I recently had the pleasure of staying at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Ahmedabad, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. From the moment I arrived, the warm hospitality was evident. A special shout-out to Neha at the front desk, who went above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect. Her professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine friendliness made all the difference. Neha handled all my queries with ease and provided helpful recommendations that enhanced my trip. The hotel itself is fantastic, with modern amenities, comfortable rooms, and a welcoming atmosphere. The warm cookie at check-in was a delightful touch! I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Ahmedabad, and I look forward to staying here again. Very clean by American standards. Quite new as well. There are no communal places to eat as the cafe and restaurant are strict about only consuming their own food at the tables.

Enjoyed short stay in the hotel. Was clean and staff were helpful. Wasn’t impressed by some of the guests standing and eating around the buffet food when there were tables available. It seemed as they were business guests so the hotel staff allowed them to stand there instead of asking them to take a seat.

Reasonably priced. Good property. Require little more maintenance. BF spread was descent. Service was good.

The hotel was great, located on a major intersection near the ISKON temple road (and that area has many restaurants and shops), the room was furnished nice and comfortable, the food options (in-room dining, cafe, and restaurant) were nice, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Enjoyed the stay!

Air conditioning doesn't work properly in hotel

The air-conditioning didn't work properly on a hot summer day. They changed three rooms and it seemed like the air conditioning across the hotel didn't work. The staff was argumentative about the air conditioning and insisted it worked. The AC thermostat was stuck on 23.5 and didn't reduce after half an hour. I then asked them to get the air temperature gauge and it showed that their air conditioning was giving out air at approx 26 degrees celcius in all rooms. I eventually checked out in an hour and went to the Taj closeby. See photos attached.

Good location, excellent customer service

Customer service is excellent, breakfast was nice, location is great, hotel claims to be a 5 star but the rooms don’t justify the 5 star tag, A/c vents are dirty and rooms have musty smell, had to change room the same night due to the bad odor from the vents since we had a baby less than a year old, the manager was kind and helped us change the room upstairs since it was available, the rooms however needs to have A/c tune up or replaced

Top notch service. Only complaint I have is the fridge in my room didn’t work and I had to have my beers warm (which was a whole another process to get)

Bathroom sink was not working. Was just a night stay but that did matter. Staff was very friendly, and room was also great.

The buffet dinner was disappointing considering the price that it charges.

No way I can suggest someone to stay in this hotel. Reception desk service is horrible and no clarity or very poor communication skills.

There was nothing unique in this property. Can get better property at better price than Hilton. Breakfast was was average nothing extra ordinary. Housekeeping was not upto mark. Only good part was service in Restaurant.

for a booking for 2 people, room only had preparation for a single person (towel, slippers, etc). Bathroom wall was dusty, decor had stained walls with paper peeling in places, carpet had a raised bumps in places. cafe overrated and expensive

G. Day guys. I had stayed here with family the stay is the best among u had stayed in last 6 years. Starting from entrance to breakfast buffet, hotel boys the best . Swimming pool superb. Food superb . bathrooms better then anywhere in the world wow. Special shout out room cleaners rabi and hansraj . When we were back in hotel at night it was so set like a new room all aligned . Hotel stay is safe sound proof rooms . I had a sound sleep at night becausse of sound proof glasses. My words !Stay there you will not regret at all!!!

Property is not that great and good is below average. All the time lobby is full of outsiders with no place for hotel guests to sit.

The bathrooms and common areas were so dirty. the breakfast area was dirty.

The rooms were dirty and shower was broken. Water from the shower head would spray directly into a light socket above causing an electrocution hazard. The room smelled of smoke. There were holes in the headboard. The staff was friendly but limited in information and help.

Amazing experience. Room were neat and clean and senatize. Staff is courteous, special mention Bharat who helped us in breakfast area, and Praful who helped us during checkout process. We asked for a room having good view, they gave us sunerise view at 10 floor.

One of the best hotels we have stayed in our recent traveling in India. The building is very unique looking and room was specious and had all the amenities. Hospitality of everyone on duty was praise worthy. Breakfast buffet was amazing, varieties of healthy food, North Indian food, South Indian dishes, Gujarati food, pastries, cereals, fresh juices and fresh fruits. Chef Anit made some special dishes for us when we were not feeling well. Staff was very friendly and very attentive. Would love to stay there in future. The only thing missing was mirror outside the bathroom. The room definitely needs full size mirror, which will be helpful.

The room size, amenities, the food, room service, and customer service are excellent and beyond expectations. Thanks to the Assistant Manager Bishal Rajak for stepping up and going extra miles in resolving issues to our satisfaction. He deserves commendations.

Front Desk staff needs training. Poorly managed . The staff is busy entire day on their personal mobile phones and do not care about customers.

I liked the location, entrance, exit, security, and the food. I didn’t like the hallway smell.

Good food with so many choices. Safety and security is being taken care of regularly.

We reached the hotel earlier than check in time. Hemanthi managed to get us a room early. Also we managed to get breakfast late because they kept it open a bit later than their time of closing. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

We stayed in the hotel for two nights in Dec . Quality of Servvice was outstanding! Sivanki and kaustuv were amazing! We will definitely would like to come back and stay here in case an opportunity to visit Ahmedabad arises in future. Food quality was also very good. Overall would give ten out of ten for the experience!

I gifted a night stay to my friend as his first wedding night, and he was really happy.
