Very pleasant.
Staff is great and rooms are clean. The lobby and downstairs restaurant are under construction. Construction outside as well
The A/C was not working and we had to pay a fee for an early check-in. Even with the window open it was hot in the room and we had trouble sleeping. The early check-in was 50% off the daily charge which I find expensive knowing they had many place.
Great
Good property good value
Very convenient location Lota of restauants closeby.
Cozy up to doubletree
Great heated indoor pool gym and breakfast
Executive lounge was never available, snacks were never given and free water at lounge was never given. The staff was great and the housekeeping was great. Parque la 93 definitely not the top place to be at.
We booked and executive room with business lounge access. The first day we could not use it due to a private event, the second night we were told we had no access but after a lot of debating we had and the third night it was closed for no apparent reason. the only drinks we could order was the happy hour drinks which were also offered in the bar downstairs but at no cost to booking with business lounge. At the end we paid more at the booking stage for no Lounge access a waste of money. Steven tried is best to make us happy on the only night we were able to use the lounge It seemed that the steam room is always turned off and you need to request it when you want to use it but no apparent sign next to it to advise. the gym/pool/Spa area didn't have a member of staff to ask so i had to call reception to send someone up and ended up with 3 maintenance guys. The breakfast selection is a bit sad too. Check out was also a bit tense, as we had to make a point that the drinks we had on the first night in the bar (business lounge had private event) should be voided from the bill, but again it was hard work but finally managed to get the drinks taken out. This hotel has a management problem which need to be addressed. information to guests need to be clearer and simpler. Nothing is told or written anywhere to make the guests experience easier. On a positive note the beds are comfortable but unfortunately i would not recommend this hotel and the experience has tainted the brand.
Good hotel
I won’t never coming back!
The property was quite, well kept, the staff was friendly and eager to help eventhough we spoke different languages. Would stay again.
Nothing extraordinary Restaurant for breakfast was separate building from hotel and not very appealing
Just be aware to put the correct amount of people in the reservation. I made a mistake an only put 1 person rather than 4, and they made a big deal about it. The dinning area at night was empty on Sunday night, we had a big group of 20 people. They told is that an specific area of the dinning was reserved and we couldn't use it. No one came to that area all night. The group left at closing time. There was only one cook. It took an hour or so for the meals to be cooked. The server did not seem to be happy. The server just takes your order and never comes back to check on you. You have to be chasing your server down. Even for drinks they take forever. The hotel is at a very nice location. The rooms were cleaned.
Next to parq 93. A great location
The staff was not that friendly as the staff from Bucaramanga hotels.
Very nice property. Good customer services.
Nice hotel. Well located with all the required amenities.
Excellent
Wonderful
No good customer service. Mini bar was broken since we got there. We let them know about the issue several times and it was never addressed. Location is average since its kind of close to the good areas of Calle 93. Wouldn't stay here again nor do I recommend this hotel.
Poor service, amenities not as advertised
I do not recommend this property. Did not respond to multiple emails flying in for airport service, amenities not as advertised (for example no archery), shower stopped working (admittedly hotel took care of this quickly, but not quick enough for me to have a shower for the day), very hard to get responses from staff, poor hours for amenities, would not recommend. Paid extra money for many of these unavailable services, for the same value there are much better hotels at much better rates. Recommend avoiding this hotel.
The Beds were great, the black out curtains were also great, spacious rooms, and nice location. The breakfast was little overpriced, but overall the staff and location make this hotel great.
Ripped Off.
I had the deluxe suite, and it is exactly as advertised. I think the bed may have been the most comfortable I have ever experienced. Everything was clean and in good repair. The service from the staff was very good, linens were of high quality and not worn. My problem came with the fact that there is a rooftop bar that was located just one floor above my room. The music was played extremely loud, along with someone speaking over a loudspeaker. I think it went on until at least 3am. They really need to do some soundproofing and maybe close earlier. Also, the hotel I booked had a pool and a nice terrace for all the guests. But when I went to the pool, I was told that the pool and the terrace as well as the lounge were all closed that day until 3pm because of a private childrens birthday party. I felt pretty ripped off, to be honest. I mean, I paid for that pool and terrace and then they basically told me that the pool and terrace are just there to lure me into paying for a room but not for me to use. I was pretty upset since these were two factors for selecting this particular hotel.
Our stay was perfect. The staff was very friendly and responsive to our needs. Highly recommended.
ME ENTREGARON EL PRIMER DIA UN CUARTO USADO SIN LIMPIEZA MUY MALA EXPERIENCIA
Exceptional stay
Stayed 6 nights and I have nothing but great things to say. The service, the food, the spa, the pool, the customer service. The cleanliness of our room. The concierge during the weekend made our stay wonderful. She is very friendly, courteous, she was very helpful and made our stay wonderful. Great location and very safe. Will come back here again.!
Room service and restaurant food was not good as i expected to be
This is a GREAT hotel - I stay in Bogota many times a year and this hotel is now my #1 choice. The entrance is VERY confusing as it doesn't have a street drive up and there are no signs to tell you where to go - but everything else is excellent... well - wait a second, the breakfast doesn't have ANY of the delicious food Colombia is known for - so because of that and the horrible way to access the hotel, I am going to have to give it four stars
El hotel se vende como Parque 93 pero esta ubicado lejos del parque.
Great place to be
Transferred to another hotel :(
I arrived at the hotel at 11pm after a long trip and meetings, when the clerk told me there was not a room available for me, that they were going to transfer my reservation to a partner hotel, which is less category than this one. I will never come back to this hotels. Terrible experience
Lovely wonderful experience.
Great stay
The property was undergoing some remodeling and repairs - that no one informed me about, neither Expedia nor the hotel. They had workers hanging outside of the building facade painting, yelling and using electric power tools at 6:00 am for 3 days in a row. I was in Bogota with my wife for vacation, it was not a business trip where I have to be up at 6 or 7 am. And in those 3 days we were woken up by the loud noises I mentioned above and the WORST PART IS that on the third morning we forgot to close the curtains all the way and when I woke up, there was a worker hanging by some cables just outside of our windows staring inside trying to look at my wife sleeping top less. The utmost lack of respect, unproffesionalism and awareness of what is happening with the hotel in general. I will place a formal complaint with the corporate offices of the Hilton group due to the issues mentioned above, with names and last names. The hotel experience was mediocre at best - room was not very clean, dust on the bathroom door and a pullout couch filled with dark stains. Please, i would like to speak with someone from Expedia about all these issues, i wound appreciate a call from a supervisor regarding this matter. Thank yiu very much.
Great staff nice property however regular bar and rooftop bars aren’t open for business. Nice rooftop furniture and relaxing spot . Good quick food available for room service . Veery accommodating to guests needs
Heater did not work, my 10 month old son got sick from sleeping in 8°C.. When we asked them to fix it or for another room we were told that "everyone was complaining about the cold". In our 4 nights there, nothing was done to address this.. The roll down window shade had obviously been broken for a long time, it was torn on parts and almost impossible to roll up and down. Our water also went out everyday, once for over 3 hours.. We were told that a pipe had burst, I suppose one burst every day we were there...... Not at all what is expected from a Doubletree.. I wouldn't stay at that property again even if it was for free
The hotel was in a great location. Stores and quality restaurants were in walking distance. The area felt more safe than many other parts of Bogota. The room was nice, but at times the room service was intrusive. Despite having a do not disturb sign up, the room service came in multiple times. One of these times room service came in while I was in my underwear. There was only one pleasant person at reception named Gisele. The others working in the lobby were at times rude and exploitive. I received room service and the food made me very sick. The hotel called a doctor for me which was nice. I was vomiting and had diarrhea for 48 hours. When I requested a refund for the food, there was a battle with a manager for several days. This manager repeated that no one else had this problem, therefore theres no reason for a refund. After several days I stood my ground and was finally given a refund. After purchasing $80 of gifts upon check out, one of the men from check out attenpted to charge us from the mini bar for things we didn't get. He attenpted to charge us an additional $40 even though wr only used 2 waters and 2 candy bars from the mini bar. Thankfully Gisele was there and remedied the situation. Gisele is an asset to this hotel, and if it wasn't for her it would have been much worse. She deserves a management position, she seems to be the only one equipped and capable of a hospitality position at this hotel. Location was great, room and cleanliness was ok, and service bad.
The room and amenities were good. The restaurant food was not as good as expected.
The Hotel taxi service is a scam. They try to change counterfeit bills with tourists. After complaining 3 times about this to the hotel including the manager the corrupt hotel taxi driver was still working as usual and possibly collaborating with hotel front desk staff. DO NOT STAY HERE OR USE THE HOTEL TAXI.
A+
Great stay. Great staff. Very courteous
Our room was next to one noise area that working during late hours, so we never have a quiet night
The hotel rooms Are very tired .. Too expensive for what it is
RESTAURANT NEEDS TO BE BETTER
Perfect yo stay relax
The mini fridge was nit working and after several request it git changed I didn't get the room i book on expedia was a complete different dark old room
Rundown
Junior Suite was very rundown, not as seen in pictures
Excelente service, very friendly staff
Great customer service and friendly
Confortable bed. Breakfest is not good, everyday is the same options...
Excellent hotel and safe
Great location for our early fligth, very nice lobby wiht great bar and live music. Rooms are perfect!!
Clean hotel. Good staff. Quiet street.
Excelente ubicación. Muy cerca a centros comerciales y restaurantes. Zona segura: El hotel es super lindo y la gente muy amable. Sin duda me quedaria nuevamente aqui
Like being in the US (in a good way)
The room was incredibly clean. The staff was very helpful. They even had a van service and drove us to dinner one night. It is a 30 minute drive to the museums and the historic district, but not expensive to get where you want to be. The breakfast buffet was a nice way to start the day. If we are lucky enough to get back to Bogota any time soon, we will definitely stay here.
Nice for families, good location, needs towels
Nice room with cool AC, nice showers but needed towels (only 2 provided). The indoor pool was warm and nice though limited hours (6-10pm) and needed towels. Didn’t include breakfast but can buy (we didn’t, ate breakfast at Cafe 18 across street, recommend the breakfast combo!). was about 15 percent more expensive than comparable hotels like Holiday Inn express a few blocks away. Had great WiFi. Location was quiet and safe. Gym was well equipped but needed paper towels for disinfecting.
Is good
Book the hotel
We only stayed for one night - as our original plan was - but we wanted to extend our stay (if it wasn’t for a planned itinerary for a wedding). The hotel room was spacious, amazing, and worth booking again. I can’t say too much about restaurants around the area since it was dark and we arrived early morning.
I was so excited at first to stay at this hotel . The main reason I book it was the pool facilities , but is open to the public from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm only. During the day is open for swimming lessons to the public… terrible (guest should be priority) and this should be explain in advance. Also we came late and ask at the receptionist if there was mini bar in the room he says yes, but there was none. Not a big deal I told him I could go downstairs and get it , he says is ok I will bring it upstairs , guess what never show up . After an hour decided to call and I did call several times, he would not respond. So finally I decided to go downstairs and his excuse was “oh silly me I did take your order but forgot to ask for the room number” . Our minibar was not set there was no coffee in the room. I will never stay here again.
Good value for your money.
good location close to restaurants and bars. Hotel is a bit outdated and gym/pool can use improvements. But worth the value for what you pay.
The property at first glance is very nice. The main reason I chose to stay at this property and paid more than the other hotels was the rooftop terrace shown in pictures which was not available my entire stay. The front desk staff NICHOLAS was completely rude and condescending. He told us breakfast was not included even though it was bc I paid an additional $17 for it. Then he gave us a room that the ac was messed up and wouldnt believe us that it wasn't aorking even tho he went to check it himself he expected us to sleep there until the following morning when it was burning up in there and I was pregnant. We were switched from room to room. Told we would need to stay in the cheaper room since no other suite was available. Once i said well i would need a refund of the difference they found a suite to provide us. Santiago was the only one who actually took initiative to resolve our issue and treat us as paying guests should be treated. Nicholas never once apologized or even offered any type of accommodation for all the inconvenience instead we would come in and he wouldn't even talk to us as if it was our fault. I wouldn't recommend this hotel at all because of him. He ruined our entire stay by lying that breakfast wasn't included we found out the last day that i was indeed right i had paid an additional $17 for it. Also the switching of rooms we were flipped flopped back and forth to 3 rooms which is absolutely ridiculous especially when you are pregnant.
Old facilities
Would not stay in this area again .Dangerous
This area use to be great .I have home in Colombia. Very dangerous area at night .so many Venezuelan homeless and robbing in Colombia in tbis area bad .The hotel is understaffed very dirty .Feel sad for the front desk manager .Breakfast was good .I moved to Sonesta hotel in unicentral for another 5 days ..
Yes
All the above except snack or dinner facility closed very early. Arriving back later from meetings, forces to go to restaurants
Thanks to the reception desk to get us TWO small radiators… It was so cold!
Great location, good service and opposite and amazing coffee shop ( Cafe 18)
Hotel staff knock on your hotel door and if
Will always stay here when I’m Bogotá
Great Service and Location!! Ask for personalized tour service from Diego.
Excelente estadía
Nos ha encantado el servicio, la ubicación e instalaciones del hotel. Tanto que de vuelta a Bogotá nos quedaremso de buevo ahí. Gracias!
Good stay
What you expect from a Doubletree; clean, good service
Good hotel
The hotel staff was very nice, and the room was clean. The bed a too hard to sleep on and the water in the bathroom was wayyyy overprice while a bottle of water in a supermarket cost about $1USD the hotel charged almost $7 USD. Breakfast was ok (fruit, cereals, bread, eggs, etc)
Loved my stay
Loved it. Staff is amazing and super friendly. Rooms are great, area is great. Lovely stay.
Nice breakfast and near to my clients
Good property, cleaning staff was good, lady at front desk was very rude
Super good service and amazing hotel. They really give us a personal assistance and consideration. Very recommended hotel , we enjoyed their high quality and great service
Good stay, friendly staff
The neighbourhood doesn't have a lot to offer but it's safe to walk around and there are coffee shops and restaurants to choose from. The staff are friendly, place is clean. If you don't speak spanish, you may struggle a bit but the staff, mostly restaurant, can get by with some English and broken spanish (at least in my experience). This was my second stay here. Rooms are spacious and they come equipped with good amenities including hair dryer and iron.
An excellent option near Parque de la 93 which is a very nice area of town. Tons of nice restaurants within walking distance and a lot of commercial activity. The bar offers surprisingly good food if you don't feel like going out or sitting alone in the restaurant. Don't miss the Ceviche de Camaron or the Empanadas.
Junk hotel. Worth just $40/night
This is very old property. Not worth the name if hilton. Entrace is awkward and painful. Rooms are small. Bathrooms are old. Never again here
This is a great hotel- the rooms were comfortable, the business lounge access was really worth it (included free breakfast with eggs cooked to order and free drinks from 5-7 with an excellent little patio with a great view and excellent service). My air conditioner didn't work and they sent someone up to fix it - ultimately it took 3 tries, but they did fix it. Similarly the mini-fridge did not work so they immediately replaced it. I accidentally left something of value in the room after checking out and they found it immediately and offered to send it to the airport for me. Staff and service were really excellent.
perfect place nice bar, exceptional service from th employee
Room 433 and 271 hard uncomfortable mattress & Pillows. Also had a medical emergency & had to fly back from Bogota on Sun Mar 03 instead of Tues Mar 05. Paid any fees due and Lucero arranged for taxi to airport. Mar 03 Phoned and confirmed Room 433 not needed. BUT Travel.Guard said Hotel said room was occupied Mar 03 & 04 when we were already home. Also Expedia supervisor in Manila said the same. DISAPPOINTING & EXPENSIVE for Hilton Gold Member
A pleasant stay
The hotel is well located, the rooms are clean and comfortable, the porices are reasonable and the staff are very helpful with tours and other information. In all this is a hotel I would highly recommend to visitors to Colombia and to Bogotá.
Excellent stay
Excellent hotel with friendly service
Good stay
Beds are not comfortable, pillows are too soft. Weather was amazing and food nearby is amazing.
Good hotel
Hotel was adequate, but the rooms felt small. Good location.
Stay here!
This place is fabulous for anyone visiting Bogota for the first time - it’s clean, comfortable, located in a lively yet low-key neighborhood, and was affordable. Gorgeous views from the rooftop lounge, where they have a daily complimentary happy hour.
Very good business hotel with full service of spa, swimming pool, gym and restaurants
DoubleTree Bogota
Nice hotel at a good price. Customer service is also very good. Will be staying here on my future business trips to Bogota. Located in an area with many offices, very active during the day, and quiet at night. Good restaurant downstairs. Not many within walking distance.
Nice hotel close to restaurants and nightlife
Is a hotel with a good location and nice restaurant nearby
Great Location to Parque 93
The staff was super friendly and helpful!!! We wish that breakfast was included for the price we paid. Many other hotels include breakfast in this area at this price point.
Not a pleasant experience
I must say that the hotel is nice an comfortable, for the most part staff are polite and professional. We had a private dinner at the hotel restaurant and we’ve got excellent service. Night shift front desk was awesome but unfortunately a front desk woman from day shift wasn’t as nice as I would’ve expected, when she realized me and my wife were Colombian nationals after approaching her with a question about someone coming along to visit us for a couple hours she immediately gave us a cold shoulder and made us fell as second class guest. Personally I wouldn’t recomend this hotel to any of my friends because I found it ironic being in my own country and have been treated like that by some one who apparently is a forener working at the hotel. It’s a shame because everybody else was súper professional and polite. Would not go back though.
Good hotel close to Parque 93
Good located, comfortable, clearn and modern hotel with friendly stuff. The food in the hotel’s restorant is perfect. Internet was fast and stable.
Great hotel centraly located.
The hotel was very clean and the staff was superb.
Very nice hotel very safe area
Súper helpful staff and very acomodating My son loved the swimming pool
Very good place
