Overall is a good hotel to stay

The check in is fast. This is the 2nd stay since 2006. The surrounding is getting more restaurants compare to last time. There is a western restaurant just beside the hotel. However I find that the food at Tiffin is better. Room is average, cleanliness can be improved. Air conditioner work well. The shower is strong enough for a good bath. Didn’t take the breakfast as there are a lot of Chinese crowd. Travel to old quarter is easy, just call a grab. Will definitely come back to stay.

The wall is too thin, you can hear people from the next door.

1. No bottled water. Instead, the hotel provides you with a jar of water with a lid that is not sealed. So you don't know how old the water is and what kind of water it is. I have never stayed in any hotel that does it. When are asked for a bottled water, they asked you to purchase the bottled water with a price tag. 2. Window view was messy roofs of many lower buildings and they wouldn't change it for you. 3. They refused to let you cancel your stay or give you refund. I booked for 4 nights and had to stick with it. 4. Inconsiderate and low efficient front desk. I arrived at the hotel about 3a.m ish and really wanted a bed asap but the front desk could not find my booking first and then said I could not check in until 3 pm that day. I told him I had no problem paying for that morning but just wanted the process to be faster. It took him about 10 minutes to finally get a room key for me and then I had to wait for another 10 mins to get my luggage delivered. 5. Staff don't speak English well and it was hard to communicate with them. It was very frustrated to have to talk to a few staff on the same problem, because they don't speak good English. 6. When I got a pear from the breakfast, I was told I could only eat it in the cafeteria and it was not allowed to take it away. The hotel charges like $100 per night, but is too frugal to provide free 2 bottled water a day or a pear! I will never stay at Fortuna Hanoi Hotel again. Very negative experience.

Reasonably priced and recommended hotel

The hotel originally had issue retrieving my booking but they remain patience and assisted me in my check-in. Special thanks to Mr Gener Pangan, the hotel's OM, whom have taken the extra mile in assisting me and also listening to my requests. Not my first time staying at this hotel, and things have pretty much been unchanged since pre-COVID - clean and comfortable hotel.

Hotel didn't offer an option for airport drop off.

Morning (7:00 -9:00a.m.) street traffic control. Difficulty pick up a taxi from the hotel. If hotel can provide most traffic taxi, it can solve the problem.

Good hotel for business stay, room was fine, nothing is really outstanding, but nothing is bad either, will definitely consider staying there again. Spa services are quite expensive considering there are options outside the hotel for approximately 3 times less money. Breakfast is totally adequate and staff is friendly and eager to help.

Beautiful hotel; with an abundance of amenities. The area was easy to get to from the airport and bus station although it is a bit far from the Hanoi Old Quarter.

The food was fantastic with options. You can have Vietnamese or Western Food.

Pleasant stay, convenient location

No complaints about the service - everyone was extremely friendly. Food at Tiffin was excellent. On-site casino is small, with some slot machines and roulette machines. No table games and no blackjack games at all. On-site KTV/nightclub is convenient for your business/pleasure needs.

Western style hotel with reasonable dining restaurant in lobby. Shows little age in the rooms, but clean and pleasant. Staffs are very helpful and surrounding areas is good and safe.

Three night stay for work.

Three night stay for work. Didn't have time to visit the area but from the hotel window it looked a mixture of low & old and tall & new. Very nice hotel with very attentive staff, as always in that part of the world. I don't like the 'take the money off your credit card first' system, and then keep saying you don't have enough credit left every time you charge to the room. I would go back.

Must stay for singles in hanoi

It was amazing

Staff are great however the beds are just too hard for me. I requested a room change but they were fully booked and could only offer a smoking room near the elevator.

Pros: - Welcoming and polite staff - Spacious gym - Near to business strict - Clean, spacious and tidy room Cons: - Boring vicinity - Some facilities were old and worn out - Weak room water pressure: weak toilet flush, occasionally inconsistent shower temperature - Taxi ban during commute hours(06:00-09:00, 16:30-19:00) - Weak sound insulation Recommended for business travellers, but not for family or sightseeing tourists since this hotel is away from main travelling spot and because of the nightclub on the basement floor sometimes it will be noisy for light sleepers. I will visit here again if I had another business travel chance.

Nice hotel for business and work, not recommended for sight seeing and tourism. Good internet service, good air conditioning, nice executive floor, nice restaurant. Casino is not for small time betting US or European person, geared more for gamblers. Overall nice stay and comfortable.

I don't have good time to stay in this hotel. First day I came they gave me wrong room and after that gave me room for smoking when I did not smoking & stayed with my Mom ..... ?! I made mistake booked & changed my booking right away but hotel.com customer services not help me and I overbooked 2 days extra paid my money when I did not stay in hotel and not happy with this hotel also ????!!!!

Poor Value outside Downtown

Mediocre rooms, decent breakfast, mediocre service (used to be better). This hotel is useful for business trips outside the downtown area, but it is in need of renovation. Taxis can't use the street outside during the rush hour, so transport is also difficult. Rates seem to vary widely, and really aren't competitive with much better locations nearer the center. So there's no good reason to stay here other than the location, and even that has lost most of its value with the taxi ban.

I will never stay here again. Bed is small with very hard mattress i tried with adding blankets to it but it did not help much. The AC never worked, it would just blow air but room never got colder than 25. Rooms are outdated. Closet did not even have hangers, my WIFI wasnt working, bathroom didnt have soap or conditioner. The whole lobby smelt of smoke as soon as i walked in. Not very friendly front desk staff. I was chased down the lobby as i tried to finish a cup of coffee up in my room and apparently that was not allowed...they could have offered a to-go cup but they did not. Breakfast is terribly overpriced and not very good.

Business in Hanoi...

Basic but clean and comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful. Singapean Chef in Situ with posters of SG favourites on the walls of lobby restaurant but breakfast and room service where not great. Location chosen for being near the office. Large lake and a few restaurants nearby. Highlight was Jucuzzi bath in the room. Pool looked nice but too cold to appreciate at the time of visit.

安心して滞在できるホテルでした

4回目の宿泊でした、フルクラブプレミアルームに3連泊したが、部屋の広さは十分すぎるぐらい広くて良かった。また5階での食事や夕方のビール、ワインもフリーでいただけるのも良かった。残念なのは、バスルームの古い設備とぬるい湯でジャグジーも台無しでした。タオル類もボロく清潔感がない。

清潔感のある良いホテルです。朝食も美味しく、種類も豊富です。部屋に髭剃りが無かったのでフロントまで貰いに行きましたが、ホテル内では英語かベトナム語を話せないと苦労します。

ホテルにある日本食レストランで、唐揚げを食べて、食あたりしました。なので、清潔感でのイメージが良くないです。

豪華なホテルで気持ちよく利用することができました。周辺に観光地があるのでどこに行くにも近くて便利でした。朝食は日本人向けのメニューがあり楽しむことができました。

チェックアウトでフロントスタッフにＯＫと言われ、１０分ほどドライバーを待っていたら、シーツが汚れているから金を払えと言われた。 ４泊して、一度も交換してないから、少しくらい善いだろうて言ったが、聞き入れない。ドライバーが来ても、セキュリティスタッフに制止され、出発出来ません。 OKをだしたら、以降は、責任はないとおもいます。 良いホテルですが、最後に不愉快になりました。スタッフの小遣い稼ぎかな？
