Lovely room, great breakfast, easy check in, friendly staff. Overall, a very nice stay.

The only problem was the old couch was not comfortable to set on needs replacement. So other amenities were excellent.

My experience

When i got there it was very late due to construction on 35 waiting for almost 3 to 4 hours so once i got to the desk a man named Juan helped me and my family change rooms because i was told we were getting two queen beds and one pull out couch well that was not the case juan said that this hotel only has doubles and he asked who i booked with also once we get to the room it was extremely small and the pull out couch was diry so i went downstairs and asked juan could we do something out it he said yes but i only have a king with a couch for tonight then tomorrow i can get you a better room so the next day went back downstairs asked another person did they get the information about our room from juan he said yes and our room was changed again which this time i was very happy i just wish this was done in the beginning but overall not bad just need more space for bigger family and maybe change the mattress in the pullout its old and dirty need something more firm to sleep on.

The girl that works the front desk and also has a non-profit animal rescue is super nice. But the rest don’t seem to want to help you at the front desk. At all. And the rooms are so dark and sad. It’s a depressing setup honestly.

Nice

This is an older hotel, but well-maintained. This is the second time we've stayed where we don't have enough shampoo in the shower-mounted bottle. We don't want service as we're out a lot. You'd think that they would fully stock shampoo before someone checks in. There is a weekend front desk worker that gets easily frazzled and needs some work on handling more than one task.

Good

Hotel is good, complementary breakfast and snacks are good. The only thing that bother is the extra charge for parking, which is not even covered for when is raining.

I didn’t like having to pay extra for hotel parking. I did like the hotel itself and the breakfast and hotel restaurant was excellent with great service. The people at the front desk when I checked were not as friendly as usual at embassy

Convenient location, friendly and courteous staff, rooms are always very clean. The sitting area furniture is showing its age. The breakfast is spot on and the coffee is great!

Suprise parking fee

They started charging for parking. Didnt tell us till we got there. No additional security for larking even though we are paying for it. Mind you the last time i was there my window got smashed out so i was excited to pay fir parking thinking "more securty" nope. Juat another suprise money grab

Parking is a separate fee, we paid and then got a ticket for not paying…

It was clean that’s always a big thing

Rooms were quiet and clean. Large breakfast selection, best we’ve had since covid. Habe to pay for parking.

Great stay

Great experience as always freindly staff, and thw facilities were clean.

Really was hoping our stay at the ES would have been a good experience. We were there for a week and on our first night, there was yellow brown liquid dripping from the ceiling in the bathroom. Assuming the room above us had a toilet leak. They changed our room immediately with no problems. The new rooms bathroom flooring was lifting throughout the floor. Assuming the water damage from the short shower curtain not keeping the water inside the tub/shower. The flooring was lifting which made it hard to walk on. There is a small wet bar in the room and was going to use it to make coffee. Noticed the water coming out sprayed in the opposite direction so I rubbed underneath the spout and it felt very slimy. Took a towel to rub it off and it was all black slimy goo that was there!!! No way were we going to try to drink that water. Should provide bottled waters for making the coffee in the room. The noise from the highway we faced was very loud. Recommend staying in a room not facing the highway. The room was the perfect size, just very outdated and old furniture. Breakfast end at 9:00 through the week, didn’t make it a couple of times and they sure do close up shop ASAP! Paid a good penny to stay here and thought it would have shown for the price paid. Happy hour was okay. Snacks served seemed to be more for high school aged people not adults. Won’t be coming back to stay here again. Very disappointed.

We stayed here on a recommendation. I will start with the good. The room was clean it had an indoor pool which my kids loved and it had a good breakfast (made to order omelets). I booked through Expedia so no where when I booked about a month ago did it say I had to pay for parking $10. So next morning when we were leaving we find a ticket on our car which was charging us $5 more for not paying initially. They also did verify that I paid or not for parking. Second there is nothing around so if you want to eat you have to go pretty far. They do have a restaurant inside the hotel but we didn’t want to pay $23 for 12 wings and 17 for a burger. Since it’s close to the airport I think it perfect for people traveling on business but not for leisure.

Staff do not like it if you use a 3rd Party (Expedia) to reserve. You cannot earn Hilton points for your stay and they do not recognize any night stay toward your status just because I did not use their app to make reservations. Also, an employee is at the entrance wanting to “sell” a “resort” and give you “extra points” for listening to the sales pitch….EVERY SINGLE TIME YOU ENTER OR LEAVE THE PREMISES!!! She practically tripped us because we were trying to avoid her as we were going to our room. The couch in the room was horrible…belongs in the trash…worn out, it’s like sitting in a bowl.

This hotel is a bit out-dated, but has everything you need. Also very convenient and right near SAT for flights.

Once again, Embassy Suites rocked! One of if not the best hotel chain around in the $150 - $200 nightly range. Made to order breakfasts, huge clean rooms, quiet, excellent pool, hot tub & gym area. Can't say enough.

There was a gross dirty Band-Aid behind the shelf in the bathroom a crack in the mirror frame no shampoo in the shower containers, and the air conditioning was not good at all. There was also mold on the wall in the bathroom.

Upgraded our room. Complimentary drinks for guests that evening. Spacious room!

Staff were nice. Breakfast was good. The floor in our room was extremely dirty. It needs to be shampooed or replaced. The tub grip mat was partial- half of it was peeled off and stained dark.

Great stay in ES!

Best thing about ES is the free breakfast for my family of 7.

What could have been rated as an excellent stay was only average at best due to the fact that the AC in our room didn’t work properly.

This property was amazing. Clean, very quiet and very close to the airport, which makes it a great choice for travelers. They offer great amenities. The breakfast is one of the best we have had, which is included in your stay. Ommlette bar, great selection of breads, pastries, juices. Definitely recommend.

Bad Experience

Upon checking in. The staff at the hotel was unhelpful. They made us feel unwelcome throughout our stay because of our complaints. When we got to our room my wife noticed baby roaches in the bathtroom. The bathtub did not drain properly as well.We found other people's clothes left in our room. The bed sheets had mascara on them but the beds were comfortable. Also, the trash was not dumped out. When we tried using the room phones they did not work. Like the buttons to like guest services or front desk was not operational. All the front desk wanted to do is offer points to my rewards account. Not even enough to get a free night. Also, they didn't even offer to discount our total price for all the issues we had upon arriving. We will say this, the breakfast was great and the food service employees were awesome. We can't say anything wrong about the bar n restaurant staff. They were great. We did love the reception portion of our stay.

Really nice property I stay here atleast once a month only minor inconvenience is occasionally the hot tub doesn’t work and the reception male bartender can be a little standoffish but really everything else is so amazing I keep coming back. The omelette cook is funny and makes the best omelettes

The staff was really nice. The property itself was very old and the rooms and furniture in the rooms have not been updated in about 10 years. None of the furniture in the rooms look like it appeared online. Online the rooms looked modern. In person the rooms were old with old fixtures and old wall paint. The room wasn’t filthy but there was dust in various places. We started with room 411 and notified front desk of our displeasure. They moved us to room 403 which was a carbon copy of the room we came from. We assumed all rooms looked like what our first room presented. We decided to stay because we were already experiencing stress over visiting family. We did not want to go through searching for another hotel last minute. I figured we could survive one night. The breakfast almost made up for the old, smelly dusty room. Breakfast was excellent but not enough to agree to stay there EVER again.

Airport arrival made easy

The rooms were clean, the beds comfortable, the bath room was clean with lits of towels. Breakfast was abundant a delicious. Check in and out was enjoyable

Bathroom was not cleaned ( previous guest washcloth in tub); breakfast was so so; bartender was nice, but didn’t wash his hands between touching things and making drinks. Wouldn’t be on the top of my list to stay here again unless I needed somewhere chose to the airport, which it is

I enjoyed staying here! I liked how close it was to the airport. It was not noisy at all. The suite was clean and more than enough room for us. They stored our luggage upon arrival and were allowed early check-in. The daily manager’s reception was a great perk!

Don't hotels put vents in bathrooms anymore?

The management and staff are friendly, helpfully, and very knowledgeable. Would definitely recommend and return.

Always a Great Stay at thia location, Heated Pool came in clutch with recent cold front, breakfast is always great.

Everything about my stay was perfect!

Quick and convenient shuttle to airport was a plus.

The rooms are showing wear and tear. However, the staff is amicable and the property is clean and safe.

I don’t usually stay at big box hotels. This property was a pleasant surprise. Front desk staff were super friendly. Room was nice. Food from the restaurant was better then expected. Breakfast Buffet was excellent! Nice surprise!

Great hotel. Parking was not easy though

Our room was terrible. Water seeped through the tiles in the bathroom, a/c did not work sofa cushions were broken down, safe did not work, a/c filter was filthy, bad smell in room. Hilton honors member 781515517

One of the best stays we’ve had

Was extremely comfortable and clean as soon as we walked in. Staff was friendly and attentive. Rooms were immaculate, indoor pool was perfect for the kids, and the complimentary breakfast every morning was top notch.

Staff were excellent. Room was clean. Breakfast and social hour was great. Will definitely be staying again.

I truly had an amazing experience, and I’m pretty picky about hotels. Don’t skip the breakfast - the cook to order omelettes were 5 star too!

We had a wonderful stay

I liked all the amenities they offered . The staff was great and responsive on my needs. Daily housekeeping was also great to have again. It's close to the airport also. The suites were large with great accomodations also.

Everything was great, but my room seemed a little old. The shower was looking, and the carpeting was dirty.

Service and breakfast was great although they should have a sign for children not to touch food if they are not accompanied by their parents, I saw a lot of children putting back bacon and sausage with their hands back into the buffet warmer

Our car got broken into and things got stolen before we left for a trip.

CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS EXCELLENT BUT THE ROOM THIS TIME AROUND WAS VERY HUMIDY AND HOT. THERE WERE CURRENTLY WORKING ON THE CEILING OF THE HOTEL AND SOME DEBRI WOULD FALL DOWN TO THE DINING AREA. WE HAVE ALWAYS LOVED THE EMBASSY FOR OUR STAYS BUT NEXT TIME WILL CALL IN ADVANCE TO SEE IF THERE IS ANY REPAIR/MODIFICATIONS IN THE BUILDING..
