Unfriendly staff. No remote for TV and staff would not help us locate another, move us to another room, or give us a credit. Room had food on the wall and large water spot on the ceiling.
The staff was fabulous!! Friendly, welcoming, knowledgeable, accommodating.
The hotel clerk was very friendly and did a thorough check in. He told us in detail about the restaurants at the hotel and the types of food offered and answered all our questions.
Great hotel with lots of amenities! Beautiful lobby that felt cozy after being in the cold rain. Great room with a kitchenette and large screen tv.
Quick response in fixing hot tubs jets. Thanks.
Staff was 10 out of 10! The lady that checked us in was great! The guy who worked the evening that plays the piano was so helpful. We had a large group, we played games and had dinner in the gathering area. He went above and beyond
Great place to stay!
Front desk staff was exceptional. The room was very clean & comfortable.
Friendly staff
We hoped to use the hot tub but it was under construction during our stay. Otherwise, our stay was good and the hotel fit our needs with being pet friendly. Thankfully they had a pet friendly room available at check in because they were not aware that we requested it when we made the reservation. It all worked out in the end and the staff was able to accommodate us.
The staff were amazing. The reception area was very welcoming and inviting. The staff exceeded my expectations.
Perfect location!!
A little confusing driving in on where and when to turn but we got there.
I liked the quiet, clean, well kept property. I was disappointed at the breakfast options with expensive muffins and cold cereal packages; it would be nice to have free breakfast buffet.
We arrived late to only stay one night. We had a room for handicapped on the first floor. We were comfortable in this room and i think we would've enjoyed the hotel more if we stayed longer. There are dark shades and it wasn't too loud, even though our room was located at the end room near the other entrance. The lobby looked nice and the front desk checked us in quickly. Our refrigerator was off when we arrived so i had to turn it on to keep our sandwiches and fruit cold for the next day.
Staff was friendly. The hot tub has peeling paint that floats in the water and looks awful. That really needs to be repaired ASAP. We did not eat at the hotel so can’t review the food but breakfast is not included in the room. If not a Marriott member, you are expected to log into your own Netflix and YouTube accounts and no free WiFi was disappointing. The lobby renovations look nice so I hope further repairs will be done to the place.
Easy check in
I rated Four points a 3 based on price. It was nice, we weren’t unhappy but given the price we paid, it was poor value. In a follow up trip we stayed at the hotel across the street for $75 Canadian cheaper a night
Property is very dated and not typical of most Marriotts I’ve stayed at. It’s in need of a facelift or renovation including the room amenities.
A bit expensive for no daily service and no provided breakfast! It is a bit disheartening to have to clean your own room on vacation. It was a stop on the Bellair airporter to SeaTac airport. That is the only reason I stayed there.
Waited over 1/2hr for breakfast, ended up canceling & going somewhere else
Over night stay
Had a one night stay with family room was nice and clean bed was comfortable Only down fall that the air conditioning was too cold when we opened the door the room was freezing in there maybe keep it off or turn it down to a lower temperature other then that it was great
Noise from pool could be heard in room. However, the friendly staff moved us to a room further away from the pool area and that room was great.
I love the front desk staff and room service. I needed an extra half hour to check out and they accommodated me. I hadn’t seen my son in 6 years and this hotel made my visit a very memorable one. B-Town is an excellent restaurant. I will definitely be back again. Thank you Gina Gima
We enjoy staying at this property when we come visit Bellingham. The hotel is quiet and clean. We love that there is a resturant attached to the hotel, so we can sit and unwind instead of heading straight to our room.
Convenient and Comfortable
Convenient and comfortable. Wifi access a bit tricky if not a Bonvoy member but staff helped me get on so all went well.
I loved the fact that for dog owners there was easy access to doorways. A bit more grass would be nice but myvweek stay was easy, convenient, and very pleasant. The rooms are remarkable and I really love the flooring. The beds are extremely comfortable. I would stay here again and again. It would be nice to have a continental breakfast on occasion.
Meh!
Sticky floors; unpleasant odor in bathroom. Mediocre service in the two restaurants.
Our room was clean, beds were comfortable. The property is located in a nice part of Bellingham and is close to grocery stores and other conveniences. The pool area is aged and the hot tub had paint chips floating in it both times we used it, so that could use improvement.
Nice place just don't let me the cold laminate floor
Clean and nice!
Very nice hotel. Front Desk personnel were very helpful.
We spent more than $400/night, and our experience with this hotel is very bad because of the room is so so old, dark and ceiling is so low, the bathroom is so old with faucet knob is loose and sink cracked and smells awful. I think the Holiday express is better than this one and less expensive.
Summer stay
It was nice. There was a good restaurant there and the pool was usable for a child. The indoor pool was a little bit on the cold side.
Excellent service, we were able to check in a bit earlier, fast an easy process. Room is very clean and comfortable.
Safe and quite
2 star review.
This property is directly off the interstate. No views. I pre-ordered the breakfast option, and would recommend against that. The breakfast option is a $30 fee per person, and gives a value of $15 max per person off the breakfast menu. They have an adult time scheduled for the pool that is not enforced, but when we went down for so,e time to use the hot tub, ended up having to ask the family with loud kids if they would mind giving us some quiet time. Then at 9pm, 10 mins after I asked the family to take their children out, the front desk staff was there to enforce the pool closing at 9pm. Same applied the second night we were there, so we didn’t bother to go to the pool/tub. We did say something to the front desk staff the second evening, they still didn’t enforce the children in the pool after hours. No room refresh after day one, they forgot to mention no refresh until after a second day at the hotel. For $300 USD on a Saturday, you’d think Four Points would refresh towels and other items -No such luck. ‘Sticky’ hardwood floors throughout the hotel were present. Hotel Not recommended.
While booking I confirmed with two different people that the room allowed for a roll away bed but upon checking in I’m told no. Also the ac unit was very loud.
I booked the hotel with the pool in mind. The pool was cold and the hot tub had been repaired with an ugly paint that was coming off. When I tried to use the microwave, the turntable was broken, which was actually dangerous as it could burn the food, and burned the paper cup on the beverage I tried to heat. Otherwise, my stay was fine.
.
Nice hotel walking distance to a Fred Meyer grocery store
Staff very attentive.
Decorum!
Love staying here
We were the for 4 days and housekeeping never stopped by to replace towels or take trash. That was a little disappointing, But otherwise we very much enjoyed our stay
It’s a great place to stay in Bellingham, you can walk to downtown it’s not to far
Staff allowed me to check in early so I did not have to leave my bags in car while I went for a hike .
The great thing about this place is that it was centrally located to everywhere we were needing to be. The hotel was quiet and clean. The indoor pool was nice, but a little on the chilly side for my taste. My biggest complaint is that our bedding was never made or changed out the entire 5 day stay. We had even requested our sheets to be changed out at the front desk and they did not change them. And there were so many layers on the bed, that this made the bed super lumpy and the sheets kept sliding around underneath. This seems like a little thing... but it goes a long way.
The building and our room was not overly clean and just looks a little run down/dingy. It appears some of this has tried to be hidden with a coat of paint and nice lobby appearance. Our stay was fine but definitely did not warrant the high price!!
No pool.
Came to stay in WA for awhile to visit friends and a small vacation. Unfortunately the pool just happened to be under deck cleaning etc from the day we arrived till we checked out. Unfortunately that was why i chose the hotel other then location. Tv didnt work the first day. Food was ...ok. My experience with staff was good but sad that i wasnt informed bout the pool ahead of time since i called to check on the reservation multiple times. And even asked specifically about the pool.
This property is close to Western Washington University. The A/C worked really well in our room but was terribly noisy in our family's joining room. The staff was pleasant and the stay was easy.
Hot tub, coffee 24/7
Softball in Bellingham
Right when I walked in the smell that they must pump through their smell, so good, it reminded me of Hawaii, also, we have a puppy, and they were very accommodating
The hotel was fairly close to downtown and easy to walk to even though it's on the other side of the highway. Pricing was a bit high considering that it's just a normal chain hotel and breakfast is not included.
One of the best in Bellingham. Good deal was a deal.
Great room, very comfortable. The on-site restaurant/bar was much appreciated after a long day. The desk clerk was very helpful with a small issue in the room which he took care of promptly. Good service.
Very close to WWU and safer than any other hotel we’ve stayed in.
Our stay was too short to really enjoy the amenities, but the beds were very comfortable .
lobby was nice staff excellent rooms ok
Nice property not super up to date but otherwise great.
The only thing i didn't like wasnit was hard to find. It is behind a store. The indoor pool and hot tub were nice. The one restaurant we ate at on the property is geared for adults. Not much on the menu that my Grandkids would eat.
Pool area was small and pool was pretty chilly. Hotel location is right by the freeway, so noisy. Hotel itself is a little rough around the edges and our room had a strong chemical smell from cleaners and the clorine from the pool (we were in a room across the hall from the atrium where the pool is). It is just an average hotel. It was clean and the staff are nice.
Place rocks
Close to WWU
Lobby staff was friendly and helpful. Pool area with hot tub was fantastic. Rooms were clean and spacious. Reasonably priced.
No complaints
Good place to stay. Quality breakfast options at reasonable price. Nice restaurant. Lack of overhead lighting made room a bit dark unless you open window. No complaints.
Enjoyable stay in Bellingham
It was a nice hotel with spacious rooms and friendly staff. My one grievance was that the jacuzzi was being serviced so I couldn't use it when I had time.
Emily and Ian were amazing! Such great service!
Great stay with some outdated tech
The service, location and general condition of the hotel were great. The front desk was accommodating. However, the wifi did not work, and their TV On-Demand service was TERRIBLE. They have a movie rental service which shows the movie we rented at a very low resolution. We managed to get the rental refunded. We enjoyed the stay overall but they need a serious IT overhaul.
The staff was excellent and responded to every need.
This was a very nice surprise! Our room was exactly what I requested, except it was the cleanest hotel and room I've stayed all year. It was a good value, large room, comfortable bedding, refrigerator, microwave, safe, and a full armoire. Large bathroom and shower. Both restaurants are excellent. I'll make this my prefered hotel when I am in Bellingham. Also, it's easy access to I5 and Fairhaven.
The hotel staff were great, the bed comfortable, but the business center computer was down, the last night of course was a Saturday and the room above us was having a party. The hotel itself has very few extras, like breakfast, etc.
my brief stay was great
Clean, comfortable, convenient. We had a great stay!
Very nice staff
Comfortable rooms, firm beds. Quiet. Walkable to downtown. Water pressure in shower is low. In wall heating unit is very loud even on low speed, I had to turn it off while sleeping. I would return again.
Friendly staff, nice clean rooms.
The hot breakfast was only available for an additional cost which I probably could've read the fine print and found out but it was still disappointing. The TV system in the rooms is outdated and only allows on demand movies to rent from the hotel (at $20 a piece) or local TV. No option to log into any streaming accounts of your own. Hot tub and pool were great although the hot tub needs some tile repairs. Staff were all awesome especially in the restaurant.
Location, Location, Location! Perfect with my student on the North end of WWU. The staff was friendly but overall the hotel seemed a bit understaffed. Love the decor and never had a problem with parking. Nice room space just wished for a sink outside of the bathroom.
The parking lighting was very poor, that needs to improve.
Just a really nice place. Comfortable beds. nice pool and hot tub area and lovely foyer.
Great hotel and staff. We enjoyed breakfast twice and dinner, all were very good with delicious choices.
Really nice place! The one downfall was the website and the pool deck say it’s open until 10pm, but they kicked us out at 9pm.
For the price the quality of the rooms were under par. Not sure if the property is going thru a revamp since there was some construction in the hotel.
Staff very friendly. Very clean. Like restaurant on property.
This is my second time here and it is very convent. My only complaint is no breakfast included.
The use of space in the room was not comfortable. A small chair was placed under a lamp right above your head instead of where a couch or even breakfast nook could fit. The coffee station basically accosted you upon entering the room where a closet for jackets and shoes would be more logical. You had to step into the shower to turn it on (smarter people will move the shower head first). Small details like this just felt odd. The people and the pool were wonderful. I also enjoyed the public spaces, they were pretty.
This overpriced old hotel looks and feels 1980s. Very outdated and needs to be drastically remodeled or bulldozed. Dirty bathtub and toilet with hair and urine. Poor lighting. Broken door hinge and lock, dirty linoleum floors, smelled like cigarettes, broken TV, peeling wallpaper, way overpriced. Charged $180 for a handicapped room on the ground floor, and that doesn't include breakfast. After a broken door and TV, they moved me to another room, and the bathroom was filthy. The indoor pool and hot tub open late and close early. This hotel shouldn't be charging more than $90/night.
It was priced well and very quiet.
Very good,
The room was very clean and the staff was very kind and attentive.
For the $330 a night not anything special. I thought the condition of the hotel run down and a little dirty. I had a room that the hall and my door was open to the pool which is inside. Chlorine smell and noisy.
It was a nice hotel, the photos online including the lobby really paint this hotel as being higher end and “newer” than it is in reality. It’s an old hotel that’s been renovated and it served its purpose. But the photos (pool for example) make it seem much newer and nicer than what it is.
Nice!
Beautiful hotel in a great town
Excellent staff at the front desk and restaurants. Very friendly and helpful. Housekeeping was below average. I think they were short staffed. Only emptied our garbage and brought towels after we asked. Otherwise, it's a great place to stay and very convenient location.
Excellent staff and customer service.
Spacious rooms, attractive lobby, on-site restaurants
If you need convenience to the I-5 and access to groceries and gas etc., great choice. Not great if you want a nice view.
Great Stay!
The lobby is beautiful! The service was prompt and friendly. The room was clean and had microwave and refrigerator. The location was central to many things. We would definitely stay here again.
Bed and Wi-Fi were just ok

Friendly, clean and easy to find
The check in was easy and the staff was friendly and attentive. When we had trouble accessing the wifi, the front desk attendant was helpful and solved the problem quickly. Even though the hotel was near the highway, it was quiet. The room was clean and the pool and hot tub were refreshing and clean as well.
