Lonavala Retreat

Good property in Lonavala but there was too much noise on both nights from people partying in other rooms.

Kids love this place, great stay

Great buffet spread. Very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are spacious and clean. All modern amenities are provided. Really enjoyed our stay.

Property is quite old not good not bad, According to room rate room was totally not worth. There is no good view from room after paying 20k per night. Bed was not comfortable at all. Breakfast was quite disappointed as not happy with taste same for dinner except few items in dinner buffet most of them was tasteless.

Need to raise the standards of rooms. Rooms conditions are pretty bad compared to price they charge.

I like cleanliness, staff service, and all atmosphere of hotel. Inly one change they should do that not to charge for indoor games , and provide iron and iron board inside room.

Lovely Stay at Fariyas

We (myself and spouse) stayed for a night. Let me start with location.Excellent location with full of serenity and greenery with hill side view. People - everyone is exceptional in customer service starting for ball boy to front desk team. I would like to especially mention about Mr Alok Kumar Mahapatra who personally took care about the comfort of our stay. We had a very interesting discussion about fake reviews (which is a big problem now-a-days) for e-commerce and hotel/airline businesses. Akhrot Halwa in Dinner and Pakwan-Sindhi Daal & Dry Bundiya in Breakfast are worth to be mentioned. We love to visit the place again during Monsoon. Thank you, Fariyas Team for making us stay memorable.

The resort is awesome alongwith all the staff members. I have had mountain view room there where I enjoyed my all the mornings 😊.

Breakfast,and dinner was fantastic., enjoyed pool and waterpark. It was amazing !!!

Average stay, not worth the price

The stay was not the standard you expect from a 5 star resort. We got a wrong room at check in and the new room took too long. Room quality and maintenance is poor. Doors that don’t lock, poorly lit rooms, dingy and smelly bathrooms, certainly not what you expect for the price.

Break from rush.

It is a wonderful place. As always food was good, rooms clean and ambience perfect.

Superb property , though looking a bit tired now

Very nice property but needs a bit of renovation now..we stayed in the mountain facing suite and had a great time at the water park etc

Our stay was fantastic, the indoor pool is awesome, the food n service very good, all the staff very helpful n good, always with a smile, the rooms need a new look though,

I need my money back. Lot of issues room not cleaned rude staff where charging extra for breakfast and overall bad experience

Great place for family fun!

Amazing place. Room and bathroom was very well kept and clean. Staff was very polite and helpful. Good facilities for children including a water park. Enjoyed thoroughly! Would definitely visit again!

Excellent Stay

The staff at the Fariyas is very friendly and always ready to help. The breakfast/dinner buffet has endless options and quality of food ordered was very good. The rooms are spacious, however needs some refurbishing. Overall a very good stay. While booking I had opted for MAP plan but my booking was only reflecting the CP plan which was conveyed to hotels.com. After verifying with the Fariyas we were informed that booking is for CP plan only. However the Fariyas resort honored our request and changed our booking to MAP plan themselves.

Fariyas Food Rocks

Good time spent. Smooth check in . During check out....desk executive was not happy with kotak employees which affected his response ...food was awesome...and specially you guys took care of vegetarian guests by separating the area to pick food .....room was nice ...facilities were good . No option to go out for walking out of resort . Overall we had good time and can come back again

This is an old property. Close to highway but isolated. Food was good. Bit expensive. Good for one / two nights stay.

Peaceful hotel but very dated !

The hotel is located facing a valley, so u r guaranteed a peaceful view at all times. The balconies are big and with as well. The food too is good be it the buffet or the room service. The indoor sports is restricted in options, but they have 2 pools , 1 with a water park type of vibe ! The only thing I felt is that for this price there are better properties with much better upgraded facilities and amenities in the room. The furniture and overall look are very school..even boutique hotels that are 3star have upgraded the look..so why not this 5 star ?

Nice place with beautiful view

Great. My children's enjoy lot. Big place for playing area. Everyone in staff is friendly and care taking . Food quality is also good.

Family Vacation

It was a very relaxing holiday.Lots of activities for the kids.The water park and Indoor pool was good.The room service ,check in and check out was also handled very well.Staff was very courteous and helpful.The gym had basic equipment but needs to be upgraded.

Overall a nice hotel but a very old property.

This is a very old property and not much has changed since probably the last 45or 50 years!! Yes, its that old:) Inside the room, the vintage feel is felt the most.. It just feels like a basic 3 star hotel. But having said that, its the outdoors where one starts enjoying the property - alongwith the pool, there are some fantastic water slides - fast ones!! and you can keep doing it as long you wish to:) The property grounds are fantastic!! Very large and you can enjoy the beauty of nature by just walking around - large / huge old trees and the undulating mountainside.. the wind cooly blowing - all very magnificent!! The food here is rubbish to say the least.. just go to other nearby restaurants and enjoy the cheap n tasty food there.. and there are so many nearby places to go to.. The one major drawback is that if you are on a family/couple vacation, you are bound to be swarmed by the loads of single guests (mostly men) who have come on company conferences - this hotel caters mainly (appears that 75% of their business come from corporates) to such corporates and when we were staying, there were 6 companies who had booked their staff for various meetings n conferences.. so you dont get any peace coz of these people flocking the restaurants/pools/any possible spaces.. try and go to Fariyas during week days - mon/tue/wed and dont make the mistake of going on holidays..

Excellent hotel & services

The hotel rooms & interiors as well as the facilities are very good. We tried the buffet a couple of times and the menu was elaborate & good to taste. The narrow road leading up to the hotel was in bad condition though and it was difficult to spot the exit from main road leading to hotel specially during night time. Overall we had a good experience

Best place in Lonavala

The hotel is the best one in Lonavala. Positives: A great mini water park - a great puller for kids (and hence parents); good food; staff was very courteous and service quick. Negatives: Room finishing could be improved upon esp. given the rates charged are quite steep

Excellent hotel in lonawala

Very refreshing and nice experience during our stay. Good recreational facilities and nice spa for relaxation. It is an ultimate destination to rejuvenate oneself over the weekend.

front offfice staff total terrible.

i stayed in many hotels before this hotel the customer care was very bad and front office service terrible for this price.some time they not even taking call from the room i never reccomend this hotel to any friends for this price if we pay this price in well known hotels the service will be excellent

fantastic service

only one problem. we have booked through internet. with same rate of booking we have not got what person would have got facilities at same walk in rate. otherwise room services are really aooreciated as well as the personnel staff being very much cordial as one find in ither five star hotel.

Great Place

The location of the hotel was really great and also the quality of service provided was excellent. i would have rated it 5 if the hotel was a little bit renovated. i think it requires a bit of renovation. but over all its a well place to stay.

Good but not worth the price you pay

This is a decent hotel. Its got good service and the people are really helpful. But its really not worth the price you pay. Its probably the most expensive hotel in Lonavala and its not worth the price. The service is good and nothing apart from that. I think the price should be reduced by 40-50% atleast.
