It has a very good location for shopping, dining.
We stayed 3 nights. But the hotel did not change used coffee cup and did not fill up shampoo and conditinor.
Excellent hotel for the price, with a perfect location in the middle of the new city. The buffet breakfasts were magnificent.
restaurant ok, washroom in the room cute rooms very small bad service bad parking and area with a car did not clean the rooms
Nightmare from beginning to end
The worst experience ever! When I checked in, I specifically asked if their wifi was working...they lied and said yes. Once I got settled in, wifi was not working- lost an entire day of work, couldn't rebook because I had no access to wifi. Had to go to another hotel to use their wifi and rebook my stay at another hotel in middle of the night. Hotel is refusing to refund my money- horrible, the worst stay of my night. Terrible
Hotel was clean and amenities were pleasant. Walls are thin, though. Overall great place.
Very good for a hotel of this rating. Central, basic, recently renovated.
Nicely renovated hotel in the center of Jerusalem near many shops and restaurants and walking distance to transportation.
This was a great hotel - clean, friendly staff, good breakfasts, lots of restaurants around, etc. However there was construction happening sometimes during the night that was very noisy and kept us awake. The worst though was the WIFI. We have a business to run back home when we travel and for a week we were lucky if we had slow very limited WIFI for maybe two of the days. Very disappointing.
Breakfast was really good. No internet for 2 of the 3 days we were there and then was spotty connection when we had it. We actually took our computers and had to work at a nearby restaurant just to have internet all days. Front desk staff was not helpful when a water leak fried a computer on the desk. Our door was only door that card access "broke" and they couldn't access the DVR for video coverage to see if/when cleaning staff/maintenance was in room. Rooms were small and you can hear your neighbor everytime they move. Overall bad experience in all 4 rooms for our 4 travelers.
Very basic hotel. Basic breakfast. Nothing unusual. They didn’t pass the omelette test. We had to ask twice for someone to clean our room. Finally someone showed up at 9PM. I will look for another property next time I’m in Jerusalem
The rooms need updating and attention to cleanliness and services
Good location in Jerusalem
The good - Great location in Jerusalem - Clean, comfortable rooms - Decent wifi The bad - Reception staff a little surly - Construction going on next door - Lots of street noise
Very clean
Second visit to this Hotel, we went back as it is in such a brilliant position in Jerusalem. Apart from the staff who cleaned the rooms, who were all friendly, the rest of the people we dealt with in the hotel were all unhelpful & miserable. We were more or less ignored after initial check in, never a hello or goodbye when we passed the reception desk, Each time we asked them something, such as ordering a cab, they were miserable & acted like we were an inconvenience! Will choose somewhere else next time.
The room I stayed in was more than adequately sized, and came equipped with a work desk, mini fridge and tv (which was fairly small, but that's what it was). The double be was two singles pushed together, which made it a bit uncomfortable. The bathroom was perfectly sized and the amenities were replenished every day, and the room was cleaned every day too. If you leave the breakfast room hungry, you only have yourself to blame. The range of options was amazing, there was always plenty of each offering available, and the dining staff were super friendly. The front desk staff could do with a course in customer relations. They weren't terrible, but it would be nice to have a welcoming presence for all guests whether at check-in or when you needed help. Pricing was very reasonable, and it's in a great area for shopping, transport, and great walks.
Good sowers bad service
Was very happy with our stay at the hotel. Staff was very helpful.
Was great! Will surely come back

Everything I asked for or was promised in the booking was not they also told me that they upgraded my room but I did not see any difference and in addition they charged me more and blamed the site from which I booked The shower had mosquitoes and the room was with one bed they told me it was possible to separate but it was not possible I booked a room with two beds It should be noted that the breakfast was good the dining room was clean and the hotel staff were nice
Honestly one is of the better options in Jerusalem.
Eyal Hotel, great choice for central Jerusalem.
Centrally located, attractive and clean. My room was ready earlier than 3, the key was waiting for me when I arrived at 1pm. The woman who welcomed me was knowledgeable and friendly. The room comfortable and clean. Great place to stay.
o Night with out window
It is ok for one or two night but a room without a window is not a nice or comfortable experience!!!
Perfect
comfortable, convenient, good value
Clean hotel. Great location. Rooms are small because of location. Very noisy because our room was over Ben Yehuda St on Purim.
OK hotel in a good location
Overall was OK Didn't like the fact there was no parking for us and we ended up paying 80 nis for parking and additional 120 nis for taxes.
Excellent location. Near important sites and restaraunts nearby. Food good. Staff helpful.
The room was lovely and new. Not big but sufficient. The breakfast was included in price and was fabulous
The breakfast buffert was outstandomg! Very couteous staff and close to rhe old city We walked there fro. The hotel.
Location excellent. Rooms nice, clean snd comfortable. Breakfast fantastic. 1 staff nice but the rest unhelpful and some rude
Wonderful location and nice roof top area to chill out. Very helpful receptionist staff, who can also help you to get a good tour guide to Bethlehem. We had a wonderful trip.
Location. Location. Location.
Perfect location. Walkable to everything worth seeing or doing in Jerusalem. Bathrooms need some work, showers flood. Breakfast is first rate. Best way to describe this place—feels like the guest room of a young professional’s apartment in a great neighborhood in a major city.
Only bad thing was the weak internet. Breakfast was fantastic and hotel is in a great location within a short walk to the old town. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby. Staff were very friendly, and the room was comfortable (albeit a bit small). Great stay.
Modern room was nice, bathroom needs to be a little bigger as hard to move around
Great location
Great location, breakfast and room
Very nice hotel, excellent service, breakfast is the best. Nice location close to transportation
Small room but comfortable for two. Super comfy beds. Appreciated the hot water maker and great shower - the only one I’ve ever seen with a nook where you can stand back until the water reaches the right temperature. The staff went to great lengths to be helpful: the young man at front desk actually walked us to a store nearby and helped us buy an adapter, and the staff allowed us to have a late checkout and arranged us a taxi to Tel Aviv. Only negative comment is that the streets outside are popular nightlife areas and do are noisy late at night.
Great location - perfect place to stay in Jerusalem. Nice room with good facilities - perfect town centre hotel
Good place to stay!
Breakfast typical for Israeli spread but missing raisins prunes dried apricots which are important for health reasons for many people. Staff generally helpful...EYAL is in a GREAT location! As they advertise- right near the pedestrian Ben Yehuda Street...close to the Light Rail, Walking distance to the Kotel and Mamila in one direction and the Shuk the other way ! Good beds and bedding
The hotel location its perfect ,the food very good .i things the employers in front desk need more treaning and information about the city and transportacion to help the visitors .
The hotel is in a very good area Kikar Zion. The food was very good.
Bad
Noisy, loud,
EYal at heart of Jerusalem
The overall was very good. The breakfast was excellent. There were two issued: 1) We tried 3 times to get a place in the parking but it was always full. 2) The check-in took too much time about 30 minutes.(just one employee at the reception).
Good location, but on site parking spotty and outside parking expensive.
is was great staying at hotel eyal.this is our second time there and probably will come again
Staff were very helpful especially Daniella who organized a gym for us. Great supply of towels and toiletries. There is a rooftop sauna wish it had a pool.
Fantastic location. It is a 2 min walk to the action and restaurants by Ben Yahuda st and Jaffa street. 10 min stroll to Mamilla mall and Jaffa gate (old city) and another 10 mins to the western wall. Hotel is broadly clean and basic. Staff could be more helpful with some of the questions directed to them during my stay
hotel was understaffed to promptly accommodate clients
The property is 15mins walk to Christian Quarter in the Old city and 10mins walk to Jaffa Gate. Surrounded with Restaurants and Shops easy access to everywhere. The hotel breakfast is ok mixed varieties of Hot and Cold Food (kosher and Israelian Dishes) there are days that staff keep knocking your door for mistaken room request even in the night. Also we stayed for 6 days and they don’t change your bedsheet everyday but all in all this property ain’t that bad for European Traveler like me.
Everything was fine except TV didn’t work often. The staff was excellent and professional. We will stay again. Great location
Time in Jerusalem
My family had to book two rooms which were of different styles. One was better than the other and was more challenging for some members to get ready both in the morning and the evening. The breakfast provided was good. The location to Ben Yahuda street was great and getting to and from the Old City.
A lot of noises because they are repairing the streets and i have to change the hotel because i can not sleep
Our group stay at the Eyal was very disappointing. The rooms had ants, the showers leaked, the air conditioning never fully cooled the rooms, one refrigerator didn't work and had mold, and we weren't given any towels after the morning service. We requested to be moved to quieter rooms, so we were given interior rooms which were much quieter the next night, but one of the rooms still had ants and a leaky shower. After a few nights, we requested to be released from our reservation to change hotels, but the reservation department would not permit it. The local hotel manager did her best to upgrade us to better rooms for the final nights, but we still had one leaky shower and sink, and significant street noise. We seriously considered forfeiting our money for the last few nights, and looking for a different hotel anyway. This hotel won an award in 2015 shortly after being remodeled. However, very little maintenance has been completed since that time. It is showing age and serious maintenance issues. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
Great location next to restaurants, shopping, short walk to light rail transportation around Jerusalem. Comfortable rooms that are clean. Beautiful Israeli breakfast every morning. One issue - street tends to be noisy at night. Earplugs definitely helpful. Highly recommend.
Excellent stay at the Eyal hotel. Great, clean room and wonderful buffet breakfast. Fantastic location, a block from Ben Yehuda street and close to the old city. Although some reviewers complain of the noise, it's an acceptable trade-off for such a great location in a wonderful lively area with shops and restaurants. Front desk staff very friendly and extremely helpful. Highly recommend the hotel.
The hotel appeared to be on the newer side, very modern rooms. The hotel does offer breakfast in the morning, very nice selections. The hotel is in walking distance of many cafes and shops. NOTE: If you are staying there over a Friday or Saturday, just be aware/prepared that almost all cafes/stores shut down around 4pm on Friday and don't open back up until Saturday evening around 9pm (due to Jewish Sabbath). However, there was a small store right across the street that sold the basics. Overall, I would stay there again.
A1
Nice clean room. Amazing breakfast. Great location
The staff was friendly and very accommodating - let us store luggage both before check-in and after check-out, and scrambled to clean a room for us when we arrived 6 hours before check-in. The breakfast selection was extensive. The location was perfect for access to the Old City and transportation during the day and bars and restaurants at night. The walls of the rooms are a little thin.
Staff were so helpful and accommodating. The mattress on the one bed was faulty and they immediately moved us to another room. Breakfast were very good, especially for Passover. Have booked to stay again on my return to Jerusalem
Enjoyed very much
Not worth the charges. I’d call it a 2+star hotel. Freezing in room. Took 4 calls to get extra blankets. Would not stay there again.
The room was nice and clean the breakfast was good location great. Check in was frustrating, the reception kept telling my husband we didn’t have a reservation and wouldn’t let him in the underground parking. We did have a reservation and we had to call back again and tell them to look up our name. I had just checked in so I am not sure why they kept telling us no. And on check out they tried to charge us more than we were told for our baby. Luckily I saved their original email to me so they charged that price. But without that email we would have been charged more.
Great location, responsive staff, clean rooms and great brakfast
Good location. Nice staff. Super tiny bathroom. Enjoyed our stay.
I had cancelled the reservation and never stayed there. I am extremely angry since I had cancelled the reservation.
Fabulous location. Large clean room with comfortable accommodations. Breakfast was excellent
cleanliness disappointing , maintainance of bathroom poor. Friendly and obliging though. will not stay again.
Overall i liked this hotel. It has excellent public transport links to both the train and bus stations, about 10 minutes on the tram and is an easy 10 minute walk to the old city. The staff are very nice.Everywhere is very clean and new looking. The only negative thing i would say is i found the bed small .
Eyal Hotel was perfectly located. We didn't need any transportation if we wanted to do some shopping or get some food. The room was small but very nice. The only problem I had was that they verified in an email that the front desk would have a power adapter and iron but had neither. The hotel looks like it is in a secluded area but there is a lot of activity about a block away. We would choose Eyal Hotel again.
Great location, Great staff, not great room temper
The staff was amazing, very helpful and attentive. Some minor issues that needed taking care of and that was within their capabilities, they did well. Definitely not a hotel to stay at if you like control of your room temperature. All centrally controlled, with very little to add from the room. That was the only negative part
Very pleased with my stay!
Great hotel, location and great breakfast buffet!
Great location Excellent breakfast Very kind helpful staff Happy to stay next time in jerusalem
The Eyal hotel staff was friendly, English speaking and very professional. Loved the boutique atmosphere.
This is more like an apartment building than a hotel. But its a very nice apartment building!
Comfortable but HOT
We needed a last minute hotel and this place worked out great! The reason I gave this review is because the hotel room reached 29C at 0400, we tried to change the temperature to a lower amount and it wouldn't drop below 27C. We had to turn the AC/heat off completely and open a window for the room to cool down. When I mentioned this to the front desk the next morning they seem uninterested in the information and didn't see what the big deal was. For this reason I was extremely happy we were only staying there for one night and didn't have to endure another 29C evening.
Conveniently located. Only about a 15 min walk from the Jaffa Gate in the Old City. The light rail is about 100 yards from the hotel. Makes it real easy to get around Jerusalem. Lots of restaurants nearby. The breakfast in the hotel is very good. The reception staff was friendly and helpful. Overall, it is a pretty good value for the money. I would stay at this hotel again.
Modern decoration.... Good breakfast and very well located.
Great bang for your buck. Location is great, rooms are updated, and the hotel is clean. Has it's own parking lot and access to a full gym across the street. Around the corner from Ben Yehuda st., walking distance to Mahane Yehuda, Mamilla Mall, and the old city.
Stayed in room 404, Oct. 20-Oct. 28, 2018. Everything was great except for some flies of some unknown kind in the bathroom and the lack of a full shower door, which led to some water "clean up" on the floor when using the handset. The room was clean and the staff was very nice. I can't imagine a better breakfast buffet in all of Jerusalem!! So many choices, there was something there for everyone!! I do have to mention this though...they moved us out of our room a day early (our last day in Jerusalem) and into a room in another one of their hotels nearby. They had another group coming that day and had overbooked the hotel. We had made our reservation 6 months prior. Although they were very apologetic, this isn't the way to run a business. They did, however, offer to pay for a very nice dinner our last night, at a highly rated restaurant nearby. Having said this, my wife and I would stay there again. Oh yes, did I mention the great breakfast buffet?
Pros: great location, delicious breakfast, friendly staff, good daily upkeep of our room Cons: relatively slow internet, some street noise (did not bother us) Overall, we had a great week staying in this hotel during our visit of Jerusalem and would recommend to everyone
Great location. Very good breakfast buffet. Clean rooms. Friendly staff.
Short but pleasant stay.
We stayed at Eyal only one night but it was a pleasant stay. This hotel is conveniently located within walking distance from major tourists places. Their breakfast is great and the staff is very friendly. They let us to leave our car in their underground parking for several more hours after we checked out. That was very nice since street parking in these parts of the city is a major hustle.
Excellent location
We couldn't have had a better hotel for superb location, breakfasts, and staff. The Reception staff were so helpful in every way, and the dining staff always cheerful and attentive. The Old City was a 10 - 15 minute walk away (remember, Jerusalem is built on a hill, so one way is downhill, the other way is uphill!). Two of the main streets were less than a minute away: Ben Yehuda street and Jaffa (Yafo) Street, both of which are full of shops, eateries, the Light Rail, etc. Our en suite room was bright, clean and with air conditioning, and the facilities were all that any tourist would need - including a (free) safe. The hotel also has free wi-fi. What more can we add.....other than try it for yourself. You won't be disappointed!
A real gem
I loved this hotel. A beautiful concept. It was near Ben Yehuda street and the train. There’s a rooftop lounge. The best part was the staff who helped me many times with my questions
Good value - clean and nice staff
Not bad, clean room great location has parking under building.
Dont have words to say. Wonderful staff. Really, really, really good people. The accomodation os Very good too. But the highligh is the staff. Amazing people. Thank you ALL. Perfect.
Very nice. Fine.
Boutique hotel
Loved the location . Very accommodating staff... my room was not cleaned one day.. the guy said I left the do not disturb ticket there.. but I left at 1130 and took it off ... they should have checked. Breakfast amazing!! Overall very happy!!!!
I really liked this hotel. The location is fabulous: near the Old City, restaurants and public transportation. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast buffet was delicious.
Great position and all comforts at a good price
Nice hotel in a great position nothing fancy but clean with all facilities that you need
The hotel is in bad shape. The rooms are run down and not very clean. They have a serious problem with insects. Small worms kept appearing on the sink and little insects in various places. Hotel needs to deal with that and refurbish facilities. Nice breakfast though and prime location.
Breakfast is good. Staff is good. Good location. Good enough for short stay or business trip.
Great hotel!
The hotel is in a great location, local to Ben Yehuda street which has all the shops and restaurants. It is a bit far of a walk to the Western Wall. Breakfast had many options. The staff was very friendly and helpful, they made sure all our rooms were next to each other (we were a big group) and made sure all our rooms were ready with extra beds right away. Clean room, clean hotel
Nice hotel, great location
Nice, modern hotel in a good location. loved the roof deck. only downside were the tiny flies all over the bathroom. I think I killed maybe 30 of them over our stay but they just kept coming back.
Fabulous Boutique Hotel in Jerusalem Centre
Absolutely loved this gem in Jerusalem Centre. The location was perfect , within walking distance to the many delights of Jerusalem. The hotel had a quirky decor, the rooms although a bit on the small side were comfortable and beautifully decorated. The complimentary breakfast was really wonderful, so much choice and all of it delicious. The staff were great, so friendly and helpful. The only downside was the wifi which was so-so. All in all, a truly great stay for us.
Worst hotel experience I've ever had! When we arrived early for an event breakfast that our friend was having the reception was demeaning and absolutely rude. The service and our experience just went downhill from there. There was no parking at the hotel even though it advertised free parking and I called multiple times to confirm. We were told that it's limited parking, but we asked multiple times every day and there was never anything available. We had to park a block and half away for $18 a day which was very annoying since we would have stayed somewhere else if I'd known about the charge. The room looked nice on first appearance, but the phone and television didn't work. We were told by reception that someone would come look at it, but they didn't work throughout our stay and were never updated by reception on if they came at all. We can top this off by the 3 bugs that I had to kill in the room. The hotel is in a nice location which I would stay around again, but I would never stay here again.
Clean hotel and friendly, caring staff. Well worth the fair price. Also a nice location
A gem in the heart of Jerusalem
Cute, comfortable hotel close to shopping and dining on Ben Yehuda, Jaffa St and the light rail. The old city is nearby. We walked to the Jaffa Gste. Breakfast is delicious and ample . I will be coming back again .
Perfect stay
Great place to stay. Accommodations were clean and comfortable

Good value, location. Hotel a bit “tired”
Hotel has all amenities but is a bit “tired”. Was relatively clean. Breakfast is outstanding. Location is perfect …. Easy walk or light-rail ride to train and bus station, old city, restaurants, shopping. It needs updating but the value is good. Rooms are small but that’s typical in Jerusalem.
