The Front desk staff were wonderful and very helpful during our stay. They gave us good tips for where to go. Answered transportation questions, and allowed us late check out. Late check out made our last day enjoyable! All hotel staff were polite and helpful. Hotel was clean and rooms are large.

From the time we checked in until we checked out the staff was super friendly and helpful. Everyone at the front desk was friendly and helpful. The dining options at the hotel were also very reasonable. "Kiki", the young lady who ran the restaurant, was so helpful to all the guests and wanted to make sure everyone was happy with their meal and bar options. All of these people deserve raises. Our room was beautiful and quiet.

The staff was very attentive and accommodating at what was a very difficult time for my wife and me. The concern and understanding by all, especially Karlo, was very comforting. The breakfast buffet was fresh and tasty, and the service was great.

Was in a good location. The room was nice but carpet was dirty smelled heavily of urine like a kid may have peed all over the floor between the beds. The staff were amazing. The bar out back was very loud until 2am no fault of the hotel. Bring ear plugs for weekends in the summer.

It was an old building in a shady area.Going in & out of the hotel didn’t feel very safe.

Older hotel at good location

It was a decent hotel but not for $370 per night. First they said their room key system had failed (mine worked though), then they gave me a room with one bed when I had confirmed 2 queens. Luckily they were able to change it. Then at 3AM, I woke up to water dripping from the smoke detector. Luckily only half of the bed got wet. I went to the front desk to change a room and they said they don't have any extra room. Then they said they will send in a technician at 6am. 30 min later the water dripping stopped so I told them no need to send someone in at 6am. But NOBODY visited after that or even asked me if we were ok, and even though I checked "want the room serviced" when I checked in, our room was never refreshed for 4 nights. Luckily I didn't have to use the half of the bed so I just let it go. Toilet paper holder was broken off the wall and it was missing. Carpet was dingy and furniture had a lot of visible scratches. Maybe $370 is not expensive in Alaska during high season, but it was a disappointing stay. To be fair, location is good and you can walk to many downtown restaurants.

It was quite expensive, but comparable to other properties. The rooms were large, and we had excellent service.

The stff was friendly and air-conditioning

The hotel was overall not updated, but I didn’t really care because the price was cheap. The one thing I did care about is that we had no air conditioning in our room so it was 80° in there. And it was over 80° outside. Also their shuttle did not work so we had to pay for a ride.

The property was great. Room was clean and spacious for myself and two other guests. With the bathroom was all one room, but it was manageable.

Clean modern room/suite. Very well done and a super friendly staff. Nice fitness room superior to other hotels in its class.

Understanding Staff

We were on a family vacation from Georgia. This was our last night before catching a plane home later the next day. One of our party became sick and was unable to leave by the check out time. This staff was fantastic. We were allowed to stay in our room until the time of our flight. They were all wonderful!!

Room location assignment

Am curious in knowing how rooms are assigned? Husband and I were given room at end of first floor, under stairs, next to very busy road (with exciting Saturday night drag racing.) Son and girlfriend given room top floor, middle of building. Reservations made simultaneously, both paid by my card. Logarithmic? Visual? Just wondering how these decisions are made. Disappointing to think it might be ageism.

Extremely nice

Front desk staff at check in and check out were very helpful and friendly. They held our bags when we checked out so that we could go shopping at the mall.

Location and exterior was a little rough. Homeless sifting through the dumpster and hotel garbage bins. Hotel could use some updating and polish. When making the reservation I chose this hotel because it included breakfast in the price. Big sign that said “Breakfast Buffet $17” for a mind of normal hotel breakfast. We passed on breakfast!

Nice rooms

It was pretty clean, some stains on our comforter and carpet. We booked a king room and got a queen room because they sold out of kings. That was disappointing. Staff is very friendly, they kept our room clean and stocked with everything!

I would stay here again just for the AMAZING staff! Everyone went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. They are fantastic! Hotel is “ok” but in par with the others. Very clean and welcoming.

This hotel is fine. Nothing fancy and no breakfast included; a bagel is $6. The room was clean though and had extra space with the small living room area.

This was perfect for our stay when traveling the 13-hour railroad trip from Fairbanks to Anchorage. It was close to the station and a quick Uber ride from there. The hotel was very clean, the beds were comfortable. I did have to use the laundry facilities and those were great as well. It did use quarters and the front desk made change for me. Highly recommend!

Staff went out of their way to make my stay very comfortable. The room was excellent. Adding a microwave to the room would have made it outstanding.

Stay somewhere else

The first thing we noticed was the "comforters" on the beds had little balls in between the quilting where the stuffing had wadded up into little hard balls. The toilet paper holder in the bathroom was gone. The Kleenex had 2 left. The soap dispensers in the shower were empty. Otherwise the room was clean and smelled nice.

Convenient Aging

Great price point, staff great, wonderful breakfast and wait staff.

I would not order food from hotel. Everything is frozen and not fresh.

Staff was amazing. We are night shift healthcare workers and got off work hoping they would allow us to check in early since we would be leaving early and they accommodated our request with no issues! Sometimes the weather keeps us close to the hospital for call-ins and we will use them again for sure!

thumbs down on the no locals policy

I was extremely annoyed about their "no locals" policy, and if they have a non locals policy, hotels.com should know about it. I book locally when the weather is terrible, which is was last week, and I need to stay in town because it's impossible to get home. 5 stars for the desk clerk who had mercy and let me check in, 0 stars for the administrator who created the policy.

Comfy Beds, quiet hotel

Always a decent stay. You get a suite fir the price of an average room in anchorage. For quiet ask for 3rd floor. Beds are comfortable and pillows are nice. Bring your own toiletries, theirs are average at best. Always a decent stay at a Sheraton.

Great stay. The staff was AMAZING. Like 10/10. Everyone was kind, pleasant, charismatic, and almost felt like they were excited that I was there. I’ve probably stayed in over 200 hotels and this is top 10 just due to the staff alone. Room was great, clean, inexpensive, nice decor, and had everything I needed! I would recommend to families, business travel, and solo travel!

Very pleasant and helpful staff at Four Points. Out only disappointment (a huge one) was that Fox News (Noise) was playing in the lobby.

Property is in DESPERATE need of a full rehab. It is awfully run down and feels grotty.

Not recommended as price is very high for low level of hotel, it’s poor maintenance and overall condition. Though staff is top notch, helpful and very friendly. Stay elsewhere unless they refurbish common area and hotel rooms which are poor condition and so too expensive at current rate.

Was not expecting to pay for breakfast

Four points is located in a very nice place, quiet and less than 5 mins walk to Art center and JC penny. Overall, you can walk to downtown any place within 25 mins. Free parking. The front desk ppl are friendly and helpful. In the meantime, it is overpriced for a motel-like hotel…another issue bothered me the most was that on the 1st day, they didn’t clean my room at all! The 2nd day, they did pick up the trash and made the beds; however, my biscuits crumbs were still obviously on the table! I can see hair on my pillow (from me..luckily)..

I had to get two light bulbs. And house keeping never stop by at all. Even though I was there for only a few days.

This hotel needs a big update.

We got to our room, which was handicapped for some reason, and immediately noticed the large stain center on the carpet. This ground floor room with a large window to the parking lot had electronic shades that didn't work. They were stuck open. I went to the front desk and asked for a new room which I got. We moved up to a 3rd floor room and it was fine except for the same heavily stained carpet. The towels you can practically see through. The halls, carpeting throughout the hotel, elevator, etc. is well worn and it very much shows. I won't be returning to this dive.

It’s relative proximity to things we’d like to do I decent since we lack a car. Unfortunately they do not provide an airport shuttle.

Front desk is great, but poor room service, basically no cleaning for room everyday. There is no bath soap and shampoo available in my room and I called to refill, no one refill for me, just gave me some body soap to clean my whole body. Such a bad experience in Alaska.

The people that worked there are very accommodating and approachable, always ready to help with a smile. The location is very close to downtown and restaurants. I will definitely stay in this hotel again.

The staff made the stay very enjoyable

People was very nice. Breakfast was nice to have on site. Hotel could use updating. Liked that you could request room cleaning etc if you wanted and otherwise ask for things.

The hotel was centrally located with the ability to walk just about anywhere you needed to go. The hotel was very clean and the staff was friendly and very helpful. The restaurant leaves a bit to be desired. The waitress was unaccommodating and I guess I'm used to hotels offering complimentary breakfast but I guess it could be the location we were at. I would stay again if in the area.

Terrific staff!

Service and people that work there are great and very polite. The hotel itself is old and breaking down. Its functional but small things here and there broken. Eg: shower handle is functional but is lose and doesnt stay at one place). The towel hanger is broken etc.

Downtown Anchorage

Great location in Anchorage. Clean, friendly and comfortable.

Liked the mini suite hated the smell of grease that permeated the building.

Find other hotels. Checked out after one night and went to Captain Cook Hotel - was so much nicer.

Food at breakfast was excellent, staff friendly and place was walkable to dinning, mall, public bus, and center city.
