Good room size ,close to all amenities and helpful staff .

This property was excellent every thing was very smooth we enjoyed a clean quiet rooms and the staff was very helpful and professional. The breakfast menus is very healthy and tasty

Very clean and modern. Surprisingly quiet. Charming city view from room at rear of building. Great breakfast and helpful, communicative front desk. Just over road from charming botanical garden.

Our stay was great. Clean, comfortable and modern. Easy walk along main strip with lots of great restaurants. Anderson was lovely!

Our concierge, Anderson was incredible. Extremely helpful and attentive. We had difficulty hooking up with long lost relatives and somehow he was able to facilitate that for us.

Excellent hotel

If you’re looking to stay in Catania for a few days then this hotel is perfect. Located on the main street, it’s a short walk to all the local sights and close to great restaurants and bars. The rooms were immaculately clean to the extent that our clothes were folded or hung for us when we returned to the room and the view from our balcony looked straight up to Mount Etna. Aside from a small fault with the hotel’s card payment machine (note: the chip & pin didn’t work) the service was very good and the staff were generally very polite.

It’s centrally located and very convenient. The staff is super friendly. The only complaint is the restroom, it’s small with no place to put towels and smelly due to the old pipes of the building.

Beds and linens were excellent and housekeeping great! The motion sensor lights were a bit to get used to when arriving at the hotel at night. We had to walk into the dark hallway before they switched on. Other than that, it was conveniently located, reasonably priced and breakfast was pretty good.

I agree with others this is a great property. Clean, modern well appointed rooms, great breakfast and service by Anderson. Do be aware that it’s not a regular hotel with 24 hr reception and check in times are limited. 10am check out is early compared to most other hotels. Very convenient for airport bus and location is good for walking to Duomo.

Loved my stay at Etnea 454. The host was very pleasant, helpful and gracious. The room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. The area was convenient for a nice walk to the centre of town and close to walk to amazing restaurants. I felt safe and secure at all times The breakfast was delicious and plentiful with non-stop coffee. I highly recommend this place when visiting Catania

Angelo was awesome- very helpful and makes a great cappuccino!! Breakfast was lovely/ beautiful rooms- the owners took great care in designing the rooms and property- very modern. Great bathrooms- hotel and rooms super clean- Beds and pillows very comfortable . Good location. Walk out the hotel and turn left and you will reach the Duomo and a lot of great shops on this street. I would absolutely stay here again. The hotel is not 24 hour staffed, it’s a guest house, so you receive a code to get in past a certain hour, but communication is very good- If you are one of the rooms on first floor- you walk thru the breakfast room to find them- 😀 Angelo is very clear with his messages and communication. Lovely man, I enjoyed talking to him.

Sweet boutique hotel just a short walk from the busy area of town. The room was very comfortable, modern and clean. I really appreciated the warm welcome from Anderson at the front desk and all of his information about the town was so helpful. Breakfast was also very nice. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

Rooms were very clean and spacious. I was surprised at how quiet the rooms were considering it’s located on one of the busiest main streets of Catania. Very walkable to Piazza Duomo, shopping and restaurants. Highly recommend and would definitely stay at 454 Catania again!

Beautiful little boutique hotel, very clean room. All amenities included. Anderson was very accommodating and kind. This was our last stop in Sicily and was very impressed. Breakfast was good, big selection with lots of fruit, jams, and breads. Great location too. Lots of shopping and restaurants within a walkable distance. Secured paid parking close by, 20EUR a night. Overall a great stay!

Clean and modern centrally located hotel

Clean and well maintained boutique hotel. It is located along the Main Street of Cantania, and within walking distance to major sights in the city. Mr Anderson was very helpful and reassuring, especially in providing updates on the volcanic eruption which had happened on the day of our arrival.

Adner was very helpful and we couldn’t be more grateful for the hospitality. Close to all the touristy stuff. Very convenient!

Etnea 454 was fantastic. Great location, about 1 km from the old city and very close to good restaurants and Bellini park. Rooms are very clean, modern ans spacious. Great breakfast with fresh squeezed blood orange juice. Highly recommended.

I loved the friendliness of the staff and the security. The breakfast was very Italian and everything tasted good. They choose what they serve wisely. I would stay here again

Fabulous !

Great hotel,located in the Main Street and near to a lot of shops,restaurants and a big market. The room is big,new and very clean. The breakfast is simple but tasty and fresh. The only thing that I can say for the bad side is that there’s a bit noise from the street (cars/motorcycles). I would especially like to mention Rosario, the person who welcomed us, took care of everything and in the best way! A person who knows how to provide high level service!

Comfortable and great location

I went to Catania to celebrate my daughter’s 20th birthday. The hotel was pretty new, rooms are small but comfortable, just enough to go and have a good sleep. The place was very clean and offered great breakfast. He staff was helpful and knowledgable. Great location as well, easy to use public transportation

Good hotel

This hotel was perfect and not expensive! The area was ideal, the breakfast was excellent, the receptionist was extremely helpful. The only problem was that it was difficult to find, and the parking was offsite. Otherwise, modern and clean and convenient!!!

GREAT STAY

Everything was amazing from the first time we walked in until when we left. The room was amazing, the services were great and we loved the staff. They were friendly and helpful in telling us to take the bus instead of the train to Taormina. It was walking distance to several locations and eating areas.

Very clean, very local.

The place is right in the main thoroughfare of Catania. 5mins walk and you are in the thick of things. There are some street noises as a result but nothing that spoiled our sleep. Very clean room, the bathroom was roomy and the shower was a delight after a hot day roaming the streets of Catania. It’s a small hotel with very few rooms. Breakfast was a buffet affair with plenty available. Special mention of Anderson who runs the place, welcoming and friendly. Was respectful of social distancing and always wore a mask. It’s a great place as a base to see the city.

Very impressed with the accommodation and facilities. The owners are also very friendly and happy to help with advice on local attractions and even provided a map :) Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Catania for a short trip

Nice guest house, well located. Check-in Times are very restrictive (3-8) and check out time is too early (10) but they accomodate when possible.

It’s a well organised setup. No complaints in any respect with shutters to block out the light in the room, and good control of the room temperature.

The rooms are renovated and brand bew. The rooms are spacious and very neat and clean. Bed is excellent , wide and comfortable . Pillows are excellent. Bedsheets are very clean and brigjt white. The room is clean and nice, especially bathroom with large doors open to outside balcony. A lot of attention to details from the owner. There is a paid parking in 2 minutes walking distance as well as shops nearby. Breakfast is nice and fresh.

The room was very spacious and super stylish . The careful attention details were outstanding from the Candy next to the nightstand to the delicious and carefully presented fresh backed breakfast. The room were scrupulously clean The taff was the best ! From the host to the cleaning crew . Lovely Boutique Hotel close to everything

What an amazing boutique hotel in central Catania! The rooms were beautiful and modern, wonderful water pressure, rainshower heads, comfy beds. Rooms are large enough for us and our daughter with a separate twin bed. Breakfasts were delicious. The hotel is close to central Catania but just a block or two off the center of the action to ensure it was very quiet and provided for excellent sleeping.

Nice, clean, and hi-tech rooms. Rich breakfast and very friendly personnel. If I happen to go back to Catania I will definitely go back to this hotel.

Location and the cleaniless is the seller for the property

Very friendly staff, reception and breakfast was very good, they went out of the way to make our trip happy! The room was cleaned to a very high standard daily! Great location for the best bars and restaurants and sites of the city! Free parking on street behind hotel.. would definitely recommend!

Pleasant decor and staff. Excellent central location.

The rooms were beautiful, with simple classic design. The bed was wonderfully comfortable, the bathroom sparkling clean and modern. The concierge was extremely amiable and prepared a delicious breakfast buffet for the guests. This hotel is VERY CLOSE to all the sights in Catania, but is away from the bustle of the city center. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT.

Great location very convenient to restaurants and shopping. Updated hotel with many great amenities. Included Breakfast which was good and substantial. Fast WiFi. Only draw back, bed was extremely hard but that’s Europe. Pillows were comfy.

The Host was excellent. The facility was in beautiful brand new condition. And the most personalized everything and made sure that we had contact information for him, even after hours to make sure that everything was ok. Highly recommend.

Colazione variegata e di buona qualità. l'ascensore non è scontato!! fantastico!! sicuramente sarà il nostro punto di riferimento a Catania

Noch gut, aber mit Einschränkungen.

Bei unserer Ankunft um 15.30h ging die Empfangsdame erst einmal einkaufen und wir mussten, etwas erstaunt, warten. Das ist schon sehr unhöflich und verärgert unnötig. Beim wenig ambitionierten Frühstück musste der hinten unablässig erregt telefonierende Service-Mann erst aufgesucht werden, um einen Kaffee zu erhalten. Anders der hervorragende Zimmerservice: sehr gut. Danke. Schönes, wenn auch etwas hellhöriges Zimmer und Bad im 2.Stock. Der Straßenlärm lässt einen nicht allzu lang ruhen. - Bei dieser Gesamtperformance ist der Preis nicht angemessen.

Die Ausstattung der Unterkunft und die Zimmer sind sehr gut. Wir hatten ein Zimmer für 2 Nächte gebucht und sind aber wegen dem lauten Durchgangsverkehr nach einer Nacht abgereist. Die Unterkunft liegt an einer Hauptstraße. Auch bei geschlossenen Fenstern war an Schlaf nicht zu denken.
