Very easy checkin and check out. Got late checkout upon request. The hotel is extremely clean - they don´t have carpets which in my book is a big plus. Nice service also and good location.

Seminar in Budapest

Very good stay with much kindness of the team, I recommand the grand hôtel Savoy, very near from all public transportations. Breakfeast is marvellous, perhaps a little bit expensive but excellent.

Excellent Hotel in Budapest

Excellent and cosy hotel with good facilties and service. The hotel is placed very central in Budapest near to all important sightseeing spots.

Amazing stay in a modern, clean room and common areas. Easy access to most tourist attractions. Good quality breakfast. Quick check in and check out by friendly staff. Recommended.

We really appreciated staff changing our room from 214 - where there was a constant smell of sewers - to 530, higher up. We also appreciate all staff at reception desk who were very polite and did everything to help us with everything we needed. We are very unhappy with the cleaning staff who regularly (?!!) forgot to take dirty cups and regularly (?!!?) forgot to replace with clean cups. This had meant we had to keep asking reception desk for these missing items because the cleaning staff were not competent and trained well enough to do their job properly، particularly when the same mistake happens more than once. There has to be a supervisor running regular checks to avoid this but such inconveniences are important enough for customers not to return to the same hotel ! The cleaning staff also didn't vacuum the room, everyday we were coming back to dust and hair in all corners. The floor were mopped but that was causing all the dust and hair to pile up and stick to surfaces. Why is it so hard to vacuum before mopping up the floors. We liked the TV size, newness and modern furniture , the restaurant was very clean, the air con/ heating system worked both ways which was efficient. The mattress in room 214 is out of shape and uncomfortably soft, it gave us real backache and we're young and fit ! Can't imagine what sort of back pain it will cause for older clients. Good selection of pillows !

Savoye hotel stay Budapest

The stay was good. Very friendly, clean and helpful staff. The only issue is parking. The hotel should supply wallet parking due to the location. The parking garage was recommended but as a foreign tourist driving to the garage was very difficult. Would not mind to pay for that feature.

Location great, near 2 metro lines. Walking distance to a lot of areas. Hotel very clean with welcoming staff. Breakfast good. Would recommend to stay here. We have been very pleased with all aspects of this stay.

Spent 10 days at EST Grand Savoy Hotel. Beautiful experience. Very helpful, friendly and professional staff. Front desk personnel were always welcoming and helpful, from booking taxis, to making restaurant reservations. All queries were addressed with efficiency. Breakfast was a special feature with great variety in choices and very well presented. The ladies at breakfast were very polite and paid attention to detail, always ensuring that there was a constant supply on the menu and that used items were removed from the dining tables. They gave an excellent service. Room was serviced daily without exception. Special thanks to Monika at the front desk, who was always willing to go the extra mile -informed us about the Budapest Go App for getting around easily and also had a room issue rectified effectively. Special thanks also to Robert, who we met at the rooftop bar. He was very welcoming and treated us with dignity and respect. He also shared information about Budapest and recommended places of interest to visit, which was very helpful. We did visit the 100 year old Hungarian restaurant and was not disappointed. I would highly recommend this property, it is centrally located with close access to the metro, trams and busses. I’ll be happy to stay here again!

Great hotel, Great Service.

Went on a budget holiday to Budapest, found this hotel and was amazed at what you get for the price, someone kindly left their prime logged into the huge TV’s in the room, bathroom has a wonderful and updated look to it. Beds were comfy and soft however air conditioning in the room wasn’t too powerful and in the heat it had been while staying there being stuffy at night wasn’t always the most comfortable to start with.

A great hotel.

A great hotel. Clean, modern, tidy, well kept, comfortable. Decent size bedroom, good shower, comfortable bed, good air conditioning. Breakfast was plentiful and there was lots of choice too. It was my partner’s birthday and the hotel left a bottle of complimentary sparkling wine in the room, which was a lovely touch.

Outstanding, great and excellent hotel. Great rooftop bar with beautiful views of the city!!!

Wonderful stay!

Great stay! The staff, amenities, breakfast buffet were all top-notch. The location was convenient as well. Would highly recommend!

The location where it is easily assessible by different transportation types, while the hotel itself is newly renovated with TV access of Netflex, YouTube etc. The only issue that we had was with noise created by room next door, which was not controllable by hotel itself but may be a result of under par noise insulation between hotel rooms.

We were upgraded but to the front rooms facing the road. It was noisy with the traffic. If u had known I would have stayed in the back rooms. Unfortunately they only offer feather down pillows which I’m allergic to. I did request a foam pillow but reception never got back to me on my request. Breakfast was great and housekeeping staff did an amazing job everyday.

Clematis hotel with very Good beds The location is ok

Lovely clean hotel that smelt really nice. Bottle water in the room would have been nice. And didn’t like the fact the window was locked so we could not open it ! Staff were very polite and friendly and hotel was great for all sights and public transport

Well located. Could walk to most ‘must see places’ in the city. Nice little micro-brewery next door.

Hotel Savoy was very centrally located more than I expected. Metro, above and below ground were merely a couple of minutes away.

Renovated rooms, designed with fine taste, great room arrangement, there is space for every thing needed and it feel spacious enough. Good aircondition and blackout curtains. Nearby 2 diferent metro lines tram n 4 &6 so it is very convenient to reach everywhere. Friendly and helpull Staff

The property and staff were great, the neighborhood was very dirty. Tram stop very close by. We found the tram system very easy to use to travel to all of Budapest’s best sites. Don’t let the neighborhood dissuade you from staying here.

Had a wonderful stay. Location great. Service great. Lovely fresh daily breakfasts. Enjoyed the rooftop bar and the late night bar and excellent mixologist. Breakfast staff very attentive and check in really easy! Thank you.. will definitely recommend

Friendly, Clean & Convenient

Had a lovely stay at EST Grand Savoy. My room was very clean and quiet, as well as tastefully furnished. Bonus points for the hardwood floor. As a solo traveler, I felt entirely safe. The staff was very helpful and welcoming, and the gym adequate for a quick workout. Lastly, the location was very convenient for walking all over Pest (and, for a longer walk, Buda).

Lovely, modern comfortable hotel, well located for the Pest side lively area. Staff friendly and helpful. Only downside the air con, didn’t work effectively.

Lovely hotel at a very convenient location. Walking distances to many of Budapest attractions, bars and restaurants. The rooms are spacious and modern. Very clean. Loved the rooftop space even though the bar was not open you can still use the terrace to enjoy the skyline We had fantastic 4 nights stay.

Good facilities

Everything was perfect so went I went back to Budapest I stayed there again!

The hotel was lovely and clean and the staff was extremely helpful.

Room felt a little small but was okay for this trip as we were only in the room for sleeping.

A comfortable and clean hotel with a very convenient location, most things seem to be around a 20min walk. We were a bit disappointed to hear that the sky bar was not open during our stay.

Could Not Sleep On It.

Front Desk - At check-in: Friendly, quick check in (early, too - thank you.). Room Condition - The design & furniture in bedroom part of the room was wonderful. The only problem is that the climate control (even though there are controls in the room) were not up to the guests. The room was roasting. I tried using the AC or fan and was told it was shut off. We had the window open & system off for two days in the middle of winter & we were sweating. There were no lighter blankets available. No one could not help with the issue even when asked. Bathroom had orange & yellowed grout lines - it needed a good washing. Service - Housekeeping turns over the rooms very quickly & efficiently. But, it be perhaps because they are not washing the floors in the bathrooms. The minibar service agent walked into the room without knocking while we were in the room - that was awkward. Bar in the lobby is expensive. Not much empathy on the room temp. Breakfast - AMAZING. High quality. Better than any I have had in traveling. This was 5 star & worth the cost. Location - wonderful. Close to Metro lines, tram lines, & great restaurants and stores nearby. Overall: This hotel has what it takes to be amazing. There are some corners being cut in housekeeping & the climate control areas that keep it from being just out of this world. Sleep is the most essential service a hotel can offer & the temperature was just not comfortable; there was no way to remedy it. I didn't sleep well; my only problem.

A great stay for Christmas

We really enjoyed our stay and it was a great spot to spend Christmas. When we first checked in, we were not satisfied with our room and the front desk worker was quick and super helpful to change our room. We even got an upgrade to a better room. In addition, the hotel is near the metro and various restaurants which was nice since it rained quite a bit. We were also near Spar. The only problem we had was that the air conditioner wouldn’t blow out heat which made the room very cold. The front desk workers were sympathetic of this and since they were unable to fix the problem, then they gave us complimentary drink passes for the bar.

Our room had a sewage smell and was clearly next to a septic tank of some sort because we could hear continuous flushing. We complained on two different occasions and days as we were there for 3 days, and the best they could do was go spray room perfume. Very disappointing experience. Other than that the hotel was nice, area was a bit sketchy, although close to the metro.

Nice clean rooms, powerful shower but that's it. Breakfast - below average for the price. Staff - other than people at reception we were really appalled by the service. Housekeeping team have not even bothered to wash my cup of tea or replace the the tea/sugar I used. Asked to change duvet, returned to the same one in the evening. Left some honey in the room for my evening tea, it was REMOVED by the cleaner along with black tea I left, and replaced with green tea. Speechless.

Will be recommending to friends.

Cannot recommend the EST Grand Hotel Savoy enough. Friendly staff, quick check in, clear information and suited all our needs on our trip. Super clean rooms with plenty of space for all the time we were in them but has no issues at all. Great location in the centre of Budapest which we wanted and right next to all transport if you would like to go further out of the city.

Great location and facilities. Lent me a charger cable as I forgot mine. Room, bathroom, breakfast buffet etc great. Hot walk in powerful shower. Generally great. Some staff could smile a bit more - but generally were very helpful.

Brilliant attentive staff, clean lobby, easy check in and out. Staff provided everything we asked for with great local knowledge. Rooms immaculately clean with a daily service, nothing but high praise for this hotel.

Nice hotel, away from the busiest part of downtown, but also farther away from restaurants and attractions. Clean rooms and helpful staff. The sauna is nice, but not hot enough - you need to give the front desk advanced notice that you want to use it so they can turn it on.

The staff were awesome! Check-in went smoothly. All were willing to help with recommendations for artisan shops to visit, and activities to do while in Budapest. All were friendly and very welcoming.

Excellent hotel, great location, friendly staff. Well maintained, clean, comfy bed and great bathroom. Would certainly stay here again if we come back to Budapest. Windows block pretty much all noise from the outside and no sound from other rooms. Fantastic for public transport connections.

We appreciated the comfortable room and bath furnishings, the breakfast choices, cleanliness, wellness center, rooftop bar, and friendly and accomodating staff.

Property was very clean and the people at reception were excellent. Room was very clean and comfortable. Its very close to transportation. Enjoyed my 5 night stay very. I am not sure though why you have to ask the front desk to replenish the coffee. Its seem as if though you are only allowed 2 per day.

Beautifully decorated both inside and outside. Our room was spacious. It’s a very inviting hotel which is very mature (we were a 26yo couple and felt this was tailored to an older audience). The hotel lobby smelt Devine and really allows you to unwind and relax and staff very attentive. The pillows could be updated as they were super soft and didn’t provide a lot of support. Breakfast was very good quality however not a lot of options if you are veggie (they have fresh fruit, pastries, cakes, scrambled eggs which were AMAZING). We had someone in the room above us that was walking around quite a bit which we could hear in our room but that’s the only criticism. In a great location with the Tram right outside which takes you to the river area and direct to the thermal bath/zoo.

Great location and very accessible tourist hotspots from the metro which is a few minutes walk away! The hotel is new, clean, modern and has a beautiful rooftop bar!

Dejligt hotel og hotellet ligger fint. God,morgenmad. Dog blev eg god oplevelse ved ankomst spoleret ved afrejse. Vi blev modtaget af en meget hjælpsom dame ved indtjek. Parkering var hun behjælpelig med og hun gav os et gratis døgn i nærliggende p hus.( dette hørte vi begge to,hun sagde var gratis) Ved udtjek ville en meget arrogant herre i receptionen ikke kendes ved den gratis parkering og vi blev faktureret for den! Det var meget utilfredsstillende og en træls måde at skulle fra hotellet på da det gav lidt diskussion. Det er ikke beløbet for parkering men når det bliver lovet gratis så må vi forholde os til det. Så det var ikke til UG !!

Beautiful hotel with friendly and welcoming staff, incredibly clean and lovely rooms. Bed was super comfy and room & bathroom were spotless! Everything was perfect. In such a great location too - a short walk/metro journey away from the airport shuttle bus stop and so easy to get to everything in Budapest
