Great location, comfortable stay

We stayed in a suite for 5 nights and it was spacious and clean. We absolutely loved the restaurant, pool, and lounge upstairs. The golf cart that took us to the beach club (La Plage du Festival) was very convenient. Room service and ice delivery was very fast. The only thing that could be improved would be the scent of the soaps and shampoo in the room. Would definitely stay here again.

Excellent hotel! Superior staff!

Excellent stay for 2 nights. Hotel staff were amazing and couldn’t do enough for you. We had our 2 dogs with us and they were welcomed everywhere but the Spa. Parking was easy. Overall a very good stay at a lovely hotel.

I booked this hotel as a surprise trip for my partner's 40th birthday and from the moment of booking to the moment of checking out the service and experience has been exceptional! Reception and Concierge were in touch with me prior to our trip to help with any bookings or personal touches I wanted to make. I was called the day before to check on our arrival time and upon arrival was greeted with a drink, a smile and a room upgrade! There was a personalised note and gift for my partner on the bed which was a lovely touch, the room was clean, spacious and well designed. The whole hotel was... lovely little pool area on the roof, nice breakfast buffet and a view of Le Suquet (my fave!). The hotel is extremely well situated within easy access of the train station, La Croisette and Le Suquet, but the outstanding feature of this hotel is undoubtedly it's staff! Every single member of staff we encountered was incredibly warm, friendly and helpful, we honestly felt like nothing was too much trouble. It goes without saying that when we return to Cannes we will be returning to Five Seas, an absolute gem in the Cote d'Azur.

The best experience I had staying at a hotel

This hotel makes you rethink all the other 5 stars experiences you had in your life. It’s located in the heart of the city walking distance from the hippest places, it offers large rooms with great amenities. The food was freshly made and beautifully served ever day for breakfast with a great variety of options. The service though, that’s what I truly loved about my experience. They do a fantastic job making sure you feel comfortable and welcomed. I highly recommend this hotel.

We had such a wonderful time!!! The hotel itself is beautiful with lots of original pieces of artwork. It’s ideally located with lots to do within walking distance. The staff were so helpful, friendly and attentive. One of my best hotel stays anywhere in the world!

We had a wonderful stay, everything was perfect. The staff are so friendly and accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is very stylish with individual touches, it’s in a perfect location if want to be in the centre of Cannes. A delightful hotel to stay in and can highly recommend.

Your money’s worth and so much more

Amazing experience from start to finish. Great friendly service. They took us by golf cart (complimentary)to the beach club and restaurants so our toddler wouldn’t have to walk to far. The family room was very spacious. The roof top stainless steel infinity pool insane. The complimentary breakfast excellent, varied and tasty. You really get a lot for your money.

Worst experience ever

Over rated hotel. Pictures are almost 180 degrees than the poor reality!! Room renovation is very old, bed was two single beds matched together and they call it king size bed which is absorbed. Noisy street until late hours. Finally an over rated price of 800 euros per night... I regret choosing this hotel. I've being a member for so meany years, slept over at hundreds of hotel and never before I was so disappointed.

Nice hotel but the Executive room is not worth the money at all. The Superior room is better and less expensive.

Personalized check in attention. Friendly staff. Very well located close to best shopping district, main attractions and restaurants. Beautiful rooftop restaurant with excellent food. The breakfast is continental and not a buffet.

Incredible. The room, the hotel, the pool were absolutely top notch. The bed divine, the attention to details in the room beautiful.

Excellent visit! Totally pleasurable

Concierge lost our bags, and it took forever for them to find it. The attitude of the staff was extremely unhelpful. They simply said they can’t find the bags. The rest of the experience was amazing, but due to those members of the staff I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone

Lovely, but a little noisy!

I loved the 5 seas, truly beautiful and comfortable stay with ultra friendly staff. My one gripe was that there was a big festival going on down the street which kept me up until about 3am. But nothing the hotel could have done there other than potentially move me to the other side of the building which they said I'd have to pay for.

Good location, very clean. One staff member was very rude but everyone else was pleasant. The hotel is quite noisy due to the traffic outside. The ground floor of the hotel lacks a little personality and could do with maybe a bar or something to give it a bit more of an atmosphere.

Truly marvellous hotel. Rooms (Suites) are incredibly spacious & well though out. Beautiful bathroom, huge bath & shower. Excellent restaurant, very friendly & professional spa - all in all extremely impressive.

This hotel was a really great experience for us. Starting at the welcome by the concierge, followed by an attentive check-in, and of course a beautiful room - modern look with edgy features. Loved the stainless steel rooftop pool and surrounding pool deck. The complementary breakfast was top notch too, with numerous choices and good quality food. We found the concierge especially to be highly knowledgeable, and he pointed us in the direction of excellent local cuisine and restaurants. Just for good measure, the hotel is located in the centre of the old quarter of the city, and is close to a multitude of restaurants, shops and tourist attractions. We couldn’t recommend the hotel more highly.

Beautiful Hotel, Fantastic 4 days

We can’t recommend this hotel and it’s fabulous staff enough.. great room, lovely and spacious and absolutely immaculate. There is always a lovely continental breakfast with lots to choose from. The pool and sun deck are always clean and tidy and it’s wonderful to lay out in the sun without the crowds on the public beach. The staff are exceptional, tentative, polite and always happy to help. Worth every penny that we paid and more .. wish we could have stayed longer.. we are already planning to return next year ... Thank you Five Seas

1 star.. disappointed by the manager

We left our junior suite at 12.58 pm, two guys from the concierge entered our room without knocking and checked us out, which was fine by us. Later on that day the manager of the hotel tried to get money out of my credit card without my permission nor my knowledge .. stating that its a "late check-out fees" which totalled to EUR 250!. Again! all of that happened without my knowledge nor permission. We've never been treated like this in any other hotel in cannes such as the Majestic or the Carlton .. Even 3 stars hotels have a better manager than she is. Very bad experience. Disappointed.

Small but lovely hotel in great location.

This hotel should DEFINITELY be adults only. It’s small, boutique and completely unsuitable for children. Just one child on the small roof terrace screeching ruined the pool area for every guest. A huge error. Ideally should be smoke free, but it’s a French thing to have so much smoking even though it’s unhealthy and completely anti-social. Good service. Great rooms. Very limited food menus. Really big sitting area in Lobby is completely wasted. Just having a drinks waiter would make this area much more amenable and it would earn its keep. A missed opportunity. Should have full bar service in there.

A Perfect City Break

A gorgeous boutique hotel. Easy walk (3 mins) from station and 2 mins from the sea front. Professional, friendly and knowledgeable staff. Room was super with a lovely balcony. Breakfast was delicious.

A very, very nice "boutique" hotel. Great location, helpful staff, clean, newly renovated rooms. We liked this hotel better than most of the 5 star hotels in which we have stayed. Highly recommend ... you can't go wrong with this choice!

Great experience

We had a wonderful time in the hotel. The staff was very friendly. We arrived quite early and had to wait past 3pm for check-in. The hotel ended up giving us a better rein than what we reserved, which was obviously nice for us. The only downside was we were not told of any facilities available for us up front. We didn’t even realize the breakfast was included in the rate. And we ate and paid for our breakfast at their pastry cafe...

Wonderful stay

We were here for two nights and had a very nice stay. The location is great, central to everything but still feels quiet. The rooms were comfortable and staff very nice. We had breakfast both mornings, it was very good. The Roof bar was just OK... very slow service.

5 star luxury without the usual stuffy attitude

Simply amazing!!!

We visited the Five Seas Hotel for a long weekend at the beginning of September. I found the hotel online and chose the hotel because if it's location and online reviews. I am so pleased that I did! From the moment we arrived the staff were exceptional. Before we even stepped into the building the concierge took our bags from us and escorted us to reception for check in. There we were welcomed by two extremely accomodating ladies who offered us drinks and a warm towel to freshen up with. We were early so we're informed our room wasn't ready yet however they expected it would be in the next hour. We took this opportunity to get our bearings and explore the town a little. Within the hour the receptionist had phoned to tell is our room was ready. The room was amazing! It was huge, immaculate, and smelt wonderful. Our bags were delivered to us and five minutes later we were enjoying s complimentary in-room massage by a member of the on site spa team. The service we had received by this point set the scene for the remainder of the weekend. We were made to feel like royalty the whole time - almost as if we actually belonged with the rich and famous who grace Cannes with their presence during the Film Festival. Other points worth making note of are the complimentary mini bar which is restocked each day. The continental breakfast which is included in your stay was plentiful and always fresh. The rooftop pool, although small if perfectly adequate for cooling off whilst sunbathing.

Great location

The location of the hotel was ideal to the beach as well as the old town and trendy shops. The concierge staff was exceptional and Antoine in particular went out of his way to ensure we had a great experience. We would definitely stay there again and will recommend this hotel to others.

Amazing Hotel Best location!

Firstly - I would like to make clear that we have not even a single complaint about this hotel. It was amazing. The staff - fantastic, our room - immaculate and beautiful 7 the location - the best in Cannes. The hotel is situated centrally, walking distance to all beaches, port, shopping and dining. Upon booking our room, the concierge contacted me immediately as any 5* hotel should. It was my son's 10th birthday on our 2nd day of travel. They arranged a cake with his name to be cut during breakfast. it was very special. We booked a suite and were allocated a beautiful room on the 5th floor. the room is beautifully furnished and bright, airy, the bathroom, shower and bed were not as many european hotels. These were large and open. The bed large and comfortable. there were 2 flat scren TVs in the room with many movie and channel options. 1 floor up was the restaurant, bar and pool We took advantage of the wonderful breakfast every morning. it was a continental breakfast - perfect for my family. The food was fresh and delicious. The pool was small as we expected. It was on the roof of the hotel, so we enjoyed the open space every day. Fresh towels, chairs and drinks were always available. the best part about this hotel was the staff. They were friendly, knowledgeable and helpful in planning a wonderful vacation. Thank you Five Seas Hotel - you made our vacation memorable. We will be back next year!!!!!

Not quite on the front like many of the old hotels, but has a much more contemporary, less tired, feel to it. Highly recommend it

Just beautiful, of course

Cannes is certainly the place of the beautiful but that doesn't just end with the people. I stayed here with my husband on an all too short break. Did my homework and it certainly paid off. The Five Seas provides laid back luxury in a fantastic boutique setting. It's design oriented but in no way pretentious. I was lucky enough to receive an upgrade to a spacious junior suite and free welcome cocktails courtesy of Expedia. I'm big on service and The Five Seas did not disappoint. Everybody, regardless of their role was exceptionally friendly and accommodating. I do my best to speak in French wherever possible but all the staff were easily able to slip from French to English to spare my blushes, without making me feel like an inconvenience. There's a spa and a small gym area below stairs and on the 5th floor is the bar / restaurant area and pool. It's not a huge pool so don't expect to knock out laps but it's certainly adequate for cooling off after basking on the sun loungers. In the evenings, these are replaced by tables so you can enjoy your drinks under the stars. Breakfast is also served up on the 5th floor with a good selection of continental items or you can order various hot additions. It's location, just off the main drag makes it a top spot, allowing you to be in the thick of it or on the beach within mere minutes though the rooms are still fairly quiet, even on a crazy Saturday night. All in all I can't fault it and am already planning a return visit.

Just spent 5 days/4 nights at this amazing hotel. Enjoyed every second of our time there. From the service, food, location all was just perfect. This hotel has it all. first of all we got an amazing deal with Expedia, we upgraded to a junior suite for very little additional costs. The room was very spacious, spotless, modern and fully serviced at all times. We had dinner on our first night- superb, drinking in the lounge another night and enjoyed the continental breakfast 4 mornings. they too offer a full entrée breakfast menu, again very good food. At check in we were offered juices and waters, the staff could not be more accommodating. The Fives Seas is truly 5 stars! look on further if you want a truly well run hotel in downtown Cannes! Cant wait to go back..

Excellent hotel with great amenities

We were upgraded. Nice large bedroom with stylish fittings and extremely comfortable bed. Very helpful attentive staff throughout. Hotel well located, just off the La Croissette, so doesn't have the views of the older more established hotels on the front - but actually far nicer because of its more intimate boutique feel. The pool on the roof is very special. Best hotel in Cannes.

We loved this gorgeous hotel in the city center. It was convenient to everything. The room and hotel were beautiful and the staff was excellent.

Perfection. Staff, room, service, pool, everything was just amazing. Free upgrade to Junior Suite for our 8 night stay. Free soft drink and snacks mini bar, restocked daily. Morning room clean and evening turn back service. Food and drinks very expensive but there are so many options within 2 mins walk.

this was our wedding anniversary, the hotel is very centrally located in Cannes. Hotel services were impeccable and the Gastro Resturant was superb. would certainly come back.

Beautiful, comfortable & good location

The staff could not have been nicer nor more efficient. The room was beautiful & the beds deliciously comfortable. Food in the restaurant on the roof was delicious. The chef always came out to greet diners at each table. The breakfast had good variety, the bread was the best! The only issue was that the satellite TV kept freezing up. It appeared to be a general issue. On the last day it was better. We would definitely stay again should we return to Cannes.
