Absolutely amazing staff-a real credit to the hotel. They couldn't have been more helpful or polite, especially in a hotel full of demanding football fans.

Highly recommend for anyone who has a loved one staying at the ATOS Orthoparc Klinik. Essential by Dorint Köln is a 7 minute WALK to the hospital. This made daily visits possible as the commute from where we live would be an hour each way. The staff were friendly and helpful (provided a loaner power strip when we realized one was needed to charge the laptop). The rooms were comfortable, business style, with a good wall mounted TV. The hotel has a restaurant with tasty meals, has on-site parking, AND is dog-friendly!

The room installation was very simple. The on matrass was week and used. But the service and the people were very friendly.

Stewed here for one night. Close to Rheinenegy stadion which was perfect to watch Pink! No Ned for trams which were packed before and after! Staff were friendly and hotel was immaculate. Bathroom a little dated but clean and functional.

Quiet, clean, with parking, near metro stop

We stayed over NYE and it was quiet and clean. There’s no coffee pot or conditioner, but it’s got soap, towels, a bed, and is quiet, so it’s really what we needed. The people are nice and I’d stay again since it’s conveniently located 1/2 block from a metro stop. Parking was €19/day with in/out under the building- be sure you tell the desk so they can set up your parking ticket correctly for the in/out part.

Quiet, mid-sized hotel in Cologne

Despite being located on a major traffic artery in Cologne, the hotel and rooms are remarkably quiet, a tribute to German window and door technology. The location is perfect for the use of public transportation: trams, buses, and commuter rail lines are all close by . The breakfast buffet is outstanding and serves hot as well as cold items, and typically German breakfast fare. A coffee maker in the my economy-priced room would have been a great addition. This hotel is perfect for the leisure traveler and also for the business traveler who does not have to be in the downtown financial district.

Ok for overnighting

The hotel is clean and the staff is friendly and appear well trained. However the rooms are very basic in appearance and facilities. The location is quite far from Downtown but close to strassebahn and there is a large shopping mall 2 starions further out in Weiden. Expect 30-40 mins to travel to HBF or Köln/Messe.

Pleasent and Friendly

Stay was very pleasant; Spoke English and very friendly. Only 2 small issues that was of concern, 1st. there was no refrigerator in the room and 2nd they had no ice machine. I am sorry to say that people like me from the US like cold refreshments and a refrigerator in the room. The staff was very helpful and did provide ice upon request but it would have been better if there was a ice machine or refrigerator to keep bottle water and soda cold, otherwise hotel was excellent.

This is a very basic hotel. The room is small, and very basic. No creature comforts at all. But it was very clean. The breakfast was OK. The staff are friendly.

Perfect for a business trip. Clean and neat stay. Friendly and professional stay.

Exceptional staff. Checked in very late at night and guy was very helpful. I would stay here again. Only gripe is underground parking lot is very tight so be warned if you have a large vehicle. The scrapes along the sides of the walls says it all.

This hotel is easy to find and has some good prices (unless events are happening on cologne) it is 100 metres from the autobahn so very accessible but quiet inside. The staff are friendly and the Breakfast is good.

Business hotel, OK but missing basic amenities

Clean hotel, good-sized room, reasonably comfortable bed, great location (for my purposes). However, it was missing some really basic things that I would expect of any modern business hotel, specifically: - No iron or ironing board - Ridiculously complicated system for logging on to the wireless, with 'tokens' that kept expiring (and they seemed surprised that I had more than one device I wanted to connect .... hello, this is 2014) - The smallest closet I have ever seen - No bureau - so I had no drawers for my socks and t-shirts, I had to live out of my suitcase, which I hate - No fridge where I could cool a bottle of wine - I wanted to print a couple of pages for a meeting, but when I went to their business centre to use their computer and printer, it was so slow I never did manage to even log on to their computer (which was running Windows XP - a 15 year old operating system). Maybe they could spend a couple of hundred Euros and get a new computer?? Not having these little things was inconvenient and just seemed kind of dumb. They are not expensive items.

Location: in suburb, streetcar to city is a 20 minute ride, Hotel is next to a busy road with some gas stations nearby, The immediate vicinity is not very attractive. A shopping center is in one direction, some park/forest in the other, each ten minutes walking distance away, Room was ok, Except one young gentleman at the front desk, the rest of the staff could use more training, they were not very responsive.

excellent location for the money

We stayed at this hotel while in Cologne for my nephew's wedding. It is whithin walking distance from the catering place and also from the tram station.We liked the cleanliness of the rooms but especially the quality and variety of the breakfast menu.Highly recommend it.

Das Personal ist reichlich und freundlich! Das Frühstück ist für den Preis in Ordnung, aber nichts besonderes. Die Zimmer sind zweckmäßig.Das Bad ist veraltet und teilweise schmutzig! Für eine Nacht in Ordnung.

Zimmer wäre gut gewesen wenn es nicht so kalt gewesen wäre und man eine Heizung einstellen könnte. Frühstück ist ok. Parken ist ganz schön teuer.

Nice hotel in the area of the Neustad (by U-Bahn). The hotel bar is closed, so nothing to do in the evening, At Hotels.com it says it's open, but it isn't. Also parking is not € 25 a day but an expensive € 28 for a day. Room was OK, but the other things dissapointing.

Habe das Hotel für eine Nacht mit meiner Frau gebucht,da wir etwas von der Stadt sehen wollten.Das Hotel hat gute Lage, Anbindung direkt an die Straßenbahn,20 min und man ist in Stadtzentrum.Die Anlage ist sehr schön,das Zimmer Tip top sauber,das Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit,die Sanitäranlage ist auch sehr sauber,das Frühstück ausgewogen, vielfältig und richtig lecker.Wenn wir das nächste Mal Köln besuchen,werden wir das Hotel wieder in Anspruch nehmen,kann ich nur weiterempfehlen.

Das Parkhaus ist mit dem Hotel verbunden und man kann direkt aus dem Parkhaus mit dem Aufzug zur Rezeption. Die Gebühren von 25€/Nacht sind allerdings sehr hoch wenn man bedenkt, dass wir keine 12 Stunden Aufenthalt hatten.

Guter Service

Die Zimmer sind in Ordnung - halt "essential", aber alles, was man braucht. Das Bad hätte allerdings eine Renovierung nötig. Positiv hervorzuheben ist das sehr freundliche Personal. Grenzwertig ist das extrem enge Parkhaus - die Stellplätze sind die eine Sache, aber die Auf- und Abfahrt das andere. Da dürfte der ein oder andere KfZ-Lackierer sich schon drüber gefreut haben...

Hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt, zwei kleinere Probleme wurden sofort behoben und eine kleine Entschädigung wurde ebenfalls direkt angeboten. Lage ist gut, vorallem für die Öffis.

Unfreundlicher Service mit überheblichem und belehrendem Personal. Es wird wie folgt geworben: Parkplätze ohne Service auf dem Unterkunftsgelände (19.00 EUR pro Tag; als Pauschalgebühr berechnet) Auf dem Unterkunftsgelände gibt es rollstuhlgeeignete Parkplätze Vorhanden ist ein Parkhaus mit Einfahrtshöhe 1,9m, somit ungeeignet für alle Fahrzeuge ausser flachen Pkw. Auf die Frage nach einem Parkplatz wurde man auf eine Möglichkeit 20 Gehminuten entfernt verwiesen. Die Klimaanlage im Zimmer war defekt und das Fenster konnte man aufgrund der Lage direkt an der Hauptstrasse nicht öffnen.

O hotel é novo, o quarto confortável, ambiente do hotel é bastante acolhedor, staff eficiente .Está localizado numa área residencial , possui dois supermercados próximos ,um shopping center e alguns restaurantes bons , especialmente o La Tasca especializado em culinária Portuguesa. A região onde o hotel se localiza é um pouco afastada do centro, sendo necessário a utilização de um tram e metrô para acessar o centro histórico e a estação de trem.

Verkehrsgünstig gelegen (Autobahn) - tolles und freundliches Personal- tolles Frühstück. Zimmer direkt an der Straße- Geruch im Zimmer war nicht überragend (ehemals wahrscheinlich Raucherzimner) - Tiefgarage für einen normalen SUV nur sehr schwierig zu benutzen (Sehr eng)

Hotel ist in Ordnung

Badezimmer leider ohne Heizung, Zimmer hat eine Wärmelampe die man für 15 Minuten einschalten kann. Leider sind die Bodenfließen natürlich dadurch richtig unangenehm kalt. Dame beim Frühstück war extrem freundlich, machte einen tollen Job.

Nur Durchschnitt!

Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen und schnell eingecheckt. Auch das Restaurantpersonal war sehr freundlich. Leider war unser Businesszimmer als solches nicht zu gebrauchen. Es fehlte an Steckdosen und die, die da waren, waren weit vom Schreibtisch entfernt. Die Sofas waren unbequem, durchgesessen und eigentlich Schlafsofas. Kaffee und Milchpulver wurden erst am dritten von vier Tagen wieder aufgefüllt. Das Reinigungsteam hat an Tag zwei vergessen die Handtücher nachzulegen.

Das Hotel sieht von außen neu aus aber es kommt langsam die Zeit eine kleine Renovierung durchzuführen (Rezeption, Flur, Hotelzimmer). Parkgelegenheiten sind vorhanden (Parkhaus draußen neben Straße). Ist Okay

Det ligger tæt på motorvej, fin morgenmad. Service i orden. Havde dog på forhånd ringet og spurgt til parkeringsplads da vi har en stor trailer med. Der var bare ingen udendørs p. Men vi fik lov at holde foran hotellet, når det kun var en enkelt nat. Sengene meget hårde. Samlet fint.

Wir buchen das Hotel seit Jahren für familiären Weihnachtsbesuch und sind grundsätzlich zufrieden. Nicht gefallen hat uns diesmal aber der vollständige Verzicht auf die tägliche Reinigung. Zumindest Papierkorb und Behälter im Bad sollten täglich geleert werden.

Services und Personal echt top betten super bequem alles sauber. Das einzigste was nicht so toll war, leider keinen gleiterschrank auf dem Zimmer. Das minibar extra kostet ist ja logisch, aber hatte leider keine auf dem Zimmer und hätte schon gern das ein oder andere mal kalt gestellt. Vor allem da in der aktuellen Situation Restaurant nicht immer offen war. Kann man aber bestimmt beim nächsten mal erwähnen, dass man das gerne hätte.

Das Zimmer war ziemlich klein, aber schallisoliert, sodaß man von der viel befahrenen Straße nichts hörte. Schade nur, daß die Bar nur von Donnerstag-Samstag geöffnet hatte.
