Our favourite place to stay when visiting Vancouver! This time around we stayed on the Gold Floor and it was beautiful. Staff are wonderful and the location can't be beat.

Beautiful staycation!

We recently spent five nights at the Fairmont Pacific Rim and had a wonderful experience from start to finish. The highlight of our stay was the exceptional staff—everyone we interacted with was warm, professional, and eager to help, which made us feel truly welcomed. Our room was spotless, modern, and very comfortable. We especially appreciated the pool and hot tub area, which provided a great space to relax after our daily outings. Parking was also very convenient, with in-and-out privileges that made exploring the city easy. We did ask the concierge about breakfast options one morning and were directed to the in-room tablet for information. Based on what we saw there, it appeared that breakfast was only available via room service during the week and in Botanist on weekends. That may or may not have been the full picture, but we ended up enjoying some great breakfast spots nearby instead. On that note, we visited Giovane Caffè several times and it was excellent—definitely a highlight! Although we didn’t spend time in the lounge or restaurants during our stay (which is unusual for us at a Fairmont), for some reason they felt a bit less approachable than what we've experienced at other locations. Perhaps that’s more about us than the hotel, though. Overall, a fantastic stay, and we wouldn’t hesitate to return.

Especially if you are coming to TED conference, this is the hotel to stay as it is literally next to the event venue. Even if you are not, it has the best resturant and bar and the vibe is extremely goo.

Lovely weekend stay! Room was spacious and well appointed. Great location to walk the city. Friendly and helpful staff. Great little coffee shop in hotel and lobby bar nice place to have drinks.

Room With A View

Awesome location and our room had a gorgeous view! Lots of cool amenities in the room. Awesome rooftop pool and hot tub too.

Aways 5 star service @ pacific rim fairmount.

Quite enjoy the view out of windows but the Tracee was slightly tilted which feels unsafe at all.

Ideal location downtown with easy access to many sights, such as the Stanley Park, Gastown, Canada Place, and the seawall. Don't forget to try the gellato

A good place to stay but the lobby area can get very noisy in the evening due to the live music and the bar.

Best time we ever had. Excellent service and high touch. Beautiful room loved all the tech features as well. Great harbor view! We upgraded to the gold flr and was very happy. Little pricey but being it was my wife’s birthday it was all worth it. Thank you for your hospitality we will be back again!

Fairmont Pacific Rim is hands down my favorite place to stay in Vancouver. I’ve stayed here several times, and it never disappoints. The rooms are incredibly comfortable, and the location is perfect—right in the heart of the city with easy access to everything. The hotel has a great mix of dining options, from casual spots to an amazing bar and sushi restaurant. The gym is top-notch, making it easy to stay on track while traveling. Every stay here is exceptional—I can’t recommend it enough!

60th Birthday Celebration

It was excellent. The ambiance, the room was amazing. Our service was impeccable. We celebrated my 60th bday and everything was perfect. We had cold champagne and chocolate covered strawberries waiting for us in the room when we checked in. It was a perfect weekend!

Hotel is great but we arrived at 4:30pm when our check in was 3pm or later but we had to wait until 5pm to get our room. For this much money I would expect an on time check in

This was a really great stay. In a walkable area with lots to see and do, close to the convention center. Our room overlooked the seaplane harbor which was a great view and fun to watch. Staff was so helpful and there was lots going on in the lobby.

Our stay was excellent. The service was impeccable.

Everything was fantastic. We loved the location and dining amenities along with the included shuttle service anywhere down town.

Home away from home

Home away from home. From the time I get out of the taxi, they great us by memory. Staff know your name and always do everything they can to make it the best stay. The gold lounge is worth the extra money. Food is fantastic

Impeccable Gracious Service. Our Suite was picturesque & beautifully appointed. Botanist should have 2 Michelin at least. There is a reason the queen of England stayed here

Best hotel in Vancouver

Our family has a wonderful stay! The staff were very attentive and responsive. I asked for a third mug because there was 3 of us, and after that they made sure we had 3 clean mugs always! There was a cozy robe waiting for our 10yr old which was a nice touch. Room service was easy and good. Valet was the same cost as self park so we valeted and it was always easy and quick. We had a partial water view room and it was exactly that and lovely. Beds were comfortable and the tub is large. We didn’t try the outdoor heated pool but you could see steam coming off the water and there were people in it all the time. Pack your swim suit just in case! Thanks for a much needed getaway - we will be back!

The staff were all helpful and kind. And also friendly with a sense of humour. And they remembered when they had served you previously.

Wonderful stay. Worth the money. Service were beyond what we have experienced anywhere else. Staff are so poliet and accommodating. Treat you like royalty.

Buzzing sound all night

Nice room but there was a buzzing sound all night! Terrible. We were too tired to tell the front desk and hoped it would go away. Don’t stay on 6th floor, city view!

Great location with many shopping and dining options within walking distance. Modern, clean hotel with very comfortable rooms, nice bar area. Easy self parking. Staff extremely polite and helpful.

Don’t stay here if you want to take pictures. Even on your phone. It doesn’t matter if it’s not for commercial use. They only allow pictures if you pay a fee and have a PR person and security following you. Super weird. It makes me wonder what this hotel is hiding. Felt super unsafe. Will not be staying here again.

What hotel (other than this one) still charges for wifi—even after trying to input my ALL number. Also disappointing to have the gold lounge closed for renovations.

The staff were terrific!. They upgraded our room to a partial harbor view. Lovely. The room was large and felt warm but modern. Really nice room. Service was super quick for a large hotel. Use of hotel car was great. Just lovely.

Absolutely amazing!!! Every staff member was the best I’ve experienced at there job. The best door men, the best front desk people, the best room service, the best house keeping. The best waiters. It was excellent!!! Just as an example, I brought some books with me and had them on the night stand, the next day when we got back in the afternoon house keeping had inserted book markers in to my books cause they noticed I didn’t have any. I mean that level of attention, who dose that.

Great place to relax after busy conference

Gorgeous hotel, the room was spectacular, beautiful view and amazing restaurant and bar.

The staff made our travel with two little ones an absolute joy. Little house coats, crib with blanket, bottle warmer, friendly, warm, kind staff all made for a wonderful family stay. Thank you!

Highly recommend

Went to Vancouver for the Eras tour and this location was amazing. Right across from the Vancouver Christmas Market. So beautifully decorated for Christmas. Great central location. We did the Vandussen Gardens one night and then Capilano Suspension bridge park another night and I would highly recommend these attractions for guests. The bridge park has a shuttle that leaves from about 2 blocks from the hotel and transports you free of charge. Beds were so cozy and the room had great views of the mountains and bay.

Stayed for Taylor Swift concert and perfect stay. Last day, there was construction so they moved me to a quieter room. Can't wait to come back!

These property is lovely, beautiful, very clean, everyone is overall very kind and accommodating!! The beds are comfy. There's plenty of space in the rooms. The only thing is I wish there was more drawer space if you're sharing a room with others. The food was delicious, drinks were great, and the live entertainment in the hotel lobby was incredible!! I would most definitely go back again.

This was the best Fairmont I’ve stayed at to date. They were extremely attentive, remembered me from day to day, the personal touch goes a long way. I get that it’s a higher end hotel, but for me I’m willing to pay the extra money to get that level of service. Rooms were updated, harbor view rooms have a great view of seaplanes which is an added bonus. Fairmont amenities are always top notch.

Hands down best service ever

It’s our home away from home. My husband was there for a business trip and his eye got really bad. At one point, he couldn’t see. The staff were amazing. They took care of him and continued to check in on him the entire stay. One of the best hotels in the world.

Loved everything except of the category we booked, we got the smallest room but the view was great which made up for this. Hotel room was spotless and cleaned daily. The lounge had great food options and enjoyable entertainment. Highly recommend this property.

The best in Vancouver

Five star hotel downtown Vancouver.

Amazing hotel with great service, fun (noisy) bar, excellent sushi. Lovely outdoor heated pool. Decor is fabulous. Staff are all delightful, helpful and above standard. Bring your Gold card though. Prices are over the top. Between the taxes, obligatory service fees etc, it is very expensive. If you can afford it, this is a brilliant hotel conveniently located right downtown. Close to the seaplanes, fast ferry (Hullo) shopping and restaurants. It’s a 10!
