Great stay

An exceptional stay for a fun girls weekend. I booked 1 room with 2 queen beds for 3 guests; upon arrival, I was offered a free upgrade to 2 king executive rooms. The front manager, Jeffrey, could not have been more pleasant and helpful. We need more Jeffreys in the world. He took us to the king rooms so we could see them before accepting the upgrade (we were hoping they were close to each other, which they were). He was so patient with all of our questions. We saw him during our stay and he always talked to us and asked how our rooms were. All the staff we encountered were amazing. Clean rooms. Comfy beds. Good breakfast for free. I would stay here again.

NYC with toddlers

We really enjoyed our stay at the Fairfield Inn. Pricing was very affordable and the location was excellent! Walking distance to Penn Station and to the subway, lots of convenience stores, bodegas and restaurants nearby. Size of the room is modest, I think pretty standard for what to expect in New York City. It felt quite tight with two queen beds and no space for our two toddlers to really stretch their legs. The hotel told us they would give us a crib, but never brought us one, and I am glad they didnt, because there would have been no room for it anywhere except maybe in front of the door by the bathroom. Otherwise, the rooms were quiet and peaceful, place was clean, bathroom was updated. Starff were friendly and willing to help, but they were also very busy. They offered free breakfast and we were pleasantly suprised by the spread and quality of food - good options for hot and cold foods and to-go options like yogurt, fruit, muffins etc.

This property was very well priced and exactly where we needed to be—close to train and Madison Square Garden. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Definitely will stay there again.

Staying at the Fairfield hotel in Midtown for 14 days with my daughter while she prepared for her math exam was an incredible experience. From the moment we arrived, it felt like the hotel had already anticipated our needs. Every little detail—from check-in to daily service—was handled with care, making us feel truly valued as guests.

I had a great experience at this hotel! Everything was clean and the staff was very friendly, one night we had an issue with the AC and they pretty quickly sent someone to fix it. On a prime location very accessible to walk everywhere and also the Penn station its near by. 10/10 will stay again.

Great location, if working or attending an event at the Javitz Center. Lobby always crowded. Elevators very slow. Breakfast is very limited and crowded.

Great central location and super friendly staff.

I went with some family to New York City to visit my niece and this hotel was wonderful. Everything was very clean and not run down like many other options we were looking at. The staff throughout the hotel was extremely friendly, very helpful and very courteous. The breakfast had a lot of great options for a free hot breakfast. Quite surprised actually. There were quite a few workers keeping everything clean and replenished. We took the shuttle from the hotel to LaGuardia airport and they were wonderful. The shuttle driver was so friendly and was giving us a little tour guide description of the areas as we were on our way to the airport. The location is wonderful and within walking distance for so many great attractions in the area. Highly recommend it.

We loved this hotel so much!!! Very professional and great customer service!!! We want to thank Hana from the front desk and Pedro that works in the breakfast area!! This hotel is located so conveniently near a lot of places in Manhattan!! We will be coming back next year definitely!!

Quality stay for an affordable price

Very nice hotel and great location. Beautiful smell in the lobby. Very cozy room. My only issues were the elevator buttons, they took multiple presses to get the button to work. The sink in the hotel room bathroom has dirt along the inner edges and drain hole. That’s simple fixes for cleaning staff who do their job thoroughly. Appreciated the fridge and microwave in the room. As a nursing mother these are needed and most hotels require you to request them.

close to everything. price was OK. nice breakfast. didn't like when it took a while to replenish the breakfast items. didn't like no coffee stand afternoon. didn't like the woman that start screaming and banging her door for more than 30 minutes at 4 am and it took forever for someone to get there.

2nd time staying. Front desk staff is wonderful. Lobby is a great place to hang out and the continental breakfast has many great options. The only slight negative is the notice the doors make when the cleaning staff is consistently in and out while cleaning. Def a bother if they clean early in the morning. All in all it is still my go to hotel if staying on the time square, MSG area. Close to all trains

A modern hotel, close to Times Square, Empire State Building, Penn Station and other locations. Friendly, helpful staff on hand to advise. Wonderful breakfast! Would highly recommend and will definitely be returning. We are a family of 4 who stayed in a room with 2 double beds.

Our group of 3 stayed here for 4 nights. It was a great home base to explore NYC. It is close to Times Square and Broadway shows as well as to the subway. The hotel was clean and quiet. Staff was friendly. Beds were comfortable. The room is very small (there's not much space for suitcases or to walk around the beds), but we did appreciate having queen sized beds. Overall, it was great and we would definitely stay here again.

The hotel staff was very professional—everyone from the front desk to cleaning staff was polite and helpful. Good breakfast. Only real complaint is that the bed and pillows are a bit hard. Convenient location to subway.

This is probably my 10th visit to New York in recent years and the best hotel I have stayed at. The room was very clean and everything looked new. The breakfast was excellent and everyone at the reception was super smiling. What more can you ask for.

Beautiful Hotel

It's a beautiful hotel. Very clean and comfortable. The staff are very friendly. The breakfast was okay, it was hard to get food as they kept running out. Elevators were packed on the higher level floors. You could wait 30 minutes to get a lift.

I had a nice stay and will definitely come back. The reception staff was very polite, especially Yohanna, who was incredibly helpful.

Fantastic hotel in a very convenient location. Friendly and helpful staff. Large breakfast area with many hot and cold options. The only two negatives are the elevator wait times and the street cleanliness. The street cleanliness is not the hotel's fault, of course. It's just life of a time square hotel. Also, we were there during new years, so we probably didn't see it at its best. I would definitely stay here again, and I would feel safe bringing children.

im not sure if it was just me but when i checked in they let me sign up for their website and was told about certain perks which i really never know what those are and was told that i canc heck out at 1pm...but when the day i was checking out, i had to ask and reconfirm and was told to check out by 12noon, which i did and was really confused coz i thought it would be 1pm..other than that, it was ok..the breakfast though was the same thing everyday except for the different potatoes and sausges...

The staff and quality of service was not just subpar, it was almost inhumane. There are so many better alternatives at this price range, you are better off going somewhere else. We were left freezing for 2 days with no heat and no help from the staff or the manager whatsoever. They treated us with complete disrespect and never cared to solve the issue. It literally took them 2 days, 8 phone-calls, and 4 in-person talks with the staff and the manager to get them to provide us with a space heater. No apology and nothing offered. I mean it, do yourself a favor and avoid the property.

As tourist, I loved this location with 4-5 min walk from the Penn. Station that is a major hub for connections with trains and subway. Downtown / Uptown subways easily accessible.

Very nice place to stay in NY and very central to what we needed. The breakfast is nothing to brag about but there are nice bagel / breakfast places close by. Plan on a little more time to and from your room as the wait for elevator can be long. The folks at the hotel are always ready to help.

I have been coming to New York City for almost 20 years and this is the first time staying at this hotel. It is by far my favorite - the staff was very friendly, the room was quite large for New York standards, the free breakfast was great, the location was great. I would definitely stay here again.

My daughter and I had a lovely night stay at the Fairfield Inn last night. I had contacted the front desk before our arrival for early check-in, and they were happy to help us. Our room was clean & tidy, and everyone on the staff was a joy!

Fine but not 4-star

This hotel is fine but not 4-star - more like 3 (or 3.5). 4-star implies a level of luxury that this place doesn't have. The bedroom was smart, clean & comfortable enough but nothing special. The lounge was noisy (in particular a tinny speaker by the Christmas tree blasting out Christmas music all day) and somewhat utilitarian - not somewhere you could comfortably hang out. Breakfast, though free/included for everyone I think, was OK but not 4-star. Somewhat limited range of things on offer, all self-service; much like Premier Inn in the UK. Overall fine, but not special and don't assume it is luxury.

Happy hour, large rooms for NYC and great staff are reason I would come back.

My stay here was good just breakfast was the same every day and wasn’t that good . Not to much variety . Bar didn’t have to much drink options . One night my room didnt get cleaned properly . Bed and pillows not very comfy . Although overall was pretty good the experience.

The heat didn’t work the entire night so I basically I froze in my room the entire night.

Great stay

The moment we entered to check in we were greeted by the staff and was offered a beverage. The lobby was beautiful and welcoming. Unfortunately, the lobby area was extremely warm for it being close to 60 degrees. The rooms even worse! Our thermostat wouldn’t let us control, the AC wouldn’t kick on. Besides being extremely warm and the pillows too soft it was a great hotel.

Very helpful staff. Especially helpful was Jonathan (hopefully got the name right, the gentleman who worked the luggage storage both mornings of 11/25 and 11/26) with the storage of out luggage. Also appreciated the concierge keycardbwe were given to have access to the bathrooms on the lower floor etc while out room was getting ready (we arrived much earlier than checkin)

Hotel was very convenient for us, and the breakfast was a big plus. Rooms were nice and the front desk great. Only complaint is that our room was only cleaned one day out of four.

I had a great stay at the Fairfield Inn, the hotel was very nice and clean. The location can't be beat. It is close to MSG and Times Square. The staff were very friendly, especially the front desk. Julio helped us out and was very helpful in answering all my questions and giving me all the details of the hotel. There is a garage parking near by, a couple blocks away that the hotel validates. The breakfast was okay, coffee was really good. Overall, I would stay here again!
