creepy guy followed us on the elevator and it was definitely a negative experience! but staff helped and escorted us to our room so that made it better.

It was okay

The front desk clerk was friendly. The room was very clean. The hotel overall was okay but there’s no pool!!. Just an oversized hot tub which is not the same especially if you have children. I stayed on New Year’s Eve. Booked to have a nice dinner at the restaurant’s hotel. And the service was terrible! I waited 1 hour to be asked what I wanted to drink and then another hour for the food to arrive and the restaurant was empty!! I honestly was so disappointed…prices were average and the drinks were a bit high for such service…I won’t go back there.

The room we stayed it was very spacious, clean and had a beautiful view. But we were kept up all night with a banging noise from above. We stayed two nights and both nights were kept awake. We were on floor 10 near the elevators. We were unsure if it was the windows the roof or the elevators. But I would not stay again on the same floor. We loved the connivence to downtown and the lovely lounge on second floor. The underground parking was heated and spacious.

The balcony door did not seal and we had such a bad draft in our room that I had foot cramps all nite. We had our temp cranked but it didn’t warm up till well after 2am, then the cleaning staff came in the next day and turned the heat down to 66 again. 😡we went into our vehicle and brought in the 3 blankets we had to stay warm. they were vacuuming the halls at mid nite. The shower head is at your waist and the bathroom door is a sliding glass door which is totally impractical for a family. My daughter witnessed a dude overdose out their window and be Carried out in a body bag. The restaurant staff were rude, accused customers of lying what their order was, and wouldn’t fix orders for people with food sensitivities and allergies. Your only option is to pay $35 a day for parking bc it’s in a sketchy part of town and breakfast is $15/person. And they didn’t refill toilet paper or Kleenex.

The fridge did not work and the room took forever to heat up.

I liked the location and it was a quiet place. However, they only have underground parking that you pay for it.

There was poop on the toilet seat when we arrived and nothing looked very clean. Everything around the hotel was very run down. The room we were in had a joint door to the next room making the fights the couple had next door even louder all night. The elevator sometimes took 5 minutes to arrive. The bar was incredibly slow. It took 45 minutes to get one drink and pay where I had to constantly remind them we wanted to leave and needed the bill. Nothing convenient is around the hotel so you're stuck with this bar and the bad staff. I will definitely never stay here again.

There was no water provided in the room yet. Coffee machine and no way to access drinking water. The fridge was off and warm. The initial instructions we received at the desk were overwhelming, we were told every piece of information at once and no guide to reference. Rodrigo was fairly blunt and communication was challenging. The fact we were the only ones at dinner and breakfast didn’t bode well.

Even though check in was at 3 we didn’t get a room till after 6 pm.

Underground parking

Fantastic stay at this hotel. I appreciated how clean it was. When we entered our room, immediately, it smelt really clean! Staff was very friendly as well. The only thing that I would change is that the air vent (heating) made quite a loud sound in room 725. Would definitely stay here again.

Check-in was easy and quick, which was nice, however, our room was missing one of the full length mirror, which made it difficult for two people to get ready at once. You could see the outline of where the mirror once was, but it was just never replaced. Getting into the parking garage was scary and a very tight squeeze. One of us had to get out to direct the other and we had less than an inch on each side.

Terrible place to stay hot tub didn’t work service was bad and a terrible entrance to the underground parking. If you’re in a pickup it will take a couple turns to get out of the door before it comes down on you.

Wha i did not like was the parking, not bigger doors and entrees to parking but was taken to a spot right away where it was convenient, staff was excellent in assisting

I’ve already shared how disappointed in this stay. I specifically booked because of the hot tub and on check in I was told it was not on service. I should’ve been given the heads up because I would’ve booked it a different hotel.

The hotel itself was great. I upgraded to the underground parking which was hard to get into, but worth it as the location is not in the best part of downtown. I never felt unsafe, but could see how a person would feel uncomfortable in the area

We had the most friendliest staff from front desk, housekeeping, food services! The room was fantastic and spacious. For us the beds were way to soft and not great pillows - but thats a personal thing. The food was delicious in the restaurant. We would definitely book at the DoubleTree again. Parking - was great to have underground but gotta tell you that entrance into the parkade was not meant for the faint of heart if you have a larger vehicle But we truly enjoyed everything about our stay

It was a good stay, the only thing was we were an hour and a bit early and they said our room wasn’t ready. It was disheartening to watch other people check in early one desk over. The staff gave us a cookie as a compensation, which was a bit weird

Very nice property. Staff are friendly! The cookies are delicious!! 😋 The parking garage entry is a bit tight, not ideal for trucks but easily accessible for smaller vehicles.

We stayed in room number 315 and it wasn't cleaned properly before check in. One glass piece poked on my wife's heel. Again next day morning we found few more glass piece near live in sofa. Definitely they need to concentrate on cleaning.

Parking is $32 per night, but you need to park in the parkade for the safety of your vehicle. Getting in and out of the parkade isnt the greatest... so good luck Hotel was clean, front was clean, room was very spacious. Pricey when you add parking.

The elevators weren't working. Many guests were trying to get to their rooms. Doors in the stairways were locked so it was extremely inconvenient

Thought the room conditions was poor for being a suite booking. Particles on the walls, the shower was leaking pretty bad. The desk chair was in very poor condition.

They did not have the room we booked, which turned out ok because they upgraded us. However there was banging all night from above or beside us. The hotel looked very sketchy as half of it was all boarded up. And our window got smashed in the parking lot.

I booked this hotel as we were going to sporting event nearby, and a big plus for me was the breakfast convenience, I thought perfect my kids can eat the Continental breakfast before their sport event at 8am, it’s going to be great. But when we went down at 7:30am, they said they got rid of that 3 months ago! Then when are you using that photo on your site and advertising you have it? I had to go out of my way to stop somewhere else which was not in my plans and was a huge inconvenience. Not to mention trying to drive into the parking garage is horrible unless you have a small car, while it is possible you need to be very careful as it is angled and very difficult. The staff is friendly, and the warm cookies they provide you when you check in are delicious. Just the terrible parking and inconvenience of the non existent included breakfast. Oh yes and our lamp would randomly start flashing in the middle of the night between 3-5 am, i had to wake up and unplug it for it to finally stop. If you don’t mind not having an included breakfast, and terrible parking but enjoy a warm cookie upon check in, then this is the hotel for you.

beautiful spacious room was lovely - windows don't open though.., no chocolate chip cookies as promised - either time we asked ... ? one answer was "it was too late?" the other was "it is too early?" parking is really expensive the rooms were clean enough but the walls needed wiping down ... strange red substance on wall by bed super comfortable bed and luscious pillows!! only two paper cups for morning brew no kettle available restaurant and lounge just gorgeous and comfortable- food really expensive (?$12 oatmeal? seriously?) soap and shower amenities excellent- lovely scent and even body lotion!!! housekeeping staff were marvellous overall - would stay again

Nice place, new and fresh. Great lobby. Great staff. Lovely large room. But... the reason they can get away with charging an obscene $32 for overnight underground parking despite many cheap paid lots right next to the hotel, is because this is a BAD area. You really don't want to leave your car unattended. So, the hotel can charge what it wants. If you're not parking, this is a superior hotel.

Disappointing lack of sanitation options in the fitness facility. No cleaner or wipes on any of the 4 days I stayed at the hotel. Even after I let the front desk know, they still didn't have any cleaner the next day. The same thing happened last time I stayed there. But I assumed it was just an oversight that time.

There is not much in this area. There are closed down buildings and some homeless right outside. The room size was great and well appointed and while the bathroom was huge it didn’t offer much more than space the bathtub was super tiny. They also forgot to put towels in the bathroom and only gave us decaf coffee. However when we called for service it was addressed immediately and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful💙

Our stay at the double tree in Downtown Edmonton was amazing. The staff were very friendly and accommodating and went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and satisfied with our stay! Would definitely recommend this hotel and stay here again.

Rooms are nice, parking garage is terrifying when you pay for underground parking (wouldn’t park outside hotel due to area), it does get expensive. If walking in a group would be safe to go to stadium however, not an area I would walk alone.

It was ok. The rooms are nice and very clean. Front desk staff so so. One man was awesome. One woman was almost rude, one other man, I felt I was bothering him. It's convenient to what I needed otherwise I'd go elsewhere.

Not the quality i was expecting

32 dollars a day to park your vehicle is insane. Elevator and room door key scanner took forever to read cards to do anything. The bed was super comfy and staff was great. Breakfast was horrible the pancakes were the worse thing i have ever ate and would have preferred the frozen microwave garbage ones i buy for my kids. Nothing had any flavor everything tasted like flavorless water. Was super disappointed and way way over priced.

Staff was excellent. Everyone I came into contact with were kind and accommodating. The entryway, restaurant, and gym were absolutely beautiful. The room was, well the room was motel 6 on an interstate highway. Filled with wasted space, dirty, and out dated. HD TV with a 20 year old SD cable system, with the TV only visible from one of the beds. Alarm clock without so much as a radio, speakers or a docking station to connect anything with music. Hair left in the sink, on the pillows, sticky stains on the floor, and carpet worn and pulled out from the dividers. Was impressed at night as we had a room with a balcony, until the morning when we saw it was covered in moss, and instead of putting a balcony on the next room, they just left it as a debris collecting eyesore. The phone in the room to contact room or concierge service was only functional on speaker phone, not that it mattered because there was no one on the other side to pick up. I feel like I could go on, but to wrap up: pretty on the outside, motel 6 on the inside

Checked in at 3:30 pm and room wasn’t ready. Had to stand in long line again later to finally get our room. This delay put us behind schedule .

We have stayed here before however we were in town this time for a big concert nearby. We arrived around 4:30pm and there were no rooms ready for us. We had to wait an hour to get into a room. There was also no hotel parking left so we had to park across the street at an impark. We were able to get a later check out the next day which was ok.

The food was really awful… we ate breakfast because we were tired. Eggs were cold, assuage smelly and not well done, waffles served with no fruits even tho we asked for some…
