The accommodation was modern, located close to beach with mountain views. Clean, comfortable and sufficient amenities. Would definitely stay again.

Great views.

Beautiful location with great access to a little beach. Rooms were clean and tidy and had a lovely dinner at Lure. Couldn’t fault our stay.

Great spot, lovely little cabin. Felt secluded and with nice views over the bay.

The unit was wonderfully positioned with water views through a wall of glass then onto the private balcony overlooking native vegetation down to the water's edge. The sunrise was spectacular through this window, and the sunset was similarly beautiful through the restaurant's windows. Our meal at Lure Wine Bar & Restaurant was really memorable, tasty, perfectly cooked, vegetables hot and delicious. Staff service was excellent, local wines complimented the meal.

Resort is beautifully presented with amazing views of the bay. The room was spacious and very comfortable. Staff very friendly.

Dining was excellent. access to beach was excellent. staff very friendly. lack of room service for dollar value could be improved. kitchen facilities could be improved, ie coffee plunger was only single cup!

This property was stunning. The views cannot be described - stunning. So very relaxing and well situated to national park but secluded from the rest of the community. We loved this place.

The view is unbelievable. Plenty of local walks to occupy your day. Highly recommend the ATV tour around the National Park. Accommodation is comfortable and cosy.

Amazing views

Very clean, modern, comfortable room with amazing views.

Magnificent location and great views of Coles Bay and surrounds. Friendly wildlife (Wallabies) on our front doorstep. Handy to regional facilities and tours.

No restaurant

No restaurant and very isolated. If we had of known this before we booked we would not have stayed here.

Close to beach...about 30 meters. Greeted early in the morning by wallabies at our back deck.

Stunning location but disappointed

The location and the view from the room are stunning. Wallabies hop up onto the private outdoor deck and the beach is just in front of the suite. Dinner in the restaurant was very good. However, the service really detracts from the experience. The reception staff made it very clear that all the required information was in the room compendium. This was not the case. On our second day we discovered that barista coffee and a limited breakfast was available in the restaurant rather than just the continental breakfast provided to the room that was described in the compendium and in an email provided prior to our arrival. We stayed 3 nights and the room did not have a complete clean on any day we stayed. We had to request more shampoo from reception! The room rate for this hotel is similar to a 5 star hotel in Sydney but the service is not commensurate.

Views across the water from each suite are exquisite with opportunities for walks along the water's edge. The daily credit toward dining at the restaurant was really useful as the food quality is excellent

Truly enjoy the Bay view from my cottage. Would certainly recommend you experiencing it for yourself.

Amazing view from our studio. Huge bed, great shower and wallabies bouncing around the grounds. The restaurant is wonderful - food, views, ambience. Worth paying a little extra for a memorable dining experience.

Time for an upgrade.

I was disappointed with The Edge of the Bay after reading the glowing reviews. The cabin was warm but dated, the feel more log cabin than luxury for the price. The shower was the worst on our three week trip- a tiny corner shower with a plastic curtain is no longer acceptable in resort accommodation. Having said that, the bed was comfortable, the kitchen adequate and the view amazing. Staff at the front desk were most obliging.

Peaceful, relaxing place in an exceptionally beautiful location. Staff are friendly and helpful. I recommend it highly.

Quiet, close to the water.

Beautiful Setting

Our suite looked straight to Great Oyster Bay and Freycinet. Views were world class and walks on the beach just perfect. Some very friendly and inquisitive wallabies too

A great spot to stay in Coles Bay

Edge of the Bay offers a stay right on the water in Coles Bay. If you're lucky, you'll have a room overlooking the bay and the magnificent views it affords. The rooms are big and spacious with an adjoining balcony. You can chill out on the balcony and expect to have some wallabies visit you to enjoy the scenery. The rooms are good without being outstanding, and perhaps are a little dated. Not so much of a big deal, but you might expect a little more for the cost. The restaurant accompanying is good, but with a limited menu, may be worth only dining at for one night and jumping into town for another meal.

Good accommodation. Onsite restaurant was very good for dinner. Great outlook from suite. Local wildlife on your doorstep. Very relaxing.

Nice spot, a little worn out, old pillows and beds, seemingly dangerous? radio in kitchen. Superb restaurant and menu / wine list. Prompt service despite late booking. Attentive reception staff and very personable manager. Nicko.

Excellent views of the water,l from our suite. It was a short walk to the beach. Friendly staff lovely meal in the nearby restaurant while enjoying the water. We would return to the Edge of The Bay Resort.

Beautiful secluded natural environment

We really enjoyed this secluded location. What a beautiful outlook for our room. In a totally natural environment. Would recommend , especially for anyone planning to go to Freycinet and Wineglass Bay.

A pleasant stay with attentive staff

Fantastic stay with attentive staff and excellent services nearby. Pleasantly surprised by the restaurant - a relatively small menu, but everything was excellent and it really took advantage of locally sourced food. Breakfast basket was also great value. Location is fantastic, and there are options for those wanting a more active stay if that’s what you’re after.

wonderful location. staffs? good. however something lack considering cost. almost nothing wifi, NO-connection to tv, netflix.
