Very convenient.

Enjoyed a night out with my wife.

The room was great but unfortunately we had to evacuate for a fire alarm at 1235 am... we are traveling with a 3 yr old so it was inconvenient.

We checked in at 4pm.. I complained that there wasn’t a bedding in the couch mattress.. They expected us to sleep on a mattress without a fitted sheet, then said it would take until 830pm for one to be clean for the bedroom.

There were no cookies

You get a warm cookie at check-in!

The location of the hotel is great and the cookie you get at check in is the best part! It was kept in a warmer and was perfect! The room deposit isn’t huge and was refunded to my car before I made it out of the hotel.

Loved the comfy beds and large room with sofa. Beautiful new building but the area a few blocks away reveals homeless ppl. Although we didn’t have any problems from them.

Convenient to rogers place. Staff friendly and accommodating.

Excellent hotel to stay in Edmonton

My stay was amazing, alone time from home and work to recharge with friends. The front desk lady was superb, she made check in and check out process easy and very kind and caring. She asked how my evening was at an event I attended which made it personable. She was the highlight of the great service given. I will continue to stay at this hotel. Every time I’m in Edmonton, this is my go to place to stay. Excellent job!

Hot tub was nice and relaxing. Room was clean. Plus you get a warm cookie!!

The service was great!

I tried to cancel my booking once I arrived at the hotel. Unfortunately they do not show the homeless and drug addicts filling the sidewalks around the facility.

Not what I want to see after a long work day

I have stayed at this hotel in the past without complaint. It is a rougher neighborhood with many street people in the area but I would deal with that to stay in a newer, clean and well maintained hotel. Unfortunately the hotel is not being well maintained. The hallway outside my room did not look Like it had been vacuumed in days. Basic things like replace the worn and grimy “clean” stickers throughout room…. The room carpet also had bits of debris (get staff a decent vacuum or train them to use it). Bathroom shower has mildew and walls in room had sticky marks from previous guests. This is after I changed rooms due to other peoples hair in bathroom. The young staff were nice and apologetic but hotel is not being managed well. I travel regularly on business and cleanliness is my biggest concern on any hotel whether it be a 2 or 5 star. Regrettably, I will not be back.

Was very clean, inviting and the front desk staff were very friendly and polite. The $35 per night parking charge seemed a bit much, however I can understand it.

Clean and big rooms

The area was littered with crack heads. You definitely want to pay for the parking garage unless you want your vehicle broke in to. We asked for non feather pillows 2 with no results , finally the 3rd time we got the pillows at 11pm at night. The room was clean but average at best.

Really good stay, nice spacious room. Staff were really good, great cookies! Nice and close to Roger’s. We had oversized truck so couldn’t park underground, parked in adjacent parking lot instead. The parking pay app wasn’t working so got a $90 ticket.

This hotel is a don’t judge a book by its cover! When we arrived we turned down the outer side next to a shelter, the management team decided to use plain worn plywood to cover the windows on that side of the building. One would think the hotel was abandoned closed down if you never went in front of the building. Not sure why the owner didn’t feel this amazing little establishment should be neglected like this. I for one would have certainly show cased my establishment with material that would have been more pleasing to the visual eye. Perhaps investing into material that would have made this place pop siding or stucco better options. When you walk inside it’s immaculately clean, staff are super friendly eager to please their guest, the rooms beautifully spacious and the dining experience amazing great tasting food! Message to the owner you have a gold mind here with amazing staff invest in your outside property don’t get petty because the city isn’t helping you with the exterior issues. Instead rise above it and look for alternative ways to showcase your property so your customers feel comfortable and safe staying in your establishment.

Only stayed one night but super easy, only piss off was the sharp 4pm check in but that was only if you talked to the one person the other 2 were letting you check in prior to 4pm

Great staff and clean

The staff were polite and made the process of checking in and out quick and easy. I would have hoped for easier access to water, a single water bottle in our room would have made a big difference.

Hotel is really nice. The rooms are great and very clean and spacious. The bar is beautiful and the bar staff were outstanding. The breakfast buffet was OK. There was one particular staff member that was a little aggressive and abrupt. The area is a little sketchy. Walking around the area was not the most comfortable experience. One side of the building is boarded up and I am not quite sure what that was all about.

Overall the stay was pleasant and relaxing and the staff were great. I don't appreciate the corporate nickle and diming...$35 plus tax for parking is outrageous.

Breakfast as not included as stated. Other than that it was a beautiful hotel with underground parking, but you have to pay for parking, it was not included. Lovely staff though. It's in a sketchy part of Downtown Edmonton, when we arrived there was a firetruck and Ambulance on the same block dealing with an overdose. The next day there was a fight so we had to walk 6 blocks out of the way to avoid it. Yikes!

I feel safe and the underground parking was really awesome

I checked in and had to check out within just 20 minutes. From the moment we arrived, the front desk staff set the tone—no smile, no enthusiasm, and an attitude that made it seem like he hated his job. As a guest, a warm welcome goes a long way, but unfortunately, that was missing here. I had specifically booked an accessible room, but the room we were given had a bathtub instead of a walk-in shower. Accessible means accommodating those who cannot step into a tub, yet the front desk guy insisted this was correct. My wife, who requires a truly accessible shower, had no way to use it. With no alternative offered, we had no choice but to check out within 20 minutes. This is a big issue but another thing to mention. As a Hilton Honors member, I am familiar with the DoubleTree cookies served at all locations. Here, we were given cookies with nuts, and when questioned, we were told it was standard. I can’t verify that, but we had to discard them.

This is my second stay at this property. I requested a different floor because of the noise on 10. But the 11th floor kept us up all night with a banging noise.

creepy guy followed us on the elevator and it was definitely a negative experience! but staff helped and escorted us to our room so that made it better.

The front desk clerk was friendly. The room was very clean. The hotel overall was okay but there’s no pool!!. Just an oversized hot tub which is not the same especially if you have children. I stayed on New Year’s Eve. Booked to have a nice dinner at the restaurant’s hotel. And the service was terrible! I waited 1 hour to be asked what I wanted to drink and then another hour for the food to arrive and the restaurant was empty!! I honestly was so disappointed…prices were average and the drinks were a bit high for such service…I won’t go back there.

The room we stayed it was very spacious, clean and had a beautiful view. But we were kept up all night with a banging noise from above. We stayed two nights and both nights were kept awake. We were on floor 10 near the elevators. We were unsure if it was the windows the roof or the elevators. But I would not stay again on the same floor. We loved the connivence to downtown and the lovely lounge on second floor. The underground parking was heated and spacious.

The balcony door did not seal and we had such a bad draft in our room that I had foot cramps all nite. We had our temp cranked but it didn’t warm up till well after 2am, then the cleaning staff came in the next day and turned the heat down to 66 again. 😡we went into our vehicle and brought in the 3 blankets we had to stay warm. they were vacuuming the halls at mid nite. The shower head is at your waist and the bathroom door is a sliding glass door which is totally impractical for a family. My daughter witnessed a dude overdose out their window and be Carried out in a body bag. The restaurant staff were rude, accused customers of lying what their order was, and wouldn’t fix orders for people with food sensitivities and allergies. Your only option is to pay $35 a day for parking bc it’s in a sketchy part of town and breakfast is $15/person. And they didn’t refill toilet paper or Kleenex.

The fridge did not work and the room took forever to heat up.

I liked the location and it was a quiet place. However, they only have underground parking that you pay for it.

There was poop on the toilet seat when we arrived and nothing looked very clean. Everything around the hotel was very run down. The room we were in had a joint door to the next room making the fights the couple had next door even louder all night. The elevator sometimes took 5 minutes to arrive. The bar was incredibly slow. It took 45 minutes to get one drink and pay where I had to constantly remind them we wanted to leave and needed the bill. Nothing convenient is around the hotel so you're stuck with this bar and the bad staff. I will definitely never stay here again.

Property was clean, breakfast was limited. Parking entrance is very awkward. did damage to my rent a car due to the odd parking entrance.

There was no water provided in the room yet. Coffee machine and no way to access drinking water. The fridge was off and warm. The initial instructions we received at the desk were overwhelming, we were told every piece of information at once and no guide to reference. Rodrigo was fairly blunt and communication was challenging. The fact we were the only ones at dinner and breakfast didn’t bode well.

Even though check in was at 3 we didn’t get a room till after 6 pm.

Underground parking

Fantastic stay at this hotel. I appreciated how clean it was. When we entered our room, immediately, it smelt really clean! Staff was very friendly as well. The only thing that I would change is that the air vent (heating) made quite a loud sound in room 725. Would definitely stay here again.

Check-in was easy and quick, which was nice, however, our room was missing one of the full length mirror, which made it difficult for two people to get ready at once. You could see the outline of where the mirror once was, but it was just never replaced. Getting into the parking garage was scary and a very tight squeeze. One of us had to get out to direct the other and we had less than an inch on each side.

Never staying here again

Terrible place to stay hot tub didn’t work service was bad and a terrible entrance to the underground parking. If you’re in a pickup it will take a couple turns to get out of the door before it comes down on you.

Wha i did not like was the parking, not bigger doors and entrees to parking but was taken to a spot right away where it was convenient, staff was excellent in assisting

I’ve already shared how disappointed in this stay. I specifically booked because of the hot tub and on check in I was told it was not on service. I should’ve been given the heads up because I would’ve booked it a different hotel.

The hotel itself was great. I upgraded to the underground parking which was hard to get into, but worth it as the location is not in the best part of downtown. I never felt unsafe, but could see how a person would feel uncomfortable in the area

We had the most friendliest staff from front desk, housekeeping, food services! The room was fantastic and spacious. For us the beds were way to soft and not great pillows - but thats a personal thing. The food was delicious in the restaurant. We would definitely book at the DoubleTree again. Parking - was great to have underground but gotta tell you that entrance into the parkade was not meant for the faint of heart if you have a larger vehicle But we truly enjoyed everything about our stay

It was a good stay, the only thing was we were an hour and a bit early and they said our room wasn’t ready. It was disheartening to watch other people check in early one desk over. The staff gave us a cookie as a compensation, which was a bit weird

Very nice property. Staff are friendly! The cookies are delicious!! 😋 The parking garage entry is a bit tight, not ideal for trucks but easily accessible for smaller vehicles.

Room was freezing heat was off. Elevators not working. Hotel is generally not well kept. Area very sketchy.

We stayed in room number 315 and it wasn't cleaned properly before check in. One glass piece poked on my wife's heel. Again next day morning we found few more glass piece near live in sofa. Definitely they need to concentrate on cleaning.
