Underrated gem in the city It feels like you’re in a resort in Cancun

Such a beautiful place to stay. Parents and kids loved it!

Caitlyn at the front desk went above and beyond to help me find the best room for my needs away from the busy street. The hotel renovated rooms are really worth it and made me feel like I was staying in a beautiful home. The mix of the beautiful paned windows, brick walls, gorgeous tile and marble bathrooms...it all felt like being at my house. Everyone was amazing, the lobby is gorgeous and as well as the pool/atrium area. I can't thank Caitlyn enough for her amazing customer service and quick thinking to help me out. I would absolutely stay again! This is definitely one of the top hotels so close to the airport.

Nice

It was very loud and could not sleep with all the noise from the bar. We did nd not have towels or washcloths in our room. Not worth the amount of money we spent to stay there

This location is always clean and at the top of the end of quality for the price you pay. Its quiet, its nice, it has a bar and a restaurant and is close to shopping and many dining options.

I love this hotel. We’d stayed here several years ago, but its renovations render the place nearly unrecognizable! And its interior scent is fabulous! The restaurant’s food is yummy too. We’ll be back soon.

Was a beautiful property and all the staff were kind, only downside is on the day I arrived they didn't have the room I booked, so for a night I was in a different suite. The day after they relocated me and all was well from there!

As you enter lobby of this iconic hotel, its architecture makes you feel as if you are in a colonial part of Mexico and immediately you have a craving for a margarita. I am glad that the rooms have been remodeled. The staff was great. Also, the free shuttle service to and from the airport is a big plus. I will definitely stay here again on my next visit. Best price for the value.

Room was a little hard to keep cool with it being so close to the outside but the room itself was nice

Cheapest around.... impossible to.get a good pressure for warm shower....too hot or too cold....v.small amount of shampoo....no table/chairs in the room...few TV ch. with no guide...if just in transit the cheaper you can find

Great service

Staff was friendly and as soon as you walk in the front doors it smelled so good. The bed was comfortable and the shower was nice as well. The bartenders were extremely attentive. Will definitely stay here again

The good with the bad

The people were great. However, we got to our car at 5:30 am to go to the airport only to find our window bashed in and my husband’s cell phone hidden in the console was stolen. Security allowed as this has happened before. Not sure it is a safe place to stay even thought the hotel itself was fine

Excellent location, very comfortable hotel!

This is always our go to hotel in San Antonio. Excellent location, service/staff is always wonderful, and great lobby bar that's perfect for meeting friends. You can't go wrong with this hotel- and the room rates are almost always excellent!

The smell of bleach/ chlorine in the lobby and common areas was awful.

Pretty property but they need to focus on the rooms. This is our 2nd stay here. The room stay very hot because theres only one vent. When we entered our room our fridge had leaked all over our floor and inside the cabinet that holds it. The shower was faulty and shot water all over the ceiling and floor. They shut off the jets in the pool that the kids were enjoying just because someone who wasnt even swimming didnt like them. its okay for a day and the price. But not for an extended stay.

Me and my husband have stayed at this location at least ten times on various occasions. This last one made me feel like Estancia de Norte fell short. When we checked in and went up to the room the hallway was extremely warm and the room key didn’t work. We went back down and got it reprogrammed and when we entered the room there was another family already in that room. We then went back down let the clerk know the issue she gave us a different room number but and I had to ASK for compensation for this inconvenience which they had no disagreement about and we got two free drinks for the bar. Slight inconveniences, it's not the end of the world but was a slip up non the less.

Not ok

The room was not as cleaned as it should have been. The hotel was very hot only the room was a bit cooler. I’ve stayed there many times this year and it seems like management needs to step it up.

Wonderful but..

Absolutely loved the hotel. But the beds were awful. So hard. My KIDS even got a back ache from the mattresses. Other than that they were fantastic! Amazing service, clean hotel, wonderful pool. Updated bathrooms, even a text message to check on us and when I texted I needed more towels, I got them in record time! Easy access to many activities & food. Would visit again 100% if they changed out mattresses.

Do NOT Park In Hotel Lot!

We used to love this hotel, service and amenities however, each of our last 2 stays, we had our vehicle broken into. Their parking lot is just not secure and the security guard is ineffective. Avoid and find a hotel with a secure lot.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE & STAY

Treated terrible our whole stay. Room did not get cleaned and no fresh towels. Electrical panel was open, and staff was not helpful.

Our room was warm at night. No microwave in room. Swimming pool too small for the property. My husband and I never got a chance to use the pool.

Don’t spend the money

The lobby was lovely but then you enter our supposedly upgraded room and it was dark and dingy. The rug under the bed was disgusting old and hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. Bathroom had no shampoo or body wash or lotion.

Outdated hotel and dirty. The hotel was not cool, the AC was not cooling.

The Staff good, but the hotel is clean but the installations need remodeling special the mattresses 😆😆, and need more transportation

Overall it was pretty good. The AC was not cooling very well. were in the sun all day and wanted a cool room but it was not.

Even though this hotel is a part of the Hilton system, it definitely stands out. The atmosphere and decor reminds me of the city of San Antonio itself.

Clean and safe

Overall good stay. The lobby elevators were a bit stressing and nerve racking. Every time we would use it the doors would take either too long to open or make a weird noise. On one use the elevator made a loud boom before rising

I can’t remember his name but the gentleman at the front desk went above and beyond!! The courtyard was beautiful and the food was really good! The room was amazing! I very much enjoyed me stay.

My wife and I loved how closed the mall was and all the places we wanted to go were so close! Was an amazing stay

Sweet spot

This hotel is cozy and quaint. However the staff is either overworked or just unprofessional. Did not like the way I and my family were spoke to when asking questions or just trying to navigate the hotel.

Staff was very accommodating- there was an issue with bedding (stains) caused a bit of discomfort- Asked that sheets be changed for the last night of our stay (they were NOT) but l talked to the night clerk and she graciously gave us another room…

Air conditioner wasn’t working very well, only 1 elevator working

Disappointing....the staff was very rude especially Bianca at the front desk, who told me i could not switch rooms cause nothing was available and later the tv in my room went out I let the front desk know and like magic there was availability and they moved us right away. That room unfortunately had food crumbs in the bed. For breakfast I was yelled at(by Monica)because I didn't know the front desk was suppose to give me my breakfast vouchers(which they did not) when I returned to the bar she ignored my family and I and served everyone around us. Such a shame that at a hotel by HILTON would tolerate such TERRIBLE customer service!👎 We were grateful for 1 young lady's hospitality, Makela P. thank you for acknowledging my family and I and for your wonderful customer service skills.

Great Service and Location, long lasting memories

The Hotel is beautiful, and the staff was amazing. The staff helped it to be nights that me and my girlfriend will remember for the rest of our lives. I wanted to specifically thank Caitlyn and Antonio at the front desk as well as Sharon and Melvin, they made sure to answer all my questions and helped ease my anxiety about anything going wrong. A VERY SPECIAL THANK YOU to Antonio the Engineer/Maintenance my truck had died and he helped me to get it jumped before my girlfriend woke up, and it saved us from having a bad day and she never knew. The pool was important for us and was always running during operating hours, and anytime I overheard someone having an issue with a room they were always prompt to take care of them and that was super cool. Just like anywhere things can happen, don't always blame the hotel or staff. Call ahead or go in person and ask if the pool or something else important to you is working and they'll be honest. The location is enough to make this place amazing, but the service puts it over the top. I'll happily book here again, thank y'all so much and God Bless you <3 And she loved the Chocolate covered strawberries THANK YOU. Sidenote, the headboards are solid and the rooms are pretty soundproof do with that what you will.

Antonio was great during checking. Wonderful stay!

Really nice property. Staff was friendly and the amenities were great. Really close to the airport and if you want to shop this is walking distance.

Coming home

We love this place. It is centrally located to access San Antonio. Staff is friendly. We really love Paseo. Bar staff is fantastic and food is delicious.

I reserved a King room and got two queens. The floors were very dirty so that when we took a shower there was black in the tub from our feet. There was no TV remote in our room.

Dirty hallways. Room was dark and musty. AC didn't work well and very noisy.

Pool water was really cold. Also pool was closed Saturday in the evening except for a few hours.

Loved the appearance.

Fiesta vacation

The hotel its self was beautiful and comfortable only two issues my husband and I ate at the restaurant the chicken wings were not cooked properly they were still very bloody & the other issue was that housekeeping came banging on the door right at 10am waking us up we weren’t due to check out until noon

Nice Hotel.

Clean, friendly staff. Quick check in. Big rooms and comfy beds. Service in bar for food is slow. Love the gym, a nice size with everything you need and not crammed in. I always stay here when I am visiting family.

Great Stay

My stay was excellent. The entire staff were friendly and accommodating. My room was clean and other guest were happy and friendly as well. Would definitely recommend to friends to stay here

No Thank You!

My family & I made a reservation for 1 night. My credit card was charged $950! Either staff or someone sitting at the bar/restaurant stole our room number & charged my card for what we thought was a $250.00 stay. The cost for the room was well above what we normally pay. The room a/c never cooled down & the maid knocked on our door twice at 8:00 AM & woke my family up.

We usually stay here when we visit San Antonio, we love it! It’s so nice, clean and staff is so friendly!

The hotel was very nice and very comfortable. We loved the double doors into our room as well as being right on the courtyard. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

This hotel was very nice. I like that it was right across from the North Star mall. Parking was very easy as well.

Ask for an accommodation and it took 6.5 hours to get it done.

Was disappointed that although I reserved a king room I was given a room with two queens.

Behind nightstand where a couple plugs are was filthy with trash and dust in 2 different rooms. Its overpriced and barely slept in 1st room because it was so hot. We will never return to this property.

Deceiving

Very deceiving in terms of booking. I registered for pay at hotel and they charge my car before I even got there. At 5 AM is when they charge my CC the day of. Very disappointing. It’s clear all they care about getting their money. Not about the customer.

The only ly reason we stayed stayed at place was because the website said there was a hot tub. We get there no hot tub. Air conditioning in one room would never get the room cool. Other than that it was pretty ok.

We liked the old feel to this hotel. The shuttle service was great and such a cost saver for getting around the area.

Weekend Stay

Hotel was wonderful, smelled clean and bed were clean and comfortable. Only downside is that there was no outlets near the bed but besides that I enjoyed it would definitely come back.

This hotel is Average at best. Rooms not sound proofed to interior outside patio.

Really nice stay, just upset with the room I was given. I booked a King size bed and when checked in , front desk stated they were sold out and they only had 2 queen beds. I was having a staycation with my husband and that just kinda threw off our plans. But overall place is nice.

This was a boutique style hotel that was gorgeous, clean and offered many amenities. We really enjoyed our stay.

I've really come to love this place. We've been coming at least once a year because it's in an ideal/central area for the things we like to do while we are in town. It was given a substantial face-lift several years ago and it made a world of difference. Extremely clean, wonderful staff, and at a reasonable price. I'd highly recommend it.

There was a strange knock/loud noise with the AC almost hourly. 🙁not so great. But, otherwise a good stay.

Overnight stay

Bed was comfy and room was clean. The decor and staff were both amazing! I’ll definitely book here again!
