Good Stay

The commuication was good and friendly and the check in process was easy. The room was as described and in a good location. The wifi could be quicker as it was difficult to stream.

Spotlessly clean, precise and flexible at the same time. Brilliant!

The tints of the room wood and green. The old « cachet », the tranquility, the location, the simplicity.

Garbage stacked high as you enter door to hallway. No lightening in hall need to bring a flashlight. Hotel is cash only, do not take credit card. Toilet area reeked with strong smelling perfume. Sunday breakfast not worth 6 euros, need extra euro if you want coffee that is not instant. Only get clean towels every 3 days said it was a Hungarian law. No padded mattress cover only two fitted sheets. No host on site instead surveillance cameras in common area. Good things—room quite with nice furniture, location close to city center, Breakfast Monday-Saturday at contracted cafe down street was excellent staff very friendly. I would not recommend this place, instead spend a few more euros and get a nice place.

One night sleep over. Nice friendly staff, excellent location for trains to anywhere in Hungary. Would stay again. The room was clean and spacious.

Break in Budapest Good

Good location for a tourist break. Centrally places for all amenities. Anytime tea and coffee is an advantage. Breakfast at a local cafe is innovative and helps local community. Would recommend all tourists.

This is a great little guest house. It has a great family fell and the owner Agnes cannot be any more accommodating. The rooms are clean and spacious. Located close to transport links and within walking distance of most of the areas you want to see when you are in Budapest. Would definitely stay here again.

Looks like Washington heights in NYC. Very homey

Had a personal driver pick us up from airport and take us directly to hotel. Cost 29euro for about a 40-minute or so ride. He was very professional and a good driver. They do not have reception but Agnes was there and very helpful, she was a previous tour guide and showed us a map and drew on what places to see. Myself and my colleague don't mind walking so we walked everywhere but there are buses. The place is next to a huge mall,very simple to get too. That is about it for things near it though. You'll need to walk or catch a bus or cab to downtown. Took is about 45minutes to walk downtown.

Evergreen Guest House turned out to be a great choice for me. Though I didn't explore, I think it is located in a residential building. Stairs are required to get to the level of the lift. The building was spotless and polished. Registration & my room was on the 2nd floor. Both the building and the GH have secured entries. There's a small community area with self-service teas and coffee as well as a computer to access. My single was nicely furnished a decorated for comfort and functionality. Bathroom was en-suite. I loved the extra large windows in this old building, opening them for fresh, cool air in the evenings. The complimentary breakfast is about a 1/2 block away in a local restaurant. The plus is that there are options to choose so long term guests aren't eating the same meal every morning. I really liked the restaurant - tasty food, filling breakfast, pleasant staff and cute environment. I either took the tram (about a 10 min. walk) or simply walked into the CBD. The architecture throughout the walks were so fabulous that I didn't usually mind the walk (though I was there during a cool, rainy week). As a solo traveler, I maintained alertness returning to the property in the evenings (there's a sex shop on the street and some questionable bars), but I NEVER saw, heard or experienced anything that caused alarm. I would stay here again and would recommend to others. You get a LOT for your money!

Great budget option!

Single room met all my needs. Small staff hospitable and friendly. Breakfast at local restaurant- very good and friendly. Filling options. Location is good with short walk to many types of public transportation. Tram 2 is about two stops from parliament. At 40 euro a night, this was a great value! I would highly recommend to a budget traveler.

The stay was acceptable, but I think for what you pay is on the expensive side. If you use to stay in hotel rooms it feels strange. I don't think I will be staying there again. A warm and friendly place to stay

We stayed at this friendly B&B for our last two days in Budapest. When we tuned up in the morning at the door we were a little uncertain that we had made a good choice – the B&B sign was hanging outside a rather dilapidated building. But we needn’t have worried. Once we were in and had climbed the two flights of stairs (there is a lift from at least the 1st floor) we found the B&B to be a warm and friendly place on the second floor. The owner/manager was very welcoming and we were able to leave our cases before checking in later in the afternoon. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable with all the facilities we needed. Coffee and tea could be taken (free of charge) at any time in the communal room. Breakfast is provided at a café across the road (except Sundays when it is in house) – it was nothing fancy but quite adequate. We dealt with another two members of staff during the time we were there and both were very helpful and friendly. Evergreen is located just outside the main centre of Pest but within walking distance of the centre, the River Danube and Buda as well as Margit Island. Alternatively there are lots of trams and busses that pass close by. There are also plenty of eating establishments nearby (our favourite was Lecso), as well as supermarkets. It seems to be in an area still mainly frequented by locals but with a few tourists about. We did NOT feel unsafe at any time.

Basic, clean and conveniently located room to vent

cordial welcome at agreed time (late evening) and smooth check-in. basic, clean room. breakfast at nearby cafe (popular with locals) was of good quality. located close to subway. from 8pm till 8 am free parking on street. were lucky to find spot even at B&B entrance, but noticed several spots still walking distance.

Clean pleasant guest house

make sure you ring to make arrangements for arrival times. Very pleasant helpful owner. Lovely clean room with communal coffee/tea making area. Very nice breakfast which is included in the tarif but you go over the road to a cafe which is in partnership with the guesthouse.

Clean and Comfortable

The room was clean and first-rate, and the host was extremely nice. It was, however, extremely hot, and the room has no air conditioning. If they would add that, I would stay nowhere else in Budapest. the other amenities, toilet, shower, mini-fridge, etc. were great. It is a five-minute walk from Nyugati station, and five minutes the other way from Margaret Island.

A pleasent stay

The room were clean and arranged as described by the hotel. The staff willingly adapted the check-in and check-out time to suit arrival and departure as much as were possible for them given other guests/bookings.

Quirky B&B in great Budapest location

This B&B reflects the feeling of grandeur that the beautiful architecture of Budapest demonstrates. It is within walking distance of all attractions and is situated near some fabulous restaurants. Breakfast is plentiful, fresh and delicious. Our room was spacious, immaculately clean and warm. Our host Attila could not be more interesting to talk to nor more helpful when it came to discussing what there is to see. He booked a shuttle bus to the airport and a meal in a restaurant on our behalf. We also had a fascinating discussion about the history of Budapest. I thoroughly recommend this B&B as a quirky, comfortable alternative to run of the mill hotels.

Great hotel

This hotel is a small operation with I think only 5 or 6 rooms. Its situated in an apartment block so you get buzzed in and the hotel is up on the first floor. Very spacious room, good breakfast. Our host was very friendly and helped us with tips for Budapest. Would definitely stay again.

Average hotel

It was disappointing to find out that I could not pay for my stay using my credit card and I had to pay in cash, Travelers should be aware to take cash with them.

Clean & Comfortable Room

The room was clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and polite. This hotel is located close to the Budapest Nyugati Station. If you plan to visit Esztergom by train, this hotel would be perfect. I am very satisfied.

The b&b itself is not bad and is well connected with the city by bus and metro. We found a nice room and beds with clean sheets, although from the outside the building really gives a bad impression. I can say nothing about the breakfast offered during the week in a partner bar, but the one to be consumed in the b&b on Sunday is extremely poor and I do not recommend anyone to pay an extra to have it included in the room rate. We were also told that we would found something to eat on Monday morning, as we had to leave before the usual breakfast time, but this was not the case despite we have paid for the service. Only one towel p/p is provided, there is no daily cleaning and no bathroom products, excluding the soap dispenser.

A home-liked guest house in Budapest

It's really good to stay in this guest home for my 1st time trip in Budapest. The staff is so kind, polite and friendly. They use whatsapp to communicate with me is so helpful and supportive, especially when I messed to how getting in the building 😅. The breakfast is simple but so tasty, I like it. I will recommend my friends to stay there if they visit Budapest in future.

Enkelt men utsökt service!

Ett enkelt men centralt boende, med fantastiskt service. Föreståndaren Majd var service personifierad. Jag behövde någonstans att lämna min stora resväska när jag gjorde en liten utflykt under resans gång- de vaktade den för en liten avgift och var superflexibla när jag skulle hämta den. Verkligen värt pengarna, ett stenkast från en av de stora stationerna.

Wonderfull place

La chambre est spacieuse, propre et en parfait état. Un calme quasi absolue règne dans l'établissement . Vous avez la possibilité de vous servir des boissons chaudes qui réchauffe lors des jours d'hiver. Le quartier dispose de plein de bar et restaurant environnants. Tous était parfait.

Budapest: zeker de moeite van een bezoek waard

Evergreen B&B is prima gelegen, vlak bij metro en groot winkelcentrum. In de buurt ook diverse winkels en restaurants. Met drie metrohaltes ben je in het centrum (Vaci Utca). De stad Pest is een gezellige stad met winkels als Zara, C&A, Bershka, Mango.(Echt iets bijzonders vinden is wat lastiger), heel vriendelijke mensen en ook veel lekker eten, voor een goede prijs. De stad Buda is wat prijziger maar zeker ook de moeite waard van een bezoek.

Very good location, easy to reach by public transport. Nice mall with plenty of stores and food options nearby. Room was modest, but clean. Friendly staff.

Всё очень понравилось. Номер большой, с высокими потолками, поэтому много воздуха. Очень удобные большие широкие кровати. Хорошее белье. Отлично высыпалась. Два удобных кресла. Так приятно расположиться в них после ходьбы по городу. Большой телевизор с кучей программ. Вечером смотрела наш фильм "Нюхач", футбол из России. Туалет, ванная в номере. Очень чисто. Есть кухня со всем необходимым. В любое время можно приготовить. Всегда есть кофе, чай. Через дорогу в кафе завтраки. Милая девушка предлагает меню. Выбираешь. Все довольно вкусно. Хозяйка отеля очень приятная женщина, всегда готова прийти на помощь. Расположение отеля замечательное - самый центр. Поэтому транспортом не пользовалась. С удовольствием остановилась бы еще раз.

Fantastisk sted til prisen. Dejlig værtinde, som allerede dagen før, sørgede for, at man følte sig velkommen i Budapest.

super goede service: we kwamen pas aan om middernacht door onze vlucht maar werden hartelijk ontvangen door de jongen. Alles werd perfect uitgelegd. De vrouw die er werkt is ook zeer aardig en hielp ons meteen met alles dat we vroegen. De kamer was zeer groot en netjes, hygiëne was prima. Hotel is vlak in het centrum geplaatst en ook dicht bij een groot shoppingcenter en bij veel openbaar vervoer wat echt een groot pluspunt is. Over het algemeen een prima hotel met een toplocatie.

there is no 24hr reception, you have to confirm the check in time, unless you'll stuck in front of the door and can't get in. the neighbors flat know the contact number of manager, he may help you if you're in trouble.
