very dirty
Good for a sleep and a shower.
The gentleman that checked me in was nice. If you are looking for a bed and a bath primarily then this is the place. The room and bathroom were clean. The bed was very comfortable and I slept well. One of the towels had grease stains on it (like mechanic's grease). These rooms are used primarly by service and repair workers; construction crews and the like. The fixtures in the room were worn (they functioned) but they weren't pretty. My tv didn't work. But, I didn't complain as I didn't need to stay up any later. When I came down in the morning to check out, there was no one at the front desk; the coffee service was completely empty; all offerings for the "continental" breakfast were empty.
Good Hotel
The room was in good condition. Mattress was just right, not too soft, not too hard. The room was clean. I felt safe in the hotel. The grounds needed some trash pick-up but nothing bad. The location is pretty good. It's a bit tricky to get to off east 290 because of the construction. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would stay here again.
The worst hotel I stated wouldn’t recommend it to anybody. No cleaning dirty smell like cigarette didn’t change out my towels for four days. I was there very unprofessional staff.
Great place to stay. Affordable and in a nice area.
It didnt have a real lobby
A smelly time
I found the source of piss smell, it was a diaper behind the toilet. Went to the front desk and told them, they didnt do anything about it. Threw it away in the hall trash can. Also no free WiFi, last i checked, it is 2025. Free wifi for a hotel isnt a big ask. I get it if you want to download a ton of stuff, thats different. However browsing the internet isnt a big use of wifi. Also no security cameras? Despite having angry people in the lobby and a homeless camp 100 yards to the right of the hotel.
Terrible service rooms dirty trash under the beds someone else cloths in the drawers no housekeeping service it say free breakfast just cup cakes and coffee not a good experience my kids terrible to go out because the look and the surroundings pay to much money left a day before my check out never again will stay in this hotel employee look terrible dress code failed
The room was clean.
The cheapest national brand hotel with near zero frills. OK, zero frills. The front desk clerk runs the laundry. Let's just hope they've always washed their hands before returning from the laundry room, which is where the door goes right behind the front desk counter. The thought of the clerk handling the sheets & towels, then my credit card and room key without washing thier hands is a bit revolting, unless you're into that kinda stuff. The place is clean, and the furnishing are post college grad, first apartment kinda quality. It works.
This place is a dump!!!! Do not stay here. Don’t be fooled by the pictures on here. Room was old, holes in curtain, rusted stove top, broken counter top and a tiny tv from the 90's. I left the light on all night in fear of roaches coming out.
For the price it was good.
Not what was advertised. I chose this hotel because the advertisement contained the 3 things I was looking for: breakfast, swimming pool, and a functioning kitchenette. As it turned out, the breakfast was a packet of instant oatmeal, there is no pool, and the kitchenette had no cooking utensils (although they are available upon request at the front desk). The bed was comfortable, and the room was quiet, but beyond that, it is not as advertised.
The location was good. Offset a little bit kind of a hideaway.. Kitchenette was good hotel was pretty quiet
I really like the amenities this property had to offer however, there was a very distinctive smell that we did not like, and it was very concerning during our stay It was not a pleasant smell whatsoever
I booked this hotel originally for four nights and once we checked in after our flight being delayed by eight hours we immediately knew we would be leaving first thing in the morning. The room was moldy, the burners were gross corroded with burnt food, the sheets were dirty with curly hairs embedded deep into them. The bathroom had leftover shower scum and hair in the tub. The room was completely outdated, very small, no dishes or utensils in the room , that was something you had to ask the desk for. The smell in the hallways was enough to load back into the car. Very dissapointed and will not be back. Not to mention the cost for four nights was $1,100 USD - we checked out the next morning and we still have yet to get our money back and it’s been four days. 9/10 I would not recommend. Note to add, we did not even get in the blankets
Location
This hotel had questionable people outside all the time. When we got there and checked in one of the maids and her friends came into our room. Not sure what they were trying to do but they used their key and barged in on us. Someone was in the room above us running and jumping around all night long.
We had to wait 20 minutes to check in for our reservation; no one was at the counter. We had to call the hotel while standing in the lobby. The room was dirty, stinky, and super old. It was supposed to be a non-smoking facility; people were, and not just cigarettes. Free breakfast is a joke. Coffee and just a prepackaged muffin.
Very safe. Lean and
Very clean
Great stay. My hotel of choice when in Austin
Elevator was broken needs better maintenance.
I like the Asian lady who checked me in this week and the week before. She's amazing. I saw a roach come out of the tub system.
N/A
no sugar or creamers privided for basic coffe abd rude staffs at front desk. not ready to get anything we ask
No ice machine , room was ready but made me wait till 3pm because I booked through a 3rd party . Blankets were thin like airplane thin .
The front office lady was disrespectful and it took over an hour waiting to check out
Front desk staff is horrible, pay extra $15 go somewhere else
Horrible experience
The gentleman checking me in had the worst attitude. He tried to charge me for a pet and I don’t have a pet. He argued with me about the charge. He wasn’t very friendly. Also the ac unit made a terrible sound all night long. Not the best nights rest. Definitely give this 1 star
Nice
Great staff
I booked a suite to heal for a few days. The staff were AMAZING. They ere accommodating, kind, and considerate. The room was ok. The water pressure was low. If it wasn’t for the medications I was on I don’t think I’d have slept at all. A very annoying light flashed above the bed the entire time. It was impossible to sleep until the meds kicked in. I wasn’t able to have the fan blow continuously because it kept shrieking. There was a foul odor in the hallway.
Staff is/was wonderful. Only complaint is breakfast items run out way before the 9:30 cutoff time. No way for them to restock breakfast items.
Wasn't the best. Only 3 pillows, when I asked for a 4th I was told they didn't have one available. . . So my girl slept fine however I got to wake up with a crooked neck. Also don't show up early and expect them to check you in 5 mins early. . . They won't for some stupid reason. The "breakfast" offered is nothing more than horrible coffeenand some kind of stale muffin in a bag. I suggest the La Quinta about a mile north of this place instead, they had a hot breakfast with decent coffee, juice, the usual cereal and waffles as well as scrambled eggs and sausage links.
Fun
Stay away
The customer service was really great the employees were so nice but the hotel was very gross. Smelled awful we only stayed one night then switched hotels.
I love the beds
Understaffed
It’s was comfy
Sheets were dirty, they were not change hairs and body fluids
Ok
The web page said breakfast included. Wow what an understatement. It had one coffee pot and one pot for hot water. Some Tea bags and little things of creamer. NOT EVEN ANY SUGAR. 3 little chocolate muffins (pre-packaged). This is not what I consider a breakfast. Do not say you have a breakfast included if what you really mean is a cup of coffee with no sugar.
Nice and quiet
Good experience
The staff was friendly and very helpful, just like last my previous stay. The room was comfortable and clean. There was a slight smell as if a prior guest had smoked in the room, thankfully the smell was just present not overwhelming.
Hotel is in need of renovation. It was clean as best the staff could but the old carpet, bathroom fixtures etc all need replacement. Good location for our purposes and price reflected age and condition. Breakfast included is advertised but only coffee and maybe muffins and bags of oatmeal. In 4 days never saw anything but coffee so maybe have to get there at 6:00 am?
No breakfast in the morning, people never at front desk and no access to drinks since vending machine is broken
The room was Efficient as far as there was a small kitchen but the housekeeping missed some key items. My friend went to the restroom and was grossed out. There were Horne stains on the toilet seat and the trash in the kitchen was not taken out and smelled bad.
Nice, clean
Staff was friendly. Great location for my purpose.
First time staying at Extended Stay
Everything was fine. The people who works there are friendly and nice. The road getting there is a little awkward. They cooking utensils available to be use in the kitchenette, which was nice. They have an iron board, but you need to BYO hair dryer. Maybe its me for not having to experience the bow out shower curtain. How do you prevent water from going outside the tub?
Only ok
Locks were not working, carpet badly frayed, substandard cleaning, no towels in room, only employee on duty was friendly but overwhelmed
Will not go back.
It took over 20 minutes to get checked in. One person working the front desk and he had to go to every room with a hand held device to code the room keys so they would work. The next morning, front desk person had an attitude about getting clean towels. By 8:00 am - there was nothing in the “grab & go” breakfast baskets. Baskets were again still empty on Sunday morning at 7:10 am as we were leaving. We stay in Austin frequently (6 or more times a year) and I will not go back. The location of the hotel is close to where I need to be in Austin, but location is not enough in this case.
One night stay
Needs more help Card system was down which was inconvenient I’m very patient but other customers were rude and loud Feels there should be more than one person there to assist each other in the matter The room was good enough for one night somewhere to lay Wasn’t dirty or very clean it was just okay
Room 211
Overall I it was a good experience. My recommendations are: * make sure the blanket is clean; it was not terrible but had hair which I wasn’t sure if it was from human or from dog. * the chair in the work space was very unstable and therefore uncomfortable. * the carpet by the bathroom is torn and looks ugly.
It’s okay
First night we got there we did not have room keys because the system was down so we had to wait for someone to walk us to our room everytime we left . Then we didn’t have hot shower water at all . But my kids and I made it work.
Filthy
We didnt stay , the room was filthy and smelled like urine. There was hair on the counter and sink and the toilet lid appeared to have dried poop on it.
Immediately checked out and went somewhere else. Hair in sink, on floor and on bed. Smelled musty and like smoke. Busted window at the front. Another guest was requesting to see cameras because someone had been in her room. Absolutely disgusting and shocking they are even open.
Never Again
We had a tough time from the minute we got there. We had to wait for check-in, the whole place smells like cigarettes, we had a guest on our hall stop us and ask us to bum a cigarette before we got in our room, everything was dated, and most egregiously, the curtains were moldy. There was a pet fee that wasn’t mentioned in the booking, and there was only a coffee bar, no breakfast.
Seriously?
Shower water was luke warm all week. No cooking utensils in the room, No room service for all 4 days. wash machines did not work.--Hotel said it wasn't there issue.no coffee one day-girl working there was too busy on her phone to check. trash in parking lot for 4 days. pot smell all 4 days.this is only half the list.
Not luxury but plenty good.
You get exactly what you pay for. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The hotel itself is not a luxury hotel and doesn’t claim to be. The rooms are clean but a bit run down. No complaints for the price and would consider staying again!
The staff was rude when registering as they had no rooms available until they were ready after check out. This was at 1 pm and check in time was three pm. They said come back in a little while, We did but still not available until 3 pm. They were just rude about it. They room smelled like smoke thou it was a non smoking facility. The faucet in the kitchen area dripped as did the bathroom faucet. It was reported the second day of a week long stay but never fixed. there was no coffee at 8:30 am and took two attempts before we got coffee at 9:20 am. There was no "grab and Go" food like muffins except the last day of our stay. We got oatmeal packet two of the 7 days. Very poor planning and replentishment given a full house due to SW festival. One bright spot was Joseph at the front desk at night who replaced towels and was kind!
One of the maids interrupted a conversation with the checkin person. Reason unknown why she started to yell at me in front of the other employee. I warned her I would report the incident. This was at my check in time. Someone needs to talk to this employee she may be doing it to others that stay.
The hotel is in need of upgrading. There was water damage in the wall above the shower head, probably from water leaking on the floor above. The water also never got hot. I had to take quick showers because it only reached a very like warm temperatures. The mattress and pillows also need an upgrade, not very comfortable at all.
The charge for dogs was the highest we have ever paid. Thought it was crazy that we were at an extended stay hotel with a kitchen but nothing was in the kitchen. You had to go to the desk to ask for anything. Not even a coffee maker in the kitchen. Only 1 shampoo for two people. Also had to bring your dirty towels down to desk before you could get clean towels.
No hot water. Reserved for a two bed hotel room & was only given a room with one bed.
No hot water and dirty room
Very clean. Affordable!
pet friendly thank you
One night stay. Bed was firm but comfortable and room was clean. Did not have any hot water. There was no breakfast just coffee. Wanted to be in that area and this was the least expensive option but probably won’t stay again.
Everything was fine. We had to take the tv remote down to get new batteries because it wasn’t working. Then on Saturday night both keys to our room didn’t want to work so had to go back down to have them replaced. It really wasn’t a bad experience. All in all there was only one thing that bothered me. It was the constant smell of Marijuana in the hallway and elevators.
Very dirty outside. Took 3 hours to check in.
They advertise as offering breakfast which is a lie.All you will find is coffee.
NO HOT WATER PLACE HAS A RUSTED STOVE #410 HOUSING ILLIGALS COPS CAME TO REMOVE ONE .. CASEY AND HER MOTHER TWILA JAMAICAN RUDE JACK
The towels were dingy, the room didn’t have any cups, nor coffee/tea as specified in the ad. Other than that, the the night clerk was very nice,as was the lady that checked me out this morning.
Very quiet
Excellent staff care
Room was great but the A/C in my room kept turning on and off they need to fix that
this day was better than the last two days I was there for
literally gave me a room that sounds straight up by cigarettes and have mold on the ceiling
Lousy stay
Super thin walls. Woke up at 4:30 am to screams down the hall. Room in rough shape.
It was cheap - but we’re never going to stay here again if we can help it. The room was old and not in good shape - but clean? The beds were uncomfortable and the bedding was almost nonexistent. The staff was lovely- genuinely nice people who were friendly and helpful.
Had to wait 15 plus minutes while the 80 year old staff on the phone with a customer. Waited another 15 minutes more to get checked in because the old man couldn't get the computer to work...Waiting to check in was very unpleasant. 2 unhappy looking woman with suitcases waiting and waiting for ? A kid sitting on the dirty floor with a huge pitbull, moving back and forth trying to get the rope off his neck. A 350 pounds man just sitting directly infront of the check in counter talking to himself...Walked into our room, is an old, rusty 2 burners stove, an old refrigerator and a very old, scuffy dresser. Carpet looks like it has not been vacuum in awhile.. The only good thing about this stay was that the room was clean. We stayed only one night and used all 3 locks.
The employees lied about an early check in because of getting the room ready yet on checkout day they said they had no maid service on our check in day. We found our room dirty with liquor containers and bottles. Key cards did not work in exterior door's. Luggage cart wheels were flat and they stated they have been trying for a long time to get it fixed. No breakfasr like advertised. Poor management.
Joseph at front desk was awesome
The GM Casey is not social able, rude, stand offish and has an attitude. Her listening skills need some work as well. Twyla, Joseph, and Crystal are wonderful and caring people at the front desk at the Southwest Hwy & US Hwy 290.
Dirty carpets, hair in sink, loose toilet, lamps didn't work, noisy, weird night manager who called my room at 1030 pm to make sure everything was, "to my liking." The key magnetizer only works for certain rooms, so they escort you to your room to program your key. You only get one key. The night manager actually knocked on my room's door while programming my key to make sure no one was in the room already. No breakfast, just coffee and granola bars. All this for just $165/night. But the bed was somewhat comfortable.
The only redeeming value of this property was it was close to where I needed to be….& cheap too!
Good clean room with comfortable bed. Shower water pressure is very low.
Friendly staff
This hotel was trash! Old, dirty, poorly maintained, rare to come in contact with ANY staff. The beds are uncomfortable, pillow are flat, no amenities to speak of… The booking site mentions bkfst included and that’s definitely not the case. Unsightly characters were commonly seen around the property, grilling in the parking lot, or working on cars. Only positive is that it’s a pet friendly property. Won’t ever be going back! Yuck
towels were dirty. tv didn't have working remote. no breakfast available. shower took 20 minutes to go from frigid to tepid.
I was told breakfast is included when I booked the room, but in the morning, there was only dark coffee available without even any cream. They told me it is because of supply chain problem.
It's not easy to find of the access road, they need a sign on the frontage road pointing to the hotel.
Could do better
Cleanliness not a priority. Bathroom floor dirty. Hair all over the sheets. Couldn't have been fresh sheets. Should’ve paid $10-20 more for better quality stay at another establishment.
The floors in the room were sticky. The water was too hot for a shower, the cold maybe wasn’t working because the temps wouldn’t adjust. Staff was not available. We had to wait for a few minutes before someone came to the front desk.
Homeless hang around the property. Weird chemical smell in the room. No ice machines.
Disgusting and extremely expensive
Will not return!
The moment we walked in, we were met with rudeness, pretty much. We arrived in town quite early, so we thought we'd visit with my daughters since they were already there. Although we understand the privacy of patrons when we asked about my daughter, they were rude when my girlfriend needed a restroom and would not help her. Why would we just walk into a random hotel for a restroom?? About 30 minutes before our check-in time, we asked if we can go ahead and check in since we were there, in a rude way, we were told we can check in at 3pm. Most places would at least do the process, and if the room wasn't ready for an early check-in, that is all she had to say...politely! We saw no housekeeping in the halls We had no hot water for showers!! People should have hot water! For the price people pay to stay at this establishment, there is no breakfast. The lady at check-in was awfully excited about their coffee bar in the morning--it was a joke! I paid LESS at other hotels with a very nice breakfast offering!
Group of construction workers drinking every night in picnic area leaving a mess. One morning as I left for the day a person was sleeping in the stairwell.

We had a wonderfull stay. This facility was centrally located for our needs. Near downtown, near COTA, near airport. Off hwy 290 and plenty of options for food and shopping.
