TravellerThis is a small hotel with a correspondingly small staff. They we always helpful. We appreciated that they collected us from the station and took us back at the end of our stay. The hotel was very quiet and peaceful. It is siutated just inside the city wall and verything is walkable.

TravellerLocated at the north gate, a quieter part of the old town. But pingyao old town is not too big, so walkable to the other parts as well. A supermarket is located a short walk away outside the city wall. Free transport to/fro train station was provided, which was a lovely touch. Very cosy room with the necessities. Staffs were really friendly!

Excellent stay
The hotel is lovely, in a traditional courtyard-style house. It is beside the north gate, just inside the ancient town, so the location is great. Alice was fantastic, collected us from the train station and gave us lots of tips on places to visit and eat. We had a great two-night stay, highly recommended!
