The Domina Coral Bay Sharm el Sheik was amazing in everyway possible., from the moment we got there I felt at ease safe looked after, the food was excellent, the diving and snorkeling was amazing, dive staff out of this world ❣️. Going back asap

Excellent Family Sunny Christmas

Amazing - free upgraded room to Kings Lake - so many beaches lagoons/pool's to sit at excellent sun beds, snorkelling very easy and stunning coral (take your own mask etc). Weather perfect. Food and bars - some restrictions to All Inc but once you work it out find your fav - breakfast in Garden rest. for us and Dinner at Spices. Bars, we liked the sunset beach bar and roof top evening bar - Alisia hotel lobby for evening cards if bit cold to sit out. Free golf cart taxis to get around. Stunning landscapes/gardens and lots of happy cats. Take own plastic glass (didn’t like the paper cups) and no tonic - easy to solve with onsite supermarket. Staff all very lovely friendly and courteous. It is a mainly Italian resort (chain) Red Sea meets Med vibe.

Domina Coral Bay Resort is a nice spot to stay. The rooms are spacious and tidy, and the staff are friendly and helpful. The views are beautiful, perfect for photos. The pool is enjoyable, and the beach is nearby for swimming. The food is decent, with some tasty options. Overall, it’s a great choice for families and couples looking to unwind.

Third time at Elisir and still impressed. Room, food, pool and beach all good. Added bonus spa and gym makes this resort great value for money. Got one voucher for al a carte restaurant this time, last time got two? Overall stay excellent. Would recommend to others.

Poor food choice, terrible customer service, cleaning was not good, range of drinks appaling, extra charges everywhere, no understanding on vegetarian or vegan, chefs don’t know what is in the food they have cooked. Snacks were shameful. All inclusive was not all inclusive, worst one we have been too! Only 1 indoor bar, only italian entertainment. Not 5* false advertising for other hotels!

Top preferred hotel in sharm el sheikh

Advantages: Mostly everything was good, staff are nice and funny, transportation is available around the hotel, facilities are good too, many swimming pool options and a bar is available too on the pool, beach is super nice and beautiful. Disadvantages: rooms are pretty small and old, no hot water in the bath, AC is very old and for the first two days it wasn't working at all, there was no elevators in our building, we had to go 3 levels up walking, food is normal nothing special, sometimes taxi’s are not allowed inside, it depends on the security’s mood. I asked and paid for a room with sea and pool view but what i got was a room with a big tree view, I barely saw anything else. But everything else was good and nice, we enjoyed the stay and mostly the beach and pool area which are the most important thing for me in this trip. I recommend this hotel if you want to enjoy the beach activities and only use the room for sleeping.

Nice experience

The gate keeper asked me for a card that you supposed to show to leave , almost like your in prison. Told him they gave me the card and didn't tell me any thing or what it's used for. The guy even cussed me out when I left and I could hear him but I my taxi was here and I needed to leave. U feel the staff in hotel are less trained, under stress and very casual.

The beach is amazing and the wifi is good, but every thing else is average including food and animation team compared to other teams in different hotels. Its all inclusive but with rules like where u can eat or what to drink. Also leaving and coming in the hotel is terrible, they don't let the taxi in because they want you to use their own limo. Food options are available for extra only. From the first day u feel there is difference in treatment. Also there is a disco that is the worst place to be in sharm. Idk how this supposed to be best hotel in 2024. It's only the beach and pools are nice but that's it.

If you are English steer clear. Staff are polite but very limited English and frankly they can’t be bothered. Checked in but no details on where we could eat or drink so all inclusive we ended up paying for dinner the first night as the not included cafe has the same name as the hidden included restaurant in the same area. Couldn’t order room service as no one spoke English to take the order. The pool view was the pool that was closed and had diggers working all day and into the night at about 3am for the first 3 nights with a crane working the last night for the big finish. Pool opened for half a day then closed again for another day. Reception area is a disgrace, couldn’t care less and shockingly bad at answering questions, made me wonder if the staff were all new! 1 person doing check in while half a dozen others watched. I wouldn’t come back here if it was free. Literally the worst hotel I have been too which is a shame as the hotel itself could be nice if it had any organisation

This was a really nice resort, the staff here are very friendly and every where was very clean. They had shuttle bus running around the resort and various entertainment and water sports going on. I would definitely stay here again

VERY SLY AND CHEAP HOTEL. FALSE ADVERTISING !

This hotel was one of the strangest experiences I’ve had of a “All inclusive resort”. It has been extremely tactically planned so that you continue spending EXTRA MONEY every minute of your every single day. The owner is extremely cheap and tries to fleece you for every single last cent. Things are kilometres apart, so you either have to wait for the communal buggy in 40 degree weather (where there is ALWAYS ZERO WIND or PAY for your own buggy. I have never seen a WORSE “all inclusive” bar in my life before. They have placed it in a DARK DINGY spot with NO MUSIC or atmosphere, whereas the bar where you are made to PAY for drinks is where the live music is. The food isn’t good, very few options, very bland pasta, a bit like a school cafeteria or prison.. and guess what ? You have to PAY for all the other restaurants where food is good. On the beach you are sat in different seating areas for the peasants and the people who PAY. On the beach you are made to walk extra far if you do not PAY for the drinks. It is sold as extreme luxury , however they still have the SAME curtains and chairs in every single room from 30 YEARS AGO. Hahahahahahha There is even a divide with the POOLS, you have to pay extra to go to the big fancy pool. You are NOT EVEN allowed to order your own taxis inside the Hotel Hahhahahahaha !!! You are made to use theirs. UNHEARD OF !! All the staff were really nice and helpful. I have never ever in my life seen anything like it. Pathetic !!!

There is great entertainment at Domina however it is all in Italian language. So that was a big problem for me as an English speaker. Variety of dining options. Beautiful spa, worth visiting the hot pools.

I booked to stay at this hotel for one week unfortunately I had to leave because of a bereavement back home I only stayed for two days the staff was not helpful one bit and haven’t offered a refund for the rest of my stay!

Beautiful place wonderful staff

First night when I arrived at 1 am, the AC was broken. They fixed it at 4 am. The first room I got had bad bathroom, they changed it after 2 days and after multiple requests. Staff very friendly but their service is slow. Other than that, everything is amazing, views, entertainment options, transportation, food. Very helpful when you need information. I wish they work better on their rooms service

Has improved noticeably for the last 2years. Has been renovated. Great service , absolute care for the guests. Quality, well prepared food for any tastes. Top quality a la carte restaurants. One shortage: no horn in the room for shoes.

Oteli herşey dahil paket olarak aldık ama alakası yoktu. Tesiste birçok güzel bar restoran plaj olmasına rağmen herşey ekstraydı. pakete dahil olan barlarda hem çok uzaktı hem de sadece tadı kötü meyvesuları veya kola vardı.. yemekler çok kötüydü. Yemekler Türkiyedeki 3 yıldızlı bir otele bile denk gelmezdi. Herşey dahil konsept nasıl olur öğrenmeleri lazım …gerçekten hayal kırıklığına uğradık. Çalışanlar ingilizce bilmiyordu. Akşamları Çok ciddi bir sivrisinek sorunu vardı. Son olarak domina saati diye cok saçma bir uygulamaları vardı..sürekli karışıklığa sebep olan bu uygulamanın sebebini anlayamadık? Buna karşılık denizi çok güzeldi.temizlik iyiydi..otel olanakları iyiydi..

This resort is massive, have to walk a lot of mikes, or be located on the route for taftaf, electric carts. This place is mainly frequented by Italians and Russians. Restaurants are all buffet style and very expensive. They have monopoly over transportation in and out of the resort which is 5x more expensive than the average taxi rates. I was put in a room at one corner of the resort and had to walk 15-20 mins to the main beach. When I asked to be moved to a central location, I was told to come tomorrow. Went tomorrow and they said they don’t have rooms available. Far away from the city and almost all excursions are double what other tour companies offer, which the same service.

Rested with my wife for 10 days in Prestige. The staff is friendly, always smiling and ready to help at any moment. Special thanks to Said and the team (Prestige Beach), Mostafa and the team (Plaisers), all the guys at La Terrazza. Thanks to the room cleaner Muhamed (kind and helpful person). Friendly staff, very big resort , food variety is good. However they were doing renovation to other close rooms with plenty of noise and the extra bed wasn't comfortable.

WORSE EXPERIENCE EVER. Very unhappy since the moment we walked in. Took over 2 hours for check in. Staff didn’t speak english and NO ONE ever understood what we would say. We got the “all inclusive “ and when dining in their “coral restaurant all inclusive” during breakfast the server was rude and said they could make scrambled eggs since the line was super long. AS IF I DIDNT WAIT PATIENTLY FOR MY TURN. do not go here . Do not recommend

Weathered.

The property is a little out dated and weathered. The services were limited and slow. Breakfast buffet, although free for us was disappointing with limited options. Food in the restaurants came out pretty quick but certain items were available for example; espresso at their Italian restaurant?? Ice cream at Ali baba etc.

Huge development property. Good range of activities and amenities. Needs continuous travel using internal shuttle lines. Use of some petrol busses was not great. The local reef was highly damaged

Very spacious, but the bathroom was very disgusting. Nothing to clean the shower with and smell at night was horrible. As well as it wasn’t 24 hour drinks or 24 hour food on the food was not great a tall was sick twice.

Very beautiful experience

The Domina Coral Bay Resort is a huge and beautiful setting with lovely beaches and pools etc. However, it is a rundown, second-rate property overall. Rooms had really shoddy beds and furniture and were old and dilapidated. Bathrooms were old and not that pleasant to be in.

Nice place to stay. Just be aware English is not spoken much here and communication can be challenging. Would I stay here again….YES

Dirtiest hotel in Sharm El Sheick

Hotels full of mosquitoes, old fashion. Room opens with old stick keys like in my grandma house. Dirty towels, TV of 1950. It’s not definitely a 5 star hotel.

We loved that this place was quiet and we were able to relax from a very exhausting trip through Egypt

They left us waiting tow hours till they help us in our room . Bed is hard and not comfortable, very large area special at night not enough light we got lost many time . Staff doesn’t care.

Stay away

One of the worst experiences money could buy the hotel is massive it's like a small city and has alot to offer reason for my poor review is how terrible the management of the property is , inorder to go anywhere ( pool , beach , restaurant)you have to wait for a rundown old buses that smells of burnt gas and people cramped up in as nothing is a walking distance . Rooms are spacious however they're nothing like the pictures they feel really dated and smelly with an old 90s crt tv Reception line is almost non existent you have to take a ride for around 30 mins roundtrip to ask the reception for anything when I tried calling non stop they would lift the earpiece then hang up All inclusive here is a total failure the food variety is very poor and meats are served halfway cooked and I repeat no service whatsoever you have to walk for a while when you're on the beach to get any drinks unless you pay extra to go to a near bar I usually don't write reviews but I really did cause I don't want people to fall for this hotel cause I've seen multiple 10 star reviews for it which clearly it doesn't deserve for the money you'll find way more better and clean options in sharm Al shaikh

Italian massive hotel complex

There are 7 hotels in this complex. They cater to mass Itakian tours and dont really speak English. Lovely setting. They do this all inclusive then an extra special club that you have to pay extra for. No entertainment unless you paid. Great facilities but not good if you cannot walk. All affected by Russian war in Ukraine as empty.

The place is beautiful and has amazing energy and location on the Red Sea the beach and the coral I can’t describe the beauty . Staff and management are fantastic and very pleasant Heated pool with lot of activities and amazing night show . Hussen the house keeper has done the most beautiful job in decorating the room and crating romantic atmosphere to us We had magical time and will return soon I highly recommend that anyone should see and stay in this place It’s one of my favorite places now in Sharm El Sheikh

A fantastic stay - it is our go to Hotel - reception were extremely helpful - Hani the manager of Prestige restaurant was both personal and professional. The beach restaurant also was really upmarket - a four course lunch with linen napkins. So good we have recommended it to two other couples who have since booked. To quote Mr Schwarzenegger “We will be back”

Great Service

From the moment we landed, the staff at Domina Prestige made sure we were taken care of! The staff was fantastic and very helpful. We enjoyed the food at the Italian restaurant and the Prestige beach restaurant. The Prestige beach is well taken care of and the snorkelling off the dock was great!

Some Villas are quite a distance to amenities

I spent three days diving which was very nice and friendly staff. My only bug bear was the lack of local shopping facilities

Top notch hotel with the most helpful staff.

Everyone was helpful and wanted us to enjoy our stay. The atmosphere in the restaurants and around the pool and beach was one of friendliness and comfort. There are seven hotels in the complex of which the Prestige is the best. There was space for everyone around the pools and the beaches: no us dignified scramble for sun beds. This is a top class hotel with no stuffiness. The sea view room we occupied was very big, had a comfortable balcony with a proper view of the sea ( no standing on tiptoe and peering round a corner to glimpse the sea.) This holiday was fantastic value for money.

Wonderful hotel with private pool and beach

Had another fantastic stay at the Domina Prestige - this was our third visit and everything was as great as on our previous visits. We stayed in a sea view room which truly did have a magnificent view over the pool outside the window and out to sea. The pool was lovely - quiet and peaceful and the beach (which was 5 min walk from our room) was equally good - the variety of fish we saw while snorkelling from the jetty was amazing. Without a doubt though the best thing about this hotel though is the staff and the exceptional service they provide. From the complimentary drinks at the pool and beach to the golf buggies to drive you around if you don't want to walk - nothing is too much trouble. In particular Magdy and his staff in Plaisirs restaurant are unbeatable and really go out of their way to make your stay special.

Fantastic in every way!

The only drawback is that it is in the southern Sinai peninsula. Great if you are in the Middle East or Europe, but not so great if you are in North America or the Pacific. The surrounding neighborhood, like most of the rest of the Sinai, is dirty (trash filled) desert, but there is no need to leave the Coral Bay complex so that is not a concern at all. Other than that, one could not ask for a better experience. Fantastic rooms, beds, beaches, pools, restaurants, staff, spa...... You name it and it was wonderful! If I was in the area again, I would definitely stay here.

It is a shame no-one was there

The Domina Coral Bay Complex is stunning and and The Domina Prestige is worth its 5 stars for room quality. Staff are helpful and pleasant. Unfortunately for the time we were there, (first week of April 2011) there were hardly any guests and most of the facilities were closed. 8 out of 11 retaurants including the one in our hotel were shut down. There is an on site "Taf Taf" bus service to get arount this big complex, we did not manage to catch one during the whole stay and faced 15 minute walks to the buffet restaurant in another hotel. The complex is a taxi ride away from the Naam bay and the centre of Sharm so we added £20 to the dinner bill when we went out. I appreciate that circumstances were beyond everyone's control, but through lack of available facilities, it did not live up to the description.

good quality/cost

Egyptian are ery nice, warm and friendly. Prompt answers to any request all the time. Lot of activities and fun inside the resort. I loved the spa Lot of rocks, not convenient for swimming on the shore. LOt of Russain and Italian. More family oriented. It is not the right place for singles who want to meet others.

really nice hotel

the hotel was really good ,we had a good stay ,the breakfast was great , the quality of service was excellent , the room was big & nice but we booked 2 rooms & they gave them to us too far from each other & on the opposite side !! , we loved the spa & enjoyed the massage , the complex has all what we needed starting from the bank& ATM ending up with the mini market , shops & restaurants , all in all it was a perfect experience ,the only down side of it is that it was far a way from naama bay & if you take a taxi from the hotel it is expensive & literally a rip off !!

Excellent overall experience.

It is an excellent hotel. The service is amazing. PEople are very friendly. Food is excellent and restuarants are excellent. Night show is very entertaining. Only pitfall is that the bathroom is old. It needs renewal but it was functioning well.

Interesting place to stay

Beautiful place, massive, hotel staff spoke English but the other guests were all Russian or Italian, so it was hard to meet people. The diving was strictly average too. But NO faults with the hotel, except if you go, get the all inclusive deal cause there is nowhere else to go for food etc.

I would return tomorrow ..no problem

The hotel was actually one of about seven in the resort , which doesnt really matter as the resort is open with amenities galore . I didnt manage to make it around every bar or restaurant as there were that many , but the ones I did visit were excellent , along with a couple of nights in the casino . Several beaches and plenty of swimming pools I did my PADI diving course so easily and never ventured out of the resort.The beaches are clean, people friendly , staff were excellent , service great.Great place to relax with facilties to party if you want to, so I would return without hesitation. Room excellent , clean , spacious and comfortable .

Siamo stati nel complesso bene,personale gentile,escursioni organizzate molto bene con guide simpatiche e preparate, spiagge piscine ben organizzate Nota negativa la stanza,veramente vecchia,assolutamente necessita di una ristrutturazione soprattutto il bagno,cibo nella media per lo standard Egiziano comunque vario,senza grosse pretese qualcosa di trova....

Il resort come struttura è molto grande, si intuisce che a suo tempo è stato un top di gamma della zona ma adesso è da rivedere in molte parti, certamente da ristrutturare. Peccato davvero che una volta arrivati in camera (abbiamo prenotato una Oasis e ci hanno posizionato in una Sultan senza avvisarci né spiegare il perché del cambio) abbiamo riscontrato subito costanti perdite in bagno con conseguenti allagamenti risolti dopo 1 giorno di continui interventi. La camera è di fatto da rivedere, mattonelle che si staccano, tenda della doccia (tenda? In un 5 stelle?) vecchia e macchiata, portafinestra difficile da chiudere, serratura con carta elettronica non sempre funzionante e olezzo di scarico (specie al mattino). Non è un resort a 5 stelle (a meno che non si pernotti al Prestige ma in quel caso sarebbe stato corretto dirlo) ma a 4. Asciugamani macchiati e lettini malfunzionanti in spiaggia (anche qui, se non si prenota al Prestige e non si fa parte del D Club) ben lontani dall’essere a livello 5 stelle. La distinzione tra ospiti d serie A e B è fastidiosa e alla lunga, a mio parere, controproducente. Personale comunque abbastanza disponibile e servizio di sicurezza impeccabile, la punta di diamante dell’organizzazione (cosa sicuramente ragguardevole ma non dovrebbe essere questa a spiccare, piuttosto tutto il resto). Se mai dovessi decidere di ritornare al Domina, mi spiace ammetterlo, ma, al momento, sarebbe solo per la posizione, la spiaggia e il mare.

Per avere quanto richiesto alla prenotazione ho dovuto discutere a lungo....per avere ciò che avevo prenotato e pagato....

La stanza era ok, letti comodi, nel resort si trova tutto il necessario. In particolare per vacanze all’insegna delle immersioni c’è il centro diving interno, con ottimo servizio e diverse possibili escursioni.

Struttura molto vasta e variegata, per tutte le tasche dalle stanze spartane con servizi essenziali a quelle più lussuose con servizi top. Più adatta a famiglie che a gruppi di amici, ma offre comunque spazi e servizi anche per single. Ottima la gestione della spiaggia e delle piscine, servizio di asciugamani da spiaggia, unica pecca il personale della Spa e dei massaggi che sono molto insistenti e passano frequentemente disturbando il relax. La struttura flottante per entrare in acqua a nuotare nella splendida barriera corallina è un plus.

Sono anni che scelgo il Domina Coral Bay,per i servizi,la barriera corallina,la bellezza del paesaggio,il cubo è buona,ottima la pulizia della camera,avevo prenotato una stanza Aquamarine. Il personale addetto alla spiaggia è gentilissimo. Unici difetti il bar della spiaggia principale è uno solo,il The Beach quest’anno è stato posizionato proprio sotto le camere. Episodio spiacevole quando ci è stata assegnata la camera di cortesia nel tardo pomeriggio,prima di partire,la definirei indecente. Comunque lo consiglio a tutti.

Struttura che conosco da più di venti anni,sempre rinnovata da anno a anno,sia con note positive che negative,come ad esempio le camere ristrutturate che sono stupende ma il bar della spiaggia principale rispetto allo scorso anno è troppo lontano. Ristoranti a buffet 3 buoni,servizio interno di trasporto ottimo,pulizia delle camere buona. Insomma è sempre una conferma.

Togliendo spiaggia e barriera corallina, bellissime, il resort non ha nulla di un 5 stelle, è rimasto fermo agli anni 90. Decisamente scadente.

Ho soggiornato al domina per 15 giorni , esperienza unica e indimenticabile. Barriera corallina stupenda . L’unica pecca i ristoranti che cucinavo un po’ troppo internazionale e speziato . Staff molto gentile e disponibile. Nel complesso la struttura è un po’ di vecchia generazione, a mio parere alcune zone e cose andrebbero rimodernizzate.

Zeer oud kamer, bedden van jaren 80, àlles jukten. Geen sfeer in de kamer, oude douchecabine. Terwijl werd op de site als 5 sterren hotel opgegeven. Eten elke dag hetzelfde, niet veel keuze. Overal willen ze jouw centjes, voor elk klein dingetje, zeer irritant. Maximaal 3 sterren!

Finger weg… Diese Anlage ist einfach die schlimmste und schrecklichste Erfahrung gewesen. Wir hatten für 11 Tage gebucht, davon haben wir nur 5 Tage dort verbracht. Es ist einfach unerträglich schlimm, wie das Personal sich benommen hat. All Inklusive ist definitiv nicht das gängige all Inklusive Konzept!! Da wir „nur“ Bella Vista waren und nicht zum D Club gehörten, war das Speisen und Trinken nicht überall möglich. Das Zimmer ist nicht in einem guten Zustand. Ameisen und Moten waren überall zu finden selbst auf dem Bett!!!!!! Kommt für uns überhaupt nicht mehr infrage…. Schlimmer gehts nicht…

Prima volta che venivo al Domina dopo vari anni che mancavo da Sharm, la struttura benché datata si mantiene egregiamente e si ristruttura grazie all'operato di tutto il numeroso staff, che è dedito in maniera encomiabile al proprio lavoro, inizialmente ero un po titubante per le recensioni non sempre positive, ma mi sono trovata molto bene, ottima la sicurezza, efficienti i taf taf presenti per agevolare gli spostamenti nell'enorme struttura, gradevoli gli spettacoli serali, buono il cibo dei ristoranti all inclusive, il mio preferito sia per motivi logistici di vicinanza alla camera, sia per atmosfera, il Garden. La camera bella e con vista pazzesca sul mare, mi ha ospitato con i miei 2 figli per 10 gg ed è sempre stata pulita ottimamente. Un po fastidiose le frequenti richieste in spiaggia del personale della SPA. Grazie comunque per tutto e spero di tornare presto.
