Service and attention to detail made our stay superior

Our room was near a construction site that was noisy and the bidet did not work.

Beautiful hotel. Beach access and dining options are the best in Tumon. The staff when above and beyond to make sure our stay was exceptional. Our 4th time staying at Dusit Beach Resort Guam and we cannot wait to return.

Enjoyed our room and the pool.

Super nice rooms and views of beach. I didn’t have a hair dryer in my room and I contacted staff and they came and brought me one within ten minutes of asking! I was very thankful

Great place to stay

This property is in a great location, that’s why we chose it. We had a brief encounter with the front desk and the “‘manager” had a bit of an attitude when we were understandably upset that our room wasn’t ready hours after check-in. We stayed in three different rooms and the AC wasn’t the best in any of them. There are areas that definitely need improvement, but overall, we’d stay here again. We’d probably book a higher room rate type of room though. It seems they take better care of those rooms.

Waiting for two hours because rooms are not ready. Air conditioning is not working only fan and no cooling. I reported it but no response. Terrible experience paying two rooms and spend 3 nights but not worthy.

The staff was friendly and wonderful. Great customer service. The only thing was the wait time to check in. I know we can’t help the likes being long but the total wait time was over 30 minutes.

Too many great things to say. I'm retired militay and returned to Guam for the 1st time in 13 years with my family of 4. Location was perfect and easily walkable to most stores and restaurants in Tumon. Free parking. Beautifully landscaped pool and grounds right off the beach. I wish they were a little more flexible with their pool policy as you cannot sponsor a guest or buy a pool pass for them as many other hotels offer. Rooms were cleaned every days and staff was extremely polite and helpful. Overall great stay and would love to stay there again.

Great hotel. Great location, good service. Only thing I didn’t care for was the limited amount of parking at the property. There is a garage next door but it turns into a long walk to get to your car.

Amazing place for a vacation or even a staycation. Connected to a mall directly on the Tumon strip and dusit has everything you’ll need. From food, drinks, entertainment and beautiful beach access

I didn’t like that my air conditioner was broke in my room and the maintenance never came, until the next day right before my check out.

Good customer service

Leaking water in the main lobby, no bathroom ventilation, no ac in the room, only a fan. The tv does not have a casting option, the pillow was flat, very out dated hotel.

It has access to Tumon Beach and is the best location to connect directly to the shopping center. The resort swimming pool is divided into a kids pool and a swimming pool, and it is sufficient to use it depending on the purpose of the guest, and guests who prefer marine activities can use Tumon Beach directly connected to the resort swimming pool. It is a resort that maintains a perfect level of condition overall, and it should be liked by travelers who are planning a family and lover vacation. One disadvantage is that there are always many guests because this resort is favored by many tourists, and the resulting speed of service can be felt slowly from a tourist's point of view. However, this problem is based on the individual tourist's tendency, and it may be an inconvenience to be endured if you want a resort with a preferred location and condition. Personally, the most impressive part was the service mindset and professional consciousness of the manager and staff. I would like to compliment you for actively coping with my inconvenience during your stay and for your continuous follow-up management.

Disappointed/ NOT worth staying therw

Hotel had NO real amenities very basic; Over Priced; Staff- front desk gave run around a concerning room, odd/ even original room was on the side where sea food can be smelled being cooked from ground Restaurant; I possessed and allergy to seafood tried to switch to higher floor which was useless could still smell it in the area room was located on the same side, STAFF at front said NO available rooms on even side they are all booked up (for tourists) then suddenly a room comes available makes NO sense hotel was just reserving a specific side even number for tourists with the view. Local people also help to keep your hotel afloat; WILL never book a room at this hotel again

SAVE YOUR MONEY AND YOUR TIME!

I booked this hotel for a two-day stay but had to check out a day early due to the general condition of my room. I arrived three hours before check-in to see if I could check in early, but I was not permitted to. You'd think my room would be pristine after waiting three hours to check in. I got to my room, and the beds were made, but the bathroom was dreadful. The tub had a large dent in it, and the shower head had water stains. There was a lot of dust and hair on the bathroom floor boards. If you wish to stay at the Dusit, I prefer its sister hotel, which is more expensive, or the Hyatt.

The pool and beach are easily accessible. The employees are professional and friendly.

Room was supposed to be ocean view but we were place in the corner, in which half the ocean was blocked by a wall. Air conditioning was not working. Room was very warm from the beginning of stay. They weren’t able to fix the unit, so they brought an electric fan. The fan itself was dusty and was blowing out dust balls. We explained all the issues to the front desk and they said they could not offer any rate adjustment but the manager did offer access to buffet or the pool. We opted not to accept any of the offers. Our stay was not worth the price we paid for it.

The two beach restaurants/bars were great the room exceeded my expectations.

Excellent Guam Resort

Dusit Beach is an excellent resort. The facilities were great. The beach access was amazing.

This is the old Outrigger hotel. Best part is access to Dusit Thani which has better restaurants, newer building and view of the sunset than the beach resort. We did have the ocean front room and it was spacious and clean. Beautiful view of the sunset. Staff was cordial when approached but we didn’t interact or see them too much to be honest. All in all a good visit. I would want to stay at Dusit Thani next time to see that experience.

We liked being on the beach. It was also convenient to the airport and main roads.

Newly renovated property added a high value to my stay

Very nice layout for the beach with a cool lil tiki style bar. I picked this hotel randomly to stay at and I was super happy.

Dusit beach is right in front of pool, it is possible to come and go between beach and pool. My kids loves and are willing to come back again. Breakfast is fresh and full of variaty. Fruits are fresh but not tasty unfortunately.

LOVELY IF A FEW IMPROVEMENTS WERE MADE

Check in and check out was complicated for no reason other than the employee (especially at check out) refused to listed to us and couldn't be bothered to handle the transaction professionally. Rolling eyes, uptight, I know more than you do attitiute was very irritating. He should be replaced. He does not represent your property and the goal of hospitality well. The water was turned off for 3 hours from 12 - 3 PM on a Tuesday. Aside from that, the women's room in the lobby had 3 out of 5 stalls out of order. Also know that if you do not have a beach front room your view will be obstructed. I was happy that my obstructed view was still beautiful.

Excellent experience for last minute business trip.

Great hotel, right on the beach, lots of shops and restaurants within walking distance. The only issue was our room was a partial ocean view with an overlook of the dock area. At 3:30 a.m. every morning the trash truck came by and dumped numerous trash cans for about 15-minutes. Other than that the place is great.

Great place to stay and relax!

The room (1521) was nice; however, it was next to the elevators and the noise was very noticeable from my room which made it at time difficult to fall asleep. Some areas that may need to be improved, is the water pressure, although it was good, it could be better.

Service was outstanding however, my room was hot. I don't think the air conditioning unit was working properly. I ended up checking our early because the room was so uncomfortable.

It’s my third or fourth stay and I keep coming back. Love the sunsets at Tabu beach bar.

The rooms were great, the kids splash pool and adult pool was amazing. The staff at the pools were nice and informative about utilizing both hotels pools. The front desk staff and Palm café staff were not that welcoming. My kids and I are a big group so I guess it was inconvenient for them to tend to us. The foreign interns were amazing tbough. Extremely kind and courteous. Local staff was eh.

The shower head was unstable and the door can be disappeared in the door bag. You need to hook it to pull. Inside the room was clean. We loved their pool and private beach. You can spot various colorful tropical fish without diving.

My air conditioner didn’t work the entire time. It was like sleeping in a sauna, my family didn’t enjoy the stay at all. Kids were too uncomfortable to sleep through the night because it was too hot.

Parking garage: limited parking, not to mention the fact they had a parking attendant that had no sort of professionalism or organization. Room: the decor is clearly outdated, the bed was hard, the sheets were awful, and did I mention how they did not have an ironing board or an iron in the room. We called the front desk for an ironing board and iron… We were told that it would be right up. 40 minutes later, we still had not received either one of the two items requested. When we address the front desk personnel, they were like “oh I’m so sorry, we’ll make sure there’s one there in your room upon your return.” Dining: Overpriced. The food at the buffet was cold. Tthe food was not consistently replaced with fresh items. Staff: Friendly and respectful. The staff is clearly working with a subpar property, with what I would assume, limited resources

Customer service staff are not guiding you properly.

Perfect location. Not enough parking. Staff was awesome. Check in was fast and easy. Housekeeping needs a little help. I had room clean every 3 days. Seems like they made the bed and empty the garbage and that’s it. Lots of restaurants to chose from, but closes by 9 pm. Bar closes at 10. Pool closes early too, but the beach is just a few steps away. I booked for 1 king size partial view of the ocean, it’s not the best view, I guess I should have booked for 2 queen size beds to get the better ocean view. There’s a little laundry mat that is shared with the other hotel.

We loved that there was a live band every night. We also loved the pool amenities. The convenience of the washer and drier already having its soap and softner in it was a plus!!!

It's a shame that the soundproofing is not good

AMAZING beach and pool area - resort is adjacent to Dusit Thani sister resort which offers many dining options. Resort is conveniently located next to many shops and restaurants and has on site car rental agency and plenty of parking. It is about a 10-minute ride to the airport

The staff here are friendly and amazingly accommodating. The resort was extremely overpriced as my room did not have consistent AC and they wanted to charge me $80 for a shuttle to the airport 2 miles away. My daughter (6) did the kids club 2x and loved every minute of it. There wasn’t a single instance that I felt unsafe traveling alone with my daughter. I would absolutely recommend it.

Quick 2nights trip to Guam with my husband, it was very pleasant, wonderful service hotel stay experience! room had partially ocean view as it stated, we come from neighbor island so it's not a biggest deal but we enjoyed high floors view very much of tumon street. ice machines are just at the same floor same hall way, my husband loves it more than anything! ABC MART at downstairs onsite connected shopping mall, anytime you need some extra extra you can just go down without escaping hotel facility. Bakery cafe and lounge at lobby were always active with business and great service and products as well. sometimes car parkings are full under the hotel premises but DUSIT THANI parking are connected either, so no worry you can find a space and walk back into Lobby without much hustles. Love smells of entire DUSIT GROUP facilities, I really wanted to get if there is a scented candles or room fragrance of same products if they sells. Definitely going back on next trip again.Thank you!

Despite the long wait prior to our stay. We enjoyed the upgrade & the view of the fireworks made the wait worth it. Thankful for staff and management accommodations.

Wonderful stay

This hotel takes guest feedback very seriously. Staff is very helpful and accomodating. Rooms are great, view is awesome, and within walking distance of lots of great places in guam. Well worth tge stay and would recommend to everyone

Clean rooms, great facilities with pools, beach, fitness room, restaurants. Housecleaning was inconsistent as they did not replace cups and mugs, did not change garbage daily and did not update bathroom supplies. We had to call down multiple times. The Dusit gold program was good in theory but could have been more clear.

1 Poor housekeeping The room was not cleaned until I got back to the room at 4pm. When I returned to the room after asking for cleaning, I doubted whether the room had been cleaned. They didn't even vacuum (there was still dust on the floor), they just emptied the trash can and left new towels. 2 Low quality breakfast Even the breakfast buffet, which doesn't have many varieties, is of very low quality. (Orange juice was the best) I hope the hotel will improve the food quality. I chose this hotel because of the good location compared to other hotels, but if I come to Guam again, I will stay at another hotel.

Last minute reservation not a good idea

Hotels.com reservation was not in the Dusit system so…, took extra time checking in and possible future hassle with billing.

Beware rooms by the elevator

It was ok, our room was right by the elevator and every night for 4 nights we were restless. The sounds of the elevator going up and down floors kept us up. We eventually had to buy ear plugs. House keeping did great at cleaning, but forgot the little things like replacing used robes and coffee cups.

There was a mixup on my arrival with the Hotel saying they would not honor one of the features listed on the Expedia site of the rental of a room…the issue was resolved the next day by the hotel manager…: Other than this… I would highly recommend this hotel ….

I would recommend getting a room on the East side of the resort for the best view of the sunrise/sunset.

Clean rooms, convenient location, friendly staff. Buffet downstairs and parking sucked. This is the optimal location if you will not be driving- limited parking spots that seem to always be filled up. My kids loved the splash park and the easy beach access.

check in was a nightmare. they did not get our room request correct, and we had to wait a full 2.5 hours before getting the correct room. they did not offer any kind of compensation for the inconvenience.

The location was perfect and the beach was the most beautiful.

Other than the extremely limited parking, our stay was very satisfying.
