Ocean oasis

Our stay here was wonderful. The food was so good. The service was amazing, especially Paula and Isabel. They answered our many questions, took care to make sure we had food when we were out early in the morning and gave us great reccomendations. This place is so beautiful.I would highly recommend it

Great place to stay on the ocean

This place is so nice. The rooms were perfect, with tropical feel, the food was great and the staff were always there to assist with a smile.

I didn't get a welcome drink and the shampoo and conditioner were not the greatest quality. However, the hotel grounds were absolutely beautiful. The room was lovely and very clean. The staff were very welcoming and eager to assist.

Amazing boutique property, lovely beach location. Restaurant onsite has great food. All the staff from the bellboys,valets, waiters were incredible, super friendly and helpful and would remember all our names. Isabel on the front desk was great with us and made us feel at home.

My stay at Encantada Tulum was more than excellent. The room was clean and comfortable, the soaps/shampoo smelled amazing! And the food/beach amenities were perfect. Would highly recommend, especially if someone is looking for a peaceful vacation.

The service at Encantada was excellent. We had an amazing time and I would definately recommend this hotel. Food was great, very easy to walk to get dining options. Transportation was a bit pricey and drinks. But excellent service

Amazing property and staff

Nice and Quiet

From check in, to the friendly and helpful staff & concierges that always go above and beyond. I can’t recommend this beautiful property enough! It’s an 8 room property and private beach. The rooms have their own hammock outside (which I stayed in for hours), and the decor is serene and conducive to an amazing experience. I can’t wait to return and bring all my girl friends!

Everything about this property is fantastic. You could not ask for anything more. The staff is unbelievable. They make your dreams come true.

The service is impeccable, the property is located in a private area on the beach, and the rooms are beautifully designed to give you a tropical paradise experience. The staff and concierge will go above and beyond to accommodate your wants and needs and will address any issues immediately. The breakfast, lunch, and dinner menu is delicious and made with healthy and fresh ingredients. There are only 8 rooms, so the hotel is very private and intimate. Perfect for couples, if you’re traveling alone, or with one other person. The staff makes an effort to get to know every guest by name and even remember your preferences and trip itinerary. I will definitely come back to stay here or at the other properties under the same management if I’m in Tulum.

I chose this place for a honeymoon as it promised a peaceful stay no TVs, etc. It was the WORST experience ever! Ruined my honeymoon, nonstop, loud music, and from sunrise till sunset, construction work next-door to the room you could hear saws drills, or hammering the entire day long. It should be noted on their website. This is going on so that people can choose whether or not to stay there had I known this I would’ve not had my honeymoon here, and cried myself to sleep three nights in a row. I would love to come and stay at the facility again assuming the construction is done, but because it was never relayed to us this is going on it RUINED our honeymoon. We have videos showing just how close the workers are, and how loud they are, and due to the fact, there was no TVs in the room because it was supposed to be a peaceful stay. We couldn’t even turn on the TV to drown out the noise. We went back-and-forth with the property about making it right in our opinion as they were deceptive by not sharing the construction nuisance next-door. bottom line is so far in my opinion they only care about the dollar because they have not tried to make it right with us. Thus I will leave my review so no other couples have to endure this nightmare. If and when they decide to make it right with us, I will gladly take my review down, but it should be noted for future guests that there was construction happening there. They had it in their power to inform the customer, but they chose not to

The staff was AMAZING!! Great location and walkable to great dining. We took a advantage of the free bikes to get around. It was like the experience at a 5 star hotel!! Will come back again!!

Amazing!

Our stay was absolutely amazing. We were on our honeymoon and it could not have been more special. The rooms are so lovely and spacious and well designed. There is a lovely little area outside to enjoy drinks in the evening or your breakfast in the morning. The complimentary breakfast is fantastic. You are able to also use the pool of their sister hotel just across thé street. It is a few minute walk from lots of restaurants and bars you can walk to or even borrow a bike from the reception. We borrowed a bike every evening. They kept the beach very clean and removed the seaweed. The whole hotel is on the beach. Nothing like waking up in the morning and walking to breakfast with no shoes in soft sand.

Encantada is Heaven!

Absolutely wonderful place to stay. The staff is so friendly and helpful in every way. The rooms are beautiful and smell so good! Food is great, drinks are great, and the beach is right there!

We cannot say enough about @encantadatulum not do pictures or videos do the property, staff and feel any justice. This boutique hotel is simply amazing! Not only does it feel like it is carved within a beach front piece of the jungle it is truly spectacular. It has only 8 rooms so no matter if fully sold out you feel like you have the whole place to yourself. You never really stumble over other guest. The rooms are beautiful, well maintained, not 1 detail is missed and truly enjoyable. The staff is great and the high level of service they provide is the best I have EVER experienced. Every single staff member knew us by name and provide service with warmth, care and a smile. They always were at the ready to jump at any request or opportunity to make our stay better. Constantly checked on us to ensure we were comfortable and did not need anything. They always had our room clean and turned over with fresh towels to the point that we even asked how they knew precisely when we would be out and the room available! Each night they always left us a treat and we loved coming back in the evening to see what was waiting for us. The food at the property was delicious. The complimentary breakfast was not your usual continental but freshly made to order. The lunch menu (the various items we tried) always flavorful with very generous servings. Our Tulum home

Our trip was amazing from the moment we step in Encantada we were shown around and the place is beautiful peaceful our villa was amazing the only thing in the garden area there is construction going on in the next resort and it can get pretty loud but the staff and the resort make up for it there amazing. We used whatsup and it was great they answer very quickly. We also stayed with Radhoo there sister resort and they organized everything for us taking our bags and getting our room ready while we enjoyed the day. Food was great and drinks as well. We even helped baby turtles to the beach amazing! Just perfect stay will be back!!! Thank you Encantada!

Loved the privacy and that there are only 8 guest rooms. My room was stunning and eco-friendly. The resort felt safe and the ocean views and surrounding landscape/trees were spectacular. Felt very calm and peaceful which is what I needed. Oscar, at the front desk, was the perfect host. Finally, the food was exceptional and I enjoyed breakfast every day.

We love this place! One of our favs

This is a first class boutique hotel (8 rooms) that is very well run by the manager Juan Pablo (JP). The rooms are spacious, super clean and very well maintained. The well trained and friendly staff (too many to mention individually) provides caring, attentive, and personalized service. The front desk staff (Oscar, Becky, Christopher) is extremely helpful and quick to schedule activities or accommodate special wishes, such as organizing a birthday cake. The kitchen staff provides excellent food selections and is more than willing to create something that is not on the menu. The whole premises provide a feeling of “living in nature”, culminating in the gorgeous beach with lovely cabanas. From the moment we entered through the triangular front structure, we were truly enchanted and transformed. A wonderful place to reconnect with nature, recharge and let the soul rejuvenate.

Untouchable in Tulum

Absolutely perfect!! Great location on the beach, wonderful friendly people who attended to my every need with big smiles, and excellent accommodations (clean, comfortable and private suite. Don't look anywhere else; this is the only place to stay in Tulum!

Great area, quiet, and amazing staff, service and food.

We stayed at Encatada for 5 days and our stay was perfect! The hotel is calm and quiet. Perfect for relaxation. Our room was clean, big, and the bed was comfortable. The room is cleaned twice a day. Our trip was during the humid summer and we were so greatful to stay at a hotel with AC. The beach at the hotel is clean and due to them only having 8 rooms there were moments when myself & my fiancé had it to ourselves. Also we were very lucky that during our stay in June there was no issues with seaweed. But what makes this hotel amazing is the staff. Every single staff member there was attentive, caring, and friendly. We plan to stay here again in our next trip.

Beautiful secluded property. Perfect for getting away from the world. The entire site is on the sand. So, when step from your beautiful room, you’ll be walking on the fluffy sand of the Caribbean Sea. Truly amazing room and property.

Magical

Overall everything was amazing from start to finish. We arrived at the airport in Cancun & they had a private driver waiting for us with our names on a sign.. so easy & honestly pretty affordable ($280 round trip total for 2 of us). The hotel is in a great area of tulum.. not in a main crazy party area but close enough if you want to partake (5-10min walking). The main Tulum road could seem a bit rundown in some areas, especially with so many pot holes and new construction going on but the second you arrive at Encantada, it’s like you’re transported. The entire hotel is made up of 4 bungalows (2 levels). All just 10 steps from the private beach. We stayed in one of the bungalows closest to the front desk, bottom floor (called: Flores). Was not noisy, so peaceful and quite. Well maintained, so clean. The maintenance crew is there all day.. brushing the sand, clipping the palms, clearing the beach of the seaweed, making sure everything is pristine. The rooms are a great size, bed is so comfy, good pillows, hammock on the front porch with 2 chairs & a table. The service is impeccable. Everyone knows your name, what you want & need before you even think. Breakfast is included & delicious. Stayed 5 nights & got to try the whole menu. All of the food was great..breakfast included, you get a fresh pressed juice, coffee (any style), granola & yogurt, fruit bowl & a main dish (eggs, French toast, whatever). Pool at sister hotel Radhoo next door. We walked everywhere. It was magical.

great staff

Our stay at Encantada was fabulous. Andrea Nava and Becky greeted us by our names and always made us feel very important. Ivan Garcia was very helpful and was always on top of every request we had. He even went out of his way when he realized that we had to wait too long for a food order and offered us a discount at one of the sister restaurants. We never mentioned to him the long wait, he must overheard a comment. We thank him and appreciate his professionalism.

This was the most spectacular boutique hotel. The room was beautiful and very clean. Every single staff member was attentive , kind and with big smiles. The food on the premises was delicious. Will dream of the fish tacos for long time ! This was the best experience and highly recommend this hotel.

Charming nest by the beach

Lovely small hotel by the beach with very personal and friendly service. Owners also have two other hotels and 2 restaurants nearby that seemed to be in the same style. Given the seaweed on the beach at this season, they arranged the access to the pool of their other hotel. Overall can highly recommend this hotel.

We had a wonderful stay at Encantada. This is a small eco friendly boutique hotel at the southern end of the "strip". It is a collection of small "houses" right on the beach, each house with two "rooms" - one taking up the ground floor and the second room above. They are immaculate and really fit in with the Tulum aesthetic. All rooms are a few feet away from the beach and are designed to be simple and relax. They did not have any TVs, etc but we didn't miss that stuff at all. There is no cell phone reception but the hotel had great WiFi throughout the hotel. We communicated with the staff via WhatsApp and they were super helpful in getting us reservations, our return COVID tests, etc. Encantada was a beautiful and peaceful oasis and was so nice to come back to after the beach clubs, loud but fun restaurants, etc. Would definitely stay here again!

Everything at Encantada was perfect. All beyond 5 star.

Great place at the end of the hotel zone. Location is ideal because you can walk to everything, but when you enter the Encantada, it is super quiet and private. Only bad part was all the seaweed on the beach (which is everywhere in June I guess)....Fantastic place, and would return for sure

La Encantada was a perfect boutique hotel that provided excellent service, a very comfortable room, the location was perfect in regards to being quiet yet accessible to all the other beach clubs and resorts, and the access to the sister properties for additional amenities was very nice. The staff goes above and beyond to make your stay as comfortable as possible by assisting with reservations, recommendations, etc... We were very happy with our stay.

Great Stay!

Encantada is an amazing place to stay. The only downside is that there is some sort of club close by that plays loud music day and night.

Best in Tulum

I’ve stayed at many hotels in Tulum but this is my favorite. Comfortable beds, attentive/helpful staff and great food! As in typical Tulum fashion, you can barely tell where the jungle ends in the hotel begins. Encantada is further down the main road, past the party/loud area but it’s a close enough walk to get there if that’s your thing. Itzik restaurant across the street was very good.

this place is heaven

total heaven. its a very small hotel, but the rooms are gorgeous and the beach is the perfect beach. you send whatsapp for everything you need which is very handy when you want to relax on the beach!! The food is also so fresh and delicious and healthy (which is hard to find on the beach in tulum). Tulum beach town itself is kind of awful, so this place is a safe haven from the chaos and scams.

A little paradise in the jungle
