Property and view were so beautiful

Excellent property beautiful and would go again

Diamond Cliffs was an incredible vacation for us! The property, location, staff, and management all made our stay a once-in-a-lifetime experience! We were cared for by staff who took the time to learn our names, and if any small issue arose management dealt with it swiftly. Highly recommend!

Excellent hotel with friendly staff

A good hotel, although pretty expensive

We chose it for the proximity to the beach. The room was good, and although we found some hair in the bathroom when checking in, we appreciated their action and the complimentary fruits basket they send us for this. It’s a shame that the pool is only open until 7 pm, that’s a nonsense. At least the one in front, next to the bar, could be open more for guests to enjoy it. Some out of date QR code in the rooms. We scanned it to see activities there and the page showed August 2024, so half year back. Don’t expect entertainment like in other 5 stars hotel. Bed was comfortable, sheets and towels were in good condition, the breakfast was consistent in options. All in all, we liked it, but having stayed in other 5 stars resorts in patong area before, we think this one lacks personality and connection with its guests

Amazing location and facilities. It was walking distance to many food places and shopping. Room was relatively clean and truth to the beach view. Certain staff paid attention to other guest differently, especially those over the check in desk, and it’s not professional. Ultimately, I will be back again.

Property was awsome! Stayed in room for 4 days, exceptional view and close to town and beach! Stayed in Villa for four days, wow!

The service was above expectations. My room got upgraded. There is a crossing guard to assist with leaving the resort to get to the beach. Breakfast was delicious. Truly enjoyed the stay!

The staff was very helpful and provided a great experience.

Beautiful view, pretty far from Patong beach, but if you like to walk it’s a nice way to put some steps in. The hotel is a bit outdated, but clean. Breakfast good with a good variety. Right on a busy street, which might be an issue if you don’t like the motorcycles 24 hours noise.

Very nice people. Excellent service from the beginning to end. Breakfast was awesome with so many varied dishes and fresh vegetables and fruits. My whole family enjoyed everything in the hotel. Thank you for hospitality of the staff.

Recently stayed at diamond cliff the room has bugs crawling all over the wall, end tables, and around 20 on our blanket. We notified hotel staff and showed the videos we had made . they came to sweep the room and spray a bottle of insecticide that triggered my partners asthma . We asked to move but were told there are no rooms available and the only compensation we received from hotel management was two Coke Zero cans . Quite insulting and sad on their part considering this is a “5 star” resort. Will never return .

Uphill Battles

The hotel covers a large, hilly area, making it difficult to get around, despite the frequent shuttle service. However, the shuttle stops at 11:30 pm. Had I known about this, I would have chosen a different hotel, but the staff/amenities are great.

Loved our stay at Diamond Cliff, it’s quiet and peaceful but yet very close to the center.

It was a pleasant stay with superb sea view, good food and much more beautiful people.

The hotel cost for what you pay but the worst is the staff. In my case I left a deposit using a debit card, when I checkout they told me they couldn’t return my deposit until 45 days after because I made the “mistake” to use a debit card. Actually, they didn’t even mention only credit cards can be used. How I suppose to know. Then I asked for some manager and a Japanese lady under name Yuki (assistant front office manager) came in a very rude tone and told me that even it was their mistake they can’t help me and I must wait 45 days. I told her that her “solution” was not good and her tone was rude. I told her that it deserves a review (not a good one) how they treat their clients and her answer (repeatedly) was “I DON’T CARE” you write a review. For some reason she repeated that statement a few times making clear she doesn’t really care. I told her that I record the conversation and her face “fade” then she arranged an email and sent to me explaining this issue and that’s it…I’m leaving the hotel with a deposit and with the clear filling I’ll never return to this hotel and any of their branches in the group (if they have…). Thanks for being rude but as well eye opening to never return.

Phuket

Very nice place but a lot of stairs. Great breakfast

We spent 7 nights in this resort. Very safe and tranquil place to stay. It’s like an oasis with all the greeneries, trees, mini pond, waterfall in the property. It has two pools and a gym. Gym has reasonable equipment to meet your exercise needs. Buffet breakfast has sufficient options. Property is a bit outdated and can benefit with some maintenance in some areas however not a deal breaker for us. Haven’t tried their spa but you have more value for money options elsewhere in Patong. Staff are wonderful which always account for positive experience. Overall we had a pleasant stay in this resort.

Must stay near Patong Beach

We stayed here almost a week with our 17 months and we loved it here so much. Our room was oceanview so we got to see the spectacular NYE fireworks from our balcony. The room had so much space for my baby running around. Everyone on the property was incredible sweet and attentive. We also enjoyed our breakfast buffet and the pool a lot. Can't wait to come back next time

Beautiful!

Second time staying at Diamond Cliff but this time in a two bedroom villa (2 adults & 2 older kids) for New Years - the villa was stunning, very spacious with amazing views of the sea & surrounds, a private pool & sauna! Staff were helpful & friendly. Only complaint was that it took ages to get running hot water - had to let it run for at least 10 minutes which we weren't aware of initially so had a few cold showers! It was peak season so the pool areas were busy (particularly the kids pool) so not many sunbeds available but we spent most the time at our villa anyway, breakfast buffet also got very busy on a couple of mornings (not enough tables available).

Amazing Resort second time stayed here. From staff to service to location. Amazing and definitely would be back and will be staying at Diamond Cliff Patong.

We had an amazing trip staying at this resort. It was central and walking distance to the beach, shopping and night life. I travelled with my teenage children and will definitely be back, there is so much to do and and we felt central for all the tours etc. The resort was extremely clean, and gardens were gardens and walkways etc were maintained constantly. the staff were extremely helpful and friendly the pools were amazing. And the restaurant and buffets were fabulous. Will definitely be back. We didnt want to leave!

Great Hotel and Service

Great hotel in a great location. Located on a steep terrain that puts some wear on your legs when walking in and out of it. Also it's a little dated. But great staff and had an amazing time.

Often times we read these reviews and wonder of they are really truthfully. Welp, im here to say, this resort...this resort right here, simply amazing! Everything 10/10. Customer service 10, Staff friendliness and attentives 10, safety 10, rooms 10, food 10, convenience to beaches and restaurants 10, cleanliness 10, room service 10. I could go on and on...Sis, Bruh....book the resort!!

Excellent. Everything was excellent. Room had a beautiful sea view. Very spacious. Everywhere was clean. Beautiful pools. Fitness classes available including Thai boxing. If I ever come back to Patong, I will be staying at diamond cliff

A top-notch place, especially the breakfast - so many options for everyone! I filled up on fresh papaya and pineapple, muesli, and cook-to-order omelet, the kids liked the pastries and bottomless Nutella, while my husband preferred the more traditional Thai cuisine. Our lattes were also excellent. Location very convenient to Patong beach, we walked there easily. Beautiful and expansive rooms.

They allow smoking right next to the main restaurant. Not good to smell and breath tobacco while eating breakfast. Quite disgusting.

Service was excellent.

The people so friendly even gave my wife a cake for her birthday. Love the room very spacious, unique. Location is the best. Great choice for a holiday.

Great place with great views Villa is amazing

Property is nice but not a 5 start resort I had in mind. Any decent hotel in North America could easily match the benefits. It is also not as cheap as I expected. 60 minute massage was about 80 usd.

This property is so close to restaurants, shopping and across the street from the beach. We were able to walk to everything within 5-10 minutes. The staff were so nice and welcoming. Highly recommended.

Great resort in Patong

Good hotel & good location close to downtown Patong. Plus: large room & useful balcony to get your clothing dried. 2 restaurants, 1 bar with a view, fruit shop, spa. Breakfast was amazing: huge amount of variety of food. 2 big pools, one with a view, one with a slide. Sports facility & fitness courses provided. Drawbacks: steep slope to get to the rooms uphill but shuttle provided.

Clean resort

This is a beautiful resort. The beach is across the street from the resort. The rooms are spacious and clean. The breakfast options were many and all delicious. The room service was 24 hrs and very convenient. I would stay here again.

Noce enough but dirty

Noce enough hotel bit disgustingly filthy. We arroved to be told we were upgraded. The room had an old hair grip in the shower and razor under the bed. Told rwcwption who couldnt be less interested. Pool areas dirty. We didnt get any clean towels for 2 days . Certainly not a luxurious resort

5 star service — wonderful staff & amazing arcitecture.

An elegant hotel, at the quiet end of Patong Beach, within walking distance of the beach and main shops. A very grand and spacious lobby and 2 lovely pools, one with great sunset views. A variety of bars and restaurants, though we did only have breakfast there as we prefer street food markets in the evenings. The breakfast was varied and plentiful. We had an ocean view jacuzzi room which was lovely. Very spacious and elegant design. There was a small balcony with seating for 2. We thought it was worth the extra for this room. The hotel is set in a cliff so it is quite hilly and steep in parts but there is a shuttle bus constantly running from the lobby area to the upper areas. But still many steps so this would not be suitable for people with mobility problems. In all we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend.

The hotel is very nice, be aware even though shuttle bus it is VERY steep with lots of stairs everywhere so you will be walking up and down a lot of stairs. The two pools are great, breakfast was very good. Rooms comfy and clean. Did not get VIP benefits even though asked twice on checking in, think maybe language barrier as my Thai is only about ten words!

The view is wonderful, with a few restaurants in walking distance.

Room facilities were very good for a Phuket hotel considering a number of the top hotels are getting old now. Our Air Con was a bit hit and miss on set temperature but it didnt let us down. Hotel staff were excellent, the best I've ever had in Thailand. Thais are wonderful friendly people but I have in the past, found its sometimes difficult to ask for changes or special requests etc. Diamond Cliff staff managed to answer and organise any requests we had with a smile. Highly recommend this hotel and we will come and stay again next time we are in Phuket.

Clean, great service!

Staff at the desk rude and disrespectful!!!

Diamond cliff exceeded expectations. The sea facing balcony room was worth the upgrade, beautiful views. Breakfast wasn’t the best but still ok, the only complaint I would have was the shower, which constantly turned from cold to scalding hot … All in all, my partner and I loved the stay and would recommend to anyone!

Great hotel but not young family friendly set on hillside terrain with no lifts leading to carrying prams or 2 toddlers up mutliple flights of stairs Staff were great. Breakfast was first class All inclusive needs to be across all hotel not just the one restaurant/pool bar

Very unsafe with so many steps and major effort to get to lobby. Restaurant does not put out high quality product ( thai and western)

Sorry but everything is terrible in this hotel. We booked a jacuzzi suite, oceanview and the room is located in a "creepy", dark, floor. Everything you see and feel is concrete-so expect nothing but very hot temperarure anywhere. The lobby is extremely HOT, staff greet you in agony due to this condition so expect attitude-not the usual smile thais are known for. The main restaurabt by the pool is extremely hot too-we didnt enjoy the over priced food. This hotel should consider installing ACs their common areas esp at the lobby anf the restaurant. Also, our room was poorly cleaned during our 5 nights stay. On our third day we asked the cleaning lady to clean our room again since she only fixef the beddings and thats it, vut she refused to, saying she already did. We didnt argue anymore, oh well. On our 5th night we booked a room on the hotel next to it, and returned to check out the following day. I will never go back here.

This hotel is high-end and the service is just through the roof excellent. For example, it was my birthday during the stay but we didn't tell anyone. They surprise us at breakfast with a birthday cake and staff well wishes. The property is immaculate and the rooms are decorated in a traditional Thai manner, not like a corporate hotel. Overall, a wonderful stay!

Great hotel, clean, quiet, 2 great swimming pools, excellent beauty studio services, big selection at breakfast, staff friendly and helpful. Our only complaint is the lift wasn’t working to my elderly mums room on the 3rd floor, she found it very difficult going up and down the stairs. The hotel is on a cliff so be aware there are a lot of steps.
