Great place and even better staff. The hotel does show its age but you can tell that they do their best at maintaining the property. Overall experience was wonderful and if we visited Ocean City again we would stay there again

This is an honest review of the Dunes hotel. We stayed there for the Boardwalk Rock Festival. Our room was clean. It looked updated. The carpet looked new. There was a refrigerator, a microwave and plenty of shelves for storage. The bathroom was small but big enough for what you needed. They also supplied many toiletries including shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, a hair net and a new box of tissues. Our linen was clean and fresh. Our air conditioner did not turn on. We called the front desk and within 10 minutes someone came up and got it working. The pool and the property were clean and inviting. The hotel is located at the end of the boardwalk. We waked to and from the fest the first night but the next night we rented one of the bikes located right by the Dunes. It was a game changer. The only negative was there was no elevator. So keep that in mind when renting. WE WERE EXTREMELY HAPPY AND WILL BE BACK. Thank you

Cute beach motel

Cute beach motel. Clean rooms and friendly staff. We had to change rooms because the mini-split HVAC did not cool after the maintenance technician adjusted the settings for us. The front desk staff was able to move us to another room.

Enjoyed our stay. The property is very nice and convenient to everything. Steps away from the boardwalk and beach. Room was clean and had everything we needed. They have a pool and plenty of on site parking. We will come again for sure.

Ive stayed here now twice. This time idk where to start. When i arrived i asked if it was possibly to upgrade to the suites. After a few moments i could tell the young man when the cross earring didnt know what he was doing. The kady behind the desk stated nothing was avaliable. I decided to not only check on expedia but the hotels website. Both said the room i wanted to uograde to was avaliable. So theh lost more money. Second- the room smelled bad, soon as you opened the door. The smell of old water and mold. Third- the bathroom had ling hair all over it, the tub wouldnt drain it was so clogged. The toilet still had dark yellow pee all over it. Lamp shade had rust on them, when they "cleaned" the room all that was done was towel change and the same sheets on the bed re fitted. . I would'nt stay here again if it was free.

It was a good stay overall but the climate control was cryptic and I had to get a space heater to get through the colder nights. The room was very comfortable otherwise.

The only thing we didn’t like about this property, the beds were not very comfortable.

My only complaint is the bathroom was miniature including the toilet and the room smelled of cigarettes and mint. The location was good, staff was friendly and the pool was beautiful.

Rooms were very clean. Staff was super friendly and helpful. It’s located at the end of the boardwalk so you do have to walk a little bit to reach any stores or food but we didn’t mind.

The staff was excellent, and the room was very well cleaned and neat. No complaints other than you have to ask of a temote for the a/c unit, we froze the first night, but once we called the staff took care of it right away. Could use some updating but very well maintained. We would stay again.

it was a great stay and our room was on the first room so it made it super easy to move stuff in and go to the beach which was super close by the way. great food selections around and near a lot of things. the room was clean and very nice and there’s not a negative that i can think of. great hotel and will stay there again

The motel was close to the beach and a block from activities.

The staff is awesome. Got to the hotel way before check in time but they let me check in early. Asked me if a room on the 3rd floor was ok.? They just didnt give it to me. I love this place. Will always stay here. Rooms are clean grounds are clean. Just a very nice place.

Great location at the end of the OCMD boardwalk. Friendly staff. Beautiful pool on site. Plenty of parking. Room needed a deep clean including carpet shampoo. Our feet were dirty from walking in the room. Decking needs a good power wash. We enjoyed relaxing on the provided Adirondack chairs directly in from of our room.

The location is unbeatable! Near the beach and boardwalk. However the room is old and it smells as soon you open the door. Another issue I had with the room was the noise from the A/C. It was a bit annoying my first 2 nights after that I just got used to the noise. Overall, for the price and location it was a nice deal but I would appreciate if the room didn’t have that smell.

Inexpensive room when booked less than 24 hrs before arrival. Location is great; 1/2 block from the Northern end of the boardwalk. The hotel is an older property but they are maintaining it well. The room was very clean. The bed was reasonably comfortable. They have a pool and coffee is available in the office at all times.

It was just average,wouldn’t pay more than $ 70 a night

We liked everything. Disappointed the trolley was not running on the boardwalk, but understand due to the child being killed the week before. Overall everything was nice.

Lovely and fun. Old beach feel

The room was clean, the bathroom was a little tight. It would have been better if the AC was working. It went out maintenance came fixed it that lasted about an hour so needless to say it was hot in the room and we couldn't wait to leave. Other then that it was good.

My stay was going well until the shower water wouldn’t go down then the toilet almost overflowed. Also, my entire stay with the lights going dem & blinking as if everything was about to blow out especially when using the microwave, iron & hair blower. Seems like the high powered appliance made the lights blink or dem. You may want to check into that before a fire occurs because I’m sure it’s a fire hazard! Another thing that I noticed was the window air conditioner was not secured properly as the screws to mount the closures on both sides were missing & this helps to keep bugs out & close the gap from the outside to keep the air in. And, last but not least, it was very noisy past 11pm & sounded like someone was jumping over my head & another was hitting the walls or banging on something to my right. At one point, I heard a dog barking near my door. I feel that rules should be enforced so everyone can have a pleasant stay or you should lower the cost for the rooms!!!

This place was just older. The beds were comfortable.

Well maintained. Staff was friendly, and this property is very clean inside, and outside. The rooms are very clean. You have the option to have your room cleaned daily, or whenever you like, if you need something just ask they will get it to you right away. The pool is kept clean everyday and they check it all the time . Straight access to beach. This is motel/hotel. I highly appove. I stayed 5 nights , with my husband room has a nice layout and is big. Safe area , tables, and loungers. During my stay there was a lot of multiple families staying there. They had their fun time, and was respectful to all other people that was solo or couples. We all on vacation and we all have our own type of fun. I will be here next year again. I only wish i found out about this place sooner.

I liked the size of the room and everything was to our liking. We will be back for more summer time in the near future!

The Dunes court was very clean. They had someone cleaning the pool and watering all the beautiful plants daily. The housekeepers were around all the time if you needed anything. It’s a motor lodge but for the price and the location to the beach this was an excellent choice. The staff was amazing and went above and beyond

Clean and friendly.

We liked the hotel itself, but forgot that is was a "motel" and not a "hotel". We were on the end so sometimes people walked by our room, but everyone was respectful and were quiet. We do like to sit out on a private balcony, so we didn't sit out much since people would walk by us. Service was excellent and everything was very clean. We didn't go in the pool but it looked clean and nice. A very short walk to the beach made it great. No elevator, but the Dunes let us know that ahead of time...UGH getting older we will know better next time. Nice visit for 3 nights overall.

Stay at Dunes every year for Vacation. Always a great stay. This trip some minor issues. Drawers on chest of drawers did NOT stay closed, constantly rolling open slightly, and the bathroom door towel hanger Very loose. Otherwise always a very comfortable stay.

Dunes Court is the budget friendly option. I find the rooms to be large and comfortable. I have been on the 1st floor and the 2nd floor before. The staff will work with you if you have a request.

There is no elevator and we were on the 3rd floor. Not a problem for us, but be advised in case it would be a problem for you, request first floor. The staff members were all friendly and helpful, room was clean, beds were so comfy, housekeeping was good, no complaints at all. Room had a fridge and microwave which saved on having to buy every meal, snack and drink out. Tram station is just a few hundred feet from your door. Close enough to listen to the ocean. Dividers between balcony seating gives you privacy. Would highly recommend.

We have stayed here for the last few years. It’s a great location but the pool wasn’t clean and bathrooms could use updating.

We were very comfortable staying there. The staff was very friendly. My only criticism is that our room was not serviced until I asked them on the third day because our trashcan was near full.

Dunes Court was a great place to stay. It was at the top of the board walk which was convenient for us. The pool is very nice. The room was big enough for 4 adults. The beds were only full (thought they were queens) so it was a tight fit. Other than that, the stay was great. I would stay here again for sure!

The bathroom could use an update. Table and chairs need updated (*cushions on chairs)

My husband and I visited Ocean City with our two children and stayed at Dunes Court. I was skeptical when I booked the room, but reading reviews I thought this will be ok just to shower and sleep. This hotel was GREAT, I can not say enough about the staff, the rooms were clean, the pool was clean, and its nestled at the end of the boardwalk right by the Tram station, making it easy to travel to the Inlet and back without worrying about parking. Also we had just a quick walk to the beach, Everything was great and I told my husband we found a GEM in Ocean City, a little "diamond in the rough". We will definitely being staying again and I highly recommend Dunes Court for your next stay!

Was a little disappointed with the cleanliness of the room, reported sand on our sheets and nothing was done about it. They ran out of washcloths and we had to use small hand towels, that wasn’t so bad but the sand on the sheets bothered us the most…I guess staying at the Suites spoiled us.

The staff was friendly and attentive. Very close to the beach and the trolley also boards right by the hotel. There is also a 7-11 across the street. Would stay here again for sure. Pool gets cleaned every morning.

Room was clean. Service was average. Although we didn’t request daily cleaning service, staff kept forgetting to restock fresh towels. I’d recommend as an affordable alternative for families with small children. Pool was clean and a great amenity!

The young lady at the front desk was the nicest receptionist we have ever had, anywhere, period. The Dunes Court has been there a long time so with that said, it was clean, quiet, priced right, nice pool with a second pool next door at the Dunes Suites, plenty of parking, building is at the end of the board walk, and a 1/2 block away from the beach, so the tram and restrooms are convenient, and a few places to eat nearby. Downside, you are 2 1/4 miles from the inlet. But with the bus, tram or walking you don’t have to find a parking space downtown so you can save on paid parking.

Nice little gem at the beach

This hotel was a great place for a last minute trip to the beach for the kiddo and I. Nice little room, pretty good shape, very clean. Hotel is right off the north end of the boardwalk, just next to the tram stop.

Staff was very helpful and friendly. They even helped my daughter and I to our room. Nice place to lay your head and had more amenities than they list!! Positive!!!

Great location

Love, took care of us, very kind and friendly, they even let me check in earlier. But the problem is that they didn't change my sheets, in 4 days, they didn't take out the trash, I had to ask for towels, the bathroom floor got the wet because the curtain is very short and all the water comes out when you was taking a bath.
