1) Breakfast with our booking and restaurant was shut the due to work being done we were told. No refund was given. 2) Dirty car as you navigate the hall way to your room. 3) Room was not very clean. Bathroom show/bath was too dirty to even consider going into. 4) A lady at the reception was very rude. She never ever smiled. We run out of toilet paper and she took over 1 hour to bring us any.

I was a bir shock about bed frame condition

We checked in late in the night. The staff was helpful. The room was very hot and there was no way the temperature could be adjusted. The linen had cigarette holes in them and furniture looked rusty and old. The surroundings was very noisy. Try to avoid if you can.

Did not sleep - they would not turn on the AC

The AC was not on in my room and I did not sleep. I complained to the reception and I was told that the AC was "seasonal" - which is unheard of. I asked to turn it on because I was sweating and I was instructed to open the window! My response was that I could not sleep with all the street noise if the window was open...and still the AC was not turned on. Lastly, the advertisement for this hotel does not even inform that the AC is "seasonal". RIDICULOUS! I contacted Hotels.com to request compensation for a night not slept and the hotel denied the refund and lied saying that it was too cold to turn on the AC. Anyone can research on the web and see that the weather was not cold...people were walking in shorts and t-shirts on the streets...while I was sweating in my room! It's not about the money - it's the false advertisement and absurd customer service at the hotel.

May be this is the only room poor status. Very small room. And condition seems poor. Need remodeling not just paining.

The location was not good, also the must consider buying new towels

This property increased the price within a day. I stayed in same room. I had few knocks in my room by the housekeepers, but they did not talk, until asked who is it, then they said if i need my room cleaned, i got so scared, my room was cleaned and i had a do not disturb paper outside of my room hanging. I called the reception and told them about this and said that someone already cleaned my room, they said they will let them know and right after that someone knocked in my room no talking i asked few times then they said it is room cleaning. Receptionist people was not friendly, when i asked to order food to my room they said you order it yourself, if i could i would. Every time i would enter hotel i was asked what room i’m going to and i would tell them, finally i asked why they keep asking that, they said they found out that there was someone at the hotel that should of not stayed there, that is very scary, maybe they were knocking my door. Seems like hotel don’t have cameras. Hotel don’t have iron, or any service, breakfast was horrible.

My wife and my 10 month old son and I stayed at this hotel around the first week of April 2023. Edral (the front desk manager) and staff were helpful, friendly and professional. Our room was on the first level (level above lobby). The hotel has 2 connected buildings. We stayed on the north side (further from Mühürdar Fuat Sk.) which was very quiet. The breakfast variety was great. A few minutes away to walk to Kadikoy Ferry Station. Great location and definitely I recommend this place.

Alit of noises from staff talk out side my room late night and early morning. I could not sleep,so I called reciption But nothing changed 😡

Overall management of the hotel is very good. The room size is satisfying. Nothing to complain about and will return to this hotel if visit this area again in future.

This tidy, calm hotel on the Asia side is the smart alternative to the packed Europe side at half the price. Within 10 minutes of the hotel,.there are over 200 places to eat, two jazz clubs, and other bars. The ferry to the Europe side is ten minutes walk and costs one dollar.

Nice very very friendly but most importantly trustable staff. Hotel is clean. Sanitizing everywhere. Everything comes in package including bread. As i said before staff are very helpfull. They also provide pre flight pcr tests for customers at very discounted price. I will definately stay again.

Property is well located in center. Parking is not free, 20TL off site, but it happened to be Sunday and we parked in front of the property free. Breakfast is limited selection due to Covid.

We could not sleep at night from noise outside even though we were on the 4 floor. We could not sleep because of heat also. It was very hot in the room. AC did not work. Even though we turned off the heat (AC) and they turned off for us, the heat was blowing from it. We told the reception about it. They told us just turn off the heat and the unit has a central air conditioner or open the windows. I thought AC can be used for cold/heat. They just lied to us. Because we stayed in many other hotels and we did not have this kind of problems. We ordered/paid for three people and I asked for 3 people, and some room accessories or things were only for two. For my nephew they opened the guest room couch. They said that this room is for family. But I told them I paid for 3 not for two and my nephew is 25 years old and 2 meters tall. staff were ok. And check out was at 12 noon was not bad. The location is good for transport and restaurants. Breakfast was ok could have been better. I will give to this hotel 2 stars. The amazing things are they will help with your bags when come first time but when you are leaving they will not even touch your bag to help even will not open the door for you.

Great location. They give 2 complimentary chocolate bars and 2 waters a day which I thought was very nice. Very friendly staff. Arranged our PCR tests on site and results arrived quickly. Great breakfast. Took covid protocols seriously which made me feel very safe. Overall great experience, I would definitely stay with them again.

Overall my visit to the Dila Hotel was very pleasing. The room was comfortable, clean, and the air con kept the temperature to a nice level. The bed was fine as was the bathroom and shower etc. However only one coffee and whitener were supplied so I had to keep asking for extra at reception or if I saw one of the cleaning ladies. The breakfast was ok it was a hot one the first day but then it was just cold meats etc for the other four nights. Overall my visit was fine and it was a short walk to Kadikoy ferry, bus and metro station which was very convenient to get over to the European side of Istanbul, If you arrive into the new airport it is a long drive to the hotel. I used a taxi and it took nearly an hour and a half on a busy Saturday evening. Stop and start and how the driver got me to the hotel without a bump is a miracle. Peter L Smith Manchester U.K.

The main attraction to this hotel is the location. If you want a place to have breakfast and sleep this is the one. If you want to stay and spend most time in hotel then avoid as it can get boring.

Bad Parking, Small elevators, Old bldng, Bad Wifi

Parking underground here is kind of a nightmare. Elevators are too small and old. Taking the elevators from the underground parking needs a code which they gave that to us on the last day!!! Two elevators divided into two buildings which was confusing for first timers that was never advised by them. Only thing we loved her was the breakfast and shopping around. Wifi was terrible most times

Sooooo central to every thing in Kadikoy, direct bus to & from airport is 5mins from hotel. Lovely roof terrace views off the beautiful Bosporus. Across the road from hotel are the boat ports for crossing the Bosporus to the Europe side off Istanbul. Hotel Breakfast is lovely from 7.30 till 10.30am . Reception staff are pleasant especially Rahmi he is very helpful always a smiling face. Bedroom clean & comfortable, bathroom towels changed every day & rooms cleaned every day! Stayed a few times & we will be returning again soon! Love Dila Hotel 👌

I stayed first on the European side of Istanbul with lots of tourist noise. This side is much better. I got to meet locals and foods are more authentic. The hotel is located right in the middle of it. Close to ferry and shopping. The staff are great. Especially Aicy - if I am spelling her name right. Breakfast is great. Great hotel for your money. I will definitely stay again there.

Be honest with your price

I like it. Staff are helpful and patient. Rooms are spacious. Lobby is big and comfy. My only complaint is the way it advertise the price in Hotel.com. The total taxes and other fees (which was not itemized) was so high, higher than the room rate it advertized. It is better to be honest upfront as to how much really is your price.

The hotel not as described. The carpet definitely need replacement the room super small. The electric outlets only two of them and does not fit iPhone charger. I have to buy separate connector to fit my iPhone to it plus the hotel does not have these connectors. The bathroom tube has have door which makes the water goes out. The hot water some time disconnect for a second them come back. The hotel has a safe which is difficult to figure out how it works. The window seems that won’t close all the way through, so sound from outside can be very loud. If you don’t replace the trash pages for yourself and set them next to the door, the staff members won’t replace them. Domestic phone call will be charged for. The only benefit for this hotel that it is close to the port and the bus station and metro.

Good Hotel in Perfect Location

This modern hotel is in the heart of the bustling Kadıköy district, just a few minutes walk from the IST and SAW airport bus stops, as well as the ferry terminal to Eminönü. I found it to be perfect for a couple of nights layover between flights, arriving at SAW and departing from IST. Check in by the hotel manager was quick and efficient, and I was shown to my room by a member of staff. The single room had all the features I needed, including a comfortable ¾ double bed (perhaps a little hard for my liking), good a/c, cable TV with a few channels in English (no BBC unfortunately), a fridge and tea/coffee making facilities. The free wi-fi also worked well. The complementary buffet breakfast was quite comprehensive, with a range of hot and cold dishes, which I found to be excellent and set me up for the day. Despite its proximity to the bustling streets, there was little external noise with the window closed and the a/c on. All in all, a comfortable and convenient hotel offering excellent value in a perfect location. I’d certainly stay there again.

The hotel location was very convenient, it's close to the bus station, the marina, the ferries, etc.. The staff were amazing, Ayse, Aykut, Rahmi and Uqur all offered me excellent service and I will never forget them. They were there for everything I needed and any time I needed them.

the shower was a bit odd. standing shower meant a lot of water on the floor next to the bathtub. unfortunately not well thought about that ... on arrival one could not find the reception employee. I was asked to wait. this lasted 15 minutes and I was offered a drink, which I had to pay later. not very bad but strange. everything else was okay. good staff. friendly and the breakfast was great.

Normally good but not this time

This is my 3rd stay at this hotel. I normally stay here because of the excellent location however this 3rd stay has been disappointing. The room I was in wasn't particularly clean or well maintained with dust all over surfaces and TV with plugs falling apart and shower heads cracked meaning water sprayed everywhere. The walls were extremely thin to the point I can hear both occupants on either sides of my room talk at night including their TVs which made it very hard to sleep at night and the air conditioning didn't really work. The WiFi is also the worst WiFi I've ever experienced in both a hotel and in Turkey, it is dial up speeds and even takes up to a minute or two just to load Google, I really can't recommend this hotel to anyone to relies on WiFi. That being said the free breakfast and excellent location to both the bus station, metro and ferry terminal is excellent and the price is often very good here. Staff are very friendly and always happy to help. Normally this hotel has been excellent in the past which is why I often stay here but this has been a very disappointing stay.

A poorly run establishment in a decent area but below average hotel, not a four star hotel as suggested, needed to change the room due to the very small size, nothing like the photos on site, belqo par breakfast, very little choice and tasteless, zero service, and a will not recommend at all but better hotels in the area.

Hotel was quiet compared to central city ones. In a side street off main harbour area so was peaceful. Rooms at the back are very quiet. Good - Room very clean, great bathroom amenities, good shower and air con/heating, soundproofed windows, several English speaking TV channels, fridge n kettle in room, comfy bed, excellent breakfast- huge choice and variety in nice setting.with efficient staff Free tea in bar every afternoon 5:30-7:30. Not so good - room a little dated but very serviceable n comfy. I was the only person in restaurant every evening n service could be difficult - strange as menu was good and food very good and big portions. Several staff spoke no or very little English but always helpful to understand, so we overcame any language issues. I would recommend this as a quiet, efficient, comfy hotel at a great price. Ferry, Kadikoy - Eminonu (next to Galata bridge) just 20 mins n ever 10/15 mins or so. Loved my morning trip across the bay each morning !

Hidden GEM

I travel solo to Istanbul from USA.I found this hotel on hotels.com. I was sceptical at the Beginning but once I got there the staff was amazing!!! they spoke English and very very helpful in helping me with tourist spots,transportation ,the best restaurant so on and so forth .I am very very very impressed and I would definitely recommend this to anybody and the breakfast was amazing... I felt like I was in a four or five star property for 1 start $.

Good business hotel 5 mins from Kadikoy subway

Staff at Dila Hotel were all friendly and helpful. The furnishings will very soon need replacing and renewing e.g. the carpet in our room was stained and worn in some areas. However, the room size was generous, which was really useful for all the shopping we did. We had the luxury of laying out our suitcases to pack all the shopping in the room. Breakfast was a wide spread of Turkish breakfast items, minus menemen.

Wonderful hotel

Excellent hotel with friendly helpful staff and great amenities. Plentiful buffet breaksfast. Only drawback was bad coffee at breakfast. Fortunately, the area has plenty of decent coffee outlets, both Turkish and western, like Starbucks.

Excellent place to stay in for a holiday

I was very glad to choose this hotel (Dila Hotel) during my stay in Istanbul for the period 16 - 22 Sep 2018. This is because the location is excellent, close to every thing; the staff are very friendly and helpful; the room is quite spacious with comfortable bed, the sheets and below are very clean, towels changed every day. The breakfast is fantastic in terms of variety, freshness and taste. I will definitely recommend this hotel to friends and colleagues.

Rooms were cleaned on daily basis. Comfortable and super king bed made sleeping and relaxing in tge room quite comfortable.

Everything was aligned with paid amount, but in stats hotel only 1 out from 10 speaks English. I was really surprised. Everything else is okay. Very friendly and helpful stuff.

Professional Manager and nice hotel

We had some issues, however the manager was so nice and dealt with it in a professional way. The hotel has an easy access to all aminities, the breakfast staff are very professional and nice. I recommend this hotel to tourists.

Excellent hotel with reasonable price

- Smooth check in with English speaking receptionist. - Clean and spacious room with comfortable AC which you can control. - Spacious bathroom with a bath tab. Amenities could be improved, but it’s enough considering the reasonable price. - Convenient surrounding environment, but no street noise heard in the room. - Enough variety of breakfast with enough taste. Less food availability after 10am. Thus recommend to go for breakfast before 10am.

Location makes this hotel work!!!

If location is the measure of a hotel's value - then this hotel far exceeded my expectations. The location is central to shopping, restaurants and a really busy nightlife. The hotel itself was comfortable, clean and in good condition. The breakfast was adequate, service was attentive, and the hotel even has a small fitness center and billiard's table - just one warning - the tub is slippery... hahaha... The wifi was also very reliable.

I like the location more than anything else. The hotel is near the beach, tram and a lot of restaurant so that you can always have whatever you want to eat. The hotel service was nice and the staff were friendly. I would go there again. I enjoyed my holiday. The people here are friendly too. I would recommend family and friends to visit here
