I LIKE privacy and it was very clean I did not like Charges for parking at Hotel parking lot

The elevator wasnt working, and we were staying on the 4th floor so that made it kind of stressing, I did ask if they were getting fixed soon and they said they didnt know when, they did offer to help with the stuff we had, but we still had more stuff to bring down from what they helped with which was only a stroller I was also charged a little more than what my reservation showed and from what they told my on the front desk when i checked in

The hotel, itself, is a challeging location to get to. I lived in San Antonio for 12 years and I still was not sure if I was in the right place. I went to check in (I was early) - zero staff was there to help. I do have a service dog and they were great about him. He has paperwork but they never asked to see it. I do appreciate that but the hotel is out of date.

The breakfast selection was delicious! The room size is very spacious.

Tile in restroom was not adhered to floor, grout was cracked and tiles would shift. AC unit was noisy. Not the best stay compared to previous stays at this location. Room 406

Thus was our 3rd stay here. It was good, but there were some issues with the AC, which was worked on as we were checking out. Eveerything else was good.

It is an old hotel, my first room had a wasp nest outside but was annoyed to see all these animals flying outside the window; luckily the reception lady changed it but she was not happy with this decision. Breakfast was ok, typically hotel free breakfast.

Tired hotel with cramped bathroom with inadequate A/C in the room and A/C absent in hallways and the elevator. While the bed was comfortable, it was unstable on the base and the bottom sheet would not stay on the mattress. There were "buggers" on one of the walls next to the bed. The TV worked intermittently and with barely audible sound. Finally, the toilet was not only stained, but it required maintenance two our of the three days of our stay. While personnel were attentive and professional, I would not recommend this hotel as I will not stay there again. Almost forgot to mention the drinking and smoking a group of individuals engaged in every night at the parking lot, impacting my sense of safety and security.

Noise level with adjacent rooms. When door closes seems as if it's your room.

It’s a very nice property!

The breakfast is horrible and limited for a "breakfast buffet" The gravy for the biscuits just taste watery n plain. When i went to the front desk to ask for towels for the pool because they were out they told me they would bring them to me and that i could only get 3 for my family of 4 but in the end they never came. And pillows are soo uncomfortable

Walking to restaurants

Room not ready at checkin time. First night was kept awake till 2am with a party next door. Tried to call front desk ( no answer). Had to go downstairs to the front desk twice before they would do anything about the noise.

Customer service was excellent from front desk to housekeeping .

The toilet was broken and they told us aside from no other rooms available that they were not a full service hotel “we are Fairfield” whatever that meant. Very disappointed.

Very bad experience

In the online check in I specified a 11AM check in we arrived at 11:30 and was told that we could not check in until 12:30 1 pm and that they would text us when a room was ready. We did not receive a text message by 2PM so we traveled back to the hotel and approached the front desk top see if they did have a room available and they did. by the time we got up to our room that is when a text message came stating there was a room available. HUMM!!. When we arrived to our room floor the smell of marijuana was over powering through out the hallway (Not good being I had my 6 year old grandson). The room had not been vacuumed because we saw food crumbs through out and my grandson found a lint roller sleeve filled with hair IN his bed under the sheets and cover (very disgusting!!

We usually book through Marriott Bonvoy and haven't ever had an issue at this location. Our air conditioner was noisy, the bed had a huge lump down the center and the pillows were ridiculous. Staff was ok, but usually very courteous and professional. 1st night of an anniversary trip and it wasn't great, by any means

We were visiting the San Antonio are for the first time. Upon arriving to the hotel we waited awhile until we were able to check in because there was no staff available to do so. Once we were checked in we went up to our room. The room had a musty smell to it which was terrible but when we asked for a new room we were accommodated but it was not much better. It was not the best accommodations but we could not cancel once we booked because it would not allow us too. We will be back to visit San Antonio but will not be staying here again.

Terrible Experience.

It was a terrible experience. Hotel entrance was so difficult to find. Front desk lady was great , she offered us water as well. Room was too small, bed sheets had hair, bathroom tub doesn't drain , paper thin walls and every time some one closes their door , I could hear a loud bang. One more thing breakfast was very bad, coffee was just hot water other than a big pile of already cooked pancakes there was nothing else.

The gentleman who checked us in made us feel welcomed.

Great customer service but hotel is a little old.

First of all the front desk young lady and gentleman were very nice and accommodating. But especially Maria who worked the breakfast was awesome. She went out of her way to please the guest that were there and was Very friendly and nice!! About the hotel…the location was perfect for us and what we wanted to do but the hotel is on the older side and definitely needs attention. The rooms are small and the rooms that have king size bed don’t have a sofa bed in it the only rooms with sofa bed have 1 queen bed in it. The bathroom had many loose tiles on the floor and you could see where lots of the grout was gone. Our room had no iron, ironing board or blow dryer which should be in each room. The room smelled very musky/humid that made it uncomfortably so I had to spray some air freshener to help. Unfortunately we won’t be staying at this hotel again but I do want to acknowledge the people working there for their great customer service.

I was shocked at the lower quality of this hotel for the following reasons: 1. Only one elevator for five floors PLUS elevators had to be shared with hotel cleaning staff, which made for some long wait times. 2. The common areas could have been much cleaner. 3. The hotel is in desperate need of an update. Everything seemed old and worn.

First time staying in this area and we really liked the convenient location.

The are is very convenient, it’s close by many nice areas.

The hotel and room were more than satisfactory. However the internet was unacceptable. The router seemed to always turn off and have to be manually turned on. Once I had to have a tech / engineer come up to get it going for me. In the end, I gave up. NOT acceptable.

This location is not well kept.

I was disappointed that the heater in my room did not work, I checked in late, so I was not able to call and get in another room. The room was somewhat cold and I checked out early, as the room was to cold for me. Breakfast was great, but the dining room is too small and the coffee area was not kept clean, coffee also ran out. When I check in, the person who checked me in was able to accommodate me on the top floor.

Everything was good. The only problem we had was there was no cold water running in the shower so we couldn't shower with warm water. We saw a couple of small tiny roaches in the room as well.

Double charged me again for Prepaid booking. Put 240 on hold when it should be 20$each for 2 rooms. TV not working. Door knob battery was malfunctioning causing to wait for technician to fix.

The location of the hotel was convenient. The room was clean and quiet. I had my concerns because it was so near the airport, but it was very quiet. My only other concern was that there was no AC in the elevator, and because there was only 1 elevator, it took a while to reach us. Other than that...great stay, and will stay again next time.

Steve was great at time of check in, very nice and respectful. At checkout the lady was wonderful, also she handled herself very professional when she had to remove a gentleman from breakfast time without any alterations or getting loud. She kept her posture and spoke to him with gentle voice even though man was trying to get loud and curse. Kudos to her!

Horrible hotel, rude staff bathroom in bad shape breakfast is a joke

Nice place to stay for the weekend. Lots of restaurants and the mall are near by. My daughter and I enjoyed the pool and the free breakfast.

The room I booked had bedbugs in the pullout bed currently waiting to be reached by management there

Hotel was convenient for my needs. Front staff was very nice both at check in and check out. Room was nice. Needed a little maintenance which I told the person at the front desk at check out and she thanked me for the information and wrote things down so I hope they are taken care of

Hotel was not very clean at all. Room smelled like someone just got done smoking, tub would not work properly, Paint was chipping in room all over, in the bathroom there was rust on everything metal. While we stayed there for one night our friends truck got broke into on the property right out front under the lights. Staff was so so. The dayshift lady was not as friend as the evening/night person. Even when you click to check in early that doesn’t mean anything. We had to wait till 3:00 to actually get in. Breakfast options were very limited when we expected more.

Disappointed

The cleanliness wasn’t good..we found a small bug in our bed, the bathroom was not very clean( the toilet looked liked it hadn’t been clean in a while with black streaks inside), none of the outlets on the lamps worked and the tissue box was completely empty. We stayed busy most our trip so wasn’t in the hotel very long. Did use the pool and it looked cleaned but no towels were available. Overall very disappointing stay with y’all.

We checked in got dressed to go to Christmas party. We came back went to bed. In the morning when the lights were on my daughter bedsheets had urine stains the sheets. They wete never changed. I will be looking into this matter!!!!

Our stay was nice, the room was clean and had all working amenities. It wasn't too crowded, except for the breakfast area in the morning so my partner and I skipped it. Parking for the hotel is shared with another hotel so they fill up at night, but they have a parking garage you can park your car in. The area around the hotel was pretty great. There's all kinds of things to do within the area, and the activities you have to drive to are all 15 minutes away. Definitely recommend and will probably look into this hotel once again in our future visits!

Go on down the road not worth the stay! Old not kept up, mold and mildew in bathrooms and roaches on the wall. Dont forget the breakfast you are offered- not! Nothing available

The hotel was a last minute book for me. My flight got in late and I needed a place to stay for the night. The price was reasonable for one night. It did come with breakfast (one of the reasons I picked this hotel). My only complaint I have is the pillows were absolutely horrible.

Quiet, safe hotel. Perfect location for shopping and dining.
