayed. We didn’t feel like we could go out at night.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. For what we paid, breakfast should be included and the room needs some paint.
Nice overall. Thin walls. Could here everything in hallway and above. Shower had a bit of mold. Otherwise pretty good.
Stayed for a week. Very quiet and staff were friendly. Rooms quite clean. Only drawback was access to only one washer and dryer so made it hard to get. Would highly recommend to anyone to stay there.
Place was pretty good
Good
Lobby looks nice and the staff are great and friendly. The walls are very thin. I could hear everything in the room next to me. The rooms are a little old and tired and some recent renovations had been made to the bathroom in my room but there were still holes in the wall. The beds weren’t great as it felt like the mattress was so for an upgrade. The staff was wonderful but outside of the lobby everything is looking tired.
It was okay…
Overall okay! First the bad: Our initial impression was very poor as there were a few individuals smoking pot at the front entrance. This made us a bit weary as we had small children with us. The staff was not the friendliest either. We asked for napkins from the front desk for the pizza we ordered, and they questioned us intensely such as asking our names and room number. Seemed a bit unnecessary for some napkins. There were also armoured security guard roaming the lobby when we returned with our pizza. Made us question why that was necessary to have. The good: Despite these things, the room was excellent. Very clean, comfortable, and we all had a great sleep. Beds were comfortable. Location was convenient for visiting family.
Everything
The language barrier was evident with housekeeping they never understood what you wanted and the towel supply was inadequate so you had to ask for more face cloths towels etc. a double room with four people in our group was given two towels and we stayed two nights. Also the building g seems to have issues with the elevator and moving structure esp on the top floor. Floors in rooms shouldn’t move and the ceiling has many cracks indicating structural issues .
The pool area was great.
Choose this hotel because of the location and it had a pool slide for my child.
Great bed and pillows! Helpful staff. But very slippery shower and no visible mat to stand on.
Stay was good. Pool needs some maintenance and hot tub didn’t work. Staff was excellent.
Mattress could use an upgrade had a terrible sleep very noisy in hallway most of the night
The hotel was close to where I wanted to be and had nice retail stores in the area.the staff were great and helpful The restaurant/lounge was great. Very nice staff and had the best sweet potato fries I have ever had. The first night was noisy with a sports team there. Had I known that I would have booked on another floor Parking was great! My only issue is that the shower floor was texturized nor had a mat in it so was a little slippery. I have read other reviews that mentioned nasty people and a bad area, I did not experience that. Would stay there again. LMH
If we go again we will ask for the top floor…poor sound insulation. I found the rooms comfortable and nicely decorated.
Parking lot. The stalls are too small, my car got a major dent in the back door from next stall car door hitting our door.
Everything was good
Going to check out the pool. Nice place for family
I don’t like the television stations that are available at the hotel. Our room had two missing knobs on the wardrobe as well which could have been a little dangerous if we got too close to it.
Four Points Sheraton in Saskatoon disappointing
We spent over $200 plus taxes, to sleep in THE worst bed ever, in a room that was so hot that none of used blankets. There were exactly 3 pool chairs available, and 2 of them were broken & unusable. Kids were told to.leave the pool area 15 mins early by the grumpiest man ive ever seen working. Breakfast took forever and all of our hashbrowns were cold. Uon checkout, when i tried to voice our complaints, i was blithely told "thankyou for coming, we are glad you enjoyed your stay". Do i sound like we enjoyed our stay?
A
Overall, the room was adequate. It was large which was good as we were four adults in the room. That being said, we were only given two large bath towels, two face cloths and two hand towels, there were only two coffee mugs in the room and the coffee selection included a single serving of regular coffee or two single servings of decaf. Not enough for four adults. Called down to the desk two different times for items (coffee, cups and towels) which never arrived. Had to go to the desk to get them. Front desk staff was no help on a holiday Monday morning in helping us find somewhere for breakfast. Neglected to tell us that the hotel restaurant would open at 8:00 a.m. when we were looking for breakfast at 7:40 a.m. ended up randomly driving around and happened upon a Cora's restaurant that was open, thankfully. When we did eat in the hotel restaurant the food was very good, better than expected even. Breakfast staff was super friendly and attentive, dinner service was much, much slower, almost non-existent. Overall, the room served the purpose as we were really just there to sleep then gone all day. We found if we left a note for cleaning staff we could get the extra coffee and other items we needed. Would stay here again as the location is good for my needs. Might not put four adults in the same room again though, seems to be more than what the hotel expects.
Parking lot was extremely icy and it didn't appear that sand/salt was added to the walkways.
Using the stairs in the west hallway, cut my finger on a screw that they used to repair the banister.
Average hotel! The rooms are not at all sound proof. Kids running around in the hallway. Sketchy area with interesting people. Would never recommend
Pricey hotel.
Hotel is just ok. A bit dated. Very good location. Near to shop & restaurant. What pill down the rate is that we reported about the children noise, screaming & running at the hallway even after 11pm! Nothing was done. It was not a restful night. It will be our first & last stay.
This place has turned into a hinge hole in a decade. Low end customers. Not a typical four points .
Dodgy place with yelling and swearing at 2 am and sketchy looking people around
The area is great, staff was fantastic and polite! The beds were really hard. I could also hear the elevator bell every time someone came to our floor. The bell could be on a night mode where it was quieted during quiet times.
Friendly staff, clean rooms
The rooms are far from quiet. The room above us was so loud till past 2am. Front desk wasn't helpful. Would only recommend staying on the top floor.
Very rude staff at front desk, not enough cameras for the types of people that stay there with liquor available downstairs as we had an instance with a drunk rude hotel guest and felt unsafe in the elevators, ghetto
Rough!!
Hotel itself was meh, okay. People staying in hotel ROUGH!!! Intoxicated and drunk people everywhere. Police came twice in lobby for stay because of guests. Wouldn’t bring my kids back here, definelty didn’t feel safe with them in elevators/hallway. It was quite the experience!
Clean and easy to get places
Clean and Comfort
Had to ask for our deposit back as well as the man in the front desk ask how our stays was and pressured us into giving a high review saying “ You know if you don’t give us below 8 it’s a fail, so I’ll be expecting a 10 from you?” Waiting 20 minutes for our money back when they said 5, as they were waiting from a phone call.. after the 20 minutes the front desk lady said “oh we got the call, you can put it”. Super unprofessional and no urgency as we have a work meeting at 11:30 but we’re late because it took in total 30 minutes.
The property met my expectations. Front desk staff was excellent.
I will never stay in this hotel again.
Appreciate the good service, great room and location.
hotel was average, could use a bit of cleaning around the outside (there was a piece of clothing and garbage outside the entrance on the ground both days that no one had picked up. Staff seemed nice, except for one guy in the pool area
Zahid at the front desk kindly accommodated my request for a late departure. Nice option in Saskatoon.
I like the location but not much else. We stayed 2 nights. Our room was not attended to during the day so we had to call down for clean towels, etc. There was a big gross stain on the white bed spread. Cleanliness of halls and elevators was lacking as well.
Enjoyed our stay, was a bit of noise from the hallways but nothing that was an issue.
We really loved the staff so kind and helped us so fast and efficiently. Found the pool a bit unclean and in room 407 the shower was not working properly taps were opposite ways, I would recommend cleaning the carpets a bit better in room 405 our carpets were dirty. The beds were so comfortable and I enjoyed having a crib to borrow for my baby.
It was restful
The bathroom needs some TLC.
Check in was a breeze. We requested a vase which they provided in minutes
Some repairs needed, probably was damage by a customer but our bathroom and several cracked, broken tiles on the floor. Otherwise stay was ok
Very clean hotel
great customer service from personal and good quality on cleaning the rooms, you don t see that too often in hotels
Stairs not convenient option, as they are at far ends of building, so the only 2 elevators are popular. only ice machine in building is on main floor which is a pain in the ass and could be easily improved. Staff are great and food in restaurant is great.
Not friendly front staff. Beds in our room were old.. when sitting on the edge of the bed felt & sounded like springs would pop out
Pool was out of order and the smoke pit is right outside the front door- and was always in use. Have to hold your breath every time you come or go.
This property needs some work used to be so much better. Not so much any more
I thought the hotel was in a good location.
Booked it as a family get away stress reliever only to find out the hot tube was out of service - was not told until after check in
It was so close to shopping and cafes and just fun exploring neighborhood.
Not what I expected for price.
I booked two rooms for a family event in Saskatoon. One room (308) the thermostat did not work at all. Too hot for sleeping. Took my grandchildren to the pool Saturday night. There was a group of 15-20 children unsupervised and disruptive. Very loud banging on the waterslide, screaming, roughhousing. We could not stay. Sunday morning we went back to pool to be told it would be closed for 4 days??? Not surprised, but kids were very disappointed! I paid over 200$ for each of these rooms. Only one room was booked through hotels.com. I would never recommend this hotel. This hotel is a 3 dressed up as an 8. Had a stale, old small of smoke. Must have been a smoking allowed building previously.
Outside the door where 100a of cigarette butts, no hair dryer, kids running around slamming door until 1:30am and again at 7:00 am. Worst stay ever. Never again. Keep all the teams in one floor .
Amazing hotel
First, Expedia prices were more expensive than if I just called the hotel and got my union rate!! Frustrating! The bar didn’t have food past 9:30!! Housekeeping cleaned garbage and took dirty towels but didn’t replace or clean anything even with a 3 night stay! Evading! The one rep Andrew was amazing and accommodating when we needed to extend our stay, the morning staff not so much! They were happier when we left in the morning. The hot tub was not working and the pool hours said 9am but clearly people didn’t listen cause they were there after 8. Location of hotel is great
Bret was not included.
Hotel was looking much rougher since the last time I had stayed there. Room itself was good.
Pool was closed over family day weekend. Nothing on the website nor mentioned at check in. When asked was given a shrug as to what was wrong. Specifically asked for clean towels each day (2rooms x3 nights, 6 people total). Got 2 towels in each room to start and no extras when asked. No change of towels on morning 2. Morning 3 only got 1 towel in both rooms. No hand towels. I have no issue with not changing sheets but at the bare minimum make the beds and empty the garbage. Eco- they have dispensers in the showers but empty and small bottles on the sink (which again were not restocked even when requested). Coffee supplies were also not refilled despite requesting. Fridges either froze the food or heated it depending on which shelf you left stuff on. Overall was a huge disappointment and won’t be back when there are many other hotels in the area.
Convenient location. Pool/waterslide was out of order (booked for this reason), and no where did they state that before I booked. Told me as I checked in, they knew I wasn't happy but didn't offer any solution. Contacted Expedia and they were helpful but because I had checked in I could not get a refund. I got a $30 Expedia credit and was given the option to talk to the front desk about going to another hotel to use their pool. Decided thay was more inconvenient. Stayed the night and left early in the morning, was not interested in staying any longer. Room was clean but needs to be repainted, water stains on ceiling, just worn looking.
It was convenient to get to.
Great location! Close to shopping and restaurants. Staff is very friendly.
My family and I have stayed here multiple times over the years, and had probably a dozen rooms this weekend. The service in the restaurant was slow, the staff would not help since no luggage carts were available all weekend. It was just an overall disappointment after so many years of good experiences. Sadly, this hotel is now off our family list.
Check- in was good. They need to update their website as there was no continental breakfast on Sunday, restaurant changed ownership and not as good. We were looking forward to their menu, but changed our minds and went elsewhere. Restaurant doesn’t open till 8 a.m. Not convenient for us as early risers. Went elsewhere. Not happy and will not stay there again.
Not a 4 star in my opinion
Four Points by Sheraton Saskatoon | Hotel in Saskatoon | Travala.com
The hotel was clean, the bedding was very nice however we were scared awake by the extremely loud cleanng staff in the morning. They were so loud and parked right outside our door.
